Yesterday we saw Ben Affleck give an interview to Bill Simmons on the premiere of the new HBO sports talkshow, Any Given Wednesday. Affleck started with his favorite topic, his career comeback, and then he discussed Deflategate and ranted about how his buddy Tom Brady was wronged by the NFL. He was slurring his words and swore a lot. I thought he seemed drunk-ish but not wasted, because he was animated but made sense. Some of you floated the theory that all the Botox made him sound slurry while others thought he might be on prescription medication. Initially I assumed that the show was taped at night, but it turns out it was filmed at 11 in the morning, which is bad news for Ben. So he was possibly drunk from the night before, he’s day drinking or he’s on something that is making him seem less than sober during the day. Maybe he just sounds like that when he’s defending the Pats. (And when he has to put in all that extra effort to move his mouth.)
Affleck has responded on Facebook to this interview, and he wants to clarify how many f*cks he gave specifically:
I like that. He didn’t defend himself, he didn’t explain and he didn’t claim that he wasn’t drunk, he just stands by what he said and jokes about how often he swore, which, if accurate (I’m not going to check) means that E! got it wrong.
Affleck’s people did tell Gossip Cop that he wasn’t drunk. The rep told them “that the Boston sports fanatic wasn’t drunk, but simply passionate about the topic being discussed.”

If you watch the whole interview, Ben didn’t start swearing or getting all worked up until Deflategate came up, but he didn’t seem sober up until that point either. He sounded like he was maintaining, like someone who had a few but is still reasonable. He didn’t sound like I’m used to hearing him in other interviews, for whatever reason. I used to be friends with a woman who would sound really slurry in the morning like that. She was on prescription meds that made her loopy. I’m not saying that’s the case with Ben, just that it brought it to mind.

I don’t know if he was drunk but when your publicist and your interviewer have to go to social media to say you weren’t drunk, then you probably need to take another look at your behavior.
I like what he said, it was funny. And it does make me feel bad that he’s being scrutinized so intently for what he probably thought was going to be a fun, innocuous thing for him.
I actually love Ben’s tweet!!! Being from Boston, it made me laugh! We do get passionate about our sports! However, he did seem really frenetic (cocaine came to mind)…maybe, it was more than the babysitter that made Jen Garner leave…
Agreed! I haven’t heard the whole interview and the bits I have heard I don’t think he was drunk….he sounds like every other Pats fan I know. The F bombs…it’s such a Mass think too. If this interview was only played in New England, no one would have thought anything about it because so many people talk that way. I hear “F-in” this and “F-in” that especially about sports. He transformed into full Boston boy when talking about the Pats. That’s all.

That interview where he is so tan must have been taped, because in that photo from yesterday in the jeans and t-shirt he’s pale and looks great and healthy.
I’m glad he blew it off with some funny tweets and didn’t do some damage control. The show was being billed as edgy I think, and I believe he just went on amped up trying to be over the top.
I noticed a while back when he got botoxed there was something going on with his speech, like Brandi had. And he definitely wasn’t high that other time. I think the same is true for the interview. Lay off the Botox and filler, Ben.
It was taped Tuesday at 11a. I’ve been saying it for awhile but he always looks better in candid pics than he does for appearances. I think it’s the makeup artist that he uses (Natalia Bruschi). He always looks off when she does his makeup.
His toupee looks atrocious in that maroon t-shirt pic.
His hair is fine that t-shirt should go. Tight shirts shouldn’t be part of his wardrobe.
If ever there were a cautionary tale about Botox, it would be Ben.

I’m guessing you aren’t into sports or don’t know many sports fans (mostly men). Sometimes I think the only think they can be passionate about is their hometown team….especially since so many of them have been fans their whole lives. Sports, especially football have crazy obsessed fans.
I do know many sports fans and I say the same to them. You’re not getting paid calm down.

When I was at UT Austin, our football team was all good (I socialized and talked the entire game- not all guys were more into the football!). Now it’s just crazy to some of my family members (and batshit fiancé) when the Longhorns don’t play well.
My pride was in my academic achievements, but I get the pride and high feeling in being on top in sports and then falling. I just let it go easily. Now if I’m playing…it’s an entirely different story. When I play, I play to win.
We have much bigger problems, like Brexit! UGH! I’m trained in economics and I could write a book if I tried to comment on that post. Can’t even comment there because I have work to do today. Too much ignorance.

I was watching live and it never occurred to me that he was drunk, I just thought his face was so jacked that he was having trouble moving his mouth
I was just coming here to say this. His eyes look clear to me but his entire upper lip wasn’t moving when he talked. I think he’s overtweaked.
I know everyone is entitled to their own opinion however I’d think one would watch the entire interview and maybe compare it to another live interview of Ben’s before commenting.
If you do that it becomes apparent that Ben is NOT sober, he is under the influence of ‘something’ besides his passion for football. You can see this during the ENTIRE interview not just during the passionate crude football portion.
That said, the tape was made at 11am which would indicate that Ben has a large problem besides too much Botox. Instead of enabling him with his problem WB, parents, friends…someone needs to get him help!
I agree. Based on comparison of prior interviews and even movies, he has definitely had one too many.
The whole equals the sum of its parts;
His known struggles with addiction, specifically with alcohol
His father’s struggle with alcohol
The fact that he doesn’t sound like this most of the time.
The fact that he is under personal trial right now regarding the state of his marriage.
The slurring of his speech which sounds to me to be originating from his tongue.
His face trying to over correct the slur by stiffening.
To me; he sounds drunk. I grew up with an end stage alcoholic mother who thought she could trick me into thinking she was sober by speaking a certain way. He sounds that way to me.
The whole “he’s not drunk, he’s just passionate!!11!” excuse has to be one of the most ridiculous things I’ve ever seen. This person was.not.sober. during the interview.
I guess he’s so high he doesn’t realize what’s been done to his face and hair. It’s not good.
He just looks SO BAD.
The Bill Maher interview is a good one to compare it to. He was equally worked up/”passionate”/angry in that interview, but there is a big difference – no slurring in that one. Different story with the Simmons interview. I’m from Boston, so yeah, that kind of over the top sports talk/swearing is normal here, but the slurring jumped out at me right away. But maybe it was Botox like others said. :/
People can do what they like to their face, but I really didn’t like the Botox and fillers, because he was craggy-handsome before and they turned his skin to silly putty.
Although he doesn’t look *good* in the interview, the work seem to be settling and he’s looking more like himself again. I think the remaining “not so good” effect is just a case of shiny makeup, unforgiving lighting, and yes, a bit of the natural effects of aging (hey, happens to us all.)
He looks genuinely good in the photos taken in daylight with a bit of grizzle. The hot is not gone.
Sadly, ignoring the elephant in the room is how people get to the Johnny Depp stage in addictions. If the addict can still perform, then they must not have a problem.
Yes it is so very sad to watch a very talented young good person make such a mess of their life. His inability to acknowledge his problem, seek help AND follow the steps religiously towards recovery has cost him his family. His so called managers aren’t truly interested in him…their focus is the bottomline$$$$. When that drops they’ll drop him…sad.
My hearts hurts for his parents, Jen, his children and yes Ben.

Will be interesting to see what the next week brings. With next weekend being 4th of July, Friday could be a time to file, or they could do what they’ve been doing since the split and go off on yet another vacation – next week is their “anniversary.”
I agree next week should hopefully be interesting but not like the rants of this week.
I almost feel like he did it on purpose to 1) get attention a lot of press for his buddy’s show, 2) defend his other buddy Brady, and 3) to focus the publicity on his rant and away from his divorce. Though I’m not so sure he was successful at that. I do think his Twitter response is hysterical.
The question is – how long will he be in LA before he returns to London to finish filming. Does Jen have any movie projects this summer? As they usually try to switch off the parenting duties.
11th anniversary coming up next Wednesday, and then holiday weekend. If they actually file (which I don’t think will happen), my bet is they head out on a vacation. But time will tell. No shots of the kids in a while, wonder if there will be anything this weekend?

I don’t know about Jen following him back there – they both have movies to promote in August and Ben already confirmed he would be at Comic Con in San Diego ( ?) in Mid July. Too much back and forth for kids that age.
Stories a month or so ago said she was planning to go “back and forth this summer,” but who really knows.
I do wish he’d stop talking about Bemnifer though. I like Ben, but it must really suck to be JLo and have to see your name plastered across 350 stories 12 years after the fact for supposedly ruining Ben Affleck’s life just by being engaged to him.
It’s funny the way the jlo comment is being interpreted. I did not take it as she ruined his career, more that he was referring to the point in his life when it happened. The tabloids have now jumped on that. The one part of the interview which is not getting a lot of main stream press, is the fact that he called Jen Garner his “wife”, as in current. Is that how your average person refers to the wife they are divorcing and have been separated from for over a year? It was really sweet that he gave her credit for helping him turn things around. I do believe she was really influential in his choices and was a partner and sounding board for the movies he made.
Yeah, I do think he is just referring to that point in his life, but it is inevitably always misrepresented and reportd on in a way that paints her poorly. I think he should make more of an effort to say something directly like, “It had nothing to do with her,” etc. He was not a passive participant – he took an ad out in a mag pursuing her and asked her to marry him. She was just being JLo, the same person she is today.
Re: the “wife” comment, some outlets are covering it. He’s said this same thing about her helping him to restart his career in past interviews. It’s not the first time. Agreed, it’s an odd thing to say if they’re divorcing, but I also find it weird that Gossip Cop still hasn’t refuted the Michael Vartan stories or the stories about Ben thinking Jen is leaking stories to the media. GC has been wooing overtime, refuting nearly every other story that comes out. Maybe Ben was trying to keep the peace / get on her good side by saying it. Who knows.

I think she has spent the past few years trying to help him help himself, and now she is just trying to protect her kids and find a way for them to be around their dad in as healthy and safe an environment as possible. Hoping for the best for them. Tough place.
I agree she is protecting the kids from “something” and she does not trust him to take them on his own for extended times so she goes too even though she probably does not want to be around him. That is why so much togetherness during the course of the last year.

This week, she announced a change in her representation from WME to CCA.
That raised a question in my mind as she is now apparently working to get her career off the mommy track–why did she need to make that change?

I do too, it would seem reasonable. Someone suggested earlier that the rep change would be good for her – more opportunities for jobs. Apparently she and Ben shared the same rep and they thought his focus was just on Bens career and not hers.
His comment about Jen isn’t anything new. He’s said that same thing in past interviews. Now though, it seems a bit empty. I like Ben a lot in general, but I don’t like the way the conversation is being construed. JLo = bad. Jennifer = good. It almost seems calculated. No one knows what is going on with these two though. She could easily file if she was done with him, and so could he. My guess is she’s still hanging on, and so is he, but they each may have different motivations.
As suspected, Jane’s comments haven’t come true so far. Find it hard to believe there’s a serious girlfriend, or she’d probably be pretty angry that Ben called Jen his wife…
JoJo, my comment had nothing to do with Jlo (versus Jennifer or otherwise). Jennifer was key to his turnaround, contributing, in his words, to his current success. He says this with sincerity and has gone into some detail in various interviews. I just wondered why she had to change reps for better opportunities for herself and expressed the thought that it would seem appropriate for Ben to return the favor and contribute to her efforts to rebuild after putting her career in second place while birthing his babies and providing said stable home for him.
When and who files the divorce is irrelevant to that particular line of thought.
People mag has said all along that they will file when everything is worked out and they can just go to court and finalize it. Not sure who Jane is but I do remember her saying that they will file by the end of the month which if I’m not mistaken is in a week. As for the gf, well, what kind of person would be attracted to Affleck at this point anyway? No doubt she is some desperate becky who strokes his ego and is content to look the other way, aka, Jennifer Garner 2.0. That’s hardly surprising.

Also the agency change is significant. Her biggest claim to fame is still Alias (15 years ago) and being married to him. One of those things will be going away. She’s gotta build that career because it’s all she’s going to have to go on pretty soon.

@Nan. Just a thought…their children aren’t going to disappear. They truly won’t be independent for quite awhile. In fact I’d say the really busy time for a parent is just starting given their ages.
Single mom Jen (even with help) will have her hands full. She may not have time to devote to a full time career…possibly part time with better more satisfying acting roles for her is what she wants. Her new rep hopefully will assist her with whatever her career goals are..

The comments sections on Ben Affleck articles on the web are hilarious. This man has NO fans. Everyone thinks he’s a philandering, drunken cokehead and a lousy actor to boot. What could Warner Bros have been thinking hanging their future on him? He looks terrible, whatever he’s done to his face looks atrocious. And he’s officially fat. He has boobs and the hairpieces just get worse and worse. And it seems like people over on DM are starting to turn on Garner, too. LOL.
This same time last year Ben and family including two nannies were off to the Bahamas while the news of their split became official. While in the Bahamas Ben and nanny Christine were bumping uglies while his kids slept in the same house and Jen was still in Boston, and then the sh!tstorm that ensued after that. Wow how time flies. So much has changed but so much still remains the same. I wonder where they will be this year? My guess is not together? I think Jen and the kids take off to some beach resort until after the 4th of July weekend, and not the Bahamas, I can’t imagine either one of them wanting to go back to the scene of the crime, horrible memories there. While Ben stays in LA to finish Live By Night then back to London to resume Justice League. I would think a year after announcing they are divorcing, one of them would actually finally file, my money would be on Ben.

I do hurt for their children, Jen, grandparents and yes Ben too. The mess he is making is difficult to deal with on a personal level. I’m amazed that the kids appear as happy as they do and give that credit to their Mother. Will be very glad when he finally files so the family can move on.
I think we really have no idea what is going on with him (or them). If the kids appear happy, it’s probably because they are. It could be, that we on the outside see a circus full of perceived inappropriate behavior, but all they see are two parents that love them, married or separated or divorced. I’m sure they are getting consistent messages that leads to security and happiness. Hopefully they don’t see the daily tabloids.

Ben and Jen made their marriage and divorce fair game by talking about both incessantly in the press. I don’t have any sympathy.
It is kind of surprising that he didn’t attend church with them (he seemed to be trying to do that before he left for London), and there have been zero family outings (at least, that have been papped.) Maybe there really has been a shift in their relationship? Even though it’s Radar, the story about Jen changing the locks had a ring of truth. I don’t actually think she did that, but other parts of it seemed like they could be true – about her setting boundaries because he has gone back to disappearing for hours and not checking in. Maybe he is staying with a friend if she has asked him not to stay at the house. But who really knows… Guess we’ll see what their anniversary brings.
I noticed that after the lock changing story, which Ben’s rep told gossip cop was “incorrect,” there was a random story about Ben accusing Jen’s people of leaking stories about the divorce. And nothing has really came out of Gossip Cop since. And he hasn’t been spotted with the kids even once since he returned to town on Father’s Day. We know that Jen can’t take them anywhere w/o getting followed bc the paps wait outside the house/gate, so it does kinda suggest that he isn’t living at home anymore, even in the guest house. It would be pretty clever to wait until they were in Europe and the paps weren’t watching the house to move the rest of his stuff into another home. Since he’s been back, the paps have only been able to find him at the set, the airport and now this private residence. I’m assuming they followed him from the set to this place? I’m curious to see if we ever get more pics of him coming and going from it now that the photogs know about it. Stuff is getting interesting! lol
The fact that he may or may not have moved out of the house has not been publically commented on. I find this interesting because, given that they are “divorcing”, Ben moving out of the house would be a totally normal thing and nothing to hide.
I still feel this plays out 1 of 2 ways. 1. They really are moving forward and that is why there have been no public sightings. (I can not imagine that he has not spent time with the children – just probably doing it at home. In the airport video he said that he was pretty much going straight to see his kids).
2. Maybe they are just keeping things quiet to see how it will work. It should be noted there has also not been any “explaining” on why he referred to Jen as his “wife.” It took till this weekend, but now the weboids have been running with this one.
I just don’t see the big deal about him using the word wife. She is still his wife legally speaking. Will be until the divorce is final. He seemed not himself anyway, def on something. Shrug. Much ado about nothing if you ask me. A lot of the Bennifer 2.0 fans seem to be in a bit of denial about this split IMO.
@J – I see your points, and I think it’s hard to tell. I agree it’s possible they could just be keeping a very low profile. But a few things make me question that. For one thing, they haven’t shied away from regular, public family outings during their entire split, including in London, and there have been rampant reconciliation rumors for a very long time. So, why would now be any different. Also, re: them not commenting on things, including Ben possibly moving out, neither one has directly commented on anything, aside from the divorce announcement and her VF article. Everything else is just “sources.” Like @Lauren said, I do find it strange that Gossip Cop didn’t comment on the latest spate of stories re: Michael Vartan and Ben accusing Jen of leaking stuff to media. GC is usually all over that stuff. It makes me wonder if they (their reps) have gone quiet, gearing up for a filing. @JoJo Gossip Cop seemed to have Jen’s rep on speed dial for awhile there. Every other day it seemed like there was a new denial of some tabloid thing. But since the Jen-leaks-info piece, nothing. It honestly makes me wonder if Jen’s people were the ones who were leaking stuff all along but never Ben’s. Because once something negative came out about her (leaking stuff) it seems to have stopped. Ben has said in the past that he hates that his private life is in the public eye. It wouldn’t shock me if most of the stuff that we think we know about their situation is all from her side, trying to spin it all her way.

He hasn’t been to church with them since the sighting when she ‘ran’ from him after church. I read later that he’d shown at the house hungover and with lipstick all over his neck when they were leaving for church. Saw a video of him arriving late at church alone and freshly showered (wet hair). Kind of explained her behavior after church. Since then she arrives at church with driver/body guard…he also pulls up after church to take them home.
Oh I saw that. It was a blind item over on CDAN. Some version of that might be true, but CDAN is known for creating fake blinds about whoever is papped in DM.

Here is another fun theory. Perhaps the whole time they were in Europe, he was trying to convince her to make a go of it. That would explain the theatre and club date social medial sightings. Maybe while he was back in Enhland and she was home – she told him no and shut the reconciliation rumors down in people magazine. Hence since he got back to LA, no sightings and that crazy interview and now this sighing out of some random’ house. Of course I have no idea, but it’s fun to theorize.
I would be shocked if they reconciled. I think something happened in Europe that finally convinced them to end it. I am sure the Uber sighting in Miami didn’t help. GC denied he was with the nanny in the Uber but not that he was there. I thought they would have filed when the Depp/Heard marriage imploded. I doubt we will see Ben and Jen together anytime soon. I bet they file this week. Ben is going to be followed constantly for a while. Not sure he can handle the pressure.
I also feel like something happened in Europe to change things. Maybe it was just a final realization that old patterns between really weren’t ever going to change. But of course, I have nothing concrete to base any of this on.
I guess I’m in the minority. I think they’ve been ~done since they announced. They spent years in marriage counseling followed by months of separation before they declared their intention to divorce. I think all of the trying happened ages ago.
Ben managed not to get photographed while he was in London but after Jen and the kids had left. There weren’t pics of him for weeks until someone spotted him at some remote English coastal town for some random reason.
I thought her interview with VF was pretty revealing and signaled an acceptance of the end of her marriage. The trip to Europe was interesting because they seemed to be a couple again. Maybe it was a way to end on a positive note. I have no idea, but the narrative did seem to change when they were there. He looked pretty rough when he arrived back in Los Angeles and there was a blind item that he was hungover upon arrival at the airport and drank continually through the flight. It just seems like things have changed again. Maybe we will see Ben, single man, emerge now.
Warner Bros announced the release date change for Live By Night to January around the time Ben flew home on Father’s Day. I dont think that change signifies Anything positive about the movie. It has to be adding great stress on top of everything else. I’m not terribly sympathetic to Ben Affleck as he really does appear to make things hard for himself, but I can see it might contribute to his stress.
I would tend to agree with you about all of the trying already being done, but a lot of the articles before and at the time of their split last year (before nannygate came out) were saying Ben was done and that Jen was the holdup. They were quoting sources saying she didn’t want to pull the plug and would stay in the dysfunctional marriage forever if she could. These were coming from mags like US and People. Given their dynamic, I kind of believed that, at least at that time. That’s what has always made me think that she was still holding out hope, even after the separation. And her VF comments kind of made me feel the same – didn’t quite feel like she was done, although I know others disagree. As for Ben, I do think he was done at that time, but I think nannygate – which he wasn’t expecting – changed everything and he may have thought better of the divorce at that point. His image took a huge hit. If not for nannygate, I feel like these two – or probably Ben – would have filed a long time ago. But these are all just my theories … :/
It seems Jennifer Garner’s hometown has been impacted by severe tragic flooding in WV. There is now an intersting radar post saying that Jen and Ben will be going down there to help and fundraise. If this is true, it is very interesting, Jen helping Ben improve his image again.

DM has photos of her dropping off Violet for what looks like church camp. That usually lasts a few days. Maybe planning a fundraiser, but maybe not from WV which probably can’t facilitate it right now. It would be appropriate for Ben to be involved as it’s the grandparents of his kids and the kids would expect it from him, I think.
The original report I saw indicated that Jen and a state senator were organizing fund raising and other support to benefit WV residents. Then later Radar came out with their report mentioning Ben. I think the Radar report may be bogus and Ben’s team will have to wiggle out of this one. Most of the WV folks posting on FB couldn’t believe Ben would be involved IMO.
I just saw some statement from Save The Children (with a quote from JG) about donating to WV. It seems like she’ll just piggyback onto this charity’s outreach rather than strike out on her own or with some senator. Time will tell, I suppose. I for some reason hadn’t even heard much about the flooding in that state. I feel like with everything else going on, it’s not getting much press.
Was thinking, if the paps camp out outside their house, wouldn’t it be easy for them to tell if Ben is still living there? He’d be coming/going from there to the set or wherever in his car on a regular basis.
Tomortow is their anniversary … can’t wait to see what kind of gossip that brings. 😀

Should we begin the divorce filing countdown already? I have a really strong feeling Ben is filing on the 30th. If I was a betting man like Ben is, I’d put good money on it. We will be seeing less and less of them together going forward, we’ll see Jen with the kids as usual, Ben will be seen with them, but all of them together will become rare., Ben’s moved out and moved on. it will be weird seeing Ben and Jen with other people. Ben’s new gf must be thrilled to death.
Ok I’ll bite…which bodyguard? Haven’t read anything recently about her ‘dating’ a bodyguard. There was a mention of one last fall maybe on one of blinds but nothing since that I’ve seen.
Oh, I’m half serious, I’m just basing this off of body language between her and a bodyguard that has been with her for awhile now, he’s kind of old though, anyway he was with her all through shooting that Miracles movie and was even seen with her when she came back to LA after that was wrapped, He’s was just pictured talking to her as she came out of church Sunday too, they seem chummy. He’s not her typical type, but who knows, some dude is giving her attention and with her all the time, something could develop.
I am serious about seeing less of Ben and Jen together from hereon, the less we see of them together the easier it will be for the public to get used to seeing them with other people, especially Ben, who I do believe is already in a relationship.
If I were them, I’d file on July 1 at the end of the day. It’ll be a long holiday weekend with lots of people probably taking Friday off from work as well. If they want to avoid the most publicity, that’d be a good way to do it.
So the Boston Globe is reporting on the WV fundraising story, citing Radar as its source. Weird.
Why would the Boston globe pick up a radar story. I thought the Boston globe would be more reputable. There are so many people tweeting it as if it’s true and being thankful to them. Then there are people also saying how her parents live on the hill in Charlestown (rich part of town) and do not have flooding. As usual looks like radar made up a story, though since it’s one that gives both actors positive press, I’m not sure what their angle is. Wonder if both their publicists will do damage control here.
Another intersting note – not only has garner not been seen with affleck since his return, she had not been photographed with her workout buddy / manager Nicole king since then either.
Yeah, I was surprised at The Globe. Ben is obviously from here, so he’s of interest to them, but very surprised they’d use a story that seems solely based on Radar! Wondering if Jen/Ben actually gave Radar a story to play nice and try to get them to lay off with all of the other stories? Re: Nicole King, that is different, but maybe she’s on vacation …
Gossip cop just published a denial on a different story – Jen not talking to Ben after deflategate rant. So I guess the publicists are back from vacation.
@J. Just had to laugh after reading the GC denial. Like I or the anyone else believe Ben was sober during that interview?! Come on!! This verifies to me the accuracy of any GC report…they simply repeat what the pr rep tells them and do no checking of their own.
Question…just how big is Ben’s clean up team? How many people and how much money does it take to clean up after him…and to keep his face plus latest screw ups out of the news. Bet WB and Ben’s personal accountant have a complete budget line with plenty of $$$$ to cover expenses.
Gossip Cop reported a couple of weeks ago that Leo and Nina Agdal or whatever her name is were absolutely not dating. Yet Lainey has a report today that they are in the Bahamas together. I really wonder about Gossip Cop’s legitimacy. It’s one thing to say that it’s from a rep, as some things about Jen have been denied, but when it comes from “a source close to the situation” I am wondering how valid that is. The WV story… completely made up, look at the comments on the Radar story about the Garners’ house and where it is. As for the Boston Globe picking up the story, it is clearly just trying to get clicks. Newspaper circulation is down and the website is big business and $$. I am pretty sure other publications that used to have integrity (like People) have stooped to repeating stories from crazy places just to get clicks. It’s sad, really. And there’s no way for reps to really deny this story without looking bad, I’m sure they’ll just ignore it and people will eventually forget that Jen (and Ben) never appeared in the flooded areas in scuba suits and handing out water.
Yeah, I take GC with a grain of salt because even if they’re getting info. from the reps, we know they lie too and are just pushing the messages about their clients that they want us to believe – even if ithey’re not true.
Some outlets are saying Ben and Jen are now in WV. Honestly, I keep going back and forth on these two. Now I’m once again thinking Jen will never leave him and that they are just staying quiet about it.
Who is reporting that they are in WV? If they are truly there, there will be tons of photos – great publicity for both.

It’s really silly to continue to refer to it as their anniversary. It sounds crazy. They are separated.
Rats…so far today has been disappointing. Was hoping for some Hot Gossip like you all promised and nothing has happened. Oh well, day isn’t over yet…maybe I will see Jen going to gym in a shirt that reads ‘ah FREE at last’ or see Ben and his new bimbo froeliching (sp?) on the beach. This old lady is getting impatient.
