Here are some photos of last night’s LA premiere of Jupiter Ascending. This film was supposed to come out last summer, but the release was pushed back because “post-production” and “fears that it will be a massive bomb.” To be fair, Jupiter Ascending currently has a respectable 60% rating on Rotten Tomatoes – not the best, but far from the worst. Maybe it won’t be as disastrous as everyone thinks. Maybe the disaster will just be localized to Eddie Redmayne’s shot at the Best Actor Oscar, in which his campy Jupiter performance will end up being his Norbit. I’m including photos of Eddie, Channing Tatum, Sean Bean and Mila Kunis in this post. Ashton Kutcher was there to support Mila, but he didn’t walk the carpet with her or by himself. He just waved to a few photographers and ran into the theater.
But let’s talk fashion. Mila wore this corseted Dolce & Gabbana dress to show off how her body snapped back four months after giving birth to baby Wyatt Isabel. She’s worn versions of this dress a million times before, and this is really nothing special, in my opinion. I mean, she looks great, but this isn’t a mind-blowing fashion moment.
Meanwhile, Channing’s wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum tried to bring some drama to the proceedings with this bright orange Cushnie et Ochs Resort 2015 gown. You know what I hate more than yellow on the red carpet? ORANGE. I think Jenna is a pretty woman, but I feel like she needs some styling help.
Should we feel sorry for Eddie? It’s not his fault that this film is coming out in the middle of his awards season. Poor guy. I’ll give all of these actors credit for showing up.

She cleans up well. She really is quite plain in “real life.” I guess part of being a star is that transformative ability.
I used to like Mila so much! Then she got with Ashton and there is this douchebag vibe I get from her now. And also, I think Jenna Dewan has had her style on point this awards season. Her yellow dress was amazing.

i was just thinking how far apart they look, despite the side by side and arm wrap. photo assumptions, yes, but my immediate reaction was “whoa. the trouble train has hit married-ville”.

I probably have no fashion sense whatsoever because I very often disagree with many of the comments i read.
it’s just different tastes is all. for the most part it’s subjective which is why I think it’s so fun to see what some people like v. what other people like

Agreed! On someone fairer this probably wouldn’t have worked, but on Jenna it looks fantastic. Sexy without being overdone.
That orange dress just helps so show off what a great body she has – I would wear a dress like that any day.

The orange is a little bright on Jenna’s dress but I kind of like it. She had one of prettiest yellow dresses on one of the red carpets recently, a pale lemon yellow that looks good on brunettes and bad on blondes.
Really glad Redmayne showed up, even though there are rumors that his people are trying to distance him from the film. Shill your work even if it sucks goes a long way imo. Professional to the bitter end. Variety had a pretty nasty review of it fwiw. Is this the end of the Wachowski (sp) brothers? At least on big budget films I’d say yes.
I love Mila’s shoes and Eddie’s suit.
It’s not just Variety’s review that was nasty, even the ones that gave it more positive reviews weren’t really thrilled with it.
I liked Bound and the Matrix. After that the Wachowskis have been incoherent. I think it’s time to scale back for them and refocus.
And I like both Mila’s and Jenna’s dresses. Nothing spectacular, but not horrid either.

Jenna Dewan is so pretty. Her eyes are everything. I saw her on some Lifetime movie as a prisoner who breaks out of prison (based on true story), and she was even sexy as a prisoner and then on the run. LOL She and Channing make such a cute couple.

The body language between Channing Tatum and his wife is odd. Mila and Eddie seem more into each other than Channing and his wife.

While orange itself is an odd colour for a dress, I think it suits Jenna perfectly! It’s really beautiful!
As for Mila.. boobs! That’s what I wanted to say, lol, oh and boring, boring and boring.
Is it just me or does the patch of skin where there’s a cutout in Dewan’s dress look super spray tanned? It doesn’t match the rest of her skin tone… At first I wanted to brush it off as a trick of the light, but you can see how white her skin is at the corners of the cutout (or maybe it is still a trick of the light??).
Ahh, I’ve just seen other pictures of the dress and they’re mesh panel, not cutouts. That makes more sense.
