Chris Brown posted this ^^ Instagram over the weekend with the message: “Keeping my circle small in 2016! I’m done taking the care of grown ass men. And I’m going to be hella rich after all the lawsuits I file from these crazy individuals who keep lying on my name. Happy NEW YEAR! Time for some of us to grow the f–k up!” If you’re thinking to yourself, “My goodness, Breezy seems especially angsty,” it’s because Chris Brown is trying to do some damage control after a woman accused him of punching her in the face.
According to TMZ, the Las Vegas Police Department is currently investigating Brown for battery of Liziane Gutierrez. The alleged assault went down at the Palms Hotel early Saturday morning. Chris and his entourage were partying with some ladies, and Gutierrez allegedly got into the party and somehow snuck in her cellphone (the ladies were being asked to give up their phones because what happens in Vegas, etc). When Gutierrez took some photos of Brown, he got in her face, yelled at her, grabbed her phone and punched her in her right eye. Allegedly. Gutierrez did not go to the hospital, but did go to the cops a few hours later. When the cops showed up at Brown’s suite at the Palms, “they were not allowed in the room but later determined he wasn’t there anymore. At this time they have not heard from the singer and their official report is for misdemeanor theft (for the phone) and battery.”
Brown’s rep is denying the whole thing took place. Brown’s rep ran to People Magazine to say that Gutierrez’s claims are “unequivocally untrue” and that she was “escorted out of the hotel by security” because of her “wild behavior” while allegedly having a “total meltdown…Her claim that she had her phone in her possession inside the after party and was able to take a photo causing an altercation with Chris Brown is a complete fabrication. This seems like a clear case of retaliation for her bruised ego.” But, as I said, the LVPD is still investigating Brown for misdemeanor battery and theft. And they would really like to speak to him, especially considering his history of violence.
And because Chris Brown is his own worst enemy and he has the instincts of a 4-year-old on a sugar high, he posted and then deleted a video in which he called Gutierrez “old” and “dusty” and says that she was probably “too ugly to get in” to his party. Much classy, Breezy.

I don’t like Chris at all, but this claim seems bogus from what I’ve read, an aging groupie who makes outlandish claims when not included and mad, like the stunt she pulled about Jason Derulo.
She made a scene at the hotel after being kicked out. If she had been hit, why wouldn’t she call the cops there? She’s not the shy type. That’s for sure after watching the Jason Derulo thing. She probably left and during those few hours got herself a black eye from some other way on purpose and then went to the cops so she could sue and make money.
This is the most misogynistic thing I’ve read all day…but it’s early.

@FLORC. I’m certainly not justifying an abusive man. In light of her recent situation with Jason Derulo, maybe she does have an ulterior motive. It’s entirely possible. For the record: I couldn’t even name a Chris Brown song, I’m too old.
Well he got off lightly for it before on a much higher profile case, and with no major affect on his career (performed at the Grammys, still invited onto talk shows etc) at all so his attitude matches with that,even if she is making it up, not an ounce of humility has this knobcheese shown, ever.

I agree. I do think Breezy would do well to realize that if he’s going to talk up maturity and protecting himself, he might stop hiring prostitutes to attend his parties. Seems like common sense to me, but…..this is Chris Brown we’re talking about.
I know I hate to defend Chris Brown who definitely hasn’t changed since that night…this chick has done this before. That and she begged tmz not to post the video of her going crazy on Jason Derulo where she tried to allege he assaulted all of her friends.

Edit: Just read the TMZ article, it will be interesting how this turns out after the police investigate. The woman does not come across very well either

Hopefully it’s not true, but regardless he is so immature in his reactions. Not a hint of grownupness in the lad. He couldn’t just say “it didn’t happen and we have witnesses to what did actually happen”? I’m sure he was surrounded by people, including bodyguards.

I’m no fan of Chris Brown but by all accounts this woman is a know desert thirsty groupie of the highest level who follows male celebs around and makes false accusation of abuse when they rejects her. She did the same thing to Jason Derulo not long ago. When this girl reported the story to TMZ, she made sure to remind them to use her full name. She’s doing this for cash and fame.

If you’re innocent, just let the law take care of it. He finally seems to have some stability with his daughter, but he still hasn’t learned after all of his f ups to keep quiet. He is an easy target because of his past. Either he will learn from his mistakes or be destined to be stuck In 2009 forever. Grow up CB or you will lose custody of that little girl.
I don’t care for the ageism comments and stupid to call any of the women in an industry whose main purupose is to cater to men’s sexual needs/desires – dusty, thirsty, groupie, etc. But I guess if you don’t meet the guys’ standards, you get called derogatory names. She isn’t old by any means – just probably older than Brown. I googled her and she has had ALOT of work done and it shows. There’s a photo of the woman with definite bruising around her eye. Why is no one talking about this? Regardless of her past reputation, she has a black eye. Even the police report mentions injuries. That’s why this is being investigated. There is actual evidence of assault. Her injuries match her accusation. Her injuries do not match Brown’s version of events.
I hate to stand up for him but on Radar online, when she was leaving the scene she was cupping her one eye, but the bruised eye in the photo was the OPPOSITE of the one she was cupping on the scene. Maybe there’s reason, or maybe she’s lying but I’m definitely reserving judgement on this one because there is a lot of shadyness involved
