Since Mark Ruffalo really doesn’t get photographed all that often, it’s always a special occasion when we do have new photos. These are pics of Ruffalo arriving in Venice, where he will help premiere his new film tomorrow. The Venice Film Festival begins today, but it doesn’t start picking up steam until later this week. I love Mark Ruffalo full-stop, but I love him especially when he’s scruffy and his curly hair looks a bit unruly. SO CUTE.

Tomorrow, Spotlight has an out-of-competition premiere. This is the film starring Ruffalo, Michael Keaton, Rachel McAdams, Billy Crudup, Stanley Tucci, Liev Schreiber, John Slattery and more. It looks SO GOOD. This is the true story of the Boston Globe’s Pulitzer-prize winning articles on pedophile priests and the coverup to shelter those priests. Here’s the trailer:

Also premiering on Thursday? Beasts of No Nation, directed by Cary Fukunaga and starring Idris Elba. So there’s also that to look forward to, photo-wise. On Friday, there will be a big premiere for Black Mass, starring Johnny Depp and Benedict Cumberbatch. Bendy will not be at the premiere, because he’s currently starring in Hamlet. But I would imagine that Scarfy Depp will be there.
