Tom Hiddleston on getting naked for ‘Crimson Peak’: ‘I was happy to do it’

tom norton

While I feel the brunt of the Mid-Atlantic Rainpocalypse today and throughout the weekend, many of the Dragonflies will get to enjoy Tom Hiddleston’s first-ever appearance on The Graham Norton Show. The show has been pre-taped and it will air tonight in the UK. BBC America has us on a one-week delay, so American Dragonflies will probably just have to look it up online. Shockingly, I can’t find any advanced clips online from the BBC. They’re keeping a tight lid on the Hiddles. The Hiddles is valuable!

Anyway, we already know the other guests – Tommy got to sit on the couch with his friend/mentor Kenneth Branagh, plus Robert DeNiro and Anne Hathaway. Hiddles was apparently fan-boying DeNiro about Heat, which to be fair is an excellent movie. DeNiro was game for it too, answering Hiddleston’s questions. Tom was asked (by Graham, I would guess) about dropping trou for Crimson Peak. Tom said: “I was happy to do it. In many of these situations it is the woman who is more naked and we wanted to re-dress the balance.” That goes along with what he’s said previously, that he took off his trousers for equality. Bless.

Update: THERE IS VIDEO NOW.

And we are happy that you did.

  2. feebee says:

    He’s happy, we’re happy, everyone’s happy!!

  3. Nina says:

Does there really need to be a new post every single time he talks about being naked?

  4. Browniecakes says:

Can”t wait to see GN! What is Brannaugh promoting? Cindy DVD?

    • Lilacflowers says:

Possibly but he’s doing theater, starting this month, with Judi Dench and his own theater troupe in London,

  5. vauvert says:

Damn, he did that in a movie I won’t see. Even for Tom, I am not watching a horror movie, no matter how artistic, beautiful and romantic…

    • Lilacflowers says:

With the exception of The Muppets, War Horse, Midnight in Paris, and the Marvel films, he has bared his butt in quite a few films.

      • Sochan says:

I mentioned last night in the previous thread that I just watched Archipelago. His butt makes a brief appearance in that too. In my experience this is par for the course in European movies.

      • NUTBALLS says:

He has a skinny dipping scene in Unrelated.

      • p'enny says:

time Loki got naked… why should Thor have all the topless wet action mmmmm

      • Lilacflowers says:

Point is Tom gets naked in about half his films. (DBS focused a whole scene on his butt) He’s such a feminist.

    • jammypants says:

      Watch High-Rise instead 😉

  6. Vesta says:

I was already getting ready to ride, but then I saw that rhinestone cowboy… Oh well.

    • Brittney B. says:

      Right?!

Totally killed the momentum of the article/suit pictures. Like pouring a gallon of water over a flickering candle.

    • NUTBALLS says:

This is when his willingness to get nekkid compensates for the rhinestone suit. I’d let him keep his hat and boots on, but that’s it.

    • Chloe says:

I’m going to have the “Like a Rhinestone Cowboy” earworm all day now…

  7. Brittney B. says:

Oh my god, when I looked at the first picture I didn’t even see Tom… I just thought “ahhh! why did Jason Bateman grow a beard and dye his hair and age ten years overnight?!”

  8. Lilacflowers says:

And my darling husband Tom brings manspreading to the Graham Norton show, as only he can.

We’re ready for the weekend. Veranda guests will be able to step inside to avoid the wet weather. Colin has set up amble stores of beverages and food so just let him know what you want.

Tom will gladly spend the weekend explaining why he’s naked in three movies this fall – for equality. He’s a feminist.

Those down in the meadow, Mark has made arrangements for you to seek shelter in the old barn. The vending machines have been moved and the drones will make deliveries outside the door. Please, no violence.

  9. Boston Green Eyes says:

I just love a man in a suit! And Lord Dragonfly does not disappoint!

  10. L says:

When he says he’s getting naked…butt or full frontal? Both?? I need to know for science…

(At comic con Chris Hardwick asked GDT if we’d see “Loki’s pokey stick” and GDT nodded, but was he kidding?? I can’t wait two weeks!)

    • NUTBALLS says:

Those who’ve seen early screenings of CP say we don’t, just the Hiddlebum. He’s really not achieved true balance and equality until he goes Full McGregor.

Graham Norton’s site says we’ll see the video shortly after broadcast, so crossing fingers that Yanks will see it this evening.

      http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b06g0rkh

    • Lilacflowers says:

The reports from those who have seen both CP and High-Rise are butt only.

    • Phoebe says:

According to fan reports from various film festivals- at least in CP and High Rise- it’s just Hiddlesass, no Conda. High Rise includes a shower scene though, so I imagine we’ll get a full from-behind body shot of wet Tom and that is FINE BY ME! God, I hope that movie get a US distributor soon.

      • et alors says:

Sorry, Phoebe, I’ve read that it’s only chest-up shots for the shower scenes (plural).

Also, Lilacflowers, I think the report of nudity in ISTL was a mistake on the part of the Vulture reporter that’s been taken as fact, so it’s just two movies, not three. None of the spoilers I’ve read from people who have actually seen ISTL mention nudity, not even by the woman in the fur coat.

      • neutral says:

You mean it wasn’t a case of fur coat no knickers after all? 🙂

      • jammypants says:

Actually you see her tits, the woman in the fur coat. Hank had on clothes though.

      • et alors says:

Ah, thanks, jammypants. One of the reviews I read said there wasn’t nudity, but I guess she was just referring to Tom. I guess that accounts for the R rating ISTL received, along with the language. I thought for sure it would get a PG-13 to appeal to a broader audience.

      • jammypants says:

@et alors? really? when I went, at least from what I remember, it was PG-13. It’s currently unrated by the MPAA. They didn’t show any obvious drug usage and there wasn’t even a sex scene, just kissing or fondling.

      • et alors says:

@jammypants, I saw a post about it this morning on the insanely-smart Tumblr page, but I didn’t check to see if it was sourced.

      • TotallyBiased says:

Perhaps there is confusion due to Crimson Peak getting an R rating? I would expect High Rise to get the same, but NOT I Saw the Light–can’t imagine SPC distributing an R rated film.

      • Dara says:

@jammy – how much swearing was there in ISTL? It’s a silly rule, but I vaguely remember that the US ratings board has hard limits for certain four-letter words, otherwise it’s straight to R-town, do not pass go, do not collect $200.

The director of the first Bourne film talked about it in the DVD commentary – even with all of the violence, if the hero said “f*ck” more than once they could have kissed their box-office-friendly pg-13 rating goodbye. I think they even had meetings about where/when to use it in the script to best effect.

      • waitwhat says:

@jammy @et alors @TB @dara – I think I counted about 4 instances of “f@ck” in ISTL. It was 14A in Ontario for TIFF, but that doesn’t equate to PG-13. As for SPC – OLLA and Whiplash both had R ratings for language. So they have no problem with it.

  11. Solanacaea (Nighty) says:

He can get naked anytime he wihes, though I’d prfer him to get naked in my bedroom, livingroom, kitchen… everywhere…

  12. M.A.F. says:

And I Thomas will be happy to watch.

  13. wrinkled says:

Meh. It’s only his butt. Wake me when he goes full frontal.

    • Leah says:

I agree it would be worth the headlines if we were able to get a good look at the Buckingham phallus. His butt is quite a sight though. Round and high and perfect.

  14. j.eyre says:

Oh my stars, look how happy he is in all his fringy, blindingly white, large hatted brilliance. You just know after the director yelled cut, Fiddles hid from the costume folk so he could wear it just a little longer. And I bet he did a little shimmy from time to time just to seed the “fringe dance.”

  15. koko says:

I wish I had that much courage to get “nekked” in front of all those people on set only to be seen by millions of people in the theater. The fewer the better for me.

  16. Sochan says:

I don’t get why this is a thing still being talked about to promote his movie. Are the reviews bad? Is that why he’s stuck with the nudity angle? Tom’s been naked in a lot of movies. Nothing new here.

    • Kell says:

If I had to guess, they spent too much money on it (budget+marketing) and are nervous about recouping.

Test screenings weren’t all raves, and since then, they’ve had an endorsement for buzz from Stephen King and a screening at a small niche film fest which was sure to be friendly to it. These are usually the moves you make if you’re worried about box office and don’t think the reviews are going to be enough to buoy it.

  17. seesittellsit says:

Unless I’m mistaken, it’s only Tom’s butt on display, and we’ve already seen quite a few other male stars’ butts, so it’s hardly crossing some sort of Rubicon for Toddles. On the other hand, quite a few actresses have been going full frontal, and breast exposure is at this point nearly a contractual must. But the number of male stars doing full frontal, which is what I call “naked” is still very small: Fassbender (who was only too happy to display his admittedly generous equipment in “Shame”), Mortensen in “Eastern Promises”, one quick flash of Affleck in “Gone Girl” that was gone nearly as soon as the frame came up, and of course there’s Farrell’s notorious sex tape, and there are some photos of Tom Hardy full frontal somewhere. But that’s about it.

Toddles can talk about “going naked” when he goes full frontal the way, e.g., Alicia Vikander and the other androids had to do in “Ex Machina” recently.

    • Camil says:

Maybe he’s trying to send a message: “I don’t have any problem to appear completely naked in a movie, so scripts that requires my hiddlesconda are welcome” xD

      But, who knows? xD

    • Betti says:

Tom Hardy did full frontal for Stuart a Life Backwards, admittedly he’s running around with a knife on a drug fueled bender. That movie just makes me cry – its so sad.

      • seesittellsit says:

True – and Mortensen’s turn was that ghastly sauna scene where he fights off the two Chechen thugs – full frontal or no I had to look through my fingers. I do believe in his salad days, Daniel Craig has a full frontal from some film, I’ve seen the screencap but can’t remember the film.

      • Miss Jupitero says:

Jeremy Irons in Damage did full frontal. Nothing sexy about the scene though– his character is running down the stairs where his son has fallen to his death.

Harvey Keitel in the Piano. About as anti-erotic as full frontal can get I have to say.

These and Mortensen’s scene in EP are what I would call brief flashes, painstakingly serving the plot, nothing gratuitous– not at all comparable to the female naked scenes in, say, GOT.

    • p'enny says:

Ewan McGregor! at one point he insisted it was in his contract…

    • et alors says:

Don’t forget the skinny dipping scene with a very young Rupert Graves and Julian Sands in A Room with a View. I’m pretty sure Rupert Graves went full frontal in another movie as well.

    • Elizabeth says:

James Purefoy in Rome. Apparently, he’s quite impressive.

    • Liza says:

@seesittellsit: yep. I get he’s trying to be cute, but the whole me showing my butt is somehow equality/feminism is annoyingly flippant when you consider how differently we treat male and female nudity on screen. It’s actually kind of a serious issue. Joke once, okay, but stop now please.

  18. Camil says:

The last photo of Tom in white suit is adorable.

  19. neutral says:

Of course, if a male appears full frontal would that alter the rating of the film?

  20. et alors says:

So far, so good on the reception HR is getting at LFF. I’ve seen a handful of tweets from journalists who’ve just seen it, and they seem to love it, especially Robbie Collin from Telegraph.

    https://twitter.com/robbiereviews/status/649966201460928512

    • NUTBALLS says:

Since Ballard and Wheatley are Brits, that’s what I would expect.

I thought LFF started next Wednesday. Why are there advance screenings?

      • et alors says:

Neil Young (Jigsaw Lounge) hated it when he saw it at one of the recent European festivals, and he’s a big Ballard *and* TH fan. I don’t expect there to be consensus on the film even with a potentially more receptive European audience.

Not sure about advance screenings, but another journalist mentioned that this was a general screening, with the press screening taking place on Thursday.

      • Gingerly says:

As fans have much higher expectations than general audience it could be much more difficult to satisfy them. I have read some reviewers who are angry with HR because the film does not emphasize the aspects they think important.

  21. Ginger says:

Bless you Tom!!! Another reason I’m looking forward to that film. 😄

  22. et alors says:

Ooh, six minute video posted by TGNS!

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mfT-UZCA6Tg

  23. jammypants says:

Didn’t Tom already do full frontal in Unrelated? I mean you see his bits even in the grainy cam, night shot.

Just google: “tom hiddleston unrelated pool scene”, click on the fourth picture, then when the tumbnails show up, click on the first image, second row *cough*

    He’s a big boy 😉

  24. Elizabeth says:

I wont know how thankful I’ll be until I see the movie. He looks a little slim for my taste – I like sturdier-looking men.

    • icerose says:

it’s tall slender men for me-but watch him in Coriolanus and sturdiness is not a problem nor his fitness and speed.

  25. Umila says:

And I am happy you are happy for this *great* sacrifice, sir. 🙂 If my husband gets to oogle Cuoco, this will be my equivalent indulgence to drive him crazy. For whatever reason, I’m trying to picture him with what Hemsworth was packing in Vacation. lol

  26. TotallyBiased says:

I do look forward to the day the Hiddlestoners is unleashed in full glory (and with greater visibility than in the much ‘rewound’/scene in Unrelated.)
But until then, I am MORE than happy to support Tom’s efforts at equal butt time. Or any portion of his anatomy, really, from abs to eyes. His physical body is just one part of his acting tool kit–and IMO he uses EVERY tool in his kit to great effect!

  27. DT says:

Graham Norton show was hilarious, Tommy didn’t disappoint although I was cringing slightly at some impressions and he looked amazing as usual BUT as I mentioned on another thread his face looks very different to me, I think he may have had work done. I didn’t want to believe it and I’m not an expert on plastic surgery but maybe botox or fillers or something…..he looked very tight to me. I love his wrinkles and in photos they are still prominent but is make up for television really that good? I don’t know maybe I’m seeing things…… he has some mighty fine legs though omg he is so tall! All in all a nice way to end a Friday night Anne Hathaway sort of faded into the background surrounded by De Niro, Branagh and our boy. I can’t stand her I think she’s quite rude as well cuts people off when they are talking…. ugh I hate her.

    • jammypants says:

I don’t think he had work done. He filled out. It really hit me when I looked at an old D23 pic of him (2013) and saw him now, his face is less bony looking. He just has more meat on him, imo.

    • Gingerly says:

He seems to gain weight recently – I mean, within these 2 weeks. Even in some of TIFF pics, his face has that sharpness. I can see that his neck is much thicker than before.

    • Beach girl says:

I’ve been wondering for awhile about his face. Definitely a photo facial to smooth out skin but he looks softer under the eyes, no darkness. I dont think it’s all make up and weight gain. Doesn’t really matter since they all do something to maintain looks. Actually all I care about are those spidey legs..,,,

      • Allegra says:

I don´t know, to me he just gained a little weight.
Look this pic that someone took outside BBC 2 yesterday. He looks the same, maybe a little tired:
        twitter.com/Loki_Page/status/649816061051731968
And from this, you can see how he changed over the last 10 years:
        twitter.com/twhiddleeston/status/649590980425990144

      • Dara says:

Here’s a practical question – what kind of “work” are we talking about that will get rid of dark circles? I have them and I desperately want to give them away to first passing stranger, but I can’t get rid of them.

Also, what’s a “photo facial”? Are we talking acid peel, micro-derm or something else? I don’t think botox or fillers are for me, I’m still relatively wrinkle free, but I’m not liking how the texture of my skin is changing as I get older. Regular old moisturizers just don’t seem to cut it any more.

      • Miss Jupitero says:

Photo ga ials are for hyperpigmentation, aren’t they? If he is getting that to address sundamage, he is making a good choice. I don’t think he has enough wrinkling for both or fillers to make sense.

      • Bea says:

@Dara wrinkle free is exactly when you should get botox if you plan on getting it, It’s not curative, it’s preventative! I also get dark circles, derm recommended some sort of a calcium based filler mixture for immediate results but for now a combo of Retin-A and Clinique’s orange-y line worked fairly well for me. I’m such a Retin-A fangirl, I go full Tommy whenever someone asks about it.

  28. Ladytron2000 says:

He should have done an impersonation of Anne H., but that might have been a bit too META for even TommyAnne!

  29. KTE says:

I agree. If you compare to older photos you can see that the shape of his face has gone back to how it was, only he is not so baby-faced now he has aged a bit.

I enjoyed the show, it’s a shame he couldn’t relax a bit but he must have been very keyed up – they didn’t show it but audience reports were that he played and sang some of Hank’s music. That must have had the adrenaline pumping, as well as meeting De Niro.

    • Gingerly says:

Oh, he did sing indeed! I was wondering about it. I saw only the you tube clips, but he looked like an overly excited tall happy puppy. His hyper-excitement is understandable though.

  30. Annaliese says:

Lord. Watching that clip, I kept yelling, “Tom! SHUT UP!”

But he was literally bouncing with eagerness when Norton started talking about impressions: “Pick me! Pick me! I can do it! Pick me!” Actor as Jack Russell Terrier, honestly.

    • TotallyBiased says:

SO obviously a set up! No surprises here, I’m quite sure DeNiro was told exactly what was going down well in advance. Perhaps he made Hiddleston do a bit for him before they even went out there, to ensure he wouldn’t find it so bad it was embarrassing.

    • Miss Jupitero says:

I think this is his weakness. It used to annoy me, but I think I understand him a little more these days and just wish him well. He really, really, really, REALLY wants to be an actor, and no matter where his accomplishments are, I think he feels like the noob in any room and can’t help himself. Honestly I think I understand that. When you think about where this might be coming from, how can you not feel some sympathy for him?

      • NUTBALLS says:

Yeah, I think you’re right, Miss J. He’s the excitable, piddling puppy and particularly in the presence of DeNiro (they were all fangirling him, actually), he couldn’t contain his enthusiasm. I thought his babbling over the Hiddlestoner’s question was funny. He’s rarely at a loss for words, but couldn’t get his canned answer to come out smoothly, he was so nervous.

I would have enjoyed seeing the singing segment. That’s the one thing I was hoping we might see while he’s promoting — a few samples of his playing and singing HW songs.

PS, I liked his Pacino better than his DeNiro.
PPS: Thanks for the Hola tip, et alors.

    • Lilacflowers says:

If you watch the entire show, he sits rather quietly through most of Norton’s interview with DeNiro and a long segment with Anne Hathaway and Branagh talking about his theater plans before it is his turn. Norton did tease him a bit about being a fanboy for DeNiro and put him on the spot with the question about the fandom, which he did describe rather accurately. Norton usually asks anyone who can perform impressions to do impressions of whoever is on the couch that night. He has made no secret of his admiration for DeNiro over the years. DeNiro seemed to be enjoying it and reassured him at several points. And Branagh paid him quite a few compliments, including holding him up with DeNiro as being the two most prepared actors he has directed – and that had to feel really good.

      • NUTBALLS says:

That was my take as well. Tom sat politely until called upon. Branagh chattered on as much as Tom, but Ken’s personality comes off differently. I really enjoyed the Frankenstein bit.

The lineup was really perfect with his idol, his mentor and the original AnnE all sharing the sofa with him.

Now I want to see him on Chatty Man again… is that still on?

      • et alors says:

I really enjoyed all four guests. @Lilacflowers, I loved that little aside from Ken about how Tom and De Niro take their craft so seriously. Anne was cute, and the red chair bit at the end was sweet. De Niro was De Niro, but I thought he seemed the most engaged when he was talking with Tom about the cafe scene. De Niro has said before that he likes giving advice to other actors, and I’m sure he’s used to receiving adulation from them. I loved how Graham Norton was giving Tom a hard time throughout, though.

Tom was very obviously nervous, what with the constant thumb-twiddling, leg-rubbing, tie-fiddling, and pulling of the hair, but I would be, too, if I met one of my idols. I think he even acknowledged that he would be kind of a mess at the beginning of the show when he was shaking De Niro’s hand. I thought he was endearing, Ken was funny with his dirty jokes, Anne was natural and not cloying for the most part, and De Niro wasn’t checked out like in other interviews. I giggled throughout most of the show.

      • Lilacflowers says:

@et alors, I thought Anne’s criticism of her own voice when compared to Tom’s and Branagh’s was really funny.

      • et alors says:

@Lilacflowers, I replayed that part a couple times because I never realized that she *does* have a somewhat squeaky voice.

    • gure says:

It was too embarrassing to watch.

      • guest says:

THIS. Sorry, but it WAS embarassing….. It was so embarassing that I had to switch the channel. No hate, really, I like the guy, but he was way too fanboyish.

  31. Madly says:

His face looks bloaty and is he always this over eager? He spoke more than anyone else.

    • Allegra says:

He will play a soldier in that King Kong movie, so he needs to gain weight and muscles for his next role.
I think Tom was nervous. De Niro e that question about his fans was to much to handle it.

      • madly says:

He might have been. I’ve never seen him stumble over an answer like that before.

PS, I have a three week old niece who also has the name Allegra.

      • Allegra says:

That question was tough. He couldn’t lie and say all his fans were nice and great, not after all those hard times they gave to him. I really felt bad for him. The bright side is that he finally met one of his idols, De Niro.

P.S: Hope that this name bring so much Joy and happiness to your niece.

      • Madly says:

I hope she does. Right now, a few people have laughed when I said her name because they wonder if she was named after medicine.

      • Dara says:

@Madly – you tell those silly people to hush if they laugh! Allegra is a beautiful name – it’s one of my favorites. @Allegra, if that is truly your legal name then I am all kinds of jealous. If you picked it as an alias for CB – well, then you have excellent taste, so you are awesome either way you choose to look at it.

      • madly says:

Thanks @Dara, that is really sweet of you to say.

      • Allegra says:

        @ madly:
Like Dara said people can be siily and also ignorant. Next time, when someone asks you niece´s name, tell then first the meaning of her name and then the name. I bet they will say that your sister or brother made a good choice.

        @ Dara:
Thank you, but It is alias. My real name is hard to pronounce and also to write. Since i was a litlle kid, I had to spell it.

    • KTE says:

Re: putting on weight in the last couple of weeks/looking ‘bloaty’, I reckon he might be in the bulking phase of building muscle. You bulk, so you have the fat stores you need to build muscle, then you train to build the muscles, then you lean up again to show them off.

  32. Chef Grace says:

sometimes…I just want him to hush and sit back and ooze his man sex.

    • KTE says:

He is normally much more relaxed and laid-back during interviews. He usually sells the impressions and his antics because of the confidence he projects while doing them, without that they were a little bit cringey to watch.

He came across as very sweet and well-meaning, though. I think one of the reasons he tends to handle interactions with fans well is that he does understand how they’re feeling when he meets them.

  33. et alors says:

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau tweeted the YouTube link of Tom’s impressions, and Devon Sawa tweeted this: Tom Hiddleston’s impressions just had me smiling from ear to ear, for a few solid minutes. Thought that was cute.

    • Allegra says:

      @et alors:

Glad to hear that. Good to know that people are not laughing of him or thinks that he is joke.

      • KTE says:

If Twitter is anything to go by a few people found it cringey/ too much, but most people seem to have enjoyed it.

The nature of these shows is that the filming goes on for a lot longer than we see, and it is then edited down to the ‘best’ bits. So we got quite a concentrated burst of impressions in an hour’s show, which in real life would likely have been filmed across a few hours. He surely spent longer talking about Crimson Peak than we saw, as well as talking about I Saw The Light and playing/singing.

The show producers decided to put the nervous fangirling and impressions in rather than more film talk, presumably because they thought it was the most entertaining, but it slightly skews the audience’s perception of him.

@Allegra, you might like these random tweets. Kevin “Dot Com” Brown of 30 Rock fame said Tom’s impressions were spot on, and as I LOVED Zeffirelli’s Romeo and Juliet, I got a tickle out of seeing Olivia Hussey retweeting one of the news articles and commenting that she enjoyed the video.

@KTE, I agree with you about the pacing of the show. Like Lilacflowers said a couple threads up, Tom was quiet through much of the show until it was his turn. It was obvious that he knew he’d be doing those impressions, although it looked like his nerves got the best of him, but having a 6-minute stretch of him doing impressions made it seem as if he were hogging the limelight. Also, someone who went to the show said Tom sang Elton John in addition to the Hank Williams song, but I guess they wanted to focus on Crimson Peak.

As for those people who tweeted or posted that they could do better impressions than him, my response to most of them is, “Sure, Jan.”

Allegra The haters will always find something to criticise. I’m sure Tom was told to do the impressions on the show.

Looks like someone bump into Tom yesterday and called him a legend actor:

Oh my God,I don’t think I’ve ever seen TH at a loss for words before in an interview.. It’s hilarious….

Anastasia Brown (Nashville-based Film/TV music supervisor) is tweeting that Tom will perform on the Grand Ole Opry on Nov. 27th, ISTL’s release date.

I hope it’s true — that’s a big deal to play the same radio show that Hank did. For those of you not familiar with the Opry, here’s a little primer for the show that’s synonymous with Country Music:

CP is visually stunning but the story is meh. Chastain is definitely the standout, although Tom is good. It’s worth seeing but I wouldn’t expect like all stellar critic reviews.

I’ve read the script when it first leaked and it was such a bad story, I was hoping they would have improved it with all the rewrites.

  38. neutral says:

Just read the comments on the DM website about the GNS and they are pretty universally slagging Tom off I’m afraid.

    • Arya says:

I did read that too and it kind of make me feel bad for him…thought I agree that he was cringeworthy.

I think the whole show wasn’t that embarassing for Tom it all but Norton edited it out that Tom could look like a complete fool and an upstart.
