Kaley Cuoco has been doing the talkshow circuit to promote the new season of The Big Bang Theory, the tenth season of which premieres this Monday. The Big Bang Theory is the second most popular show on television with over 20 million viewers and only lags behind Sunday Night Football in the ratings. (It’s unknown how long it will continue, but given how popular it is I would say it’s got at least two more seasons, but we’ll see.) When asked about the future of the show, Kaley, who makes a reported million an episode, said last week that was “an expensive question.” It’s thought that the other female actresses, Melissa Rauch and Mayim Bialik, earn about $100k an episode while the male actors make at least $750k, with Jim Parsons and Johnny Galecki each making the same as Kaley, $1 million. So there’s a lot of money involved, and I would hope that Rauch and Bialik are going to be paid commensurate with the other male actors.
Getting back to Kaley, we know she’s been dating a new guy for about seven months, which is longer than it took her to marry her last husband. She’s been dating a 25 year-old equestrian named Karl Cook and she’s thought to be living with him and to be hoping he proposes. She’s been posting plenty of photos with Karl on Instagram, and even one in which she was wearing an engagement ring, which she later clarified was a ring she was wearing as her Big Bang character, Penny. She knew exactly what she was doing by posting that photo with the ring though. Anyway in a new interview with The View, Kaley gushed about Karl and how it was meant to be.
The Big Bang Theory star gushed about her professional equestrian boyfriend Karl Cook during a sit-down on The Talk on Thursday and said of being with her new beau, “I’m so happy. I can’t stop smiling. Life is so so good.”
“We met at a horse show. I finally found my horse guy,” Cuoco, 30, said of Cook. “It was very meant to be.”
The horse and animal advocate, whose divorce to tennis player Ryan Sweeting was finalized in May, complimented her boyfriend’s equestrian skills: “He’s an amazing, amazing rider and jumper, amazing equestrian and a great human. We share our passion for horses and dogs and all that and it’s been lovely, so I’m so happy.”
“I think even when I went through my big breakup – even my friends that know me so well – I might have said things like, ‘I’m never going to love again. I’m never going to get married again.’ You say these things. But the people that know you best, they know my heart and that’s just not me,” Cuoco said of finding love again post-divorce. “I wear my heart on my sleeve. I knew even deep down, I know this is just not the right thing. The right thing is coming for me, I knew it, I knew it, I knew it.”
With a BBT season 10 premiere date set for Sept. 19 on CBS, the series’ star is grateful that she “got through” her divorce and found love again.
“We all go through these things, but a lot of people don’t see everyone’s personal life played out – I mean you guys understand – so a lot of people go through this stuff on their own and I’m just glad that I got through it,” she said. “I couldn’t be happier. It’s like I saw the light somehow.”
Kaley is that woman who can never be alone. She’s the friend who always wants to hang out and have you listen to her problems when she’s alone for a month or two, who always forgets whatever you tell her about your own life, and then immediately ditches you the weekend she gets a new boyfriend because he’s THE ONE and you’ll understand. That said, anyone who loves animals is ok by me. At least Kaley and Karl have that in common and he’s not some hanger-on hoping to get famous – as far as I can tell. Just judging from their photos, the guy seems really into her and they look like a good match. I bet they get engaged before the year ends.
Look at this puppy! This is the shirt which Kaley wore on The View (that video clip is on People). I don’t get this. I really hate the off-the-shoulder ruffled dress shirt trend and this is similar to that, with ruffles on the sleeves, lace down the lapel and she paired it with striped dress pants! What was she thinking?

I don’t get how the character “Penny” earns more than Horowitz. Several episodes without Penny and I wouldn’t miss a beat, but episodes without Howard??? Come on!
Also what’s with the huge pay gap between the first 4, Melissa and Mayim? 1m, 750k then 100k? That’s bad. I’d take either one over Penny any day. I didn’t even think her cute or funny in “8 Simple Rules”. The only thing I like about her is she didn’t succumb to being bone thin on TV.

Mmhmm. Everyone is teh one. Wish she would just chill and enjoy herself. Let the relationship be tested and see how compatible they really are rather than trying to make it into her dream of happily ever after.

Haha you know what I have a sag female friend and she is so together in every other aspect of her life but with men it’s like every guy is ‘the one’ full speed ahead crash and burn within a few months (to be fair she had longer term relationships before I met her) I’m convinced it’s a Sag thing.

She is very dumb in life, insecure and needy without a man, but at least she had enough sense to get a prenup when she got married to the tennis bum. Why on earth she married him is another matter….and she’s probably stupid enough to marry this one too, but hopefully another prenup will come into play.
Except this one isn’t some poor tennis barely-pro. KC’s father founded Intuit and he doesn’t need her money; assuming he inherit’s his father’s $$, he’ll have far more money than she would.

Just when you think she’s gone………it’s hard to decipher but she is one annoying human being who desperately fears being alone. Like Taylor Swift she falls in love easily and unlike Taylor she wants to get married by the second date. Glad she found her horse mate.
I see so many judgy comments and I don’t understand why. If she feels her best self with a partner, and she’s not hurting anyone, and not taking anyone’s away what’s the issue?
To me the neediness and dramatic language and the way she acts like she’s the first person to ever discover falling in love reminds me of annoying, clingy, selfish girls I have known. Like this article describes, the friend who thinks you only live to hear the latest on her love life and then never reciprocates interest in your life.
I don’t keep relationships with those kind of people as an adult. But boy does she remind me of my younger years dealing with those “friends”.
I have honestly no idea why people hate her so much. She is harmless, never said anything bad about anybody and she is super friendly with all the women who work with her, she loves animals and she seems like a nice person in general.
The fact Mayim and Melissa earn significantly less than Kaley it is not certainly her fault and honestly Mayim and Bernadette’s characters could easily be replaced since they entered the story line around season 4 while Kaley has been part of the origianl show from the beginning.
I feel like the show wouldn’t be the same without Penny but wouldn’t change much without Bernadette or Amy.

Then again, I’m a Sagittarius myself, so maybe her mix of enthusiastic oversharing and starry-eyed hope following several crash and burn relationships strikes a chord with me. I tend to be very independent, but when I’m in, I’m all in and assume the guy is too, with mixed results LOL.
