After the trials and tribulations she’s experienced in her life, it seems that Britney Spears’ “picker” is finally working and she’s found happiness with her boyfriend of nearly two years, 24-year-old Iranian-born model and personal trainer Sam Asghari.
The 36-year-old singer is on the cover of this week’s issue of US Weekly, and a source has told the magazine that Sam has “become a stabilizing force in Britney’s life, without stifling her or trying to make her into someone she’s not. He accepts her for who she is, which has been a struggle for Britney in the past.”
The source added that her current relationship “has truly given her a purpose and a joy she never had with any other man in her life” and that the diva is “living her best life yet.”
And as for that pesky 12-year age gap, both parties are living the old adage that “age ain’t nothing but a number.” US’s source reports that the age difference “never concerned Britney,” adding that Sam makes her feel younger, adding, “Sam is a great influence on Britney. He’s stable and positive. She didn’t think she’d find her soul mate, but Sam is indeed just that.”
Sam’s not only keeping Britney positive, his fitness influence is also quite evident, because girlfriend looks great. After losing 100 pounds himself (which I still can’t believe), Sam has helped whip Brit into shape. And, social media gushing and all, the two seem really, truly happy. As the insider put it, Britney has “really simplified her life and is glad to be out of the spotlight. She loves being just outside of L.A., where it’s calm and quiet. She’s very happy.”
I’ve always like Britney, nasal singing voice and all. I’m glad she has found love with Sam.

She does seem happy, and damn, they are both in great shape. I still think of her as a 20 something, I don’t think age difference is a big deal here.
Would it be a bit weird to be in a relationship with someone on a conservatorship? How much control does her dad have over her day-to-day life? I’m guessing the dad has to be ok with the boyfriend.

Love Brit Brit and yes she does look happy and seems to be in a good place. She was at Brighton Pride last week and there is footage of her asking her dancers where she was, bless her.
Also have you guys seems the twitter footage of a fan at one of her US shows shouting ‘Who is it?’ just as Gimme More starts, he shouts it just before she says ‘Its Britney B!tch’. She and her dancers all starting laughing. Its apparently really taken off and the fans are doing it at every concert now.

He is very hot. A lot of guys who were not considered attractive when they were younger and then blossom, have a great personality. Theyre not conceited like men who have always been considered good looking. Glad he lets her be herself.

Holy steroids in that ‘transformation’ photo, batman. That kind of lean muscle mass is not natural. But I’m also willing to believe it was (hopefully) for a brief period of time leading up to the big reveal. He’s still huge, but it’s a more believable huge now.
I have really complicated feelings about Britney. I think she’s more troubled than they let on – but I also don’t think she’s a complete child. I think she definitely needs someone to help with big decisions, and I think some of her medication (necessary meds) kind of makes her look strung out at times. Maybe she has to take something for anxiety occasionally that dopes her up more than normal – hard to say.
What I do know though, is that it’s great that she’s working out. It’s so great for your mental health. I have a cousin (20 years older than I am) who was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. She had gained a lot of weight and was miserable on top of it. In the last 6 years or so she’s completely different. She only needs minimal medication now, and she’s SO fit. She could probably throw me if she tried haha. But she’s gotten super deep into that beach body coaching stuff, and she’s just SO happy and fulfilled.
Exercise isn’t a magical solution for everyone – but when you’re tiring yourself out and making yourself stronger – you tend to at least feel a little better about yourself and realize you’re more resilient than you used to be.
So at the very least – she’s got someone who’s helping her stay in a healthy routine. I can’t believe he’s only 24 though! I’m 28 and I would have thought he was older than I am. He’s just enormous and he looks a lot more mature than 24. He’s a good looking dude.
Also – the kids are genuinely adorable. I can’t believe how big they’ve gotten. I can see both Kevin and Britney in them – and the combination works. They’re already cute, but they’re going to turn into handsome young men. God I feel old.
I agree that Brit is troubled beyond what is known, she had a difficult childhood with a very pushy stage mom. I often think Jamie Lynn getting pregnant at 16 was her way of getting out of Lynne Spears machinations as she was setting JL up to be anther Britney. JL seems to be doing great as a country performer and in a good place in her life.
Lynne Spears and Larry Whatshisname have a lot to answer for with what has happened to Brit. They were both enablers and grifters who were living their dreams through Brit, esp Lynne.
People who have these massive breakdowns, like Britney did, almost never fully recover. I had an Uncle who had a similar breakdown and he couldn’t function on his own after that, he spent the rest of his life living in sheltered accommodation where the staff and his social worker were making decisions for him as he struggled to do it on his own – it would really stress him out. I suspect that’s the case with Brit.
I’m glad for her…she really had a tough go of it for many years. She’s always been very relationship-focused, so I’m sure having a decent guy for a change makes her very happy.
Poor Britney really is the poster child for Young Stardom Cautionary Tales. It proves again that no child should be the family breadwinner…it really compromises some parents’ judgment about the welfare of their children. 🙁

Glad she’s happy AND functioning. Britney also seems to be a good Mom these days and her two boys clearly adore her. I’m sure Sean and Jayden are also a stabilizing force in her life.
As a woman who shares Brit’s age, I cannot imagine myself being serious w anyone12 years my junior. Guys in their early 20s in my experience are not even on my wavelength. Her bf looks like the typical 20 something pretty boy workout freak…all looks no substance. But he is shockingly deep & really good for her! I eye-rolled the sh*t out of Kourney K’s boy-toy cause he is just the typical 20 something y/o I was describing but this one, he’s good. She actually LOOKS great bc she’s finally HAPPY! A good relationship goes such a long way
