Kim Kardashian on the claim that she’s homophobic: ‘All my best friends are gay’

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West exit Kylie's 21st birthday dinner

Here are some photos of Kim Kardashian out last night in LA. She and Kanye West went to Craig’s for Kylie Jenner’s 21st birthday bash. I think the party had a theme, and that theme was “ladies dress in pink.” I mean… her body looks amazing. I would praise her for it if I genuinely thought she got her body through a combination of careful diet and exercise. But I’m pretty sure she got it through diet, exercise and plastic surgery.

There’s someone else who isn’t a fan of Kim’s figure: Tyson Beckford. Last week, Tyson commented online on a photo of Kim, writing: “Sorry I Dont care for it personally, she is not real, doctor f—ked up on her right hip.” And he added the “vomit” emoji. Kim saw the comment and replied: “Sis we all know why you don’t care for it” with the emojis for coffee, frog and nail-painting. You know what was implied. Kim got called a homophobe, because she insinuated that Tyson is gay and that’s the only reason why he wouldn’t like her or be attracted to her. It was a thing and everybody had a lot to say about it last week. I ignored it because truly, I don’t care. Kim is 37 and Tyson is 47. They both know better than to do this sh-t. Well, Kim won’t stop talking about it and denying that she’s a homophobe.

Doubling down. Kim Kardashian defended her response to Tyson Beckford’s body-shaming after some claimed her comeback was homophobic.

“Really, dude? Like, you’re going to body-shame me? Like, OK. OK. OK, sis. You’re going to body-shame me?” the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 37, told Big Boy on Real 92.3 on Thursday, August 9. “People were sending me stuff on his page. He keeps on going and going and going, and I’m just like, ‘Dude, that’s so female lame to me. That’s just lame to me.’ And for anyone to say that I am homophobic with the comment of saying ‘sis’? All my best friends are gay. I support the community. I love the community. They love me. That has nothing to do with this.”

[From Us Weekly]

“Dude, that’s so female lame to me.” Is that a thing now, “female lame”? Is that some kind of new sexist slang, to engender “lame”? It’s not male-lame, it’s FEMALE-lame, the worst kind of lame? As for the “sis” – as I said, I’m already over this sh-t. Of course she was implying that he’s gay. Of course it was homophobic, regardless of all of her “best friends” being gay.

(Now that being said, Tyson is a 47-year-old man who knows better than to talk sh-t about a Kardashian. They’ll feed on his carcass for months.)

I never thought I’d be defending Kim Kardashian but the last thing in the world I think she is, is homophobic.

    • Loopy says:

Its the same excuse of ‘i have black friends so what? Doesn’t mean you should anything offensive.

    • Naomi11 says:

“All my best friends are gay”, to me is what ignorant people say when they try to deflect something. In her case, homophobia.

      • jwoolman says:

Did she just out her good buddy Jonathon Cheban?

Not to mention other folks who may be surprised to learn either that they are gay or that they are not on Kim’s current bestie list.

      • jwoolman says:

        (Wrong place, deleted)

    • Osnat says:

Disagree, no different from a white person saying ‘I can’t be a racist, I have black friends’. It’s exactly the same mentality.

      • elisabeth says:

she’s not that deep. She loves only herself

      • Nancy says:

That was my absolute first thought. Middle class suburban white woman/man…how dare you call me a racist. I have a black friend at work…lol. She literally is no different with that comment. She’s always trying to clean up her messes and of course goes to Big Boy. @Josephine, yep, that was her first defense, her first reaction was to shame a man by insinuating he was gay for thinking she’s fake. He was spot on.

    • josephine says:

I disagree. When she gets pushed, her first defense was homophobic.

      • j says:

How easy would it have been to slap Tyson back into his lane by just plainly calling out his misogyny and body shaming? I genuinely scratched my head at this one. There was no need to throw the LGBT community under the bus like that. She actually sat there and wrote that out and thought “this is gonna be the sickest burn ever” and alleged he was gay like being gay is a worse insult than what he initially said about her? And did the “I’m not a racist, I have a black friend” over explanation? Truly weird.

    • Morning Coffee says:

Then she shouldn’t make homophobic statements. “All her best friends” not withstanding.

    • Ronaldinhio says:

I think she was definitely calling him out…more in a – I’m so smoking you’d have to be gay to be criticising my hip in the face of all this other wonderment..sense
Was she being homophobic? No, I don’t think so.
Was he being a tool? Yes

      • InquisitiveNewt says:

I agree. Her stance comes across as homophobic, but when we recall just how exaggerated this woman’s narcissism is – from taking great pride in publishing a book entitled “Selfish”, to the Australian TV interview when they had to move the monitors because she stared at herself rather than the interviewer, to the hundreds of daily selfies, to the truly hysterical reaction when her unairbrushed Mexico photos hit – it becomes less of a surprise…

    • xflare says:

well… her response of basically saying “but you’re GAY!” with the intention of hurting and damaging someone might suggest otherwise.

    • jwoolman says:

Kim is probably a mixed bag on this as in other things. On the one hand, being gay is not an obstacle for her to hire someone or form a friendship with them. On the other hand – nobody would really use those words to attack someone if they were truly devoid of any homophobic feelings, even if just leftover from childhood. The words simply would not even come to mind. To me, it shows that she does indeed talk this way privately and routinely.

Likewise her using lame as a go-to word does suggest she may not know people well who really are “lame” and walk with a limp or wear leg braces or use wheel chairs. Otherwise as an adult, she might hesitate a bit at that childish insult. Hard to say, people easily get into habits when they hear others use such words.

Kim really does have a very juvenile vocabulary and mindset in such things, though. When I saw her interacting with Nori a while back, she struck me as acting like a rather clueless 13 year old babysitter rather than as a mother in her 30s.

  2. Loopy says:

They love dragging anyone who says anything about their Klan. It’s ok to dedicate shows on taking anyone down but God forbid anyone has the balls to go after them.

    • Naomi11 says:

I agree. Screw the whole family. They are only famous, because of KK’s sex tape. They are certainly milking it for everything it’s worth. Pure trash!!!! Blow up barbie dolls.

      • lovesot says:

anybody who is fans of this family or watches their show, or really even just buys their crap, should be shamed publicly.

  3. JanetDR says:

Haha! I’m laughing at myself because I am not interested in Kardashians and now all I want to see are pictures of her right hip!

    • Cherry says:

Me, too! I don’t care if she’s homophobic. I want to see what’s what with her hip.

      • Cherry says:

Gee, thanks! He’s right, the doctor did f*ck up her right hip…

      • minx says:

She had a very nice figure before all the surgery. Now she looks like a misshapen mess.

      • Ohioan says:

Right?? I was ready to be mad at Tyson, but he wasn’t wrong..

      • Kitten says:

She’s had BBL. Several times I bet. If you Google “Brazilian butt lift” (at your own risk-beware) you’ll see that people with average-to-overweight bodies and people with “apple” body types can get Kim’s exact shape if they have enough money. The results are pretty impressive in terms of how drastically it changes a person’s body, but that’s about it. *shrugs*
Kim has always been on the curvy side but the massive hip-to-waist ratio she’s sporting these days was made in a surgeon’s office, not the gym.

I’ll save my awe for people like J Lo and Brittney, who bust their asses to look like they do–and even better, women like Serena who inspire me to stay fit and strong.

PS Tyson is so hot. I cannot believe he’s 47. He looks A-mazing.

  4. Judith Butler says:

I don’t think she is homophobic as in “she hates gay people for being gay,” but she is more than willing to use someone’s sexuality against them. Just like she uses her daughter’s race for her own benefit when it’s convenient (Bo Derek bitch). She is just tacky and willing to stoop wherever she needs to when it’s convenient.

    • Tiffany :) says:

“ she is more than willing to use someone’s sexuality against them.”

This is true, which is homophobic in my opinion. If you use it as a weapon, you’re not an ally. That’s just lip service, because when it comes down to it, she’s willingly engaging in oppressive behavior.

      • Osnat says:

“ she is more than willing to use someone’s sexuality against them.”

This is true, which is homophobic in my opinion. If you use it as a weapon, you’re not an ally“

        THIS ^ ^ ^ x 1 000!

      • Kitten says:

        EXACTLY this.

      • lovesot says:

and to me it actually was homophobic not just for the great reasons you articulated, but bc tyson IS gay, so she knew EXACTLY what she was doing when writing ‘sis’

      • jwoolman says:

Another weird aspect of this is that Kim is actually insulting women as well. She is using language as insults that basically mean the worst thing you can call a man is …. a woman. This is the language that teen boys use when they want to isolate another boy. The word “sissy” is derived from “sis” or “sister”. Likewise the insult of “weak sister”. “You throw like a girl” is another one. Heaven forbid that a boy do anything “like a girl”. “You look like a girl” was used against young men in my childhood when they wore their hair long, usually by grouchy adults who also ranted in general that “you can’t tell the girls from the boys anymore”. (Even though they were not looking for a mate, so why could that possibly matter?)

Hopefully Kim’s kids have adult nannies who are not verbally stuck in middle school.

    • bettyrose says:

ITA. I don’t think she has any real convictions, and I don’t think she hates anyone. I do thinks she’s uneducated and lacking in critical thought, though. That comment is just about the most classically idiotic thing anyone could say.

  5. Lara says:

Yes Kim and because you’re married to a black man means that you don’t culturally appropriate…..

  6. Sarah says:

Yes, she can’t be a homophobe because she has gay friends. And slaveowners can’t be racist because they… Wait a minute. Idiot.

  7. Clare says:

No, F Kim and her antics, but also enough with trivialising the hateful and inappropriate nature of Beckford’s comment and actions. He has NO business going on a woman’s social media and offering unsolicited comments about her body. Men like Beckford need to learn that their opinions about women’s bodies are NOT needed and NOT appropriate. He is 100% wrong for body shaming any women – be it Kim or Martha or Sandy down the road.

He shouldn’t have done what he did – not because the K’s will feed on his carcass, but because HE HAS NO RIGHT to shame a woman in that way.

    They can both F off.

    • Starkiller says:

Completely agree. If Beckford had made that comment about anyone other than a Kardashian he’d be getting ripped limb from limb, and rightly so.

    • Brandy Alexander says:

he shouldn’t have done it, but he didn’t go on Kim’s page. Someone had posted a pic of her as the perfect body and/or outfit (I think) and that’s what he commented on. Kim must monitor her name on google alerts.

They were both wrong, but I give the edge slightly more to Beckford. Kim sells her body as a commodity daily, she shouldn’t expect to reap the benefits and get mad when someone comments in the negative.

    • Naomi11 says:

I disagree. When you’re in the public eye, and you choose to post certain things, I firmly believe everyone has a right to their own opinions. She attacks whenever someone says something she doesn’t like. The whole klan just needs to STFU and go away!

      • Nickles says:

So you’re saying we can attack women’s bodies now? Or just women we don’t like?

      • JeanGrey says:

        Nickles,
Her body is not real. It has been enhanced like crazy to get her maximum exposure and attention. And she courts attention left and right. So she got it. If this was a regular, natural woman and Tyson randomly body-shamed her it would be a different story. Also, Tyson was asked about this. Her enhanced figure is just not his preference. And noticing her botched plastic surgery is nothing exclusive to Tyson. Most people I know clown her ant booty and skinny legs. Women with real round and curvaceous butts have thick thighs to match to hold it up. And people have been going in on her face for years. Had she just ignored his comment most of the public wouldn’t have even known or cared that he said it. But now Kimmy feels empowered to clap back at everyone cuz she knows it will raise her SM mentions.

      • Kitten says:

JFC now one man’s relatively benign opinion is an “attack”?

      • minx says:

        Kitten—agree!

      • nb says:

@Naomi I fully agree. She posts pictures on her own IG all the time showing off her body. If it’s ok for people to express an opinion of “Oh wow Kim, you’re so beautiful and perfect and magical” then why is it not also ok for someone to express an opinion of “Oh wow Kim, your plastic surgeon done f*cked up and I am not attracted to you”. Both are opinions, and both should be ok to express. But for some reason it’s seen as ‘attacking’ if someone expresses an opinion that she ISN’T perfect? This little snowflake Kim needs to STFU and stop promoting her body all the time if she doesn’t want to hear BOTH negative and positive opinions. Not everyone in the world thinks she’s as perfect as she thinks she is. Frankly when I first saw the picture of her that he commented on I thought the exact same thing – her hip IS wonky and her body is so over the top curvy now that nothing about it looks real.

      • jwoolman says:

Nickels- the fact is that Kim routinely posts nude photos of herself and also poses for nude cover shots in multiple ways. She has shown pretty much every inch of her body in public and is not ashamed of it. She really is in the business of displaying her body naked in public. That does make public commentary on the specific details of that body fair game. It seems as though he was making an accurate observation also.

It’s like the difference between a professional singer and someone who just sings to themselves while washing the dishes. It’s appropriate to comment on the singing voice of the professional in a public forum, not really for the dishwashing private singer (unless you’re blown away by his or her voice….).

    • Alisha says:

Just a thought and a question: we often comment here about the Kardashians and their awful plastic surgery whenever a picture of them comes up. Particularly Khloé and Kylie, as theirs seem more drastic, but I have seen comments on Kim posts too. And most of those comments are of a not flattering nature. Is that really any different than what Tyson did?

Now for the question(s): is it body shaming to remark on their plastic surgery? And does it make a difference that they themselves invite this type of commentary by offering their lives and bodies for public consumption? That is their job after all, one that they have deliberately chosen. They are the product, and we are the (often unwilling) consumer.

For example, often on Khloe or Kylie posts I see people commenting on their lips or their drastic butt enhancements. Many people often remarked how fake it looks or how sad it is that they have done that to themselves or that it does not look good. I have said myself that personally I prefer their “before” look. So is that body shaming? Are we not allowed to comment on them or state our preferences in regards to physical appearance?

I guess I also differentiate between commenting on a person’s natural body versus a person who has had extensive and obvious surgeries. To me it is not the same as saying that he thought she was fat or ugly, just that it does not look natural and is not preferable.

      • Jordan says:

There is no shame to having work done, to me. But it’s shameful to lie about it and pretend as if it’s all the result of hard work. It shames the actual hard work of people busting their asses off to achieve even a fraction of what the can buy. They’ve made an empire off lying with their packaged bodies.

      • minx says:

This crew lies all day long about their bodies and everything else. I won’t lose any sleep worried that I’m body shaming them because there’s not much of their real bodies left.

      • Alisha says:

@jordan and @minx I agree with you both. I have remarked myself that I think they look cartoonish. Others might disagree, but I do not see criticizing their plastic surgery as body shaming. That to me is different than commenting on a person’s natural figure or features.

      • Kitten says:

        Agree with all.

      • Kate says:

I think just don’t comment on anyone’s body. Even if they’re flaunting it in your face and making money off of it as a commodity. Even if we disagree with how they are dressed or what surgeries they have done or tattoos or whatever. What is the point? To knock them down a peg or two?

I don’t know how to say this eloquently, but I think it’s all connected with feminism and equality and women’s bodies not being subject to scrutiny by every damn person who looks at them so that all we value is how we look and not who we are inside. I would rather just never comment on anyone’s body, especially a woman’s body, and teach my kids the same thing and then maybe my daughter will feel a little more confident in the world and a little less likely to succumb to an eating disorder or body dysmorphia or to pin up pictures of skinny women’s bodies as “goals”. Sorry I’m ranting.

    • Nija says:

well yes i do agree, but its funny we are all up in arms about it when 99% of people in this site do the same thing as Tyson. (Commenting on kims body, etc)

      • geekychick says:

I would agree if the person whose body it is didn’t promote unreal body image, unhealthy shillings/pills/laxatives and constantly lying about the fact that the body in question is product of a plastic surgery, while at the same time promoting it as ultimate beauty standard.

    • Moneypenny424 says:

Sorry, but if we get to comment on people’s hair and clothes, we get to comment on their ridiculously fake bodies as well. This is not how they were born or what they exercised to become–this is what they bought, just like that silly dress Kim is wearing.

This is not the one or two procedures a lot of people have, it is purchasing entirely new faces and bodies.

      • Nija says:

i don’t agree or disagree, was just pointing out the fact that people are doing the same thing that they yell about to tyson.

    • otaku fairy... says:

Exactly, Clare and Nickles. There are no winners here. We’ve got one male pushing 50 and acting childish about some woman’s body for attention (he could have just said he wasn’t attracted to her. He, as a man, did not have to go into making fun of her body), and we’ve got a white chick pushing 40 being childish about his sexuality as some sort of clap-back. Both are problematic and need to grow up. Honestly though, some of the responses are more problematic than what either of them said. This ‘she puts herself and her body out there, so free speech’. Plus, she got plastic surgery’ argument is the same type of reasoning misogynists and rape-apologists use to justify their daily slut-shaming and victim-blaming.

    • vesper says:

@CLARE Now this was the correct response! Thank you for pointing out that no one wins in this particular argument. Both parties are wrong and showing their ugly!

  8. C-Shell says:

And now all her “best friends” are cringing because either (a) she’s outed them when maybe they weren’t up for that or (b) they are questioning if, in fact, they ARE one of her “best friends.”

    • Sofia says:

This. Jonathan Cheban is her most well-known best friend, and he’s been defensive against suggestions that he’s gay. She may not have directly outed him, but she’s raised new speculations about his sexuality.

    • Miffy says:

Jonathan Cheban must be so pissed right now

  9. Callid says:

She’s not homophobic – “having or showing a dislike of or prejudice against homosexual people.” This could definitely not be applied to Kim. Think of a different word because homophobic is not the one.

    • kari says:

hidden or buried hate comes comes out easiest in anger.

    • Tiffany :) says:

She’s using someone’s sexuality as an insult against them. She’s trying to intimidate them by accusing them of something they haven’t publicly proclaimed for themselves. That is absolutely oppressive, homophobic behavior.

    • Naomi11 says:

Saying stupid sh*t like she did, only shows how homophobic she is……. People eventually show it in their own ways. He is definitely homophobic. Anyone who doesn’t think she is clearly has their own issues.

    • josephine says:

She suggested that he was gay as a means to suggest that he was “less than,” as a man, less than as a person, or that he should be ashamed. That’s exactly homophobic.

  10. Neelyo says:

‘All my best friends are gay. I support the community. I love the community. They love me.’

Because some sycophantic stylists on her payroll feed her ego she thinks the community loves her. Bless her heart.

  11. grabbyhands says:

How does she support the community exactly? I mean, we already know how she “supports” the black community- by appropriating their culture and fetishizing black men. Oh, and amongst other things, sucking up to dictator wannabes and trying to trash people who dared criticize her husband for ignoring Donda House.

    • Jordan says:

THIS. She was using the gay remark to insult him. She goes on to take all masculinity away to nullify his response to her bought goods- designed to attract men in their minds. We all know any one of those women would kick their current significant others to the curb if Tyson came calling. I was screaming when Cardi was with Kris and Kim. Best not let Offset around one of them, they’ll trade up in a heartbeat.

I don’t get how a site that ‘calls out’ or rather covers her appropriation wouldn’t care about it. I guess growling dogs and lack of presents are more important to the writers.

  12. Chaine says:

The pink looks great on her. She should go back to wearing colors.

  13. Michael says:

These people are unbelievable. Do they spend all day and night on social media? I like Kim’s whole “If you are not attracted to me you must be gay” thing. I am a straight male and I don’t think she is hot in any way. But I must admit, her vapidity (? Is that a word) is growing on me lately. From now on I am going to assume that any woman who is not attracted to me is gay

    • Naomi11 says:

      @Michael….

      I love it!!!

Yes, they do spend all day on social media, because that is what famewh**es do!

    • Lightpurple says:

“Vapidity” is a word and it is the perfect word for this situation.

    • Kitten says:

      Need “like” buttons around here…

    • jwoolman says:

      Michael — 🙂

Actually, there are indeed some men who think that if a woman turns them down for a date, no matter how diplomatically, she must be a lesbian. Then they run around telling all their little friends that…. Kim seems to be the female version.

    • ElleBee says:

The gay insult isn’t because he isn’t attracted to her, it’s because he has been rumored to be gay for decades.

  14. Jen says:

She made a homophobic comment despite having gay friends. One does not preclude the other anymore than Kanye’s blackness makes his comments on slavery ok.

  15. Adrien says:

She just accidentally outed her friend the FoodgŌd, Jonathan Cheban. The guy claims to be straight as an arrow.

  16. Rando says:

    The word “lame” is ableist

  17. Ohioan says:

Her comment was problematic, full-stop. If she’s outing a man who doesn’t want to be outed (Tyson says he is not gay), then she’s trash. If she’s trying to fit a man with a more fluid sexuality into a neat little box, she’s trash. If she really believes that a black man who doesn’t find her attractive *must* be gay (no other explanation for it), she’s trash. If she’s so offended that a black man doesn’t find her attractive that she has to insult his masculinity, she’s trash.

    She’s problematic trash… but I don’t think she’s homophobic.

  18. Mel says:

For all the money that they have they wear the cheapest, tackiest looking clothes. Between the clothes and the surgeries she’s really starting to look like a blow-up doll.

  19. NightOwl says:

(is that a bodyguard?) I love to look on the guy behind her to the right.

  20. Jordan says:

She’s not homophobic but an entitled self absorbed idiot. She was using the gay slur to insult him. Which asks the question, what’s her views in being gay to weaponize it? Culture Vulture is bad.

  21. me says:

So basically any black man that doesn’t drool over her is gay? She’s so full of herself. The funny part is she didn’t deny having “work” done.

From another site I heard Kim said during her radio interview that North asked her why she was famous and she answered “because we have a TV show”. Oh poor North, one day she’ll find out the truth.

    • ElleBee says:

That rumor has surrounded him for years before he and Kim got into it. She’s wrong and so is he

  22. Nickles says:

Man publicly goes after a woman’s body = *crickets.*
Woman responds back = “OmG!! She’s the worst person ever! Lets all drag her but ignore the man that started it all with his body shaming”.

    • Jen says:

He made fun of her plastic, fake body. That is problematic.

She responded by outing his sexuality and using it as a weapon. That goes beyond problematic to trash.

It’s not defending him to say her behavior was much, much worse.

Gay men in this country are still terrorized far too often. The president she met with and “doesn’t have anything bad to say about” has stripped some of the protections they did have back. Nowhere in the world is bad plastic surgery a crime. There are still places where homosexuality is.

      • Kitten says:

        This completely.

Also the hyperbole in some of the comments here amuses me. Tyson basically said that he doesn’t find her attractive and she had the misfortune of receiving some bad plastic surgery. That’s hardly the same as calling her fat and ugly.

      • Erinn says:

I agree, Kitten. But I do think that “f–ed up her right hip” is a little bit more than necessary. He could have left it at “she is not real”. I mean, it’s still not THE worst comment, but I find it weird that he picked one specific part to zero in on. And I mean – if the Dr. did mess up, it’s probably something that bothers her – who wouldn’t be bothered by a botched operation?

So I don’t know. It’s all trashy to me.

  23. JoJo says:

She is delusional if she thinks EVERY straight man thinks her plastic surgeon created body is attractive.BTW I’ve heard rumors about Kanye’s sexuality,is it OK to refer to him as “Sis”?

  24. Wisca says:

    And Dave Chappelle looks sleepy?

  25. stacey says:

Her and her sisters are total witches.

Did anyone see what Kim and Khloe posted on snapchat to harass Sofia Richie?

Khloe posted a photo of Kourtney and Scott with the caption “A girl can dream” implying she wants them back together. Kim posted a video where she calls them “an old married couple”. No Kim, they actually had all their children out of wedlock and never married and he’s in a 1 year + relationship with someone else. Who trolls a 19 year old girl on social media? The nerve of Khloe to try to cause problems and break up Scotts relationship after Tristan cheated on her is very very rich. Khloe to make these type of post public, instead of privately telling Scott she misses him is such a loser and lives her life out on social media

These grown women are awful people

She weaponized that statement to use as an effect tool against a Black man…due to her intimate knowledge of Black men’s (heartbreaking/maddening) insecurity about their sexuality and homosexuality…and Tyson has always been considered “suspect” in the Black community…simply because he’s a model….oh and because WAY TOO many folks are ignorant as HEYLL!!!! Which…Kim knows and exploited…

If she truly loved the LGBTQIA community, she would NEVER use them as a weapon against ANYONE…people have been killed for that…which she also knows FULL WELL…(remember, she spends a LOT of time around Rappers…so she is WELL acclimated with the mindset regarding that subject matter…a mind set that will have questioning humanity if you ever heard more than five minutes of it).

I have no issue with her going after anyone for going after her…but it’s not what you do…it’s how you do it…

  27. Miss M says:

Way to out Jonathan Cheban, Kim…

    • Jordan says:

Jonathan being Jonathan outed Jonathan. Watching the show a little bit it’s as obvious for Jonathan as it was Caitlyn.

      • Miss M says:

I don’t watch it. Luckily, I haven’t seem it in years.

      • jwoolman says:

Just fitting some stereotype doesn’t define your sexuality. I don’t assume someone is gay unless they tell me directly. A lot of people are hurt by assumptions about their sexuality in our culture.

The maddening thing is that the stereotypes are just so wrong anyway. Men and women come in all different sizes and shapes and personalities and behaviors and interests, regardless of sexual preference.

  28. Jessica says:

The emojis give away what she was implying. The teacup and frog emojis refer to a classic meme of Kermit the Frog sipping Lipton tea and saying “but that’s none of my business!” She was implying she has tea (gossip) on Beckford that he’s gay.

  29. Hannah Maguire says:

It baffles me how they manage to not be deemed transphobic.

  30. Bahare says:

On a more superficial note , it looks like Kim is morphing into Amber Rose in these shots. (No offense to beautiful Amber ).

  31. RBC says:

So Kim has everyone discussing her favourite topic “Kim Kardashian “
Whenever there is a lull in people paying attention to her, out comes some statement
    to get people talking.
Considering all the rumours about her own husband, she is the last person who should be insinuating that someone is gay

  32. TW says:

I don’t think it’s body shaming to comment on bad plastic surgery.

  33. JaneFr says:

This week there was an article in a prominent and serious French media about the increase of surgery in young (americans) girls to look more like their snapchat retouched selfies. I do not know the numbers or how widespread it really is, but I do believe that talking how those surgically altered bodies and faces are not real, do not look natural or good is necessary for the young and or vulnerable mental and physical health.

    • S says:

This. I don’t think she looks “amazing” in that pic with the pink dress. I think she looks utterly unnatural; and I’m not talking about the quality of her surgery, I’m talking about her resemblance to a human being. She looks like a blow-up doll, or CGA video game character, instead of an actual human woman. It’s a beauty standard that can’t be met, because it’s not physically possible without significant surgical alteration and all manner of manipulation.

      It’s. Not. Real. Full stop.

  34. Littlefishmom says:

I don’t think she’s a homophobe. I also don’t understand why he did say that in the first place? Do they have a history? Initially he was wrong. I’m too old to know the emoji meanings and all of the “slang” but I am confused on why he made comments about her body in the first place???

    • jwoolman says:

Someone posted the picture on a different page (not Kim’s) and said it was a perfect body. He simply disagreed and said why. In other words, he was having a conversation with someone else, far away from her own Instagram account.

We are allowed to have conversations and we are allowed to disagree with others.

The alternative would be for everybody to remain silent in response to the “perfect body” post. That seems rather unreasonable to me. That’s really not how the net works. Or life in general.

  35. Rescue Cat says:

”… her body looks amazing. I would praise her for it if I genuinely thought she got her body through a combination of careful diet and exercise. But I’m pretty sure she got it through diet, exercise and plastic surgery.’

Why are you so obsessed with the process instead of the outcome? Stop surgery shaming her! 😅

  36. bap says:

    Cancel her show.

  37. Patty says:

I can’t believe people are saying Beckford is wrong. Kim puts herself and her body out there for public consumption. Not everyone is going to think she’s beautiful or find her attractive. Pointing out that someone has had bad plastic surgery, or that their shape is distorted because of it, is not body shaming. It’s pointing out the obvious. Beckford didn’t do anything worse than what people do on these threads everyday. I can’t tell you how many stories were published talking about Khloe’s Pinocchio butt and her ass of lies. F Kim. She’s always been a horrible person but people give her a pass for some bizarre reason and want to pretend that she’s harmless, no she’s not harmless.

  38. jwoolman says:

He didn’t make this comment on her own page. He was replying to a photo posted by someone else in a different place, and there really is something odd about her hip in that one. She apparently never claimed it was a photoshop fail, so I have to assume the asymmetry is real and due to her surgeries/lipo procedures. Things could be settling oddly as she ages. She must know this is a risk with transferring fat cells from one part of the body to another. The body does what the body wants. She must remember problems with unwanted fat storage in the “wrong” places during pregnancy – Mother Nature wants fat stored for such an event (she hasn’t heard of grocery stores) and puts it where she wants, not her fault if you have readjusted the arrangement of fat cells.

Kim had to be deliberately looking for her name to even find his comment. So she was intruding on another conversation to trash him for saying something really not outrageous. He just said he didn’t find her attractive and that the surgeon messed up her right hip. Both true statements and certainly not inflammatory in context.

I really don’t see why people are saying he was in the wrong here.

  39. Absurdist says:

So Kanye’s not one of her “best friends?”

  40. Snowflake says:

I think Tyson’s comment was harmless. Not all men like my body type, everyone has different taste. He just said that’s not his taste. You would think Kim would have a thicker skin, being in the public eye for so long. Idk why she gets defended so much, she’s very nasty if she doesnt get her way. I think people see her in interviews with her pre-planned script and think thats how she is. I’ve watched their show on and off for years. Although it might be scripted, their personalities shine through.
