Lana Del Rey stood as one of the worst dressed at last night’s Globes. She always tries too hard to conjure up a retro vision and did up her hair “real big, beauty-queen style” like one of her tunes. Lana wore a sea-foam green vintage Travilla gown to support her nomination for Best Original Song for “Big Eyes.” Her look was one of overkill. This dress looks like a seashell, and the styling was just so … big. Ginormous hair, exaggerated lips, huge eye makeup. I guess it goes with her song’s title, right? Unfortunately, this looks like a Halloween costume at an otherwise glamorous awards show.
Chrissy Teigen brought the pink doily madness in a Zuhair Murad gown. This dress is surprisingly pretty for a doily, no? John Legend (along with Common) beat Lana for Best Original Song (presented by the righteous Prince). Chrissy tweeted, “I have never been so proud in my life.” On the red carpet, Ryan Seacrest had the audacity to ask whether Chrissy asked John for permission for tweeting. Oh, Seacrest. So clueless.
Kelly Osbourne wore a Georges Chakra gown for her E! correspondent duties. This dress is nothing new from Kelly. She may have even pulled it out of her closet. The lavender hair was cool for a season, but it’s time to change it up. Kelly wore Platt jewelry.
Speaking of things that never change, Giuliana Rancic caused a great deal of concern trolling on Twitter over her weight. Giuliana wore a maria Lucia Hohan gown with a severe fishtail. I’m not sure how she walked around in this gown. The dress had extra material for boob-eyelet cups and a peplum on top of the fishtail, and it was a really fug ensemble. Giuliana piled on the bronzer and fake tan, which made her look super thin.

Chrissy Teigen’s dress looks like she has a bedazzled adult undergarment attached to it at the nether regions.
Lana has fabulous hair and beautiful makeup but the dress makes her look pudgy, not curvy, and that’s not a good thing if one is going for the retro 50’s look.
at least Lana is actually pretty, and nice to look at. When she doesnt pull stupid faces). I dont know, but apart from Lana and Lupita, all those celebrities look sooo average to me. Those 2 are cuties though.
I don’t know, Lana’s lip job is a bit over the top. I like the hair and can handle the dress but not the fake lips. Lupita is gorgeous though.
I like the colour of Lana’s dress, but the material just seemed really cheap to me.
I hated Chrissy’s dress. All I could see was “doily diaper”.
I thought Giulana pre-show dress was better. Kelly was meh.

I use to work at E!, she was always very nice to work with. I remember she was always very hardworking but also obsessed with keeping her figure, but this has taken it to a whole new level. Poor woman. Does she think the thinner she gets the younger she looks, I wonder?
I hope she is ok.
I think she looks like a skeleton with hair. It’s very scary. I am sure she will say she is at a healthy weight and there is no cause for alarm. I am sorry but that is a not a normal look for anyone.
Other than Hollywood when do you see people this thin without there being an underlying problem? I know there is the rare exception.
She is absolutely emaciated. The hollow, enormous eyes and protruding bones are the look that a family friend of mine had when she was undergoing lengthy chemo and had stopped eating because food had no taste to her any more.
That’s not bronzer that’s making Giuliana look emaciated. She’s got serious issues with food and body image. This is a woman who was told she had to gain 15 pounds to have a shot at getting pregnant (and we know how important that was to her) and she couldn’t bring herself to do it.

Last night I put it this way, with her wispy dress top, and messed hair, she reminded me of a frail fragile little baby bird that fell from a nest. I don’t like her as a personality, she’s not really good at her job, but I have empathy for what looks like a sad state of health.
I feel bad for her too.
Really, she must be ill because those arma are not normal.

This is the exact description she’s aiming for. I loved the dress. Am I the only one? Then again, I love Lana’s music, so I’m biased as hell. I just like how the color “pops”.

There’s a lot of NO going on here but the lady in the background of the first Lana pics looks pretty classy. I don’t dislike what Chrissy is wearing, it’s just not all that great. And I’m not sure about any of these ladies’ hair colors.

Guiliana looked horrible. And I can practically see bone emerging from her body when she was on camera.
Rancic’s face is strange enough when she’s less emaciated. This pushes her into an alien-from- outer-space look. Or like one of those kids whose orthodontist removed her back molars because her lower jaw was too small, instead of using stretchers to enlarge the jaw. All I can see when I look at her is deformity.
Is it just me or does Lana’s face look drastically different…?

I think that Lana looks like Priscilla Presley. She looked much better than I was expecting, and I think that she looks really pretty in the top picture where she is smiling. That is the first time I’ve seen a picture of her smiling.
And while I didn’t like Kelly Osbourne’s clutch, I think that she looks fantastic here. I LOVE this dress. She’s also wearing too many rings, but that bracelet is BOSS.

Giuliana is only 40 but being so underweight she looks so much older. I believe that she is naturally thin but she used to be slender, not stick skinny.
I really like Lana Del Ray’s styling: the color is beautiful, her hair is not overly done, her make up is spot on. The draping of the dress is a little off, but overall I think it works with her vibe.

So I love Lana’s hair and makeup. But the dress is not the best that a retro look has to offer. The color is fine but the material looked weird at least to me. After Lana I don’t like the look of anyone else. I find Kelly’s look way too old for her and Guiliana looks ill. I hope Kathy G. can shake things up at E! but something tells me they will not allow her to be as truthful as she often is…and that will sort of ruin it all.
