Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry have been dating less than three months by my count, although they seem to have known each other in celebrity circles prior to hooking up. Orlando reportedly landed Katy with aggressive pursuit, which she initially resisted by fell for at some point. The two went on a vacation to Hawaii earlier this month where there were so many well lit paparazzi photos, I’m sure they could write the trip off their taxes. They confirmed their relationship to the press around that time, although they really didn’t need to spell it out for us.
So these two are in the early stages of their relationship, where PDA is plentiful and they’re all over each other. That’s why it’s not surprising that there are photos of them making out on the lawn at a resort/ranch in Santa Barbara. E! Online has the photos (they’re from an agency we don’t subscribe to), which are taken from so far away that Jezebel likens them to a sighting of horny sasquatches. (They’re so clever at Jezebel.) Here’s what E! wrote about this:
[Orlando and Katie] were photographed packing on some PDA at the San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara on Sunday, looking more couple-y than ever.
An onlooker tells E! News they were spotted walking “hand in hand down the road” before they enjoyed some cocktails while sitting out on a grassy knoll. At one point, it appears Orlando decided to climb on top of Katy and go in for a passionate and steamy makeout session.
The photos are definitely blurry, but there’s another one where they’re sitting up and you can identify them. In the makeout photo, they’re laying down and Orlando is on top of Katie. Some people find that sweet but I just think “get a room” when I see people making out in public, especially if they’re all over each other like that. Still, the pictures were so grainy that Katy and Orlando may have assumed there was no one else in the area.
So good for them I guess. The place looks incredible and they probably did have a room as it’s an exclusive resort. I guess they just couldn’t wait until they got inside, those horny sasquatches.

He’s sooooo boring and terrible at acting (and he’s getting that sleazy older man look – he needs a new, shorter hairstyle), and she’s on par in the talent stakes but likeable as a person. As a pair, they’re boring. But I think they could last. It’s about time KP dated a non-douchey type.
I think they are sexy together and a major upgrade for both!
