First look at Tom Hiddleston in AMC’s ‘The Night Manager’: hot or not?

Tom Hiddleston had a mostly quiet 2015. He was everywhere in September and October, but the rest of the year was spent quietly working on back-to-back projects. He spent months filming The Night Manager in Europe earlier this year, and it will likely be one of the big highlights for the Dragonflies/Hiddlestoners in 2016. The Night Manager airs in America and the UK in April – here in America, it will air on AMC, and in the UK, it will be on BBC One. So, a little advanced promotion then? In this week’s “preview of 2016” issue (with Benedict Strange on the cover), EW published the “first look” at The Night Manager – that’s the above photo. Plus, some quotes from Hiddles:

From the moment John le Carré’s The Night Manager was published in 1993, producers have tried to bring the spy master’s tale about arms dealing to the big screen. Robert Towne (Chinatown) penned an adaptation for Sydney Pollack to direct, and in 2009 Brad Pitt’s company, Plan B, optioned the novel. But a film never materialized, and for good reason: time constraints. “This is a fabulous book,” says le Carré’s son, Night Manager exec producer Simon Cornwell. “It’s got a vast scope to it. It just doesn’t fit into two hours.”

The story is finally getting what it deserves as a six-episode miniseries that will air on the BBC in the U.K. and on AMC this April, starring Tom Hiddleston as MI-6 field agent and strong-silent type Jonathan Pine and Hugh Laurie as Richard Roper, a morally ambiguous weapons dealer whom Pine is tasked with bringing down.

“The best way I can describe the story is the thriller equivalent of a bromance,” says exec producer Stephen Garrett (Eastern Promises).

That isn’t to say that The Night Manager is female-free — updating the story for 2016, the producers gender-flipped the role of Pine’s MI-6 handler, Leonard Burr, into Angela Burr (Olivia Colman). Interestingly enough, after Colman won the role, she informed producers that she was pregnant and would be throughout filming, but instead of hiding the baby bump or potentially recasting, the scripts were retooled to make Burr a mother-to-be.

Fittingly, Hiddleston and Laurie formed a bromance of their own during the project’s development and over the course of the intensive 75-day shoot, which took them to Morocco, Majorca, Switzerland, and London.

“[Laurie] can’t address me by my real name,” Hiddleston says. “I sign off emails to him as ‘Pine,’ and he addresses me as ‘Pine.’ I don’t know why, but it makes us laugh.”

[From EW]

I really enjoy John le Carre adaptations – I think le Carre’s work shows the realities of diplomatic and espionage work, unlike the Jason Bournes and James Bonds of the world. That being said, I’m expecting The Night Manager to be really complicated and hard-to-follow. Also: Game of Thrones is coming back in April, right? God, I hope The Night Manager isn’t trying to go head-to-head with GoT.

Hopefully, March/April will bring us another flurry of activity and press from Hiddles. We know I Saw the Light will finally be released in March. Maybe High Rise will get released around that time too. Perhaps Hiddles will agree to do a big American magazine cover? American GQ? Esquire? PLEASE?

Looking good and excited about this show. Glad it is a miniseries as opposed to being crammed in a two hour movie.

    • Gingerly says:

Yes, as the novel is quite long, miniseries is better. After reading TNM, I came to agree that they could not make a 2 hour film with it.

      • jammypants says:

Agreed. It’s a lot of talking, intrigue, scheming, and internal monologuing. I’m curious how they will portray those aspects of the story on the screen.

      • icerose says:

yes and more of Tom and Laurie. Not sure about the change to a pregnant contact but good on the Production team to stay with the change of sexual orientation. She is a great actress even if she annoys me in interviews.

    • Down and Out says:

I will be there for Hugh Laurie. I miss House!

  2. lilacflowers says:

Hot or not? Seriously scorching hot. And the BBC clips feature pool scenes. The complicated bits of TNM involve the behind the scenes office politics, which will involve Olivia Coleman. Tom’s part involves looking good in suits, running, swimming, bedding various people, getting beaten up, and spying on Hugh Laurie in various international locales. Not complicated but it will be fun to watch

Preparations are underway for New Year’s Eve here on the veranda and in the meadow. Colin is hoping you will all enjoy yourselves responsibly. Tom and I will be going out for dinner and some Shakespeare but will be back for the fireworks at midnight

    • Sixer says:

February can’t come soon enough. The BBC are doing their usual post-Christmas thing and drowning me in costume dramas. Mr Sixer loves costume dramas and I have to watch them all. I’ve got a Dickens skit serial, War and Peace, Agatha flipping Christie, and even Sherlock’s gone costume. Why can’t they do ONE AT A TIME?

All’s I can say is bring on the LEGS. No waxing lyrical though. That would spoil it. 😛

      • lilacflowers says:

Pine’s a man of few works. I think Hugh Laurie will be the one waxing lyrically.

Tom Hollander is in this too. Fun, fun, fun!

      • NUTBALLS says:

No need to wax lyrical if he’s bedding under the mosquito net. Or strutting around in a bomber jacket. Or showing off packed delts.

The visuals will do me just fine.

This can’t come soon enough. April is too damn long.

      • Sixer says:

I love Tom Hollander! Did you guys see him as Dylan Thomas? He was great.

      • lilacflowers says:

That should read “man of few words”, not “works” above. Yikes.

@Sixer, no, I will have to check that out too. I adore Tom Hollander. Although I can imagine TNM set could have involved lots of reminiscing about the Dragon School.

      • NUTBALLS says:

Sixer, is that Poet in New York? It came up on Amazon. I just might have to put that on the watchlist. “Rage, rage against the dying of the light” has long been a favorite line of poetry for me.

      • Sixer says:

Yes. Poet in New York. I loved it. Under Milk Wood is my favourite of all things ever. Also, there’s a sit com, Rev, he stars in. It’s all about being a vicar in an increasingly secular environment. Also lovely.

      • icerose says:

more shirtless Poldak ,Peaky Blinders and Lost Kingdom which was excellent.

And those of you who like satellite broadcasts,We went to see A Winters Tale by Kenneth Brannaghs new company last night and it was excellent. Judy Dench was electric. It relay made you see how innovative you can be with Shakespeare from the style of production to thr set

      • NUTBALLS says:

        Sixer, I’ll check them out.

icerose, I saw Winter’s Tale in the cinema and loved it. Dame Judy was wonderful. It’s great having another company giving us theatre on the big screen.

    • Poisonous Lookalike says:

Having only seen him in photographs until very recently, I didn’t really see what everyone was on about with him. Then someone here dropped a link to his recitation of the E. E. Cummings poem “may i feel said he”. *fans self*

Then I watched the first trailer for ISTL. I’m not a country music fan at all, but I may have to overcome my loathing of movie theaters to see it. Hiddleston is one glorious, glorious person.

      • lilacflowers says:

may i feel is positively sinful. And glorious.

      • Dara says:

@Poisonous – that’s how it starts you know. First, you don’t quite see the appeal or shrug and think, “he’s ok, I guess”. Then, you see and/or hear that one thing, that one special thing that blows your mind and you’re done for. For me, it was the Shakespeare. Most photos don’t really do him justice, imo. You’ve got to see and hear the man in action to really get it.

May I be the first to officially welcome you to the club. We’re usually polite, don’t take ourselves too seriously and enjoy cheeky humor. Oh, and we have snacks and adult beverages! What more could you want?

      • Phoebe says:

@poisonus- if you want to fall irrevocably in love, clear an hour in your day and watch the Nerd HQ interview from SDCC 2013. I think this is generally considered the greatest Hiddles that has ever Hiddled.

      • jammypants says:

Or the Times Talk in Madrid (or New York)

      • spidey says:

Times Talk Madrid – he was beautiful. And don’t forget Coriolanus.

      • Poisonous Lookalike says:

Thank you for the suggestions and the warm welcome to the club. I will be watching some Hiddleston tomorrow, as soon as I’m done with work. Sounds like a grand way to end a pretty crappy year and start the new one on a positive note. I have bourbon and brandy to contribute to the party.

      • icerose says:

the EE CUMMINGS i heard from people who were there was considered the best recitation of the evening and the other contributers were waxing about how much fun he was
And if you have not seen this-t is just pure lust -the first time I heard of I just could not stop.re watching and rewatching

      • Cranberry says:

Yes indeed he looked real good at Nerd HQ SDCC ’13 -The short dark hair, the big lovely smile and of course the blessed and always dependable, sheer, white dress shirt with sleeves rolled up to show his lovely hairless forearms.
Oh, Times Talk Madrid was divine with that perfectly tailored suit with top buttons left open. His skin was as fresh and smooth as a baby’s butt, and his eyes were like glass, sparkling with the light’s reflections. I know it sounds like gushing, but if you watch it you’ll see I’m not exaggerating.

      • Cranberry says:

Might I also add to the list the 2011 Thor press junket interviews and press conference in London back when he had longer hair and finally found some good product for it.
But more importantly, THE GLORIOUS, SEXY, PERFECTLY FITTED, BLACK LEATHER JACKET.

  3. antipodean says:

I can’t wait for this. I love John Le Carre books, LEGS, Hugh Laurie, Olivia Colman, and MI6. I died and went to heaven. I am sure it will be a really twisty-turny complicated story, my favourite! A bit of brain power required, excellent. Now, if I had Colin on hand to whip up some cocktails and comestibles, my spring will be perfection personified. Where can I find him, who currently has charge of him? Yoohoo, lilacflowers, are you on deck yet?

    • lilacflowers says:

See above, dear. Colin is busily making New Year’s concoctions available for you.

    • Sass says:

When I saw “The Night Manager” I thought, could it be the La Carre book? Wow, so exciting for a fan. I have read everything he wrote over the years. Can’t wait!

  4. InvaderTak says:

Hope he gets a jacket like that in real life; it looks awesome. Excited for this

  5. Sochan says:

I love, love, love thrillers. So I’ll be all over this anyway. But the cast? AWESOME.

  6. SusanneToo says:

Very nice! I’m on board for this.

  7. Gingerly says:

I love the look. Hiddles can portray Jonathan Pine very well and I think Pine can be a more interesting character in this film version than in the novel. Hugh Laurie will be perfect as Roper, and Debiki, Coleman, and Holland are all good actors. Can’t wait.

I remember reading somewhere TNM will be aired in February in UK. Happy new year to all.

    • NUTBALLS says:

Debicki was the best thing in Man from U.N.C.L.E. I’m thrilled she’s in this too.

      • antipodean says:

Elizabeth Debicki is gorgeous, and from my neck of the woods, so I am always interested to see her. I am really looking forward to “The Kettering Incident”, which was funded partly by the BBC, and shot in Tasmania. It promises to be a gripping thriller type scenario, I just hope they will Netflix or Hulu it, so I don’t have to wait too long to see it. The Tassy background will be lovely to see too, one of the most beautiful places on earth, IMHO.

      • NUTBALLS says:

That sounds like something I’d like too. Keep us posted on any news if it ends up available on VOD.

What else has she been in besides Great Gatsby that I should check out?

      • Lilacflowers says:

She had a very small part in Everest. It was nice to see her in a non-glamorous role

      • Gingerly says:

I like the fact that Tom will be humbled by Debicki’s height. It’s a rare occasion.

      • Dara says:

I feel like she and Gwen Christie would kick ass playing sisters – really, really tall sisters.

Debicki was also in the Fassbender Macbeth wasn’t she? I haven’t seen it yet, there were too many CB’ers who were put off by it that I decided to wait for DVD.

      • antipodean says:

@Dara, ED played Lady McDuff, (the wife of the legendary “lead on” chap) and was very good in the part I thought. She and Gwen Christie are very statuesque, 6ft 2″, I believe. She is definitely one to watch.

      • antipodean says:

        @Nutballs, will do!

      • NUTBALLS says:

I can’t watch Everest. I was too enchanted with the documentary Meru to settle for non-climbers doing fake climbing.

I do hope we’ll see more of her in the future and Dara, I’d too would love to see her and Gwenie doing something together… with Tom. That could be delicious.

    • jammypants says:

It’s so strange but when I read the book, Burr felt like it’s right up Holland’s alley. So imagine my surprise to learn he’s playing a bad guy. Olivia is awesome so I guess it works out.

      • Gingerly says:

But Corcoran is also a good role for Hollander. I am wondering what kind of changes were made when they made Burr a female character.

      • jammypants says:

I do find Corcoran an interesting character. He’s slimy, yet you secretly hope things work out for him because he is also charming.

I’m not sure, but the gender flip is to “modernize” the story, which is essentially very penis-driven. The female characters are caricatures of women (damsels in distress, there for sex, plot devices to drive the male characters to action). If you read the book, the male characters are very well drawn, very motivated, and complex. Then when you read about the women, it’s so disappointing how 2 dimensional they are. Le Carre seems to have no idea how to write women. I’m glad they are changing that in the series with Burr being a woman.

      • lilacflowers says:

I’m interested in seeing how they worked around Olivia’s pregnancy.

      • Dara says:

@lilac – I vaguely recall Colman mentioning they didn’t work around it, other than shooting her scenes before she was too far along to travel. I hope that means her pregnancy wasn’t concealed and Burr is actively working to take out bad guys, whilst pregnant.

      • jammypants says:

@lilac, from an interview I read, she said they made her character also pregnant so it worked out for her.

      • lilacflowers says:

But the story elapses over many months so is her character perpetually five months pregnant?

      • NUTBALLS says:

Jammy, I agree that le Carre didn’t draw the women well. It would be nice if the screenwriter made at least Jeb’s character more complex with the liberties they’re taking with the story.

  8. koko says:

I really enjoyed this book but I hope they have tooled with the ending, the book version was very abrupt and to neatly wrapped.
    And my vote, “HOT”.

  9. NUTBALLS says:

Now that we know when this will be airing, the burning question is what is Tom during after ISTL promos end in March and Ragnarok starts filming in July?

    • lilacflowers says:

I have been asking that for a while. When does Branagh film Murder on the Orient Express? There is a part or two in that he could handle. Or some small, independent British thing will happen. And another Jaguar commercial maybe. I’m hoping for a return to the stage after Thor 3.

      • icerose says:

We watched an encore and Branagh was in it and the company had two more plays but he has a second director in the company so maybe soon.I wish Tom could guest in his company but probably no time for a run

      • NUTBALLS says:

That’s what I’m hoping for too, icerose.

    • antipodean says:

Probably a bit of harmless rodgering of handy starlets I would have the temerity to suggest. After all, a chap has been working jolly hard, and deserves a bit of resting time, luvvie.

    • Anon222 says:

Hemsworth said “”We will begin shooting in June 2016 in Australia, right after that we will shoot “Avenger Part 1 and 2″ – without a break in between (for me).” Source from a German newspaper. If Tom spent March promoting his 3 projects, not enough time to slot anything (but a Jaguar commercial) in before Thor 3 starts.

      • lilacflowers says:

He could do something in April/May. He has worked back to back projects before. TDW started shooting immediately after OLLA and he shot Exhibition on two weekends while filming TDW.

      • Anon222 says:

Yes. He can do a lot of cameo in 2 months time, that’s a given. But I thought you guys are talking about a full project. And if there is a project he’ll be working on in April, it should be announcing by now. Don’t get me wrong, I love to see Tom doing a project in between Skull Island and Thor 3, I just don’t think that’s feasible. While cameo is fun, but I think his time is better spend on real projects or resting. I think Loki is likely in Infinity War, so he is potentially going to work for 9 months straight. He has a lot of work ahead of him and resting for a couple of months while also preparing for Thor’s shoot is quite reasonable.

Last year in between projects, he does High-Rise audiobook. I wish he will do more audiobook.

      • NUTBALLS says:

I too wish he’d slate in an audiobook between filming breaks. He is so enjoyable to listen to. I don’t think I would have stuck with The Red Necklace had he not been doing the narration. I certainly wouldn’t have hung to the end with High Rise had it not been for his lovely voice and poshy accent taking the edge off the depressing scenes.

      • lilacflowers says:

Some supporting roles only take a few weeks to film and often are not announced until right before filming. Example: Kevin Bacon was only announced for Black Mass when he showed up on set, weeks after filming started, and he was only on set for a week and a half.

      • Anon222 says:

I’m not saying he won’t take small role in big movie or small movie, I am guessing it won’t happen for April/May of 2016. A lot of small indie movies have very short shooting schedule, a month or so is not uncommon. Small role in big movies can be short shoot too. But It is not like he can’t handle not working for couple months between projects. He had 3 months off between ISTL & TNM. I don’t see him go out of his way to make sure he will be working straight for the whole 2016. I will be more than delighted if he can fit something in that 2 months, I just doubt that it will happen.

      • lilacflowers says:

He did several small things between ISTL & TNM. He did the audio recording of High-Rise in January and worked on the soundtrack for ISTL in London with Rodney Crowell and did an appearance at Nuffield Theatre and a Words & Music radio broadcast in February and the Attenborough memorial. The Will Shakes narration may have been done much earlier but it was released during that time too. And the trip to South Sudan was in early March as well.

      • icerose says:

Anon 222 I agree re a small role -but would much prefer something more substantial or maybe a guest in a good comedy show might be fun

  10. Phoebe says:

I imagine I’ll be watching this illegally online in February, recording it when it comes to the US in April and watching over and over and over. Just the small clips I’ve seen (and resulting gifs) get me all hot and bothered!

    • Waitwhat says:

The new ones from the BBC drama promo that came out yesterday are even hotter, if that’s possible. And I’ll probably be doing the exact same thing as you in February.

  11. suze says:

Of all LaCarre’s books, I found the Night Manager to be the most straightforward.

    • spidey says:

Could have done with being shorter though, thought Le Carre dragged it out a bit.

    • icerose says:

he was aiming for a touch of James Bond because at time his books were becoming dated in some people’s eyes.Personally I would take take Carre over Bond any time.Complex and challenging jut appeals to me nore.

  12. KTE says:

I wouldn’t begrudge him taking a break in April and May next year, since he’ll have been away from home for months for Skull Island and will be away for months for Thor, too. It’d be nice if he could slip something in, though – maybe a one-off thing like Letters Live?

    • NUTBALLS says:

      Bora Bora perhaps? 😉

    • lilacflowers says:

Most of what he did for Letters Live has been completely unavailable to anyone who was not there. And the two things that were made available weren’t the highlights of what he did, according to the professional critics.

      • icerose says:

yes but there were people on other people forums who were in the audience ,I know one of his other readings was very sexy and he went from totally in love with a women and then hatred -cannot remember who the letter was by was though, That may have been the one the critics were referring to.I wish that more had been shown as well not only from Tom but the others,,
        http://www.canongate.tv/discover/letters-live-guest-review/

      • lilacflowers says:

@icerose, he did a Marlon Brando impersonation for one letter and that is NOT available on the Letters Live website. Again, I would much prefer full stage work to another favor for Cumberbatch.

    • spidey says:

      Nutballs – behave yourself!

      • icerose says:

yes to Bora Bora but can we have some one new

      • NUTBALLS says:

But the meltdown on tumblr would be so fun to watch if it were JArthy, dontchathink?

      • waitwhat says:

Sigh. It may be EO in Bora Bora. She was spotted on the Tube today. Bleh. I just find her boring.

        https://twitter.com/staceybartlett/status/682543783083388928

      • Portia says:

At this point, I don’t think anyone of us are surprised that EO is in London for NYE. Most of us were expecting it after the Hawaii and LA sightings. Those two are seeing each other and will continue to publicly deny it until they either get serious about each other or until the infatuation wears off and they both move on to other people.
Tho I am surprised EO is taking the tube. I thought she’d take a cab or something since she’s the one who seems more concerned with keeping everything quiet. Any bets on some sneaky shots of THEO hanging about in London now that the fandom is on THEO high alert?

      • Madly says:

So yet another sighting where no one got photos? Zzzzzzzzz…..

      • NUTBALLS says:

She’d take the Tube if she wanted fans to see her there. While we can’t know if the sightings are real, a PR plant or just someone who enjoys stiring up the fans, one thing I think we can all bet on is that THEO won’t go away until after ISTL comes out… possibly longer if Marvel remains her sole employer and Infinity Wars filming begins after Ragnarok, as CHemboy has said.

      • Portia says:

If EO wanted fans to see her, she’s certainly singing a different tune than she was before with her wanting to hide and deny everything. Then again she has other friends in London that she was seen hanging out with before she was snapped with TH in July in the bike blog pic and the pap night one. She’s besties with Aaron Taylor Johnson and his wife, Sam.

As much as I’ve tried to think these two are together, their body language with each other is so uncomfortable. They look so stiff with each other, friends or bf/ gf, they just look really uncomfortable around each other. Jess C and Hayley Atwell and Lara P look like they are actually Tom’s friends. At the ISTL Nashville EO was copying Jess C so hard, I was surprised no one else noticed how she changed her personality 180 and was so unlike herself. It was too try hard.

      • Nutballs says:

Lizzy was working it hard to look as cozy and flirty with Tom as Jess did in NY. It came off as try-hard.

I would not hate a Tom-Jess pairing. They look great together. Too bad she has that *rule*.

      • Madly says:

i would enjoy a Jess/tom pairing as they seem to really enjoy eachother’s company and both seem more likable around each other. She brings out his happy dork. Plus she seems way more talented and smart. EO is just boring so I kinda get why she didn’t take off. These are prime years for her too, so her lack of work is odd. In a few short years, she won’t be considered the young love interest. She will be too long in the tooth by Hollywood standards.

      • Portia says:

Not necessarily Jess herself since she seems happy with her guy but at least someone else who Tom seems relaxed and happy around and there isn’t all this weird nonsense of are they are they not. If EO and TH are together, they honestly don’t give me any happy couple vibes. Celebs can keep their lives private but it’s hard to hide their genuine fondness of one another, especially if they’ve been friends for four years and supposedly a couple for almost a year. You’d see it in their interactions. Like how it is with good friends.

And if they are just friends well then good for them but tbh, they don’t even give off a friend vibe. Just stiff and awkward. Wonder what the deal is with that.

      • Waitwhat says:

That’s too true. Plus even if it’s a year, they still haven’t been on the same continent for most of that time, maybe two months total. Sounds like convenient hookups to me. They certainly don’t seem to have much chemistry offscreen (though it’s pretty good in ISTL).

And she’s certainly not overly busy right now.

      • Portia says:

And from all the sightings it seems like she has no trouble making time to jump on a plane to follow Tom wherever he is. Whereas he’d rather see her as part of his layover instead of making time for her. That’s what all these sightings seem to imply. Who knows the truth really.

Brace yourself for reports and sightings of EO in Oz and majority of people clamoring it’s Brie. I wonder if Brie even has scenes to shoot for Skull Island in Australia.

He could most definitely slip something in ME!

Late to the party–new job precludes celebitching during the day–but oohhh so very hot. Come to me my gorgeous Tom.

  14. ann says:

That tweets mention just see Lizzie ,just Lizzie
She did not mention to Tom even a little.
Why do people try to relate to him!

    • KTE says:

Yup. Tom hasn’t been spotted in London lately that I’ve heard, he could be staying elsewhere with family. The fact that the 2 of them are finally in the same country (or even the same city) at the same time doesn’t necessarily mean they’re together!

As for why she is getting the tube, it’s London, the tube really is the quickest way to get around. Most celebs do it without being unduly hassled, and she’s not really that famous over here so probably does it all the time without anyone recognising her.

      • Beach girl says:

There was a tweet about him being spotted alone in Oxford a few days ago. Probably seeing his father.

  15. Beach girl says:

That sighting was by someone working at a fashion/celeb UK mag. EO also had an “interview” for ISTL that was heavily retweeted at the same time. Either it’s a PR plant or it’s a real sighting. Either way this is becoming tiresome. I cringe at the thought of additional promo for ISTL by either one. Has it been confirmed she’s in IW? And Tom?

  16. anon says:

The Night Manager will be a part of AMC’s TCA presentation on Friday. I believe Hugh & Tom will both be there, although last I heard only Hugh was confirmed so I could be wrong on that. But Tom’s been doing a lot of press for the lead up to TNM, ISTL & HR since he’ll be out of the country when it first airs, so I wouldn’t be surprised. Just thought I’d mention it.

  17. NUTBALLS says:

Wow, the HR trailer post closed in 24 hours… with only 124 comments.

As to the speculation of whether Tom is in LA for the GG’s.. Did you see that JVR posted a picture of Olly and one of the production crew yesterday? I wouldn’t expect Olly to be in AU without Tom.

Bummer, I was hoping for a vision of Tuxedo Tom this Sunday.

    • NUTBALLS says:

Nevermind… I’m seeing the Twitter posts about Tom and Hugh at #TCA16.

      • Cranberry says:

The AMC TCA16 panel was in Pasadena. Oh shit! TH was actually in my neck of the woods (of forest LA). Usually he’s on the west side when he’s here cause most all Hollywood biz takes place west of the 101 frwy. He also prefers to be on or very near the beach when on extended stay. I think he used to have a flat in Venice during Thor &/or Avengers. Usually everything always happens on the west side dammit, and now he’s gone from my grasp forever. WAAAAHH!

    • Cranberry says:

Yeah, I know. What happened? I was just trying to respond to some posts and then boom, and it wasn’t even about THEO

Well at least I know I’ve got you here with me Nutty 🙂

      • NUTBALLS says:

Hi Cranberry, the tweets from TNM Panel were fun to read. Hugh and Tom were having a Charisma-Off! I wish we could get video.

ETA: HughLaurious just posted a link to some snaps:

      • Cranberry says:

Oh thank you Nutballs. Do you know if there will be a video of this panel? I can’t stand not knowing what they’re all laughing about.

      • NUTBALLS says:

No idea… I presume it will show up on social media if it’s released. Or here.

Sounds like he really charmed the panel. And he wore my favorite casual attire. He knows what I like.

Now I’m more hopeful that he might make an appearance at the Globes. Though I may miss the red carpet pre-show due to Coriolanus!

I think this is a appropriate expression for TNM and the TCA16 panel
