Donald Trump made an admission about the Trump Tower meeting with Russians

President Roundtable Discussion on Tax Cuts for Florida Small Businesses

Donald Trump had a terrible weekend. He couldn’t get to sleep on Friday, so he stayed up watching CNN and tweeting sh-t about LeBron James. Then on Sunday morning, the Washington Post published this story, about how Trump is “brooding” constantly these days because of Russian sh-t, the Manafort trial, and his own significant crimes. Within that WaPo story, “sources” in Trump’s legal team say that Trump is very worried that his big dumb son Don Jr. may have inadvertently committed some felonies when he set up that meeting with the Russians at Trump Tower during the election (a meeting which also included Jared Kushner and Paul Manafort).

The details and cover stories about that meeting keep changing, and they’ve been changing for months and months. Suffice to say, Don Jr. is up to his neck, and I suspect Mueller has significant sh-t on Jared Kushner too. So of course the Fat Nazi got on Twitter on Sunday morning, after the WaPo story dropped,

“This was a meeting to get information on an opponent, totally legal and done all the time in politics…” No. It’s not done all the time “in politics.” Political campaigns – presidential or otherwise – don’t make it a habit of meeting with hostile nations to collude on election fraud. And here’s something else that I just keep thinking about: the Trump Tower meeting is being held up as the “smoking gun” of evidence for collusion between Trump and Russia, and while it’s incredibly damning and all of that, I can’t help but feel like it’s just the tip of the iceberg with these people.

I saw someone say they are old enough to remember when this meeting was about adoption. True, but, I’M old enough to remember when there was no meeting.

    Impeach!

    • Ida says:

      impeach!

    • B n A fan says:

I remember when there was no meeting and no collusion. MAGA lock up the dotard and the Don Con family.

      • jwoolman says:

MAGA = My Attorney Got Arrested

MAMT = My Attorney Made Tapes

MAIS = Man Am I Screwed

    • Esmom says:

I know, right? And yet the deplorables are twisting their nasty selves into knots to justify it. Did you guys see the photo from the rally of the guys with the “I’d rather be Russian than a Democrat?” Treason is fine, just to own the libs.

      • Darla says:

Yes I saw it. And they slam Hillary for calling them deplorable. She was being kind.

      • Lightpurple says:

And those two guys posed for the newspapers in those shirts and gave their names and addresses to the reporter. Now, the Dotard’s minions are screaming all over Twitter that the left is doxxing them. Uhm, no. They willingly went public with their identities; may they face the consequences.

      • whatWHAT? says:

how far we’ve come from “Better dead than Red”.

      • holly hobby says:

That is a slap on the face to every member of the military who defends us from those creeps. I bet those treason weasels get welfare too. Trash is trash.

    • babypeanut says:

it’s frightening how his fans contort themselves to defend and believe him. All the Putin collusion/treason evidence, and the result is they like Putin more!

      • jwoolman says:

Part of me is glad that Americans don’t hate the Russians so much any more that they are willing to destroy the world to get rid of them. (I grew up in the era when the burning ethical issue of the day was “Is it moral to shoot your neighbor who is trying to get into your fallout shelter?”. I have a list of fallout shelter essentials stuck in my grade school dictionary, in my 9-year-old handwriting.)

Another part of me is baffled by the overwhelming Putin love. For the past two years, Trump supporters have been responding like this to charges that the Trump campaign accepted help from Russia. They consistently say that if Putin got Trump elected, that’s a good thing.

      • Enormous Coat says:

Loud stupid people love portrayals of authoritarian power. It protects their notion of perceived superiority.

As for Jr., good riddance to bad rubbish. His dotard father will absolutely let him take the brunt of this. I’m very hopeful that this family will receive hands-on lessons in American law and justice. They are disgusting, vile criminals.

    • Juls says:

I’m old enough to remember a congress that drew articles of impeachment on a president for lying about a beej.

“My dad said I’m wonderful,” mutters a teary-eyed Don Jr, while getting handcuffed and shoved in the back of a police car.

It’s weirdly Shakespearean. Like, this is all a combo of Stupid Watergate and Stupid Shakespeare.

      • Jane says:

This and throw a bit of Fredo from the Godfather movie too. I can see Don Sr. throwing his son under the bus to save his a**. All we need is a “kiss of death” and it would make another movie.

      • Giddy says:

Cue Donnie Jr/Fredo: “I can handle things! I’m smart! Not like everyone says…like dumb…I’m smart and I want respect!”

      • Lightpurple says:

Princess Nagini will deliver the kiss of death to her brother Fredo, then hand him a glass of orange juice as she puts him on a boat to go fishing with Eric and Lara. Later, shots will be heard. Then some splashes. Lara will return alone, without any fish, to announce that she saw the transcript of the Trump Tower meeting and it was about adoptions. During the next White House press briefing, Sarah Sanders will announce that there was no transcript because there was no meeting because Trump never had any adult sons. She will then announce that, for the remainder of the Trump presidency, daughter-in-law Lara will serve as VP of all Trump corporations and will manage those businesses without input from the Dotard or Nagini, except for what they tell her during their daily conference call on family business

    • magnoliarose says:

Remember last year when 45 gave police officers the green light to rough up people as they are being shoved in the car? So can we ask that they not protect DJ Fredo’s big dumb head and let that sucker slam right into the metal roof as he is being tossed in the back seat? Nothing coma inducing just hard enough to stun him.

      • Darla says:

Yeah, he said that out where I live, and I was so disgusted. Trump county USA loved it though.

      • babypeanut says:

        Agreed.

      • Jan90067 says:

At this point, I’m not so sure about that. He made some comment in the past week that had me questioning this. And SHE sure as sh!t would throw EVERYONE under the wheels to save herself and her money deals.

  4. Tootsie McJingle says:

*sigh* Congress and his followers don’t care. All that matters is that the libs are owned.

    • Esmom says:

Ha, I just said the same thing above. It’s the only thing that matters.

    • Original T.C. says:

      +1
The only branch of government working is the judicial branch. With all the money washing coming out in the Manafort trial, Drumpf is sweating bullets and confessing. He is not afraid of impeachment (GOP and Dems won’t impeach. Dems are afraid of everything and the GOP will turn around and impeach the next Dem president). Trump is sheeting his pants because he’s afraid of going to jail. Supreme Court can stop the prosecution then Russia will make sure he has 4 more years as President to get out of going to jail.

      • Chaine says:

        Bahaha “sheeting” 😂

        He knows he’s forked

      • M.A.F. says:

There has to be grounds for impeachment. The GOP can’t just impeach because their guy got impeached.

But I do agree on the Democratic not doing a damn thing. They’ve been like that for years now.

      • cr says:

“But I do agree on the Democratic not doing a damn thing. They’ve been like that for years now.”
They also haven’t had control of Congress since January 2011. And if the Dems do take control of Congress in the Midterms, it might be a somewhat marginally more lefty group. And they will start holding actual hearings. And whether or not to impeach will come from those hearings.

      • Veronica S. says:

Yeah, I’m not sure what you guys want Democrats to do when they don’t have thf numbers to actually do anything legislatively. Democrats need to show up for congressional elections if they want democratic outcomes.

      • holly hobby says:

A judge just overturned FEC’s rule about shielding the identities of donors who donate to those dark water groups. So yes the judiciary is working.

      • Tiffany :) says:

holly hobby! That is the BEST news i have heard all day! Hopefully that ruling sticks!

    • B n A fan says:

What can the Dems do when they are not in the majority in the senate or in the house. Whoever wants something done has to go vote blue come November otherwise everything will remains the same or get worse. It’s up to us to vote for the change we want. All the complaining will not solve anything because McConnell and Ryan ect are compromised they ain’t going do $&#$.

      • Original T.C. says:

I’m talking about *when* the Dems were in the Majority during Obama’s administration. They were easily bullied and shamed by the GOP. Remember the Blue Dog Dems who stopped progressive policies? The GOP managed to prevent the President of the United States from getting his last Supreme Court nominee heard. I’m still voting for Dems and so should everyone, I’m just saying don’t expect them to draw up articles of impeachment. They will be accused of not doing the people’s business and they will get scared.

      • Tiffany :) says:

To be fair, The dems only had a super majority for 4-5 months during Obama’s 8 years. Other than that, every vote in the Senate needed 60 votes to pass anything.

With impeachment, however, a lot of the power resides in the House. So even just getting the house will allow dems control over investigation and impeachment proceedings. However, it will still be a challenge to get anything done in the Senate.

To add on to B n A fan’s comment, citizens have so much power. If we want “Blue Dog Democrats” to be more progressive, their constituents need REALLY push them towards more progressive positions. Let the Senators know they aren’t vulnerable for voting progressively.

      • Original T.C. says:

        +100000 @Tiffany

We the people have the power. We not only have to elect Dems but we have to stay engaged and push them along. Just like Trump’s power comes from his cult of Republican voters. They push him to vote for their issues. We can too!

  5. Shelly says:

Another day with dumba**, let’s focus on November and tomorrow’s election in Ohio.

  6. KNy says:

I think their M.O. is “Admit it so it doesn’t seem like a big deal.”

    • B n A fan says:

This is my believes, they know that Michael Cohen’s offices raid yielded 180 tapes. I’m sure they found out that Mueller probe has the evidence on tapes that he knew about the meeting in advance so he decided to come forward and confess before it comes out. The walls are closing in on him. Now, instead of “Build the Wall” for Hillary it will be built for him. Oh what a tangle web we weave when first we practice to deceive. No Collusion = conspiracy to rigged the election to steal the Presidency of the United States.

    • holly hobby says:

People don’t get convicted in the court of public opinion. Everything happen in the courts. They think they will win but no those votes don’t count.

  7. Maya says:

I am so sick of white men getting away with everything.

The media was a big reason that Hilary lost and the media is the reason men still are getting away with rape, murder, verbal & physical abuse. The media is sexist and they are the reason Trump became president.

Now the media is so dumb that Trump is using them to attack themselves. There was an excellent article on Washington Post where a journalist wrote how they should completely ignore Trump and not give him airtime. Don’t attend his rallies, don’t go to daily White House briefings etc. Ignoring him will make him rage and make more mistakes.

    • squashtherumors says:

I’ve been wanting the media to ignore him. Don’t show up for the bull press conferences, don’t show his moronic tweets. Concentrate on actual journalism, cover his crimes. Media coverage is his raison d’être.

      • Indiana Joanna says:

I agree with both of you. Cut off drump’s oxygen by not showing up at the Sander’s insulting press conferences, give minimum or no press coverage of his repetitive hate, self pity rallies.

Focus on the real stories of his crimes.

      • Christin says:

I wish the tweets weren’t given hours of media attention, and balance each day’s coverage with what Congress is doing (or trying to do). We do have more than one branch of government, and what’s happening in Congress definitely impacts our lives.

      • magnoliarose says:

        @Christin

I am so tired of the news cycles being dominated by his Tweets. WE KNOW HE’S A DERANGED LOON! At this point, it isn’t news anymore. The sun rises and sets. Water is wet. Humans need oxygen to breathe. 45 tweets are lie filled diatribes from a malignant sociopath. WE KNOW!

      • Harryg says:

Yeah, that would be good! He’d go even more crazy if he was ignored!

    • Sash says:

      Agreed.

    • Chaine says:

I so agree. His only desires in life are airtime and ratings. Why does the media keep giving it to him?

    • Original T.C. says:

Doing reports on his tweets are ridiculous. They look like fools yet it’s considered breaking news. Instead of reporting on substantive matters like him packing the federal courts, the effects on our environment for every Obama’s policy he revokes. I only found out about his revoking the rules that required cars salesmen not to cheat minorities or woman by selling a car at a higher price to them than to White men of the same credit ratings.

Like instead of reporting on Trump’s bankruptcies during the election, the live streamed his rallies. Ratings is their bottom line that is why only the Newspapers are breaking real news.

      • magnoliarose says:

        ^^^Exactly x million.
The MSM has become useless and embarrassing. Whatever happened to crack reporting and investigating.

    • Giddy says:

When Sara H-S refused to say that she didn’t see the press as the enemy of the people, I wish that all the reporters had stood up and left the briefing room. She routinely treats reporters with such disdain that I wish they didn’t attend her briefings at all.

His peanut brain gallery base weighed in with we druther be Russian than Democrats. And they were quite serious. smdh

  9. Beth says:

This gets more unfuckingbelievable every day. Insane! If this was such a legal nothing-burger, why didn’t he just tell the truth right away instead of piling on more BS lies? What’s with the “17 Angry Democrats, ” thing? I thought he kept saying “13 Angry Democrats.” Does this knucklehead realize that Mueller, Rosenstein, Comey, etc. are lifelong Republicans?

    • B n A fan says:

He knows Mueller, Comey, Rosenstein are all Republican. He lies because that’s all he knows to do. He also knows his base will not fact check him and will believe every thing he says. I saw a woman on tv at one of his rallies being interview, she says she believes everything he says, if he says it she believes it without question. What did he say, “I love the uneducated”.

      • Swackd says:

Even if they fact check him they don’t believe it or make excuses. I fact check someone on FB all the time and the minute I do, there is always another but . . . that gets put out there as a response to my fact checking.

  10. Shelly says:

On a more positive note, Jennifer Rubin, WaPO conservative columinst, comment on Sarah Saunders was great in case you missed it.

    • Darla says:

Yeah, I think her sudden reappearance has a lot to do with why malaria released that Lebron statement.

      • Lightpurple says:

Sorry but I don’t think Malaria had anything to do with that LeBron statement and I also don’t see that statement as contradicting the Orange Dotard in any way. Dotard attacked LeBron’s intelligence, as white supremacists have done to people of color for eons. Malaria’s statement, issued by Stephanie Grisham, doesn’t address the attack on LeBron’s intelligence at all but makes bland comments about how he’s doing good things, very similar to Trump’s own statement about Frederick Douglass. It’s nothing more than damage control and a distraction and Grisham has written stuff to help the Dotard in the past.

      • Darla says:

You are most likely right, LP.

  12. Eric says:

“It was Hillary’s son! It was Obama’s son!”

    hahahahahahaha…

And this is why I have always said “President Tweeter, keep on tweeting.”

Every tweet just adds to the evidence pile.

Don Jr just got tossed under the bus. More to come.

    • Swackd says:

And the WH has said in the past that his tweets are official statements and they have to be archived.

  14. Darla says:

Well ITs tweeting again. Saying that Hillary and Adam Schiff colluded with Russia. He seems to have already forgotten he confessed to collusion yesterday. Oh dear.

    • Beth says:

And he forgot that he said collusion isn’t illegal. If Hillary and Schiff were guilty of collusion, why is he making a big deal about it if it’s legal? He contradicts himself nonstop

      • Fluffy Princess says:

So by Tweetolini’s admission — if it was legal, then so was the dossier! All this hullabaloo about the “illegal” dossier from Hillary*!! Well then, if his meeting with a hostile foreign nation is legal, then so is anything that Hillary did. ANYTHING.

But of course, it was crooked Hillary that met with the Russians to . . .what. . .lose the election? When Putin said himself he was pleased that DT won? GD people are so fn stupid to believe anything he says.

*Just quoting him–we all know how that dossier came about, who paid for what, and that it’s always been legal.

      • jwoolman says:

And not only did Hillary collude to lose the election, she paid for a dossier that she never used in the campaign!!! Wow, Donald, that woman really didn’t want the job.

  15. Incredulous says:

*Mueller sighed as he had to start another folder*

Just for a moment, try to imagine being as dumb as Trump. I can’t fathom it myself.

    • Juls says:

It’s quite the dichotomy isn’t it? With every tweet, Dotard makes Mueller’s job of nailing him to the wall easier. But it also creates more paperwork, more trails to follow. I don’t envy Mueller, this train wreck is a sheet show. But I do admire him.

  16. minx says:

I can just hear him saying “toootally legal!” In that obnoxious used car salesman voice. No offense to used car salesmen.

    • B n A fan says:

Btw, he looked like hell on Saturday at that rally. All the lying, cheating and money laundrying is getting to him. He knows Mueller knows everything, lol.

  19. Indiana Joanna says:

OMG. I know a lot of people here object to Sasha Barron Cohen, but just read that he tricked Joe Arpaio into admitting he’d accept a sex act from drump. Don’t what know to say except that drump’s followers will agree to be hideously duped to impress drump.

  20. Rescue Cat says:

I still doubt this investigation is going to result in any penalty whatsoever for Trump. His opponents have no desire to see the investigation reach its conclusion because the investigation itself is as good as its going to get for them.
