I’m genuinely surprised that Taylor Swift didn’t get magically pap’d on Saturday, just so there would be new photos ahead of the Emmys. Maybe she’s waiting for tonight, you know? Maybe she’s waiting to show up “unexpectedly” at the Emmys just so she can “surprise” Tom Hiddleston. That’s what the Daily Mirror/Daily Star suggests – their source claims Taylor’s name still appears on some guest list somewhere, and now “his pals” hope that she does the decent thing (?) and stays home.
Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston could come face-to-face for the first time after their messy split at the Emmys on Sunday night. The former couple, who went public in June after Taylor’s split from boyfriend of one-year Calvin Harris, broke up earlier this month and since then it’s got quite messy. It will be a big night for Tom, who is up for the Best Actor award for his part in hit drama The Night Manager. But now it’s been claimed that Taylor is also on the guest list for the Emmys and his pals are allegedly hoping that the night is not spoiled by the former couple running into each other.
“Taylor is still on the guest list. But everyone on Team Tom is hoping and praying she’ll do the decent thing and stay at home and watch it on TV for his sake,” a source told Daily Star Sunday. “He is still shellshocked over their split and just setting eyes on her could send him into a tailspin.”
It has been claimed that the Emmys team are working hard to make sure the pair stay clear of each other.
Taylor’s actually won an Emmy before, but I don’t think she’s ever attended an Emmy telecast, so why would she start this year, the year when her latest ex-boyfriend is up for some big awards? I don’t think Taylor is like that. Say what you will about the Snake Emoji, but she’s not usually that upfront about her stalking, you know?
Two more things – one, Taylor did want to get some attention this weekend, which is why she announced a $50,000 donation to Ascension Public Schools in Louisiana. She also donated to a local food bank and Salvation Army chapter in Louisiana, and her giving likely exceeds the initial $1 million pledge she made in the wake of the Louisiana floods. It’s completely amazing she’s doing such high-profile donations. Period, end of story. Of course, it’s also completely amazing that her donations are announced at some really critical moments in the gossip cycle.
Last thing… Tom Hiddleston is probably going to present at the Emmys with Priyanka Chopra. There’s a photo of the two of them laughing together and now people are like “Is Hiddles getting with an Indian lady?” As an Indian lady, I hope Tom does go for an Indian girl, just because it would be good for morale. I doubt it’s happening though.

Tom and his PR have done a good job of putting it about that he likes this that or the other qualities in women, and Tom has performed exaggerated ogling of women’s bosoms in interviews, and it all means nothing, because the still-unacknowledged truth is, he’s not interested in women at all – like several of Swift’s past “bfs”.
That’s a silly conspiracy theory. That fact that a man’s sexuality is a conspiracy theory that anyone spends time on is silly in itself. He has said that he is straight and likes women’s boobies. End.
If we are agreeing that there is no evidence that Tom like “dramatic women” then we also need to agree that there is no evidence that he’s gay. It’s all speculation.
Yeah, some people who responded to me seemed to have misinterpreted my answer to mean that he doesn’t date women and I don’t think that’s the case at all. I mean his sexuality is none of my business and I doesn’t matter to me if he were straight, gay, or bi,, but he’s said he’s straight and he’s been caught checking out women in several videos. To be honest I prefer 1000 times her “before” appearance. I don’t know why women in Hollywood feel the need to have a plastic surgery so they can look like every other actress.

I will be surprised if he does for multiple reasons. 1. There are other issues/news items that appeal to a far broader demographic; 2. they are over, let it die and move on 3. he doesn’t know why they’re over and it could add to legitimate hurt feelings, making him look like a bully 4. Disney/Marvel/ABC doesn’t want its employees sniping at one another on stage in front of a television audience and they are both employees of Disney/Marvel/ABC at the moment but Taylor herself is actually fair game because she isn’t.
I would give anything for them to walk to the stage, stand next to that microphone, and Priyanka to ask him in the most casual way possibe : “So…had a good summer ? … Here’re the nominees! ”
But i don’t think his sense of humour extends that far.

Thing is Tom has always been a happy guy, and there’s hundreds of photos over the years of him smiling and laughing. It’s widely been confirmed by those that have worked with or met him that he’s basically a delightful, charming, happy person – someone who normally wears a big smile and is always going to make the best out of his situation. So just cause he’s smiling in some photos with Taylor isn’t necessarily proof that he was satisfied or “truly happy” with the relationship. I think he gave it his best effort, but even Tom’s famous enthusiasm couldn’t save the Taytanic -ship.

Lastly, Tree Paine, Taylor’s publicist, has been shooting rumors down in seconds, from left to right, it’s been a couple of days now, and she hasn’t even shut down the rumor that states Zac and Taylor are dating, yet she shuts down the other ones in seconds? … I think there is something being planned here, think Taylor could possibly be PR stunting with Efron soon.

Thank god it’s over, and why does everybody think the Emmys need Taylor for ratings? Not saying the Emmys organizers aren’t concerned about rating like any other show, but the Emmys has a lot to offer. There’s going to be loads of celebrities there, something for everyone. The majority of Taylor fans don’t really watch the Emmys. She’s not a part of the Hollywood acting/Tv/film community so it doesn’t really make sense for her to be there unless she’s performing a song or as someone’s date otherwise no one is clamoring for her to be there.
