Prince Harry & Jon Bon Jovi met up at the Abbey Road Studio today

Prince Harry is back in London today. He was in Edinburgh a few days ago for an event with Travalyst, the eco-tourism site (?) he introduced last year. And today’s event is for another ginger-prince brainchild: the Invictus Games, which are happening in The Hague in May. Harry has been doing photo-ops and stunts for his signature event for months already, and today, Jon Bon Jovi joined him at Abbey Road Studio. This was what Harry was promoting with his Instagram a week ago – Bon Jovi, with the Invictus Choir, recording a version of the song “Unbroken” to benefit the Invictus Games.

Harry looked cute in his blue shirt and what looks like simple black pants (I don’t think they’re jeans). Jon rocked his leather coat, because of course he did. Harry is looking very trim these days, right? Healthy eating, clean living, lots of walks with Meghan and Archie.

Jon and Harry even did the Beatles-walk across Abbey Road.

The shallow part: Harry is looking great!

The less shallow part: This is a fantastic way to get the buzz going for the Invictus Games. The opening and closing ceremonies are already sold out!

    • carmen says:

Yes, he is looking great. Must have something to do with being away from the toxic rf.
Even more shallow note: I think he looks better without the beard. It makes him look much older than he is imo.

    • Yes! And I love Jon Bon Jovi. He and his wife are an incredibly philanthropic couple. He literally earmarks millions every year for giving back.

      • carmen says:

I know, refreshing isn’t it? They were on 60 minutes – or a similar program (maybe the Sunday morning news show on CBS? – a while back and did an interview about the “pay what you can” restaurant. Very generous couple – and humble too.

      • Enny says:

Bon Jovi is good people. Both his parents (I understand) were military. This means something – A LOT – to him personally. Just shows how highly esteemed Prince Harry is in the military and veteran communities, that he can attract talent of this caliber, talent that “gets it,” truly, wholeheartedly supports Harry’s cause, and recognizes that Harry’s work provides a real, genuine, valuable service to wounded veterans. ❤️❤️❤️

    • Where'sMyTiara says:

Harry looks SO HAPPY. He looks lighter in spirit.
Workshy must be cracking molars grinding his teeth as he seethes. Heh.

  2. HK9 says:

I’m sure people are going to drag him for this, but I think it’s fun and a great way to promote the games. Good on him.

    • M says:

No one should complain about Harry supporting veterans in conjunction with other people who offer to do the same. Of course I’m sure they will, which will be further proof that they are pieces of dog sh*t.

    • C-Shell says:

Yeah, I did a stupid thing this morning and clicked on the Fail’s article, which was benign I think, but the comments were horrible…how pathetic Handbag Harry is, how he’s learning how to be irrelevant from Bon Jovi … BON JOVI IRRELEVANT???

      • Mabs A'Mabbin says:

I think every Fail poster hasn’t had a proper sh@t in years.

      • Guest2.0 says:

@Mabs. So you’re saying the Fail posters are just full of it?😂

      • C-Shell says:

        Mabs! Ma’am! 🤣🤣

      • smcollins says:

@c-shell Right?! Bon Jovi! Who’s seen a million faces and rocked them all for over 30 years & counting.

      • Bettyrose says:

Bon Jovi was irrelevant when he was hair band bubble gum pop (cute AF tho). In the *decades* since then, his music has matured, his political voice grown louder, and he’s evolved into fully relevant. Come at me anyone needing to die on this hill.

    • Guest says:

Hes helping wounded veterans all over the world. Harry took invictus to global status. Unlike other members of his former family he actually builds on his ideas. The British media can stew on that, because it’s all they have left

      • Chanteloup says:

Yes, this is why I love Harry <3

      • SM says:

And Jon Bon is feeding homeless people in his hometown. I have a soft spot for him from his In these arms era.
As for Harry, no one ever will convince me he is good looking or hot. But that is the beautiful thing we all differ in our taste and that is ok.

  3. Becks1 says:

Harry looks great – relaxed, happy, and no blue suede shoes! lol

I didn’t realize that bon jovi had reached out to Harry, I assumed it had been the other way around for some reason. That’s a great move on his part but also, in a petty way, just proves Harry’s star power and reach.

    • Lara K says:

I assumed that too, but it makes sense. I think this will happen more and more.

Harry and Meg are aware of how things work in the modern world – you have to be open, honest, and willing to engage with people, even with celebrities. It’s not selling out or pandering, it’s the new activism!

The RF is still stuck in the newspaper age, where a carefully staged photo was enough for people to fawn over. Now a photo op is kinda boring. The queen will never understand that times are changing.

      • anon says:

The Sussexes make things happen: their collaborations are bound to get concrete results, they don’t do “vanity” stunts and are hardworking and principled. That, more than anything else like titles and branding, will atract people to them.

    • Some chick says:

It’s such a natural collaboration. I love that Jon Bon Jovi wrote a song about PTS (people are starting to drop the “Disorder” tag because it’s really not a disorder but rather a natural response to terrible experiences). LOVE it. It is a perfect fit for Invictus.

Like his music or not, JBJ is a legit rockstar. Harry is the rockstar prince. This is exactly the sort of thing he should be doing (and apparently loves doing).

Hooray for Invictus! It makes a difference. Not just to the athletes, but also to the people who see disabled folks doing things that *they themselves could not do.* I think it’s wonderful.

  4. Aria says:

Harry looks way healthier and peaceful. Thank god Sussex left the miserable and toxic family for good. You can see he and Meghan was drained by their toxic family. Better looking than prince william. I bet this is one of the reason for William to start smear campaign that he married for love and harry marraige is happy and health than William.

    • Brit says:

It’s a shame because William and Kate are still boring. Harry and Meghan leaving won’t suddenly fix that. The media tried the Fab Four nonsense with the Cambridge’s and Cornwalls and even they saw that it was a hard sell. That’s why the media is hanging on to them for dear life because the money, clicks and access are done.

  5. Digital Unicorn says:

I sometimes get a bus that goes past the studio and always without fail it gets stuck because of the tourists recreating that pose – its annoying AF and dangerous as its a busy road and no-one seems to care about personal safety, esp when they deliberately walk out in front of cars and buses. / Friday grump over /

Anyway I can’t wait to see the footage and hear the song. Jon still has it 🙂

    • Becks1 says:

I was thinking about that this AM as I saw the video of them walking across….how annoying that must be for people trying to get around London.

    • notasugarhere says:

The only part I dislike? Some outlets are editing one of the pics to delete the veteran in the wheelchair who is part of their quartet.

  6. Brit says:

The RF and BM are absolute morons. They had a goldmine with Harry and Meghan. Interest, Star Power, humor, glamour etc and they all blew it because of hierarchy, jealously, greed and an of control tabloid media. Harry and Meghan will be just fine without the RF and everyone knows it. March 31st is going to be an Interesting day especially for the haters.

  7. Guest2.0 says:

Harry and Bon Jovi teaming up for Invictus is just fantastic. I’ve always liked Bon Jovi. He’s always seemed committed to giving back. And Harry does look great here. BTW, Omid wrote a great write up in Harper’s about the goals of Travalyst. It sounds like a game changer for the travel and tourism industry.

    • LindaS says:

Its being said that Harrys train ride to Travelyst wasn’t so environmently friendly after all. He bought out the whole first class section. Wonder about the rest of the people waiting for first class. Did they walk? Or did another train have to run.

      • Andrew’s Nemesis says:

Given the threats to his life and the vitriol whipped into an inferno by the tabloids, I imagine his security was thinking of his safety…

      • What. . .now? says:

What does it matter if he bought out all of first class? How that environmentally unfriendly, again? Because some people might have had to wait? Really? That’s your complaint?

      • notasugarhere says:

Buying out the car isn’t eco unfriendly, but keep spitting the hate tumblr. It is likely most of the car would have been empty anyway, so the company made extra money off Harry’s choice. If someone else needed a ticket at any class, I’m sure they were able to buy one in a different car.

      • Marie says:

Harry travels with a lot of people. We have no idea how big the first class section is. His team may have taken up all of the first class section. It still doesn’t change how “environmentally friendly” it is.

      • Jaded says:

Nice try. He travels with an entourage. Did you expect him to sit in coach and bring his own lunch?

      • Digital Unicorn says:

Having travelled to Scotland on that route first class during the weeks I can say that those carriages are for the most part usually almost empty – the only people who buy those tickets during weekdays are those who’s company has bought the ticket for them.

Its not the first time I’ve had the whole first class carriage to myself when I’ve travelled that way for work.

      • MsIam says:

Tickets are bought first come first serve. Doesn’t matter who bought the tickets, they only have so many seats.

      • LRobb says:

Folks are going to have to come to terms with the balance some figures are challenged to find between selecting travel options with reduced carbon emissions and security concerns. Harry is working with others in finding these alternatives but he will never be completely free to travel with the crowds. I’m sure his travel arrangements are made on a case by case basis.

      • L4frimaire says:

Isn’t he traveling with Travalyst staff and security, so how many seats were purchased? Everyone knows everything, and has all the answers. Did Harry ask you to fix his life and the environment for him?

      • Olenna says:

@LindaS, did your hear or read any positive news in the tabloids or SM about this engagement? If so, maybe you could share that, too.

    • notasugarhere says:

It could be a game changer, which is why they tumblr and twitter haters are crying bitter tears over it.

      • Nonartistic Diane says:

Nota, you weren’t kidding when you commented in previous posts about the tumblr and twitter contigent constantly trying it on, on this site now. I mean talk about the inability to read a room…

  8. C-Shell says:

Harry looks great, which has *got* to be driving some folks crazy. And, Jon Bon Jovi can still get it. Sigh. Kaiser, thanks for the eye candy this morning.

  9. Guest says:

Harry has something the royals dont have. Personality and drive.

  10. Marie says:

I have always liked Jon Bon Jovi and I can’t wait for the song to come out. Harry has always come up with neat ways to promote his work. The British press really lost a golden couple. Their loss.

  11. Suze says:

The Instagram video SussexRoyal posted this morning is quite cute, Harry & Jon in the recording studio, getting ready to sing.

  12. bluemoonhorse says:

I said on the Travlyst post that his skin was looking great – more apparent here. Amazing what good rest, good food, and the moist air of the Pacific NW can do 🙂 LOL or the love of a good woman? Thumbs up, Harry!

    • Some chick says:

Agree on all counts – and I love your icon! Meow!

      • bluemoonhorse says:

@chick I might need to become Blue Moon Kitty LOL love that cat meme! As a ginger, Harry should re-think going to California – the sun exposure will not be kind to his pale skin (my mom was a redhead).

  13. Becks1 says:

SussexRoyal posted a longer video that is really cute, with the choir singing.

And, in shocking news – the Queen’s Guard played bon jovi songs at the changing of the guard today and the Royal Family IG posted the video! It says its to celebrate his collaboration with Invictus, no mention of harry, LOL, but still…..a weirdly nice gesture.

    • notasugarhere says:

Or a way to trade on his popularity?

One of my favs was the time they played the Bond theme.

      • Jaded says:

Totally a way to inveigle their way into Harry’s popularity. Transparent as a pan of water.

      • Becks1 says:

It’s definitely trying to trade on his popularity, which cracks me up. it’s like not-so-subtle admission that they need Harry more than he needs them.

That said, I still liked it!

    • anon says:

      Weirdly passive-agressive too…

    • MJM says:

Crickets at Kensington Royal LOL, If they had more Harry on there they wouldn’t have to waste so much money on bots 🤣🤣🤣

  14. What. . .now? says:

Harry is looking like a lean, mean ginger machine! Ha! Jon Bon Jovi is still such a good looking man. That’s charisma + charisma right there!

  15. Elaine Stritch says:

I find these kind of cringey…

  16. Redgrl says:

I love this! Good for Harry – what a great cause as always. And Jon Bon Jovi just gets hotter with age. Saw him in concert a few times and he rocked it. What a dream team!

  17. L4frimaire says:

Just have to say the Bon Jovi is still so freakin cool. Harry is much taller then him. Harry is looking very trim and much better than he did before Christmas. My main concern about Invictus is the impact of Coronavirus. I’m sure they’re closely monitoring it but must be nerve racking.

  18. Awkward symphony says:

Just WOW! THIS is how you promote a project. Not showing up and cutting ribbons!!
I’m glad for Harry. He’ll definitely surpass his mothers fame post divorce.

  19. Snazzy says:

Did you see Bon Jovi’s Instagram post? He said he was with “the artist formerly known as prince” 😂 I’m dead

  20. MeghanNotMarkle says:

Harry is looking downright fantastic. These little bits they share are cheesy, sure, but they’re getting the message across. It works and why fix it if it ain’t broken?

  21. Bread and Circuses says:

I like how some of those photos show off how very tall Harry is (his brother’s even taller). For some reason, it often doesn’t come across in photos, but they’re both strapping.

  22. Awkward symphony says:

    Charisma+Confidence=HOT🤩
I still cant believe the fools at palace think taking away a title is gonna affect his massive popularity!!🤦‍♀️If anything it makes people admire him more

P.s:I know he still has it but cant use it but it’s still unprecedented as Beatrice & Eugenie a none working royals get to use it!!
