You know you’re overexposed when all that loaded was the top of her head in the thumbnail and I instantly was like ‘Oh, good. Another Taylor Swift story.’

  2. COSquared says:

The world is dangerous so I’m building a bunker. Anyone else? Those Swifties have fast-tracked my plans.

  3. The Eternal Side-Eye says:

So basically her fans are like her? Petty and passive aggressive?

  4. lunchcoma says:

I don’t believe that story for a second. I mean, I believe there were some jackass patrons who were kicked out. I don’t believe they’re the ones who did the chalking. Wine bars of that sort in NY often have a chalkboard out front listing specials, and the employees (probably not the owner herself) are a lot more likely to have a couple colors of chalk than a group of drunk Taylor Swift fans.

    • InvaderTak says:

      ….Seriously?

    • Miran says:

      Lol, okay then.

    • Matador says:

Thank GOD, thought I was the only one who felt that story didn’t pass the sniff test. So many things don’t add up: A group of fifteen drunk people were that obnoxious and not a single patron in the establishment snapped a cell picture of them, in this day and age? The entire group managed to dine n’ dash on a $500 tab and goes back to the scene of the crime to leave an elaborate chalk message in front of the place?

      Not buying it.

      • lunchcoma says:

Oh, that part of it I believe. There are drunk, rude people everywhere, and it’s not so special someone’s going to both take a picture and follow this little neighborhood kerfluffle. I just don’t think they’re the ones who wrote the message, because that seems like exactly the sort of thing a bunch of restaurant employees would do after their shifts ended and they’d had a few drinks griping about the obnoxious drunks.

      • Matador says:

Oh sorry I mean I do believe there was a rowdy drunk group BUT to the extent that the owner claims in light of the chalk message, I question the details. I wouldn’t take a picture of a generally drunk group, but one that was screaming insanely about Taylor Swift, got 86d and then bolted en masse? I think I’d take a shot of that kind of drunk group. How easy was it for fifteen people to run out of that place at once?

    • Kit says:

lol, please. Chalk on a sidewalk sounds exactly like something people who listen to Taylor Swift would do. Passive aggressive and childish, just like she is.

      • Matador says:

Regardless of what anyone thinks of Taylor Swift or her fans, the story being told by the owner is full of holes.

      • lunchcoma says:

It just sounds like too much preparation for a bunch of people so drunk they got tossed out of a wine bar, especially since it would have had to be done in the early morning. I totally buy that there are drunk, entitled young women out there who both love Taylor Swift and have childish fits in restaurants.

I just think this seems more like the kind of thing that a restaurant staff would think was hilarious (and really, it was kind of funny) when they were relaxing after a particularly terrible day at work. I mean, except for the profanity, it’s something that the restaurant would probably say about itself.

    • DarkSparkle says:

      …lol.

  5. Norman Bates' Mother says:

Marylin Manson is a big fat liar. Years ago he was touring Europe, including Poland and he said on the record that he’s half-Polish, half-German. We don’t have that many internationally famous people identifying as Polish, so the press here picks up these kinds of things immediately and takes pride in it – it was reported and quoted all the time. And now he’s suddenly Native American? I even checked his wiki – someone updated it with: he’s of German, English and Sioux descent. The only half-Polish musician I care about is Jack White – you can keep Manson forever, but he’s full of it. There are pale mixed-race people, but I’m 99% sure his pasty complexion is entirely European.

“Eagle takes down drone. This should be a movie.” – starring Reese Witherspoon and Kelly Rutherford as Amercian citizens.

    • Cricket says:

NBM… my Polish grandmother adored famous Polish people.. her fav’s were Bobby Vinton (a singer that sang in Polish), Ron Jaworski (was quarterback for Philly Eagles) and of course the Pope. PJP II was huge to my Polish side of the family, it was as if he was their relative they were so proud.

      • Norman Bates' Mother says:

So many Polish people do – it’s a part of Polish mentality to search for those common roots in people and then, as you said – be proud of them and believe in them. Currently one of the most popular celebs here is Emily Ratajkowski, of all people, because her father is Polish. As for the Pope JPII – many religious people still have his picture hanging in their houses instead of Pope Francis’, even though the rule is to have the picture of a current Pope. You can criticize Pope Francis or any other Pope if you wish, but if you try to say anything even mildly negative about PJPII, you will be called a monster – people defend him like they would defend their own family members.

But it’s not nationalism – we don’t do this because we think Polish people are better than other people. It’s just the way of thinking of people with Polish roots as a one, big family and you are supposed to support your family, no matter what.

  8. Lau says:

WHAT is she wearing? I don’t get it.

    • Mata says:

The first time I saw her wearing that weird brace, I thought it was actually a backpack. Since it’s not a backpack and doesn’t seem to serve any useful purpose, I have no idea why anyone would wear it.

    • Nina says:

It’s, uh… actually fetish wear, I think? She wears lingerine as clothes all the time, actually. It’s just that she’s so asexual you never notice. Her stage outfits are all really short shorts and thigh high boots with garters.
Not that there’s anything wrong with that; it’s just a bit unusual. Ariana Grande’s head gets ripped off every time she wears those boots of hers.

  9. Aila says:

Taylor’s hair in that bottom picture looks so much like a helmet that I can’t look away.

  10. Katy says:

I kind of feel sorry for Lamar Odom. I think his life was fine until he stepped onto the evil Kardashian train. I think he used to be a really good basketball player, but he met Khloe and the downward spiral was swift and severe. Seriously!! I’ve never seen such a destructive wake as this family leaves as they plow through peoples lives.
