Thomas Markle says, without irony, that Meghan & Harry are ‘cheapening’ monarchy

Good Morning Britain

If you ever want to feel your blood pressure spike, go through our Thomas Markle archives and just remind yourself just how awful he is. Thomas Markle is the dictionary definition of a toxic parent, a narcissist who uses his platform to abuse his adult daughter. Thomas still wants to party like it’s 2018, when he was getting paid big-time to set up “paparazzi” photoshoots and give endless interviews smearing his daughter. Thomas and his actions are at the heart of Meghan’s lawsuit against the Mail on Sunday – Thomas sold Meghan’s letter to be published by the MoS, and that whole catastrophe showed (again) why Thomas is a serial liar and an abusive, toxic man. Last week, the British press made a big deal about how Thomas could come to the UK to “testify against Meghan.” To which I say, bring it on. Thomas’s story falls apart under mild questioning. Anyway, Toxic Tom is hellbent on just being the f–king worst, which is why he ran (waddled) to give a fresh interview in the wake of Sussexit.

The Duchess of Sussex’s estranged father has spoken in depth for the first time about the Megxit crisis – and accused his daughter of ‘cheapening’ the Royal Family and throwing away ‘every girl’s dream’ for money. In a TV documentary, Thomas Markle describes Meghan and Harry’s behaviour as embarrassing, says they are ‘turning into lost souls’ and, in a reference to a discount American supermarket giant, adds: ‘They are turning it [the Royal Family] into a Walmart with a crown on.’ He added: ‘This is not the girl I raised.’

He tells the Channel 5 documentary: ‘When they got married they took on an obligation, and the obligation is to be part of the Royals and to represent the Royals. And it would be foolish for them not to. This is one of the greatest long-living institutions ever. They are destroying it, they are cheapening it, making it shabby… they shouldn’t be doing this.’

The 90-minute documentary, Thomas Markle: My Story, explores the background to what it calls his ‘complicated’ relationship with his daughter and their dramatic fallout in the run-up to her wedding to Prince Harry in May 2018. He says: ‘With Meghan and Harry separating from the Royals… it’s disappointing because she actually got every girl’s dream. Every young girl wants to become a princess and she got that and now she’s tossing that away… it looks like she’s tossing that away for money.’

And referring to their refurbished home at Frogmore Cottage near Windsor Castle, he says: ‘Apparently $3 million and a 26-room home isn’t enough for them… it is kind of embarrassing to me.’

Mr Markle, who has not spoken to the Duchess since before the wedding, which he missed because of heart surgery, says he believes their relationship is now beyond repair. He tells the programme: ‘I can’t see her reaching out to me, especially now, and in light of what I’m saying now she probably won’t, or Harry for that matter. But I think both of them are turning into lost souls at this point. I don’t know what they’re looking for. I don’t think they know what they are looking for.’

[From The Daily Mail]

Imagine being this hypocritical toad and actually saying the words “They are destroying it, they are cheapening it, making it shabby” on camera. I’ve felt for some time now that Thomas Markle is basically an “actor for hire” for the British tabloid media, in that they just write out a script or talking points for him and he sits there and recites it. It’s just pathetic from start to finish and look at that, my blood pressure just spiked. Disgusting piece of trash. I hope Meghan deals with him BIG TIME in the coming months.

  1. Harla says:

But didn’t he refer to the royal family as a “cult” not all that long ago? How his story changes whenever he’s presented with an opportunity to trash his daughter.

    • Emilee says:

He absolutely did! Hypocrite! The royal family is a “cult” but all of a sudden it’s the greatest institution that ever lived?! He’s vile! I wonder how much he got paid for the interview.

      • Sally says:

This dude needs to keep his BIG nose out of what is not his business. His daughter has reason’s why she does not want anything to do with him. Or the rest of that family, as well.

    • Yes he did badmouth the Monarchy, Harla. But just like the tabloids and, anymore, much of the the mainstream press just repeating the tabloids without fact checking, he just says whatever he wants and contradicts himself when it suits his agenda. Every time he opens his mouth, I hurt for Meghan. What a waste of space he is. And, I think he can take the PROBABLY out of any comment he makes about a reconnection with Meghan. I think he has made sure that their relationship is over and done.

    • Lucy De Blois says:

You know, forgive me if I’m wrong but I think the problem here is not trashing the daughter anymore. Of course, before it was, for a big buck from the tabloids. Now, I think it’s mainly because he can kiss goodbye for his tall dreams of making a regular huge incomme out of the royals. He’s spitting out fire and poison because, as regular citizens, far from the Big Brother all-seeing eye of the paps, it’s going to be more and more difficult to make a buck.

And I think he’s going to milk the Sussexes for a long long time. Because even if they are gone from the arena, they will never be forgotten as long as the RF needs someone to throw under the bus.
And these days they certainly need. I still find the timing of the Sussexes exit too much convinient with the Andrews’ “push out” of the RF. Boy! It couldn’t happen in a more confortable opportunity to remove his interesting friendship to the backseat of the news.

  2. minx says:

Oh STFU you despicable bloated POS.
And I’m sure they gave him some talking points before he went on.

    • Cali says:

I agree with your entire assessment, and cab you imagine him coming to the UK to testify against his daughter, but not show up for her wedding? Wow

    • Cali says:

And of course they paid him.

    • josephine says:

While normally I think we can’t ever really know what has happened within a family, he and his daughter (Meghan’s sister or half-sister, or whatever she is) are making their own characters very, very clear. I don’t care how much you think a family member has wronged you, you don’t trash them in the media every chance you get, and for money no less. That he is willing to sell out his daughter for a few bucks says nothing at all about Meghan but plenty about him. Really heartbreaking that a dad is willing to stoop so low.

      • Lucy De Blois says:

Sammy has a severe pathology. Any professional is going to say the same just reading the articles or, even better, watching the videos.
The chances for her to get treatment are zero, because this kind of pathology has as a symptom the denial.
MM can’t risk to be near her; even with all her smartness, and life experience and all, she’s going to be eaten alive. Maybe she has millions of other reasons to not have contact with “Sis” but her sister’s disfunction should be the main reason.

  3. HK9 says:

That comment from Thomas Markle really is ironic.

  4. Sophie says:

I, too, have a narcissistic trash father. Well, both my parents are. This is totally the sort of thing they’d do if I had any level of fame. Instead, they just refuse to allow me access to childhood items and gifts from relatives, threaten to take my children, and say really crude things to me. After everything Thomas Markle has done, I’m sure Meghan barely has the emotional energy to muster up much of a reaction. Keep on digging that hole, Thomas. You won’t get the reaction and attention from her you desperately want.

    • Snazzy says:

My mom and sister too. I swear I get slightly triggered whenever I see an article about him – my mom and sis would do exactly the same.as he does if I was famous. If I was rich they’d be trying to milk me for every dime, saying they are owed. Actually, they do that anyway. Stay strong Sophie, keep those toxic parents out.

I’m sure Meghan will deal with toxic Tom through the lawsuit with the papers, but in the end as long as they give him a platform, he will never stop. It’s what people like him, my mom, your parents do. We have to work and try not to let their vile behaviour destroy us.

    • ME says:

I’ve got so many toxic family members it’s insane.

    • Lucy De Blois says:

I’m very, very, very sorry to hear about your parents. I know what it is and I congratulate you for your self control to go on, have other interests and all. People facing this ordeal, sometimes have the impression they don’t live, they just survive. Well… by my own experience take that: keep on surviving, kicking for the surface, one day the things will be fixed.

  5. Emily2 says:

    UGH. Not him again.

I hope this lawsuit finds a way to punish him. Imagine hating your own daughter this much.

  6. kelleybelle says:

If the media want to continue paying these shit-heaps for their worthless opinions, what can we do? It would be merciful if this abusive POS just passed in his sleep. The other two will get theirs too. I just hope we get to watch.

  7. Dimsum Mum says:

What are the chances that Pa Markle received cash/’incentives’ to appear on TV?

And people are surprised MM is estranged from most members of her family?

    • Molly says:

Yes! I hope every person who screamed that it was Meghans fault for not trying harder with him watches this. THIS is who he is. THIS is why Meghan doesn’t have a relationship with him. Believe people when they draw boundaries.

  8. Eyeroll says:

Yikes. Why does this mess continue saying terrible things if he knows it’ll push Meghan and Harry further away?? What a loon.

    • Sophie says:

Because he wants to abuse them into compliance with his wishes. Narcissists aren’t smart.

      • kelleybelle says:

Right on. And he’s doing it for spite because he can’t get his way and guilt her into doing his bidding like before. He wanted money and recognition and got neither through his own very foolish, hateful and greedy actions. Bank of Meghan closed in 2017 I believe. That’s why he digs at Harry in the press because I believe Harry had something to do with that.

  9. Michael says:

Isn’t his son a felon or in jail? Maybe he should spend some time working on his other children. Of course then nobody would be paying him or giving him attention. Also I am pretty sure Meghan’s mother did most of the “raising” which is why she is a class act and not liker her half sister. At least his relevancy will wain when they are no longer part of the royal family. I wish this guy was younger so Harry could punch him in the mouth

    • Sass says:

Age is of no consequence. If you act a fool, you get punched in the mouth. That’s my philosophy anyway.

    • Lucy De Blois says:

I think he doesn’t have time for the poor side of the family. I mean, the loosers like Sammy or his son.

Sass, I agree 2.000% with you. A bad apple is a bad apple, no matter its age.

  10. kerwood says:

When the people who hate the Duchess for having the audacity to be the Black woman that a prince fell in love with look in the mirror, they should see this man’s face. THAT’S who they are. They might not be as malignant or as horrible, but Thomas Markle (and Piers Handling) is the poster-boy for all of those who want to tear Meghan Markle down. Hate is NEVER pretty.

  11. Lori says:

We all have family members like this, might not be immediate family but weve all got them on a front porch somewhere flappy their gums as the community walks by and hears their bullshit.

  12. yokoohno says:

Obviously every word out of his mouth is a goddamn mess, but I’m just going to focus on one thing he said, that Meghan is throwing away every girl’s dream (giant eyeroll.)

THIS is every girl’s dream you idiot, to have a husband that loves and supports you and stands up to toxic family and traditions. This is the damn dream!

My husband took some time to learn to be able to stand up for what he wants with his fam and is still working on it, meanwhile I was blamed as the machiavellian woman not letting him see his family because we split xmas in half and other horrible transgressions, like existing. Once he stood up to them our own communication and relationship became stronger too.

It is so awesome to see H&M stand up to bullies and put up boundaries with their fam, what a great example they’re setting. Her piece of $#!+ dad can stay mad.

    • ME says:

I have to correct you though. Not every girl’s dream is to get married.

      • MsIam says:

True that, @ME. But if she does get married, she damn well would rather have a Harry than a Thomas for sure. And it wouldn’t matter if he was a prince or not.

      • ME says:

        @ MsIam

Ofcourse ! Or SHE might want a MEGHAN not a Harry ! Let’s not forget our LGBTQ friends.

      • yokoohno says:

@ME you’re so right! That should have just said a partner who loves and supports you, or honestly just love and support, not everyone wants a partner. For example, not sure Doria would want one after being with that piece of trash… Thanks for catching!

    • Erinn says:

“THIS is every girl’s dream you idiot, to have a husband that loves and supports you and stands up to toxic family and traditions. This is the damn dream!”

Pretty much, spot on. I might have dreamed of becoming a princess… between ages 4 and 8. I don’t think the vast majority of functioning adult women would really WANT to be a princess in the realistic sense. It’s not like it is in children’s books, and anyone who thinks it is like that is delusional. A lot of PEOPLE would 100% throw away that royal family nonsense for a partner who loves and supports them. I mean, lets be honest, Harry threw it away himself.

      • Guest with Cat says:

@Erinn, well I wish I could be a princess now. I’m resting a sprained ankle and have nothing better to do, so I’d love to do a Quantum Leap into the identity of one Kate Middleton and give that woman a spine for a week. I don’t know how much I could get away with but it would be fun to see what I could get up to before I’m stopped.

Tom Markle is a pathetic toad. Do real, living breathing thinking human beings really fall for his bullshit and feel sorry for him? Back when I read the Fail, I assumed comments in his favor were by employees paid to write support for him. It’s so obvious what he’s doing so, really…are there actual people who support his nonsense?

      • Mego says:

Guest, some guy on twitter admonished me not to judge TM because we don’t know what goes on in a family blah blah blah. Lots of idiots out there who have sympathy for TM and abusers in general.

      • Lucy De Blois says:

Maybe it’s HIS dream to find a rich princess. And he’s pushing that secret desire on everyone. lol.

    • otaku fairy.... says:

      Agreed.

  13. Kath says:

Besides what a terrible person and father he is I really take issue with the plot point that she’s throwing away every girls dream. GOOD. F that old story. Don’t take dreams that are forced on you and come with pain and punishment. Honestly exactly why she should be leaving- show the world your worth as a woman isn’t in the stereotypes you’ve been given.

  14. BrickyardUte says:

I have heard rumblings about how Piers Morgan might be in serious trouble with M&H’s lawsuit against the press. Anyone know anything about this?

I hope they nail him to the floor. He is the poster boy for white male privilege anger and I want to see him held accountable for his slander and abuse of press against Meghan.

    • aquarius64 says:

If he is, dollar bet is he KNOWS that Bad Dad faked the heart attack and coached him in the interviews. I still bet Evil Papa Smurf tried to blackmail the royal family for no more interviews. Piers probably put him up to that too.

    • GuestOne says:

Yes Piers’ current& former papers are being sued by Harry& Meghan& Harry’s phone hacking actions covers time when Piers was editor of the Mirror. Byline Investigates has interesting articles on these. A few current royal commentators like Katie Nicholls& Dan Wooten are named as at least getting stories via hacking. Harry’s action may allege Piers& his board were involved in hacking Diana& her associates before and after she passed.

Guardian has a good piece on this https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2020/jan/19/there-is-a-reason-why-royals-demonised-but-wont-read-all-about-it-prince-harry-meghan-markle

I think Piers and other editors are becoming more unhinged as it became clear that Harry and Meghan aren’t dropping the lawsuits.

As for Thomas he’s got a TV documentary coming. He’s owned by the tabloids- you can tell they coach him eg using chav which I doubt is commonly used by Americans& they bring him out to deflect or take up their side eg criticism that coverage is racist. Not sure how anyone can defend his behaviour.

Hope his silver coins are worth it.

    • Chica71 says:

Piers nearly lost it on Twitter this weekend after the announcement..he seemed to want to backtrack because he didnt realize he was losing his meal ticket. I do think that he tried to get with Meghan and she turned him down . .. his ego and nastiness is way too personal to be just gossipmongering.

      • Pix says:

I agree that Piers is way too personally involved. I hope he goes down with the lawsuit. He seems to be sh!tt!ng his pants.

On another note, Meghan’s father is the worst. Anyone who questions why she does not have a relationship with him just needs to look at this latest interview. What loving parent would ever say these things to the world?

      • Moose says:

Piss Moron was sacked from CNN for sexual harrassment – he doesn;t take rejection well…

      • I don’t think it’s about Meghan being a meal ticket for Piers. I actually think he rolled into scary stalker territory right before her wedding. Every post is worse and more unguarded than the previous one. If you don’t think this is criminal look at everything he’s been saying and insert someone else’s name every time he says Meghan. What if he said Kate, Zara, Eugenie …….how long would he have been allowed to do this. He would have been shut down PDQ. But, because he is saying MEGHAN it’s all good and not criminal behavior.

    • Mich says:

Meghan and Harry have different lawsuits going. Meghan’s case over the publication of the letter deals with a) copyright infringement and b) the UK Data Protection Act which says that personal information cannot be published without permission. The Mail and others will likely say that the law does not apply because of “public interest” but that seems to conflate what “public interest” really means with “public curiosity/titillation”. Her copyright case is, according to most analysis I’ve seen, a slam dunk. The second part of the suit seems more up to debate. I’ve read…but don’t actually know if true…that if the court rules in her favor on the second part the penalty could start at GBP20M and go all the way up to 4% of the publication’s global revenue.

      • Lucy De Blois says:

But what I’ve read on Guardian’s article is that few people know of Piers being involved on the phone hacking business, and not only Harry’s but other people as well.

    • Sunshine says:

I think they are all in trouble that’s why the hard anti Sussex push. I must say, at this point, I don’t think highly of Prince Charles either. If I had a wish, it would be that MM or Harry has a job lined up and can lay low for a couple of years ….. like the Obamas. These bottom feeders are making money off their backs and it’s disgusting.

      • Lucy De Blois says:

I don’t think highly of any of them… never mind Charles. Sorry if you are from UK, but the RF acted disgracefully on this business of H&M, and even worse dealing with Andrew’s “little” problem.

    • Lucy De Blois says:

Yes. A commentator here gave a link to the Guardian. Excellent article. certainly gives you ideas. And you understand how important is to DM and.. Piers (just writting the name… ugh!) to not let go the trashing on H&M.
I don’t even remember which article it is the link. I think if you google Guardian, letter, Sussex you’ll get it, it’s very recent. Kind of 19th or 21th of January.

  15. BlueSky says:

Not only having to deal with a toxic parent who has no problem gaslighting his daughter and sell her out constantly to press, she also had to deal with abusive in laws, RR, courtiers, etc. it is no wonder Meghan has not had a mental breakdown. I pray both Meghan and Harry give a middle finger to all this and live a life of peace and happiness.

    • Lady D says:

IKR? Her strength of mind is amazing. Goals for sure.

    • MsIam says:

Like her mother supposedly said, she is a strong woman, she will be ok. I admire her greatly for her restraint as well as not losing her mind in this.

      • Lucy De Blois says:

I’m very sorry but I almost envy the support she gets from her mother and Harry.
Standing ovation for both, because her mother (if she wasn’t the right type of person) could be focused on status, and Harry could be unsure of making so radical to break out of his family.

  16. Ali says:

Why are people reaching out to him?

He was nothing to add and clearly he has no access.

    • Sass says:

He’s like Senator Lindsey Graham: he talks because he likes the sound of his own voice. Anything for attention.

    • Lucy De Blois says:

Very well observed. But he certainly feeds the trolls. Actually, he’s a very good and tasty meal for them….

  17. ME says:

I just don’t understand WHY Meghan’s mom married this man and had a child with him. WTF did she see in him? He’s a real piece of sh*t. The Royal family cheapened itself yearsssss ago dude. Your daughter actually brought some class to it.

    • josephine says:

I would say that the family did much more than cheapen itself. This crap with Andrew is downright sickening. It’s no one’s dream to be associated with those people.

    • Lucy De Blois says:

Well…. Even the most equilibrated and mature women do mistakes… LOL

  18. Le4Frimaire says:

Now that Meghan and Harry have stepped back and moved on, there is absolutely no need for Thomas Markle. If she never speaks to him again, it will be too soon.

    • Lucy De Blois says:

I’m very sorry to contradict you, but Toxic Thomas is still necessary. For the tabloids. The claim H&M put on them because of the letter and the hacking is far from finishing, any reinforcement is welcome. I’m afraid that my fear is becoming reallity. The RF (KP/BP/CH) plus the press will hammer on H&M as much as possible according their own agendas.
The RF has interest on keeping the Sussexes alive on midia to hide: WorkShy William, Rosy Cheeks Charlie, and most of all, Andy’s little pecadillos… you name it. I would change what Grumpy Cat said: so many things to hide, so little time…
The press, according to Guardian, is in big s***t because they have a bunch of claims on hacking. It seems a very nasty business. And Toxic is a very good fuel for trolls.

  19. TheOriginalMia says:

I see Sky News went dumpster diving again. The man is pure trash. He’s emotionally abusing his daughter and Sky News is enabling him. But he’s speaking into the void because that place in Meghan’s mind and heart where she’s hurt by him has been walled off, sealed off forever. He can’t touch her ever again.

  20. Willz (not THAT one) says:

Mewling quim never seemed more appropriate.

Kaiser, your first sentence is so dead f*king on, that I really can’t add much more.

  21. Bohemian Angel says:

He uses the word ‘chavvy’ I didn’t think Americans used that word. Its a derogatory word here basically meaning trashy, coming from a council house and quite violent.
I’ve never heard an American use that before, I could be wrong, if not, I wonder if he was being coached on what to say….

    • Sarah says:

Someone above suggested that he’s just being given a script and I think that’s spot on.

    • Guest2.0 says:

No American I know uses that word. Most likely he was coached on what to say. That man is a worthless POS.

      • Lady D says:

I’ve never heard the word used either. Not in 59 years, and I spent a great deal of those years working with the general public and for 5 years with an international public.

    • Emmitt says:

Americans don’t use the word “chav,” “chavvy” etc. TrashDaddy’s use of the word “chav” and “she threw away every girl’s dream to be a princess” are indicators to me that he was coached by a British person on what to say. American girls don’t grow up aspiring to be a princess…we have no monarchy over here.

      • Tourmaline says:

I see your point but Disney Princess type fandom is still a big thing for US girls. Don’t think Meghan back in the day was fawning over being rescued by a prince though—she was smart kickass and a feminist from an early age despite having this lump of a father who spent years on the set of the tacky misogynist sitcom Married with Children.

      • MsIam says:

I know years ago, they used the word “shiv” (sp?) which I think meant a knife, like the kind that is used in a fight. I thought that was what the British word meant too? But yeah, that is not a common word here at all.

    • Tourmaline says:

Good catch chavvy is not a word really used in America. From his scripted talking points or else from spending so much time with his UK tabloid handlers that he is picking up their lingo.

    • Lila says:

100% spot on. I’ve only got a vague definition in my head when I hear it. I wouldn’t use it to describe someone!

    • minx says:

      No American says “chavvy,” period.

      • Enny says:

As an American, I know what “Chav” means, but wouldn’t use it as it’s not really part of our lexicon. No way that troll TM even knew what it meant before being handed that script. You’d think the writers would realize that “chav” is a distinctly British term, and not something an American boomer living in Baja would ever use in conversation 🤦🏼‍♀️

    • What. . .now? says:

No, that’s not a word we use at all.

    • Bunny says:

Americans generally don’t know what “chavvy” means.

I hope that the garbagey Markles are sued, and that any coaching and financial agreements with the tabs becomes public knowledge.

Some of the tabs have denied paying, but a clever lawyer could extract the information.

My guess, based on the way denials are worded, is that they have third parties paying.

    • Kebbie says:

We don’t use it. I had to look it up. He’s been coached by someone who doesn’t know American slang, and he’s apparently too dumb to correct it and say it in his own words.

    • Lucy De Blois says:

      Bohemian:

Bingo!!! Like we say, you found the hard evidence. Now, finally we have solid proof!!

The articles aren’t written or a statement from him. He just sells the name; the helpfull people from the tabloids will do the rest.

  22. khaveman says:

    What a toad. Go away.

  23. Jumpingthesnark says:

He is terrible. I bet he is getting paid for the garbage, hope it comes out in the lawsuits!

  24. S808 says:

BM is so sick for continuing to give this man a platform to abuse her.

  25. lowercaselila says:

Daddy Dearest again. Why would a father publicaly shame his daughter? Perhaps Thomas Markle should take a page out of Harry’s book and try to protect his family, rather spend time smearing them on TV and in the courts.

  26. Belinda says:

Wait, what?!?! There is a 90-minute-documentary coming about this trash man?!?!?!
Am I understanding that right?? That cannot be right??
How much money are they paying him? What photos were there left to sell??
Who are the people who would do a 90-minute-doc about this toxic trash man?!?

  27. Great article by a psychologist at forbes.com. Just search the website for MEGHAN and scroll down to this article: How ‘Megxit’ Can Help Anyone Get Unstuck — By Todd Essig Contributor, Leadership Strategy. Worth the read.

  28. Mabs A'Mabbin says:

All I know is that pedophilia does wonderful things for family units. It’s such a respectable line of work and takes years to hone perfection.

  29. Charfromdarock says:

    What a tool.

  30. Lowrider says:

Thomas is a tool for the UK tabloid press to batter Meghan.

Oh boy, this dude, when will he go away. You have to believe he was like this with her when she was growing up and she probably hoped he would behave at least for the wedding. I wonder if she didn’t want to invite him and maybe the BRF told her she had to at least extend an invitation. Or maybe she did in hopes it would spur him to be on his best behavior.

But there’s a reason she never introduced Harry to her dad before the wedding, he’s mentally unstable and narcissistic. I will admit I thought it was very strange she hadn’t taken time to fly to Mexico or at least fly her dad out to England to meet Harry at least once before the wedding. How awkward would it have been had he only met Harry at the wedding! That’s just weird to have your father and future husband meet RIGHT before you get married. But that seemed to be how things were going to unfold until of course he effed it up spectacularly by staging paparazzi pictures and all the rest. She knew he would most likely let her down and probably wanted to shield Harry from that. Thank God for Doria!

I think the RF told her it’s “not the done thing” to not have your father walk you down the aisle, and she did her best to include her father in the “done” way, despite knowing he was an ass who would most likely embarrass her. I don’t think she was surprised by anything that happened, nor was Harry, who encouraged her to go along with the “done” way if possible but felt absolutely no urgency to meet the narcissist who raised his soon-to-be wife. The RF realized, after the pap photo scandal, that TM couldn’t possibly be involved in the wedding, but they essentially blamed Meghan and made it her problem to fix because it was just SO TACKY to have such a gauche family, and SHE needed to handle it. But she (and Harry) knew it would happen. I’m sure the RF was warned that TM was a tacky ass narcissist, but they were more worried in the “tradition” and what is expected of a royal wedding in the CofE.

According to either Meghan or Thomas’ letter that was published in the Fail, her and Harry did have someone go to Mexico to pick him up so that he could come to London before the wedding but he refused to meet the person& get in the car. She apparently was begging him to come to London& said everything would be taken care of.

Given his pattern of behaviour around the wedding I wouldn’t be surprised if Meghan had tried to arrange for THomas& Harry to meet similar to how Harry spent time with Doria before the engagement, but Thomas flaked. I remember before the wedding there was talk about Doria walking Meghan down the aisle or Meghan just walking herself down. Wouldn’t be surprised if that was what Meghan had wanted knowing her father was a risk, but courtiers insisted on doing the traditional thing.

Prince Andrew is a pedo, was customer of Epstein. But, thank goodness we have this POS telling us about “how things are.” The sleaze is just oozing.

He plays on the naive folks who truly believe that if you’re not close to your parents – you must have psychological issues. It’s not always the case. I’m sure he’s making a good chunk of change off psychopathic media sources who only seek to publish click bait for the masses. I cannot imagine how horrible this has been for Meghan. I support her decision to make boundaries for her own sanity. It’s a shame that his drivel (and her horrid sister’s drivel) has fueled the hatred like throwing gas on a fire.
