As I said earlier, Kim Kardashian has been in the South of France for most of the week. She spoke at the Cannes Lions conference, then she made her second appearance (in two years) at the Daily Mail’s big yacht party at the Cannes Lions conference. Once again, Kim was the big “get” – she was the big name celebrity guest and the Daily Mail is really happy that they get to continue their alliance with the Kardashian-Jenners. This year, Kim brought along Kylie (that poor child), Kylie’s boyfriend Tyga and Kris Jenner and Kris’s boyfriend – go here to see those photos.
As you can see, Kim is still exposing her body while she can. I think Kim is at that stage of her pregnancy where she has good days (not too bloated) and bad days (sick as a dog), and she must have felt pretty good last night to walk out of the hotel in this ensemble. As for her close association with the Daily Mail – Kim has said in the past that the Mail Online is her favorite gossip/celeb news site and the Daily Mail loves her right back. Their relationship is definitely “cozy.”
Megyn Kelly – stay with me! – had a cover profile in the latest issue of Variety, and in between whining about how Jon Stewart was mean to her (deservedly, because her Fox News stupidity can be epic at times), Megyn said that she wants to start doing celebrity interviews. She said she would love to interview Kim Kardashian, and then Megyn made a surprisingly good argument, saying: “I want to know if she’s a force for good or evil. I had someone make the argument that she’s voluptuous, and maybe sending the message to young girls that you don’t have to be a stick figure to be desirable. But I see the other argument too — it’s all enhanced, and you send the message that you need to surgically alter yourself to the point of shocking to be attractive to men.” That’s the conundrum with Kim’s image, isn’t it?

The daily mail is OBSESSED with the Kardashians…would love to know what arrangement they have and whether cash is exchanged.
The DM prints like 2,000 celeb articles a day, most of it just random sightings. The Kardashians make so many appearances that they keep the DM loaded with new material, so I can see why they like them.
They for sure have some kind of contract or deal with the kardashians because they have access to stories and photos that Kim and the klan haven’t “released” and no one else seems to have. They are also very pro kardashian / jenner, it’s rare you will see an article criticizing them. There are 8-10 stories a day and no other celeb gets that coverage on the site.
Only Megyn Kelly can make me want to defend KK.
Seriously. Megyn Kelly is an agent of the devil. By comparison KK is just silly and harmless.
But the flaw in her argument is that many people actually think Kim’s body is dumpy and unattractive… MANY people. Her body type is nowhere near as universally praised as the tall, slim, toned body type is.
How can her body be an encouraging message to young girls, when young girls hear Kim get put down so much? :-/
@jay the problem is that most of Kims body (the we see) was created at the hands of a surgeon. I worry more about that message than anything else. Yes her body gets put down but it’s more put down for the work she had done (she won’t admit to) than anything else. What message is that sending young girls? How can kim say oh yes except your body than she turns around and change whatever she can? That’s the problem.
Oh come on. I think she makes sense here. Kardashian is no longer working with her own face or boobs or backside. She has little to no education and some how has made money like mad because of her sex tape and her mother’s brains…not Kim’s brains but her mother’s. Many other girls tried to follow suite and it has blown up in their face and they get treated like sluts and whores but Kim doesn’t? Give me a break. She got pregnant by one man while married to another who she kept refusing to give an annulment to. I used to think she was harmless but no longer. Girls who look up to her or her Jenner sisters are in for a rude awakening when they don’t have the same money to buy themselves new faces, boobs and backsides. Nor can they make the celebrity contacts that the Kardashians had. I think she is horrid from a very selfish greedy family. It is all about her. She is a sociopath.

Evil? I think her mother could be considered evil. Selling out her daughters for financial gain but without nurturing them as a parent should. Kim is just the worst example of womanhood for the girls of today – an uneducated, vapid, narcissistic liar who uses men for her financial gain as well as being willing to mutilate her body for attention while having no self-esteem, shame or morals. That’s bad enough. I’ll reserve calling her evil dependent on how North is raised and turns out. I don’t have high hopes….

Kim is not happy with her curves and never will be. She has said many times in front of the camera that she would love to be “skinny”. She’s nothing but “smoke and mirrors”. Nothing about her is real…inside or out. She lies so much and yet the media never calls her out on it.
Exactly. No one seems to remember that when they are endlessly talking about her curves or how she supposedly created a new trend. She desperately wants to be skinny but because she has become so admired for a big butt and ample chest, she plays along with it.
