Doja Cat is positive for Covid-19 after she made fun of people who were afraid of catching it. This virus really does have a built-in boomerang. [Dlisted]

I have lost so much respect for people I know in real life and celebs who aren’t taking this virus seriously. F*ck your social lives ! Selfish jerks.

  2. Sam the Pink says:

I don’t feel bad for her. I feel terrible for the anonymous people you know she infected.

While it troubles my libertarian side, I’m starting to think we are at the point where we should start exploring reckless endangerment charges against people who openly flaut the guidelines. I’m not talking cases where people assume the risk – like going to other people’s homes voluntarily. I’m talking about those who insist on being in public unmasked or other really intentional violating of the rules.

Doja Cat is idiotic. Willful ignorance makes my head hurt.

  5. Atti says:

Covid sometimes hit people ironically… but they never get the bad kind, so they end up making fun of it afterwards too. «Its not so bad, I had no symptoms!!».. I’d rather they didnt get it at all.

Ugh, I feel the same exact way. Even if my in laws got it I know they would get the mild version and it would further cement their beliefs that this is all a cOnSpIrACy against the orange one.

    • Alexandria says:

That’s what I said about Bojo. He would have the best care and recover and simply think it’s just another flu.

  9. Moonbeam says:

Had it in January, caught it on college campus, several in my office visited doctors on their last leg, including me. Months later I still have lingering breathing issues that I did not have before the virus. Facebook support group I’m in has gone from 3K to 18.9K in 8 weeks. That’s a great deal of sick frustrated people. We go back to school in days and I’m not particularly hopeful people will comply, adults or students.

    • Juls says:

Me too. Early to mid January. All the symptoms. Worse than any flu. I live in TN and it was totally here then. I asked my husband to take me to the hospital several times but then would refuse to go but I knew I was sick enough to go. Horrible cough that lasted 4 months. My son had it too. Went through a battery of tests, all negative. His literal diagnosis was ‘pneumonia caused by unknown respiratory virus’. Yeah, we totally had it in January. But that gives me no comfort because apparently immunity is no guarantee. Trust me people, you do NOT want to catch this. Its horrible. My son and I may have long term damage that may not even be known until later.

  10. jwoolman says:

There’s some evidence now that a third of people who get symptoms but don’t need to be hospitalized end up with a rough time for at least 3 weeks…. And also there are concerns about long-term damage to vital organs even if hospitalization is not required. We just don’t know enough about this virus to be so cavalier about it.

Right. One of the pitchers for the Red Sox is now benched for the season because he developed a heart condition as a result of contracting COVID. 27 years old. According to his doctor, up to 20% of people who get COVID develop this heart condition.
