Will Brad Pitt get a big, splashy Cannes premiere for ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’?

Brad Pitt arrives at Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle airport

Here are some photos of Brad Pitt arriving at Charles de Gaulle airport in France earlier today. I have no idea if he’s going to hang out in Paris, or whether he’s just taking a stopover before he heads to Chateau Miraval, the French estate he still owns with Angelina Jolie. It’s felt at times like Angelina and Brad have joint custody of Miraval too – she’s gone to Miraval with the kids a few times since she filed for divorce, and some of you even said that she filmed her Guerlain commercial there as well. Brad has to check in at Miraval periodically because the chateau now produces an award-winning boutique wine. But as I said, I have no idea if Brad is actually going to Miraval or if he’s staying in Paris for a while.

Speaking of Brad-in-France, there are persistent rumors that Brad’s new film will be premiering at the Cannes Film Festival in May. Once Upon a Time In Hollywood is Quentin Tarantino’s Charles Manson/summer of ‘69 movie, with Brad and Leonardo DiCaprio playing the leads (or something). Tarantino has a long history of premiering his films at Cannes, sometimes in competition, sometimes out of competition. I strongly suspect that OUATIH will not only go to Cannes, but it will be in competition, and it will likely be the first-night premiere. Come on, Cannes organizers would love nothing more for the first night of the festival to feature Brad Pitt, Leo DiCaprio and Margot Robbie on the croisette.

Beyond that, there’s not a lot going on with Brad Pitt gossip. Ever since he and Angelina signed their more permanent custody arrangement at the end of 2018, it’s been pretty quiet around them. Brad wanted us to talk about Jennifer Aniston, but I’m still not convinced that was anything other than a quick hit of PR for both of them. I do think he’ll end up with an official girlfriend sometime soon though. Maybe he’ll debut her at Cannes.

I’m shocked that the negative press stopped as soon as Angelina got the majority of the custody. It was awful.
Also if Brad is really recovering from alcohol, is it a good idea to go to his winery? Don’t they do beer tasting there?

  2. Amide says:

    I hope it does.

And I hope Luke Perry’s family’s also at the premiere.❤💕

    • Hmm says:

I wouldn’t be surprised if Brad used Luke’s kids for publicity like he used Chris Cornell’s but he’s private when it comes to his own kids. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

      Yeah, right!

  3. Michelle says:

My most anticipated film of 2019

    • Maya says:

Not even top 10 on my list.

There are some fine actors & actresses in the movie but nothing will make me watch a Tarrantino movie again.

He is disgusting and he enabled Weinstein for years. He should be cancelled by all.

Just want the divorce to be over so that Angie can get away from all the dating and Aniston drama. She has moved on.

  5. Lady D says:

With the grief Quentin has been getting lately over his treatment of women and his last film tanking, he really needs this film to do well. The advertising is going to be everywhere and he’s probably planning the biggest opening of all time at Cannes. The over-the-top advertising is going to be for QT’s benefit, more than Brad’s or Leo’s.

Its fascinating to me that this is a film that is really controversial on the outside, but at the same time its the safest movie to come out of hollywood in years. This is one of those movies that is guaranteed to get great reviews and good box office numbers, but oh how I would gloat if it tanked. Quentins years long caping for Weinstein and Polanski just deserves a good scoop of bad karma.

Will not support BP or QT films.

It’s not even HIS movie. There are about 100 well known actors in that film. Lmao the movie that is HIS has been pushed back twice and needs reshoots. I was thinking it would be funny if they cut some of his scenes and added other actors to it. Something must be wrong with it for it to be being pushed back so many times and to need re-shoots. The movie is a father/son space movie… he filmed it during the height of Angelinas children needing therapy because of his actions.

He desperately needs a hit and if that movie isn’t a hit wow. Something is wrong. But I’m sure he’ll take credit and maybe then he’ll stfu.

Anyway, do y’all think he’s had some work done?

This is him from a couple of weeks ago.

    🤷🏽‍♀️😇

As for his dating, It won’t be an A list actress. None of them want him. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

It will be a desperate 20 something D lister.

I read “will Brad Pitt get a PIG” and got very curious about THAT side of a midlife crisis. Then I realized my mistake I lost interest.

I think he’ll debut a new girlfriend (hopefully a real one, not another Neri/Charlize/Jen attempt) when this movie comes out, because he needs some good PR and a box office hit. And he has a long history of using his personal life to promote his films.

I will not be seeing this film, for multiple reasons. I’ll be curious to see how it does.

  12. Coool says:

Good pr or not he had been missed by those who cared from movies and the scenes no? It will be nice to see him again doing interview and promotion…personal or not… some like it or angry…lol

  13. OriginalCarol says:

I think Pitt will lay low on this one and Leo/QT will do the heavy lifting for the movie.

He will bring out his new woman when he does the promos for his Ad Astra. It will distract from the real story of father and son relationship. Let’s see if it will flop just like his last two movies.
