    • mimif says:

Mine. He is so damn polite to that pap!

      • Miss M says:

Mimifbouche, you are a bit late for this train. It departured at least 3 years ago… πŸ™‚
He was super polite with the pap. It is always a good day when there is a Hunnam post. I can’t wait to see him as King Arthur! (And in the lost city of z too).

      • mimif says:

        Sassy little penguin! 😜

    • Zapp Brannigan says:

Can I borrow him for a while, I promise not to break him.

      • Miss M says:

Zapp, you may! See Mimif?! Learn with Zapp! πŸ˜‚

      • mimif says:

Damn, I am getting schooled today.

*kicks rocks and refuses to ask if she can play*

      • Miss M says:

Mimifbouche, in the spirit of the recent holiday (that I usually don’t celebrate), I am sending the Hunnam train your way. Please, make sure you send him back and feed him well. We all need his Godly butt in shape!

      • mimifbouche says:

        Sweetest penguin ever! πŸ˜πŸš‚πŸ—πŸ’ͺ🏼

    • kennedy says:

I think you’re lovely but I will fight you for him! He’s mine mine mine!

      • Miss M says:

        Thanks Mimif!

@Kennedy: I know your type… you come in schmoozing…then, bam! Try to snatch my man?! I shall sleep with one eye open! I am all about world peace. *sharpening shank*

      • antipodean says:

Please, not the return of the dreaded shank! Anything but that. Sleeping with one eye open is always a good idea when others have designs on your man though. Good one Miss M!

      • Miss M says:

Like i said, i am a peaceful person.
        😜

  2. Bettyrose says:

145 pounds?? Isn’t he over 6 feet tall and muscular? What happens to your muscles when you lose that kind of weight? Serious question.

    • mimif says:

Your body uses them for fuel. No Bueno.

    • Who ARE these people? says:

No bueno, si es verdad. Puts the body in a bad metabolic state. And it can be harder to gain than lose weight, which 99% of people will find hard to believe. I hope he’s had medical supervision. You shouldn’t have to hurt your health for your art.

      • mimif says:

And does a number on you mentally as well. Reminds me of the Minnesota Starvation Experiment, those boys were altered for life (not to mention the people they were actually trying to help).

      • Cindy says:

        @mimf
What experiment are you talking about? I’m off to google. That sounds very scary. Kinda like the Stanford prison experiments, but a different kinda scary.

I agree with all the posters above. This is a really f*d up thing to do to your body .

      • mimif says:

No it was a really cool thing actually, and the results are still used today to treat eating disorders. Research and report back!

      • Cindy says:

ie Minnesota Starvation Experiment- wow. The study subjects had guts. And for an entire year….sounds like only two or there dropped out, too. Kind of fascinating about the psychological effects, food obsession, wanting to eat in quiet, being argumantative etc. Gives an idea of what the concentration camp survivors really went through in terms of lang term malnutrition. As well as anorexics.

      • mimif says:

Yeah it’s pretty amazing. My mother worked for a woman whom both parents survived the concentration camps, and the stories she told us were utterly….gut wrenching, for lack of a better term. What really struck out to me about the experiment was how incredibly guilty the subjects who cheated felt. Like thoughts of suicide over sneaking a banana. The whole thing is such a mind f-ck and a huge testament to how interrelated the body and mind really are.

Every time I see a new SW trailer, I become less and less interested in the film. Also, the lead actress in the movie , her acting looks terrible. Her acting seems so wooden and dull. Ugh another no-talent in SW.

    • EN says:

That is what I keep saying too. The lead actress has no acting skills by the looks of it.
      Everybody else is fine.
Why do they so often pick a bad lead for SW, while hiring good actors for supporting roles.

      • Betti says:

EN – Agree thou JJ (and everyone else in HW) has a history of hiring one female lead based on her looks. See Alice Eve in Star Trek Into Darkness – the character was pure fluff and Eve’s acting was prancing around looking pretty. Same with Liv Tyler in Armageddon. IMHO Ridley was cast purely on her resemblance to a young Keira Knightly/Natalie Portman – she doesn’t have a lot of professional acting experience other than a few bit parts and it doesn’t look like she went to drama school either which is the normal route for kids who go to stage schools.

Its not a good start when you are outclassed by your cast mates in a trailer. But regardless she will be forever known as the SW girl and make a fortune of it.

Thou in the original trilogy all 3 leads were experienced actors – thou Hamill was the weaker actor when you look back. Shame about Fisher as she was very talented and could have gone far but her demons got the better of her.

      • EN says:

        > Shame about Fisher as she was very talented and could have gone far but her demons got the better of her.

I really liked Fisher. He portrayed a strong female character really well . You could see there was substance there behind those eyes.

That is the mistake often made with female actresses – they don’t need just looks, they need brains and substance too. All the best actresses have that these days.

The days of Pretty Woman are gone.

    • word says:

It’s her first acting role. I saw an interview with the cast just this week.

Yeah, this movie is way too over-hyped. We have been hearing about it for 2 years now. Why not just put a movie out and let people decide if it’s good? No, they brainwash you 2 years before it comes out that it will be a huge blockbuster lol stop it.

  4. EN says:

145 lb for Hunnum is very low.
Skinny is not his type, he has a lot of muscle.
He must’ve starved himself for it.

Several actors messed up their bodies and looks with losing/ gaining weight. I don’t like when they do that.

I think he would’ve been fine just like he was. They had Brad Pitt for this movie originally. Brad is not skinny either.

    • mimif says:

I remember Mila Kunis saying she completely f-cked her metabolism after Black Swan, and the weight she gained back all went to her mid-section.

  5. Tiny Martian says:

Charlie’s yummy. He shouldn’t risk that beautiful bod, but this is what actors do.

Robert Pattinson was in LCOZ as well, and showed up after the jungle shoot was finished looking pretty emaciated. Wondering what he weighed in at, as he wasn’t exactly beefy to begin with!

  6. sills says:

Hunnam, Ejiofor, Elba, the Rock… A lot of good-looking dudes on the front page today. Thanks CB for throwing us a little Hot Guy Friday bone.

  7. Word says:

    Trump is such a loser.

  8. Nicolette says:

Well hello Mr. Hunnam! How lovely that he was the first thing I saw coming on this site.

  9. browniecakes says:

What am I grateful for? A Hunnam post. Wonder what is next for him to do. Meanwhile I’ll be looking for his Dyna on the LA roads.

  10. Wentworth Miller says:

  11. What's inside says:

There was some amazing information here today. Thank you all!

  12. Ally8 says:

I’m reading Lost City of Z right now, so I”m curious about how they’re going to structure the story on film. I hope not just a classic back and forth in time Γ  la Possession. Also, did they just “youthify” everyone to make it appealing? Fawcett was 57 on his last trek into the jungle, never mind the 145 pounds.
