Brad Pitt & Leo DiCaprio recorded a PSA encouraging people to vote

Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio work late into the night on the set of 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood'

Unlike his ex-wife Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt has always made his political leanings pretty clear – he’s always been a Democrat, and he’s always donated to and supported Democratic candidates. I wouldn’t say that Brad is one of those super-involved Hollywood Democrats though – to my knowledge, he’s never hosted a fundraiser, nor has he ever had boots on the ground in any campaign. He usually keeps a certain distance.

Leonardo DiCaprio is, weirdly, a bit more hands-on historically. Leo is a one-issue voter, and that issue is the environment. If there’s a Republican running on a “save the environment” platform, I’m sure Leo would consider voting for that guy, but the GOP’s official position is “screw the earth.” Leo even tried to meet with Donald Trump and persuade Trump to be more environmentally-friendly. Then Trump pulled out of the Paris Accords, so I guess Leo is like “ugh, f–k that.” Anyway, Brad and Leo aren’t just teaming up for Quentin Tarantino’s Charles Manson movie. No, they’re also teaming up for a late Get Out The Vote effort. They did a video together for NowThis News. Here you go:

On a superficial level, I’m glad that Brad’s hair looks so good in this video, because the photos from the Once Upon A Time In Hollywood set always make him look… not great. Even Leo looks good in this video. So… good for them. I mean, it can’t hurt. Which reminds me of something I’ve been thinking about for a few weeks… if you need someone like Brad Pitt or Leo D to encourage you or remind you to vote, then YOU are the problem. Did that sound too bitchy? I’m sorry, my nerves are on edge and I don’t want to read any more articles about why eligible voters are too lazy/bored/neurotic/stupid to vote. So… go vote. Please.

That SNL skit on voting is pretty much how I feel right now. Just go vote, people. Just vote.

Question the public should be asking why is not ever photograph with at least on child?

Going into the 3rd year without being seen with his children.

I have a better question, why is he delaying his case with the NOLA residents? Scum talks about doing the right things and the rights of people, he silenced the residents he claimed to want to help and had interns and workers try to get them to keep quiet while they got sick. Only when the lawsuit came out did he have his people respond properly and say they would fix it. The architect he is trying to sue said he did it pro bono and he claims he paid the architect. His past lawsuit with the lighting designer he tried to get credit for her work and then when she sued and won he changed the narrative and said his accountant forgot to pay her. What a liar he is. Makes me wonder what happened to the said money that was raised that the architect said he didn’t take. He was so happy to take credit for everything when it brought him good publicity, now he won’t publically acknowledge the wrong doings. Has his people do it for him and try to shift the blame on others.

THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Real people…ended up losing EVERYTHING TWICE because of this horror that I lay DIRECTLY AT HIS FEET! Because if he wasn’t trying to be so…FUTURISTIC and so…EXTRA…he would have dealt with a known builder who uses tried and trusted building materials or hooked up with “Habitat For Humanity” who ALREADY has the infrastructure in place to get people in homes safely…viably and quickly…

He cares about the public voting as much as he cares about the residents of NOLA. He is such a phony.

When Swift encouraged folks to vote, it was all good.
Same with these two and I am not a huge fan of either but if they have a platform and are using it positively then go 4 it!

Well, I won’t shade them on this.

I knew someone once who said if you need reminding the day of to vote-I don’t’ want you voting. he was assuming if you haven’t been paying attention to the issues or the candidates then I don’t’ want you making a spur of the moment decision based on a 1 minute google search. of course those with kids, busy lives in general could easily forget that was the day to vote and not necessarily because they’re selfish, bored, lazy, etc. also I live in the south an waited in line 1 1/2 hours to vote on Friday so asking a single parent with young kids to do that is a lot.

Voting should be simple and easy. Republicans make it hard because they know if everyone voted they would lose.

I will believe Leo cares more about the public voting than Pitt. Pit is just following Leo and Hollyweird , Pit is Not original.

  8. Steffer says:

I always thought Leo was a one issue guy too. Has he ever shown any support for other important issues?

  9. FC says:

This video looks like they were filmed in separate rooms then edited together.

I can’t with Leo being Mr. Save the Environment when he only flies on private jets. Pitt needs to own up to his problems in NOLA. But go vote!

OMG Brad is wearing the layered, double T-shirt look popularized by “Rachel” on Friends!

For God’s sake, will you please stop using the photo of him from the car. We get it, you are team Angie.
