I actually forgot that North West was in Paris with her parents this week! If you remember, Kris Jenner flew out of LA with North last week, and Kris and North met up with Kanye in London, then the three of them flew to Paris and Kim met up with them there. North’s been there the whole time! We just haven’t seen her during this Paris Fashion Week because Mummy’s Little Accessory was already used enough during New York Fashion Week. And maybe we aren’t seeing North as much because Anna Wintour finally put her foot down and told designers to ban babies from the front row.
Anyway, Kim posted the above Instagram last night. North sleeps in a pearl necklace? Granted, I really don’t know that much about babies or toddlers, but I would think a pearl necklace would probably be a strangulation hazard for a child? And even if it’s not that common, why push your luck? Don’t let your babies wear pearl necklaces to bed. The More You Know.
I’m also including some photos of Kim and Kanye out in Paris yesterday. Out of all the crazy outfits she’s worn in the past week… this barely breaks the Crazy-Stupid Top Five. Kanye looks like he’s already bored with playing with his Blonde Real Doll though.

if you’re going to PRETEND to be like the rest of us and PRETEND you read to your child, at least do a little research into how the rest of us live and note that the lights are usually ON when you’re reading before bedtime.
This looks like she just got to the hotel late at night and popped into a room where her baby was sleeping and took a selfie…yeah, that sounds about right.
And at least show yourself reading. And any thing around a child’s neck is a choking hazard while sleeping. This is definitely a “I’m a good mommy” picture for show.

Yeah… that necklace seems a little long. It seems like all the babies I know now are wearing amber (or other) gemstone necklaces full time, but they’re shorter. I’ll assume she took it off before she actually went to sleep…
I had my son wearing an amber necklace for a while and yes it’s much shorter but it also says not to put the child to bed with it on. That necklace she has is a straight up choking hazard and I really hope they took it off after the pic.

Baltic Amber, which is actually fossil tree resin, has 3-8% succinic acid which helps in reducing inflammation and boosting the immune system among other things. When you wear it the warmth of your body releases the healing properties. I used it on my son for teething which is why most parents use them I think. It really seemed to work IMO.
I’m obsessed with baltic Amber. My parents brought back some really nice rings and a bracelet for me when they went to the baltic region a few years ago. My favorite is a butterscotch amber ring from Latvia.
Amber necklaces really do help with teething. All 3 of our boys have worn them. Eldest wears it now cuz his permanent teeth are coming in and the necklace relieves some of the pain.
I’ve also heard that hazelwood necklace is good for teething and eczema. No experience there though.

I had to take a favorite necklace toy (gift from her Godmother) away from Junior Cat because she kept chewing on it and I figured the beads weren’t very digestible. Nori is still at the stage where she is likely to put things in her mouth, yes? And it could get twisted around her too easily. Kim just wants us to know that the Poor Little Rich Girl has a pearl necklace.

I myself have seen one break while on a baby (who was sitting on a blanket with her mother at the park) and the baby was putting beads in her mouth before her mother even realized. There is zero evidence that they work and no scientific plausibility behind claims that they do. Doctors strongly recommend against them at any time. no way the child could put all the beads in her mouth. every bead is knotted separately on the thread for safety reasons. the most she could get is a single bead. the strangulation concern – they have different lengths. the shorter is for a baby and it is hard for the child to pull on it or put it in their mouths if they have the right size necklace. and it can always be removed at night.
as for amber magic and what not. the necklaces have worked for all 3 of my kids. and it has nothing to do with placebo since I was not the one wearing them.

I would rather wear what Kanye is wearing than wear Kim’s outfit, that’s how strange that outfit is. Also, I just hope and pray that North will (against the odds) grow up to be a well adjusted human being. I also have this crazy hope that she goes on to become a doctor or something, something totally different to her parents and extended family.
Unless Kanye and Kim have some miraculous life changing experience and turn out to be a very different people, poor North doesn’t stand a chance IMO. Kim really uses that kid as an accessory and Kanye is so damn controlling, I doubt that North will be spared from Kanye wanting to dress her up and dictate what she wears as well. I know absolutely nothing about babies, but that seems like a horrible idea. I used to sleep with headphones, those weren’t circular around my neck, but after waking up one morning with them a little too tangled around me for comfort, I stopped. And I was an adult! This seems so dangerous.
Reading books before bedtime? Where is the book? Are you able to see well enough to read in the dark without a light? The child appears to be asleep. Get that necklace off that child. It is not safe for sleeping or awake time either.

for me personally, i feel that it’s dangerous. i’m old and a messy sleeper and i would never wear a necklace to bed because more than once, my sleep maneuvers have caused the necklace to get so tangled/pulled with the sheets etc and choke me. i try to not wear jewelry at all but sometimes i can be so tired that i fall asleep without remembering to, and wake up with my earring actually unseated and became hazardous to sleepers.
on the other hand, my mother never took off her jewelry and she seems fine.
but i’d rather not take risks with my children or any children i babysit.

We’re still reading about her because the Kardashians basically run the media at this point. Sounds crazy to say that, but I really believe it to be true. When Kim and her sisters crashed on vacation recently, there were no paparazzi around, yet somehow TMZ knew the whole story. Obviously someone in the Kardashian camp called to tell them what happened. Yesterday there were ONLY TWO outlets (Celebitchy and the Daily Mail) that actually posted those pictures of Kim looking high off her ass with her freak show makeup. If it were any other celebrity, those pictures would’ve been seen everywhere. Remember when Lindsay Lohan showed up somewhere with brown teeth? The media jumped all over that, but Kim shows up looking like Anna Nicole Smith and Michael Jackson’s lovechild and the story remains pretty quiet.
EVERY media outlet publishes every single move Kim makes and somehow it is rarely ever written in a negative light despite the fact that most people can’t stand her or her family.

I don’t buy that. I don’t think she is clever enough. I also don’t think she would ever willingly look like shit but she does anything to please Kanye. This is ALL Kanye, Kim is just a shell of a human being that complies with his every request (or demand). I saw a picture yesterday, most likely the Daily Mail, of Kim with her head in a shampoo bowl. Getting the bleach rinsed out. Unfortunately, it looks to be her natural hair.
And yes… a blown out bleach job on a natural brunette… will make your hair look like a bad wig.
In order to get that high lift on dark hair, requires the hair shaft to be nearly destroyed. And to keep any kind of shine or natural movement to your hair… requires some deep conditioner and sitting under a hair dryer, if you can make the time. Daily.
Then making sure you have some kind of oil sheen to spray on it, before you get out side. Just to help protect it from the extremes of normal weather. (like the Sun and wind)
I thought it was a wig at first too capepopsie, because of the grey-looking scalp and the absolutely fried texture of her hair, but I think the reason Kim’s scalp looks so gross and grey is because we see it in contrast to her bright orange makeup. If she wore makeup that actually matched her skin tone, her scalp probably would look more normal in comparison.
I also saw those photos and have to say …that photo had been completely photoshopped to he)) and back……the hair line you are speaking of had been blended and cover all the way across the forehead and the sides of her forehead and down around her ear had been shaded and filled in with grey high and lows now her makeup was also smooth over ..and those forehead pores you see in some of her close ups were completely absent …No ladies that photo had been heavily doctored…
Sadly I think it’s her real hair and the contrast is because her face is painted orange. Her hair is going to be so fried once it settles. Awhile ago I got the brilliant idea to bleach my naturally black hair blonde…..I ended up having to cut it all off. Asians + bleach = horror show

When I was in my 20’s, I decided to bleach my dark hair blonde. Because of all the harsh chemicals, the daily blow dryer and curling iron use, and the weekly or bi-weekly root touch-ups, it didn’t take long for my hair to fry. It was literally breaking off. I had to cut my hair off (it was almost waist length at the time!) to a short bob and then dyed it brown while it grew out and was healthy again. Unless you have the time and money to make sure you condition daily and properly, NEVER NEVER NEVER do it. 🙂

There was a story floating around Facebook the other day about a child getting red marks from an amber necklace, apparently she got her hand tangled up in it while she was sleeping and it got tight around her neck, luckily she was ok though.

I actually really like this outfit, the menswear vibe with the pop of red. Just not on Kim. As usual, it doesn’t suit her body type. The grey middle part is – shocker! – too tight and bunching – and all that layering overtakes the petite/curvy types. I think this could be great on someone else though. And I think it could’ve been much better if she’d gone with the outfit, but with a simple pencil skirt (NOT 3 sizes too small)
North is awake in the picture with the necklace on and we don’t know if anyone actually let her sleep with it on so I’m not going to say anything about that. Besides, North’s nanny probably had enough sense to take it off her once Kim’s 5 minutes with North were up. She clearly wasn’t reading to North because as hilariously noted by other posters, people need light to read. I find it so hard to believe that Kim actually wants to have another kid after the media destroyed her and hurt her feelings so badly while she was pregnant. I turn my back for a second and my baby has the strap wrapped around her neck! Scary as can be and taught me that babies can find was to harm themselves that adults can’t even imagine.
In this case, though, I would bet that necklace was for the photo. There is no way she puts that baby to bed herself.

Yes of course a child sleeping in a necklace is dangerous. Children are fragile and sadly there’s little room for error. North won’t have the tools to alert someone to her needs if she’s choking or the necklace gets stuck on something and starts to suffocate her.
Sigh. …just…good luck to that kid. She’s going to need it just to survive being the child of someone as idiotic as Kim. Hopefully we don’t have a Mercy 2.0 situation.

Even snug necklaces can get caught, did anyone see that story about the toddler who got one of those hokey teething necklaces wrapped around her neck because she somehow got her arm through it and twisted? I wanted to slap her mother for A) letting her toddler sleep in any sort of necklace and B) actually believing in an amber teething necklace

Well she out Pap walking again today ……same thigh high open toes boots the most ridiculous boots I have ever seen…How do you actually set in them without cutting the blood supply off to your feet and lower legs….? same skin tight black stretch pants she’s been wearing all week and another plunging to the belly button top in black of course …and same old blank eyes robot look on her face…but it isn’t the photo of her thats interesting…..really to me its the people in the back ground…..the stylist and the man who is always in the background laughing and rolling their eyes as she struts out the door and goes into robot mode….and the reflection of nobody but her hired Papz in the glass doors and a otherwise empty street…..Work it Kim….work it. !

I would not let a child sleep with anything around it’s neck – not even once. What if – just what if? I wouldn’t want to bear the burden of anything happening to a child while in my care. Kids roll in their sleep and things around their neck get twisted and tightened. Pearls/beads break and are a choking hazard. She’ll say she doesn’t normally allow this, but even once for a self-promoting good mom pic? She is stupid.
Her poor hair just looks fried and dried out more and more every day with this new color. Over-processed blonde hair went out in about 2005, I don’t know why she made this decision. Get this woman a deep-conditioning treatment.
I thought Kanye doesn’t “get the idea of books”. Also, it looks like North’s eyes are still open so let’s presume someone took those pearls off after the pic was taken. How much time has she and Kanye spent with their daughter during the past week? It must take Kim hours to get her outfit right and to get her hair and make-up done. Then she spends all day being driven around from place to place just so her pic gets taken. That little girl is probably happier around her nannies anyway. Yet they say they want another kid? They don’t even have time to raise one.

It feels like that IG video is really telling. Remember when Brittney Spears was acting a nut, and all the media plus readers like us called her (lack of) parenting out, and questioned her basic skills before services ever got involved as well? They say where there’s smoke, there’s fire.
