Khloe Kardashian clapped back when someone said baby True is ‘not cute at all’

Khloe Kardashian has started posting more photos of her baby girl, True Thompson, on social media and Snapchat. All of the Kardashian-Jenner daughters were born within a few months of each other – True, Stormi, Chicago – and it will be interesting to see how the cousins will grow up together and possibly grow up to look like each other. I know that the Kardashian-Jenners live to put their lives on social media and that everything is an angle with them, but I enjoy the fact that they’re sharing photos of the babies and everything. People ARE interested. But that doesn’t mean you should tag Khloe with your opinions about her baby. That’s what someone did a few days ago – a person tweeted at Khloe, saying that Baby True is “not cute at all.” That’s so f–king rude. Khloe thought so too:

Then Khloe raised the point about tagging her in that opinion:

That’s what I don’t understand – why in God’s name would you tweet @ Khloe just to insult her baby? One, stop insulting babies. WHO DOES THAT. And two, if you really, really have to insult a baby, for goodness sake, don’t tag the baby’s mother in your tweet.

Khloe wasn’t done with the clapbacks, although this one was a bit funnier. Someone else tagged her with the opinion that she was holding Tristan hostage after he cheated on her and “Just put him on an ankle monitor sis.”

In this case, I just think it’s a little bit funny that Khloe jumped down this person’s throat for saying that that sis needs to put an ankle monitor on Tristan. Because… I mean, she should do that. But Khloe is trying to present this happy-family image and it’s all going to blow up in her face and no one is going to be sympathetic towards her when it does happen. Because she’ll have spent months blowing up at people for offering reasonable advice about ankle monitors. Maybe I should tweet @ Khloe with my idea for a d-ck lojack.

I can’t stand anyone in this family, but for god’s sake-leave their kids out of it. You want to comment about it on your own page? Fine. But don’t @ someone insulting their kid. That’s just being an ass. It isn’t clever or funny.

    • whatWHAT? says:

I agree completely. besides, her baby is cute.

now, if someone wants to comment on photos, comment on how Khloe looks NOTHING like her pics she posts on Insta because of the extreme photoshopping. the one with Kim is how she really looks.

that one down below looks like a cross between one of her Jenner sisters and Rizzo from Grease (young Stockard Channing).

      • jan90067 says:

I think posting a comment like your kid is ugly is horrible… no excuses for that.

But, I do wonder with this family, what will they do when /if the kids look like them, pre-surgeries? Will they rush them to the plastic surgeon as a tween, or will they just photoshop the hell out of them? Thing is, they weren’t unattractive before they butchered themselves into plastic blow-up dolls. Can’t help but feel sorry for kids growing up in that mentality of “beauty”.

      • Milo says:

The picture up top thats an accurate depiction of her looks like she hi-jacked Kate Uptons face…

    • Char says:

The first clapback is totally deserved, just don’t say to someone her baby isn’t cute, it’s plain rude and stupid.
The second one is amazing, that was some nice shade and Khloe should’ve kept her mouth shut.
Now, the first picture, OMG, what have they done to their faces???

    • Sugar says:

But that’s just it, social media is not about being “clever or funny.” It’s about attention. Khloe got trolled and she took the bait and fed the trolls. That person who made that comment got to her and that’s what they wanted. It’s not about whether her kid is cute or not, baby cuteness is subjective. If it bothers her when people are rude or inappropriate she should not post pictures of her kid publicly. She could simply take her profile private.

      • Nancy says:

You said it all Sugar. She insists upon attention, and when it’s not what she wants to hear, she goes off. Her sister Kylie was the smart one when she said she wouldn’t post any more pics of her kid (she probably is already though). They are just setting themselves up for trolls. Probably hard in their narcissistic minds to believe someone might not love their baby like they do. Private profile IS the answer, but are you kidding me. She couldn’t survive without talking about herself with a picture tutorial to accompany her ramblings.

      • minx says:

Live by Instagram, die by Instagram.
There are a lot of sick people, just don’t get into it with them. But of course this family’s whole reason for living is social media.

      • josephine says:

I wouldn’t put it past these people to make up the trolls themselves to create a controversy for attention and sympathy. I don’t understand why anyone puts photos of their kids on such a public site – there’s no getting around the fact that the kids have no choice here, no privacy. In my opinion, this isn’t about sharing pics with friends and family — this is about big business and using whatever necessary to keep people interested. I find the whole thing so gross.

  2. Beth says:

Not every baby is cute and adorable, but I’d never tell a mother that her baby is ugly. Some babies are so ugly they’re cute, or have a face only a mother could love. True honestly is cute

    • Jane says:

Unpopular opinion but not all babies are cute but it’s never right to tell a parent.

The issue is social media makes it makes it super easy to be disrespectful.

      • broodytrudy says:

+1 Jane. We all like to pretend that kids and babies are cute, but some of them genuinely aren’t, and that’s totally fine. People are much more than their looks, though this is all that family is interested in. But have enough class to at least not @ the person whose baby you’re talking about. Yikes.

      • Nancy says:

Sitcoms do it all the time. Oldies with reruns like Friends and Seinfeld in particular, devoted almost an entire episode to a not so close friend having an unfortunate looking baby. It was funny. Khloe is a hypocrite. She’s the type of person who says anything she wants and cries hater if someone claps back. Sure the ones insulting her kid are trolls and truly don’t care about her precious angel, but are goofing on little True to get to Khloe, which is a very, very, very easy thing to do.

      • paranormalgirl says:

my girlspawn looked like a norfin troll when she was a certain age. I certainly wouldn’t have wanted total strangers pointing that out. By the way, she grew out of her trollhood and is now a beautiful 16 year old.

    • Jordan says:

Honesty is key but when it comes to a baby “ou it’s a babbbby!” Is what should only be said.

  3. RBC says:

Babies and children are off limits. I would do the same if someone made a comment like that about my child.
But… I do have to give a bit of a side eye since this is coming from a member of the Kardashian family. They love attention and there have been other instances of some “unknown troll “making a comment then it turns into a storyline. There were a few cases involving Kim that were very strange

  4. Jess says:

True is cute. What freaks me out is that I don’t even recognize Khloe anymore.

    • Mrs. Wellen-Melon says:

      True IS cute.

Khloe is putting a lot of work into appearances – her own, her relationship. It all feels as authentic as her booty.

    • whatWHAT? says:

she’s recognizable in Kim’s insta pic, because she’s not photoshopped to hell and back.

  5. Babies are beautiful.

Why does Khloé look like Chrissy Tiegan and is that really Kim’s latest face?

    • Nancy says:

Take a look at her side by side with Sydney Simpson around the same age…(all over the Internet), Khloe had one of her prior noses and fuller face and darker hair, twins. I know everyone says she’s the hairdresser’s daughter, but man, she and Sydney look so much more like sisters than Khloe, even with all the surgeries does to any of her Kardashian sisters. Gotta suck to be her.

      • whatWHAT? says:

OK, so I just googled a bunch of pictures and HOLY CRAP I had forgotten what Khloe originally looked like. she’s had the most surgery of all them, I think.

      • Nancy says:

LOL. They think they can fool you (and themselves). When their kids start to develop their features, they will probably by those of their mother’s original body parts and dang is Khloe in for a surprise. That plastic surgery is a dangerous little game, they forget their origins! PS…she had the most to change. Kim and Kourtney faces are basically the same, except for some nose work and fine tuning. Khloe was a canvas to start over!

      • Aurelia says:

Im with you on this one Nancy. I spent time on the web checking it out. Uncanny for sure.

  6. Hotsie Totsie Too says:

Pseudonymity is a f’ing great thing, isn’t it? It makes Internet jackasses feel so brave. “Look, I just ‘told’ a celebrity that her baby’s ugly. How cool is that?! LOL!” I can’t stand any of the K family members, but seriously…I hope that person felt great about herself.

Gawd. By all means, tell Khloé to strap an ankle monitor on Tristan, but leave their infant out of it. Grow the hell up.

  7. Swack says:

True is cute, think in the picture with Kim and Chicago she is has the look of (to quote a tv show) “Whatcha talkin’ about Willis”. Also, sorry Khloe, but Tristan was spotted out looking for a house the other day without you. You probably do need to put a tracker on him.

  8. Wilma says:

I don’t think ugly is a word we should use to describe how someone looks, especially on kids and babies. I do think it’s weird that Khloe off and on uses filters on her kid. I hope she herself truly believes her baby is cute.

  9. HeyThere! says:

It’s just someone hating because her baby is adorable!! Stuff like this makes me so happy I’m not famous. You can hear 10,000 nice things but you remember the one jerk who commented. It hurts, I’m sure. Leave her baby girl alone.

  10. Azu l says:

Don’t expose your baby to the internet cr*p. The baby can’t choose or agree (yet) to live that kind of life. She’s profiting with her private life and people will respond to that in so many diferent ways. There are nice people, curious people and pedofiles too.

  11. Kate says:

What a disgusting thing to say about a child. I found the entire culture vultures to be appaling but I would never insult her baby’s looks ffs. And I found True totally adorable anyway.

  12. Morrissey says:

    Ugly is as ugly does.
Baby True is so freaking cute. Those KarJenners really do make beautiful babies. I hope their babies don’t grow up feeling pressured to alter their features to resemble their mothers. It must be hard to have a feature that your parent deemed undesirable enough to alter?

    • me says:

What Kim, Khloe, and Kylie altered about their appearances, their daughters will have naturally (thanks to their fathers).

  13. Lily says:

Khloe always filters True’s photos which raised a lot of questions and many just assumed that Khloe also believes that True is not cute thus the need for filter. Maybe if she stop that…*shrug*

  14. Abby says:

True is adorable. And baby Chi is pretty freaking beautiful, too.

  15. Patty says:

Not all babies are cute. As a parent you may think your kids are the cutest but er’body else might not. Maybe people like the Kardashian’s should stop pimping their children out on social media and this wouldn’t be an issue.

I wound not however, do an @ mention to a mom to tell her the baby isn’t cute though.

I actually had an interesting conversation with a friend about this recently – and this misheld belief that all mixed / biracial children are cute, which isn’t true. Also I think there is a difference between saying a baby isn’t cute and calling a baby ugly. The poster didn’t say True was ugly, she just said she wasn’t cute. LOL.

  16. zappy says:

the funny thing is, from the username I can tell that he/she is kpop (korean pop) fan LOL yes I dont know who is who (too many groups) but I know that is two names of korean boybands infinite & exo. My students often talk about them 🙂
still, thats rude. MOST people posts in social media for attention (celeb or not), for their lifestyle or opinion. You may comment about everything else, but giving mean opinion about people appearance and tag them is big NO, baby or not.
Not everyone is beautiful, not every babies is cute. we know that already. You dont like their pictures cause their not beatifull or cute, dont see it. no need to tag the said person.

  17. Giddy says:

Never, ever insult a baby. My oldest son was baptized at three months old and had tons of fine dark hair that stood straight up. After church as friends were coming by to see him, this witch cruised up to us, cackled loudly and proclaimed that his hair had made him look like a frightened woodpecker during the ceremony. It was a “hold my earrings” moment for me. I have never forgotten it (obviously). I can laugh about it, but I remember clearly how hurt and angry my hormonal self was. It’s been 35 years.

    • HeyThere! says:

Giddy, my nephew had hair like that as a newborn and I actually loved it! So adorable! Why some people think to say that crap out loud will never make sense to me?! They wonder why everyone one is so insecure. Babies can’t even be safe from harsh, rude criticism!

  18. KidV says:

That photo isn’t a good representation of how cute True is, but it does show her fierce side-eye.

Kim looks so much better without all of the makeup piled on. She’s paid for a very pretty face, she shouldn’t hide it behind a makeup mask.

  19. Dr Mrs The Monarch says:

Most babies look like old, drooling, wrinkly bald men at some point. Mine certainly went through that phase. They get really cute around the six month mark and again at their first birthday. But there are lots of unappealing stages.

Even at their current ages they are awkward, but I know they will keep growing and developing into lovely people- not plastic publicity parasites. I worry that no matter what True looks like, she will never be cute or pretty or sexy enough for her mother’s ego.

That said, it was still rude to say that on social media.

  20. Zip says:

To be honest, I find all babies and toddlers rather disgusting. Don’t ask me why. However, I would never tell the parent and if the subject comes up I just change it. Simple as that.

    • Sojaschnitzel says:

Copy that. Cannot stand the sight of the average drooling toddler. There are exceptions though and the Kardashian babies belong to that group. This baby ain’t ugly, no sir.

  21. Lizzie says:

Her baby is beautiful. People are so obnoxious.

    • Nancy says:

Disagree, well not entirely, people can be obnoxious. Internet people, faceless strangers can be cruel. She is the mother, the adult, the one who is famous because of her name and she chooses to display her baby for the world to see and comment upon. She could easily cherish her babies photos in private with her family and this problem would cease. She is her own problem.

  22. Velvet Elvis says:

Good lord, did Kim get a new face again? She’s almost unrecognizable.

  23. Aitana says:

All bets are off when Khloe decide to put many photos of True to social media. It’s not right to criticise to a mother the looks of her baby, but surely she knew what she was doing. After all, Khloe had been on social media for a long time. She knew the was a possible, actually probable outcome. It’s sad because True is not a cute or pretty baby, but there’s a chance she will grow up to be a gorgeous woman, & now that Khloe has done this True will have read such comments when she’s older & this plants a seed in her head. Sad but true. Khloe should not have posted so many photos of True to social media. This sucks & is unfortunate for True, because again, True may be a late bloom, & actually grow up to be breathtaking beautiful. If Khloe really loves her baby she should consider all these things before acting so impulsively. But after all Khloe is an idiot & that explains a lot of what she does.

  24. Sid says:

Insulting a child like this is incredibly mean-spirited, but when you use your kids as marketing tools don’t be shocked when the market comments in a way you don’t like.

  25. artistsnow says:

The whole think makes me sick. Khole has fooled us all with this poor baby. Who knows about her real maternity/paternity/ but True emerged from someone elses tummy. And IDK, but she looks NOTHING like Khole and/or Tristan. But then again, babies do look like creatures from another planet.

And if Khloe TRULY accepted her baby, why is she constantly putting these HUGE ribbons on the poor baby’s bald forehead. The little girl looks SO much better au natural.

Starting off her daughters life with a HUGE masquerade is not good. Already putting picture after picture on the internet is not good. Pretending she has to go back to work, what work? Not good. Of all the new Kardashian babies, I feel the worst for True. For some wonderful reason, Kylie is not dumping photos of Stormi all over the net. And Kim, well yeah, she is definitely over publicizing her kids but she seems like a very loving and nurturing mom, and in the long run, LOVE overcomes all.

  26. vespernite says:

    A “d-lojack”!!! HAHAHAHA… I just died!
