Unhinged columnist: Prince Harry should stop listening to Meghan & come back

Prince Harry and Meghan Duchess of Sussex visit to Sussex

Yes, I have seen the gleefully nasty columns devoted to the Finding Freedom excerpts. As someone who actually read the book excerpts at the Times, I wonder how long these pearl-clutching reality-deniers can really willfully smear the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Once people actually read the book, a lot of these columns will be moot. The two biggest critics this week seem to be a married couple: Piers Morgan and Celia Walden. Piers wrote some trash in the Daily Mail claiming Harry and Meghan have confirmed that they’re “tone-deaf whiny brats,” and he would know because he’s licked Donald Trump’s a–hole. But several people have tagged me on Celia Walden’s piece for the Telegraph, which was called “The Sussexes may have no way back – but Harry still has a chance.” Enjoy as she unfavorably compares Princess Diana and Meghan and then says that Harry needs to leave Diana, Meghan and presumably Archie in the past:

But the real giveaway is the tone and language of the biography: a relentless drone of self-pity that occasionally rises up into a squeal shrill enough to make even Meghan and Harry wince, were they not so tone deaf, it’s instantly recognisable as their voice. I say “their voice”, but really it’s Meghan’s. And it calls to mind another woman’s voice: a woman who had perfected the same “big eyes to camera”, liked to think of herself as similarly Machiavellian with the media, and had far more genuine cause for complaint.

Harry is currently living with these two strong female voices in his head, his wife and his late mother. Two women who would probably have agreed on many things, from the horror of bitchy courtiers to the ease of life in California, where Diana was planning on moving to escape the scrutiny of the British press before she died. But also two women with grievances. And as hard as it to admit that any of our parents have failings – especially if we’ve lost them tragically early – the Prince needs to remember, firstly, that many of Diana’s media machinations weren’t ultimately successful, and secondly, that instead of making her happy and allowing her to find freedom outside of the family into which she married, they only kept her mired in her grievances until the end of her life, when she did finally seem to have let go.

As an attempt to get everyone on their side while exacting some nebulous form of revenge on The Firm, Finding Freedom is a woeful failure in a string of PR failures dating right back to the idea – Meghan’s, again, no doubt – that forming a spin-off monarchy was the only way to maximise their “brand potential”. A concept so repugnant, I feel sullied just typing the words out. But although this is just another mistake in a litany of mistakes, it feels significant, final, in terms of what might henceforth be possible for the Sussexes as a couple in the UK. Because, as that royal source said yesterday, very little is now likely to be.

Which leaves what? LA? A place that, as former Vanity Fair editor Graydon Carter told me last week, “is not for people who don’t have a part in the professional firmament”. And once the realisation of their own toxicity sinks in, what then? Then the in-fighting starts, the blame game. Perhaps it won’t. Perhaps these two will grow out of their rancour and grow old, in a Beverly Hills mansion so large there’s a new bathroom to be discovered every month of the year. But if and when Harry manages to hear his own voice above the din of those two women in his head, he could do worse than to listen to it. There is a way back, and we would take him back, with only one question asked: “What were you thinking?”

[From The Telegraph]

“And once the realisation of their own toxicity sinks in…” The Trumpian level of projection is staggering. To think that Harry and Meghan are the toxic ones because they got out of a toxic, dysfunctional situation. To think that Harry and Meghan are the toxic ones because they want to clear up some things after being victimized by a massive smear campaign by the palace and the press. And all of this British media delusion about getting Harry to come back somehow *just* so they can scream “how dare you leave us” and “we told you so” at him.

Again, what else they – RF, Royal Rota, British Trolls, Viper Courtiers- could do? Take some of the blame? take all of the blame? Apologise? Change?

    No,no,no,no- Never!

Better do what they have always done- blame the victim, bully the victim, erase the victim….carry on as if nothing is wrong, make some snarky remarks and call it “humour”, ignore the world, isolate themselves in their island…

    • Pearl Grey says:

It is truly astounding to see that not just Normal Bill, but the entire royal family along with the British media and half the public want Harry to be single, forever playing the position of Third Wheel to the heir and his wife but never having a family of his own because he betrayed them by choosing a foreign, non-white woman that they are too bigoted to accept.

      • Hope says:

Harry can have the kind of marriage Margaret had with Earl Snowdon. A bad marriage.

Or maybe marry someone like Fergie who stays on her knees for any scraps she can get from the royals. That’s what the BRF likes for their spares.

      • Priscila says:

They went to L.A to find dirty on Meghan- and found nothing. They had to pay up her family and a former family friend and the best they could come up is Toxic Tom faking a heart attack and Samantha flying over to London. When it became clear that side of her family- the white one- was trash, KP went full propaganda mode on, took off the child´s gloves as she was already married to Harry, and vilified her at every opportunity.

Yes, they would have invaded the privacy of every woman that married Harry, but this coverage was so brutal, so different and was allowed to continue undisputed, that some of us who pay attention had to conclude the obvious: the RF refused to do anything to put a stop to it because they wanted to continue.

Harry knows and people should trust him, an adult man, to make his own decisions- but since we are speaking about the scum of the earth, they just shrug and continue to trash a young family.

      • BayTampaBay says:

Has it been established beyond a doubt that Toxic Tom did indeed fake and or stage a heart attack? I know there are well believed rumors but I never heard the final verdict on this matter.

      • Priscila says:

@BayTampaBay He might as well had had a heart attack. He does not look like a healthy guy in his seventies. But the timeline is so suspect, and the company he was keeping at the time- he was in with the brit mags- that I find not only plausible. Who is there to check? This is not a police inquiry after all. If he does not want his real medical records to be released, they will not be released.

      • HeatherC says:

@TBT He released some sort of medical bill and discharge paperwork to I think the DM. It listed his condition as Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) which is a chronic manageable condition. (Of course to manage it successfully that would involve a healthy diet, exercise, medication and no smoking or booze or Mickey Ds every day), and not a “heart attack” which the medical term for that is “myocardial infarction.” I believe he probably had an exacerbation of his CHF, his diet alone would keep him on the edge. He was hospitalized for that at some point (and his insurance picked up a lot of it, he wasn’t stuck with the bill as he’d have everyone believe). But two widowmaker heart attacks in the space of a week? I highly, highly doubt that.

(I’m an RN with ICU/ER experience for over 10 years)

      • kelleybelle says:

@ Tampa Bay, even the press knows it was fake. The paperwork was fake, everything connected to it was fake. The pickup car came for him to bring him to the airport and he refused to get in. People exposed that. Sr. tied to say he was in hospital “having a heart attack.” Pure BS from start to finish. He was never in a hospital and they tried to lie about that too, saying he didn’t want the press to find out. Verdict: fake.

      • pottymouth pup says:

@Hope “Harry can have the kind of marriage Margaret had with Earl Snowdon. A bad marriage. ”

you forgot the “as long as it’s not to that Black woman” that would be implicit to the firm & RR’s stance on what Harry should do

  2. MOT says:

With each comment that Harry reads he’ll probably be felling better and better about his decision!

    • Tealie says:

I say this I think that they’re guilting him into coming back, but they’re just cementing his thoughts and the fact that he’s never going to come back again no matter what happens.

      • A says:

I don’t think they want him back. Whether he stayed or whether he left, it doesn’t matter. What they want is the continued ability to torment him and his wife and family as they wish for the sake of ratings, clicks and sales. If they can’t find something, they’ll create something.

Look at Diana. Even in death, they can’t leave her well enough alone, can they?

    • Mac says:

Harry isn’t coming back.He wanted out. He is going to stay out and who can blame him?

    • StartupSpouse says:

If Charles wanted to leave the door open for H&M to assist his monarchy in the future, now would be a good time for him (or his team) to speak out and defend them against this trash.

      Should I wait or nah?

      • Mia says:

But why come back, do the heavy lifting, raise Archie on the island and have to leave when Penis with Teeth becomes King. Hopefully by that time the monarchy is abolished.

      • BnLurkN4eva says:

PC has always been a weak and little man. He has some talents, I won’t deny that professionally he’s done well in his role Prince of Wales, but personally, he is a pathetic man and I can’t respect him. I remember when everyone was giving him praise for walking Meghan down the isle and all I could think was he’s being praised for doing the bare minimum. He has never stepped up in any real way for his children, or made any sacrifices to improve their lives.

PC always put his own selfish needs ahead of everything else. He could have taken care of Diana in the early years of their marriage, he could have been more discrete with his affair, he could have supported her struggles in her role, but his jealousy of Diana prevented him from caring that he was contributing to her early misery.

PC could have put his children’s need above his own need for public vindication after Diana’s death, but again his littleness prevented him from putting anyone else’s needs above his own. He could have shown public support to H/M during the worst of the smear campaign, instead he kept his head down and made sure none of it affected him personally. I can’t believe this man can walk around with his head up after how personally useless he’s been to his own son. Yeah, I can’t respect PC and so I can’t like him and he’s still heads and shoulder above William – good luck future England if the monarchy continues.

      • Tessa says:

I can’t imagine any grandfather keeping quiet when his grandson is likened to a chimpanzee. Charles should have really been angry over it and said something. His silence spoke volumes. Charles got a lot of mileage about walking Meghan down the aisle so it was not totally “noble.”

      • Becks1 says:

@Tessa et al – Charles’s good press/”mileage” about walking Meghan down the aisle is why I couldn’t figure out why he DIDNT stand up for her. He would have looked SO much better if he had. As it was, it looked like he just treated the wedding as pure PR and washed his hands of everything else.

And that’s not just Charles. the entire family could have used Meghan’s arrival to make themselves look better, regardless of their racism/xenophobia/laziness (ahem Cambridges.) Kate and Meghan could have done a joint event – not just Wimbledon. The Sussexes and the Cambridges could have been papped going to dinner together. Charles could have released a picture of him, Harry and Meghan for Meghan’s birthday or something (maybe from when they visited him at Birkhall.) Camilla and Meghan could have combined their interest in women’s rights and attended an event relating to that. Kate would have looked good in the Marks and Spencer smart set dress. And so on. Those are all things that would have made the OTHER royals look good. They would have looked united and welcoming, especially in the face of the abuse she was dealing with on a daily basis.

I’m not saying this would have been how things went forever, but for the first year or so? Yup. They could have done these little things and made a HUGE impact without really saying a whole lot .

      • Royalblue says:

don’t hold your breath. his silence speaks volumes,

      • A says:

Prince Charles is like his mother, in that he has absolutely no grasp of what it means to liaise with the media and the press in a way that’s beneficial to him. He think that he should do what he does, and no one should comment on anything except to praise him for everything. The Queen thinks the same way.

It’s only ever the consorts in this family who have a grasp of how public relations actually works. The Queen Mother, Prince Philip, Diana, all of them knew that the press is the conduit to the people, and they must utilize it to maintain the popularity of the royal family.

The only person who doesn’t know this, or doesn’t care about this, is Kate. And it’s because she is not interested in caring or in boosting the popularity of the monarchy. She cares about being Queen, nothing else.

If emotional intelligence were a gene (and it’s not), the main line of Windsors are all sorely lacking in it, and it’s by design. They don’t want to care about having to endear themselves to the public. They truly think that, because they’re monarchs or future monarchs, they can demand respect and affection and fealty. And they are angry beyond belief when they feel it’s not afforded to them. They are really that entitled.

  3. Alexandria says:

Harry’s anthem for 2020: Why u so obsessed with me……?

    • Bella DuPont says:

      Yup.

Celia Walden: Another hag bitter that her husband is completely consumed with his obsession for Meghan.

  4. Laalaa says:

    I have no words.
Diana was a complicated woman, but to put her in this as an argument for Meghan being “so much Meghan”…
    That is next level. Barf

    • greenmonster says:

You took the words right out of my mouth. The hatred some people have towards Meghan knows no boundaries and that is scary! Instead of recognizing that the RF hasn’t learned a single thing out of the DIana situation, they basically blame her for everything bad in her life and her own death. This whole article reads like a thinly veiled threat to Meghan “Remember what happened to Diana?”.

      • ArtHistorian says:

“The hatred some people have towards Meghan knows no boundaries and that is scary!” – indeed, and we all know why she is hated, why it is so intense and why it is so scary. They hate her because she is not white and that she entered a until then exclusively white space of the highest social standing in the UK. That is why the public coverage of her is so vicious and downright unhinged.

      • Edna says:

I always discounted the Diana conspiracy theories, but I swear, this unhinged, unbridled full on hate filled assault on Meghan, now has me seriously wondering. I think Harry may have realized that he needed to get his family out of England before the unthinkable happened.

      • Elizabeth says:

I did too, Edna, and still mostly do, but they sure didn’t do anything about ameliorating the threats people were making to stab her in public to “prove she wasn’t actually pregnant.”

      • notasugarhere says:

They weren’t just threats, Elizabeth. One of those crazies was photographed feet from Meghan, outside her NYC hotel, screaming at her. She covered her face in a bandana to protect her identity, but also posted pics from Windsor the day Archie was born. She isn’t just an online hater, she is a physical security threat.

      • Nyro says:

Edna, I said the same thing yesterday. I used to think the Diana conspiracies were total craziness. The sheer non-stop lies and vitriolic hatred toward Meghan and, by extension Harry, has made me change my mind. I used to think that, sure, the royals were unkind and were jealous of Diana but no way would they have her killed. Well now I’m thinking the conspiracy theorists were on to something. Diana seriously threatened their relevance and she was dating men of color, even allegedly talked to her friends about wanting to marry that doctor she was in a relationship with and have one more kid. I can see them taking her out for that. The former wife and mother of future kings giving birth to a brown baby? No way. If only she had been able to settle in California like She’s planned, she might be alive today. SMH. I’m so glad Harry got his wife and kids out of that place.

    • Bella DuPont says:

      @ Edna

Exactly! The Diana conspiracy theories have never seemed so clear and plausible. It definitely feels like they’ve unleashed the hounds on them. I’m shitting myself on their behalf.

      • KW says:

I think they got rid of Diana because Wills was FFK and they didn’t want her influence on him or Harry. They are gaslighting Harry because they don’t want his charisma or popularity overshadowing the FFK who has none. If the institution trumps everything, Harry and Meghan are best to hire and pay for their own security. And I think it is absolutely frightening and H&M would definitely know the whispers and the rumours. My gawd the RF are dumb as stumps and not much better looking.

      • February-Pisces says:

“if you knew what I know, you would do the same”- harry.

Funnily enough I think it maybe Diana related. If they were involved in her death, I think harry would have found out about it by now. Either way he knows what they are capable of.

That reminds me of a story about the queens private secretary at the time of Diana’s death. Robert Fellows ( I think that was his name) was one of the three people Diana was scared of. Anyway the morning she died, he phoned someone and said ‘have you heard about Diana, SHES DEAD” in the most cold unempathetic way, like her death was such an inconvenience. Robert fellows was also Diana brother-in-law, he was married to her sister. That is how gawd awful these people are. Actual monsters.

    • Tessa says:

And the nasty gossip on the social media and on comments sections keeps up the defamation: her mother was a “jail bird” Archie was through a surrogate, Samantha and Tom were “right about her.” Harry is on drugs; Meghan had an extra husband; Meghan was in porn films and she “associated with Epstein. I never saw anything so vicious said about any royal. Then Kate’s life is reinvented she was virgin when she married William, William only was protecting Kate by calling for a pause in their relationship so she could “Decide” about Royal Life, Kate is “superior” to Meghan, the narcissist comments, and so on. Some sound truly off the wall yet some media outlets don’t delete them.

      • Sandy says:

Wow. Is that really the stuff they come up with? It sounds like a very large dose of some VERY hard drugs is needed to come up with and spout such idiocy!!

I used to not really care about Meghan either way, but after I saw how the press came after her I became very team Meghan. That is INSANE.

      • Moxylady says:

Perhaps Kate is very very keen not to be liked. Because she doesn’t want to end up dead, like Diana. The conspiracy theories – esp now with the revealing of a pedophile ring etc – seem more and more credible.

  5. Kfg says:

These people are delusional. The whole RF is going down in flames.

    • Anance says:

Could these opinion pieces be paid articles? I know it happens in the US with blogs and unreputable newspapers. Like a columnist receives cash or favors for write tripe.

BTW, what toxic is the UK press ecosystem as it pertains to the Royal Family.

      • A says:

I don’t think they’re paid articles. But I do think that they’re far more mercenary than is obvious at first glance, in that a lot of the people who write such tripe don’t actually believe in what they’re writing completely. They share some of the opinions, but it’s not nearly as inflammatory as they write it out to be. But they write it this way because they know that it annoys people, and it gets people talking. And that generates revenue for their papers, which is what they’re after.

  6. Becks1 says:

Holy hell. I had seen this article on twitter but didn’t actually click through to read it. wow. She IS unhinged. “their own toxicity?”

These articles are so sexist and demeaning to Meghan AND Harry, and of course they are rooted in sexism and racism and xenopobia, but its interesting because you still see the same pattern of the reporters attacking the married-in, not the blood royal. It’s like even though he has walked away, that pattern still holds somewhat – this is all MEGHAN’S fault, not Harry, not the beloved prince, not Diana’s son, he would never abandon the UK! It’s like there is still this basic level of protection for him in some of these stories.

    • Mmmmm... says:

Yes! The misogyny in this article is ASTOUNDING. Even insinuating that Meghan somehow manipulated him or sucked him in and likening that to the way Diana was. Disgusting.

  7. sara says:

Truly hope this makes them just commit to staying away. How unhinged do you need to be to complain about them living in a large house when his relatives legitimately live in actual castles!? It just comes down to how much of this was invented by the media from the beginning – they pushed the narrative that Harry and Meghan were stealing the spotlight from the Cambridges (when clearly – they were the ones just covering Harry and Meghan more – they could have just kept covering the Cambridges https://www.thedailybeast.com/how-meghan-and-harry-stole-kate-and-williams-crown). This then led to them pushing the narrative that Meghan loves the spotlight and is a diva etc, then (allegedgly) the Cambridges actually became jealous and KP started leaking stories that reflected poorly on Meghan. Which then brings us here.

    • Jenn says:

It was invented by the British royal family. Every angle taken by the British press is approved by the royal family otherwise how does Dan Wootton speak with so much authority about Meghan and Harry. The royal family is stoking the fires of anger against Meghan and Harry while at the same time defending Kate and William. I am of the belief that indeed they want Meghan to be killed, otherwise they would have found a way to cool the hatred of the British public. They have done it for Andrew why not Meghan.

  8. Lyn says:

Yeah the British media and the RF behaviour is curious bc this isnt a situation where there is only there word. There is a book coming out which the authors seem to have credibly defended ( I mean I haven’t seen anyone calling in the lawyers yet), so it doesnt matter what they say the public will read it and make up their minds.

They acted the same with the Vogue issue, there was like a two week period where it was non stop vilification and they deemed it a failure. But the public bought it in droves, Vogue created a movement out if it, ither magazines emulated it and it won awards.

Its like they think if they vilify something enough and pan it then it makes it toxic or a failure. I mean amongst the Brexiters, MAGA, monarchists etc maybe, but everything I’ve seen so far point to the British media being divergent opinion wise with a good portion of the UK public and most definitely all of the global public.

Like Meghan says, all of this is noise.

  9. aquarius64 says:

Abandon your wife and child Harry and all will be forgiven. I can’t imagine that Harry sees such statements as the meaning. The BM and the BRF know their reputations will be damaged once the book is released, especially if Scobie and Durand do a promotional tour in the US.

  10. Lucy2 says:

I’m just shocked that someone is willingly married to Piers Morgan…

    • elisabeth says:

      same!

    • BayTampaBay says:

I actually think he is on his second wife but it may be his third. Could be in some sort of competition with Boris Johnson?

      • notasugarhere says:

Second I think. Piers cheated with this one while he was still married. Then this one publicly cheated on Piers after they got married. When it was discovered, they tried to pretend she had done it for a ‘story’. He’s obsessed with Meghan, but if you look at photos of Walden near Harry? She’s just as obsessed with Harry as Piers is with Meghan.

      • BayTampaBay says:

Piers is a big player in the Chipping Norton Set which says much about him with no other words or explanation necessary.

  11. Hope says:

Odd isn’t it, that ultimately the British press seems to respect how terribly William treats Kate by losing their minds about Harry caring about his wife.

How dare Meghan marry into that family and not accept being treated terribly in exchange for money? How dare she accept the cost of the wedding and not give up her dignity in exchange? How could she think she deserves that when Kate didn’t get that? At best she should be grateful for being allowed to marry Harry and vise-versa and accept her place.

I guess whatever Megain wants, Megain gets.

The Cambridge stans have signed off on the press abuse of Kate in order to bash Meghan. I wonder if they realize that.

    • Tealie says:

They like it when royal men treat their wives like shit maybe it gives them room to imagine being with them as they know there is an open door, whereas with Harry and Meghan, you can tell Meghan is truly the only one for him and vise versa and the door for cheating/other loves is firmly shut. They can’t imagine or fantasise their way into their relationship there which drives them crazy.

    • notasugarhere says:

Why are you promoting a toxic nickname beloved by the anti-Meghan crowd?

      • Silver Charm says:

        It was being used facetiously.

      • notasugarhere says:

Whether or not she was using it in jest, it is still promoting it, putting it out there to be found and used by search engines. Why help evil by using their terms?

    • A says:

I think you’ve gotten at the core of this on some level. How dare Meghan think she doesn’t have to put up with such abuse from the press, when she’s married to a prince, a royal, and is now set for life? How dare she think that she has the right to not be torn down constantly, in spite of all the good works she’s doing, for the sake of selling papers off the backs of the public’s insecurities? She’s a princess, she’s going to be fine, so therefore, the press and the public has the right to act viciously towards her now.

  12. Florence says:

Ah yes, get the poor mislead white prince away from his black harridan wife and mixed race mistake – is what I’m reading here.

This is an evil attack on that poor family, and it could not be any more overtly racist unless it started sprinkling slurs in. I hope Harry is not reading this trash, and focusing on his lovely family – his own, not the bizarre freaks trying to gaslight him back into their poisonous fold.

  13. Vera says:

Dan Wootton seemed very upset on twitter too about the book, trash talked about Omid.
I wonder if he crossed the line to slander and libel

  14. ABritGuest says:

There’s a great piece on the misogynoir around Meghan especially all this not so subtle language about him being ‘enthralled’ by her, in a ‘trance’ https://graziadaily.co.uk/amp/life/opinion/meghan-markle-harry-magic-bewitched-power-finding-freedom/?__twitter_impression=true

Despite Harry having been on record for years as saying things like nobody wants to be king, he thought of leaving the royal family before, he doesn’t like being in England because of the press and the things they write- Sussexit must be the wily biracial’s fault.

I’ve never seen so many people actively campaign for the destruction of a young family before with no care how divorce may traumatise the Prince they claim to love. Makes me even happier at no hospital or christening press call.

    • ArtHistorian says:

They also exhibit some really weird feelings of ownership when it comes to Harry. It is downright bizarre.

      • Tealie says:

It’s scary because they clearly have sexual fantasies about him but at the same time want him to be there little boy. It’s honestly some creepy twisted pseudo paedophilia shit that they’ve got going on with him. it makes me sick.

      • Ginger says:

They really do. I wonder if its because he is the only royal that is popular and relevant? They want him back with the Cambridge’s because they cant shine on their own. Harry held them up and made them look better. No one cares about the Cambridge’s on their own. Even their kids don’t garner that much interest
        (unlike Archie)

      • Becks1 says:

YES. I think it has something to do with him being so young when Diana died (looking like a small child at her funeral, whereas William looked more like a teenager, which he was) – and having seen him grow up without a mother, I wonder if maybe people think of him as “theirs”?

Its weird because so many of these stories are from reporters/commentators reaching out to Harry like its personal. (Well, for some of these RRs, it is.) And social media comments are no better. There isn’t that reaction to William

      • Tessa says:

and the endless talk of how “close” he was to William and Kate is so fond of Harry and Meghan ‘took that way.’ So deluded.

      • morrigan01 says:

You know what a lot of this unhinged reaction reminds me of? Homophobes who turn out to be deep closest cases. You know, the people who rage on and on about gay people, how their evil, sinful, deserve no rights, etc.

Then, some time later they get exposed being with someone secretly who’s over the same sex.

Basically, the thing they were so against to the point of acting unhinged about it, they secretly were but could never admit it.

I think MANY of these unhinged reaction to Harry and Meghan like this one are people who have some deep secret conflicting feeling that makes them either deeply attracted in a sexual way to one or the other of them; and either they feel betrayed that that they are with someone else (you see this a LOT when it comes to Harry in regards to begging him to come back), but someone who doesn’t look like them – reenforcing the truth that, if given the choice, Harry would NEVER be with them.

Or it’s them being fixated on everything the person does and says even though they keep repeating over and over that everyone should/will ignore them (usually Meghan is the focus on that one). But they never can. Because they are determined to find SOMETHING that backs up their belief that if Harry would just come to his sense and see what they they for SURE will find or can prove true, that he WOULD choose someone like them – someone who LOOKS LIKE them. Which Meghan, the woman he DID chose, does not.

THIS? Not only falls into those two things, but also jealousy of Meghan in the call for Harry to just abandon her and Archie. No doubt because her husband has been obsession over Meghan – in public – for over 3 years now. The fact that this woman has to know Harry is with a black-biracial woman and her husband has been obsessing over that same black-biracial woman – and neither are doing so over a white woman like her – is also very likely a component to this unhinged ranting of her’s as well.

      • February-Pisces says:

I just saw on twitter, there are some nasty tweets about Meghan under prof Kate williams posts about Meghan. Prof Kate is incredible btw. Anyway it was the usual miserable moany women going on about how Meghan is ‘narcissistic’ and ‘manipulative’ etc. It seems like these women are having a really hard time digesting that harry doesn’t want them of keen Karen. If a woman is beautiful she’s ‘narcissistic’. If a woman is intelligent she’s ‘manipulative’, if a woman is hard working she’s ‘thirsty’ or ‘ambitious’. Coincidentally if you dull, dreary and basic, your wonderful and classy. It comes down to the fact that Meghan possesses traits that they will never have, mostly beauty being the no1. They treat Meghan like a succubis who lured their white prince with her lady parts, and he’s been trapped under her spell ever since, cos how else would you explain a white man, who had his pick of any white woman, choosing a biracial one instead. It must be magic, or hypnosis, or manipulation. Couldn’t possibly be love.

  15. Queen Meghan's Hand says:

What TF will these bottom feeders (Piers and his bride) and grey-faced sandpit vipers do on Thursday when Prince Andrew is ALL OVER AND UP in those disclosed documents from the V. Giuffre case?
Part of their anger is that their favorite scapegoats are gone, gone and they’ll have to reckon with the face that the British Royal Family still participates in human trafficking.

  16. Lisa says:

They have no shame and it us very clear that Harry and only Harry will be accepted back never mind that pesky wife and child.

    • Tessa says:

Some of the bots want Kate to help raise Archie. Heaven forbid.

      • swirlmamad says:

This is the most sickening thing I’ve heard yet.

      • Florence says:

My stomach just turned over. That is pure psychopathic fantasy right there – give the royal child a “pure”’, “truly royal”, white mother.

  17. Merricat says:

What Harry was thinking: freedom! love! family!
Which is also why he’s never coming back.

  18. Mara says:

People don’t change their minds on firmly held opinions, at least not overnight, no matter how much evidence to the contrary they are presented with.
It would take at least five years for the red tops to change their mind (and admit to that change of mind) on Harry and Meghan, if ever. With Harry and Meghan it would probably take at least 10 years (if ever) to change their minds on moving to LA – because they took the most active step it means their attitudes have become more deeply rooted and therefore harder to change.

    • Tessa says:

Not going to happen, the hatred is very fierce and it won’t go away in a few years. The royals should have had nipped this in the bud ages ago.

      • Lady D says:

I’m actually starting to think they do want her dead.

      • BayTampaBay says:

Several commentators on several Daily Fail articles have said the exact thing suggesting a British Royal Family intervention via another car accident.

  19. Sofia says:

Harry has said he doesn’t like being part of the monarchy and that this whole thing is him driving it.

Yet some people can’t get it through their heads so it’s “let’s blame the woman for a man’s decision” which is not exactly new and has been done countless times.

    • paddingtonjr says:

Yes! Even before he knew Meghan, he has publicly complained about the scrutiny that comes with being a member of the BRF and not being able to continue his Army career (or being offered only desk jobs) for a long time. Does anyone really think he’s going to abandon his wife and child to return to being a bit player in the W&K are perfect, K is desired by all men fan fiction?

  20. KellyRyan says:

Desperation on the part of the BRF press. If we don’t write and publish none of us will be working. H&M had well thought plans on leaving and knew being targeted wouldn’t end for some time. Advice of counsel, written agreements were part of the exit. Less and less it appears likely they will ever return to the UK. Zoom meetings and charity promotions can be accomplished from the US.

  21. cisne says:

a spin off Royal Family? wtelf? Are these ppl on crack? Harry wanted a clean break the same book FF says. So just bc Diana and Meghan were not borne members of BRF their stories of abuse and toxicity are not valid? if you ask me one corroborrates the other!!! And for Harry an insider a borne who knows the deal, it, his wife’s treatment at their hands, was pretty much a newton proven fact of physics. It takes a new person to let the “nose blind” inhabitants know that their space hella stinky. They H&M have sent out the warning again to alll self respecting woman with a bit of fight in them, do not marry into that family! if you fall in love with a “decent one” and want a happy life let him leave them before any wedding!

  22. TheOriginalMia says:

I told someone on another board the tabs wanted Harry to return without his wife & child & they naively stated that what the tabs meant was after divorce. Nah…they want Harry to abandoned his wife and kid. To choose the white Windsors over his biracial wife and child. These people are sick. Just shows they place no value on black lives. Harry knows that, which is why he got his family off that wretched island and its merry band of bigots.

    • Tessa says:

Some want Harry to “apologize” to William and Kate, then he can see their children again because “they miss him.” Then Harry may get someone that William “approves of” and Kate can control. Perhaps when Harry is a lot older.

      • BayTampaBay says:

You left out pay back the British Taxpayer for the total cost of the wedding and for all renovation on Frogmore Cottage.

The British Taxpayer did NOT pick up the tab for the full cost of the wedding.

Why anyone would pay for renovation cost to a home they do not own and cannot control occupancy of just boggles my mind.

    • goofpuff says:

Oh like telling Harry he should divorce a wife he loves is any better. They are just scrambling trying to cover their racists reasons.

  23. Tessa says:

There are so many vicious attacks on DM and on social media it is down right scary. I don’t know how the royals could sit back and watch the abuse. Meghan and Harry are abused for: holding hands in public, “seeking attention” and then the comments about the ‘extra’ husband and her mother being in prison. This is really offensive. Then the word narcissist is tossed around by these bots.

  24. Elizabeth Kerri Mahon says:

Angela Levin is also at again, telling the Daily Fail that Harry is going to have to choose between being Royal and making money, that he can’t do both. I seriously doubt that he’s going to be doing milk adverts in Japan like Peter Philips. I don’t think that she gets that every time that Prince Harry or Meghan do a speech for pay that gets them into the room with people who can afford to support their foundation.

    • Edna says:

Harry has already chosen. What don’t they understood? He’s not coming back.

      • morrigan01 says:

The problem is, every few weeks these people go right back into Stage One of the Five Stages: Denial.

Every single thing Harry has done since leaving has shown he’s not coming back. But they can not, will not accept that Harry chose his black-biracial wife and mix-raced kid over the UK, Royalty and them. They really can NOT wrap their heads around it. They are so blinded by racism, classism, sexism and xenophobia they are just unable to comprehend that Harry love and respect for his wife and child are his top priority over everything else.

That, to Harry, the lives of Meghan and Archie *matter*. They matter to him.

In contrast, the lives of Meghan and Archie do NOT matter to the RF, courtiers, RRs and hater/trolls. All they would all happily see Meghan dead and for Archie to never exist. I’ll bet anything, behind closed doors, that feeling was made very clear to H&M. Which is likely the main reason they took their don and got the hell out of there. You don’t sty somewhere where you life, or the life of someone you love, doesn’t matter at all.

Seriously, trolls are already doing it. We’re very close to RRs and commentators just outright saying it. Hell, this column is only one minute away from doing it anyway.

      • BayTampaBay says:

“Hell, this column is only one minute away from doing it anyway.”

        Doing what???

Sorry, I am lost in space.

      • morrigan01 says:

@BayTampaBay That was a typo. I meant a minute away from *saying* it, not doing it.

I was trying to say this column is a minute away from saying Meghan and Archie’s lives don’t matter in its call for Harry to come back to the UK. The writer went up to the line, implying it left and right, but didn’t outright say it.

      • BayTampaBay says:

@morrigan01 – Thanks for the clarification. That makes total sense. Sometimes I am a little thick and slow on the uptake! LOL! LOL!

    • Ginger says:

Angela Levin is unhinged. They already left. They are no longer working royals so her “argument” makes zero sense.

He isn’t coming back. Ever. The U.K. need to deal with it. The RF and press did this. They are the reason he is gone.

  25. Tessa says:

What is nauseating is how the Meghan critics (to put it mildly) rhapsodize about the Cambridges. And while Meghan is trashed the Cambridge stans get offended because Kate is still called by her maiden name and it is disrespectful. The laughable part is that william wanted Kate to “have time to decide is she wanted royal life” so he said they should part for a time to give her time to think. Ridiculous since William was seen with other women after the breakup.

  26. windyriver says:

This poor woman. Someone should buy her a nice stuffed corgi toy from the official Buckingham Place gift shop to soothe her nerves. Then she could take a calming shower using an official Buckingham Palace shower cap, and relax with a nip from an official Buckingham Palace shot glass. That branding isn’t repugnant at all.

I’ve also heard this family is in charge of some property. I wonder if any of it is as nice, or as big, as a Beverly Hills mansion?

Seriously though, these people really are in their own bubble. Do they really think people from Mayhew, SmartWorks, Invictus, Hubb Kitchen, Robert Clack, Camfed, other charities receiving donations because of publicity from a visit by Meghan and Harry, or a Sussex Squad initiative, not to mention ordinary people who’ve met them on visits and walkabouts, and military members and veterans that know Harry, don’t know what BS all this is? And that the knowledge of who Harry and Meghan really are and how much they have to offer won’t increase the more work they do?

These idiots are starting to learn that saying doesn’t make it so, and modern day Britain is a small speck on the map of the world. And with Will and Kate as the future of the monarchy, they’re desperately clinging to a train heading for the edge of a cliff. I’m here for it.

    • morrigan01 says:

A lot of this IS hangover from continuing to idolize and Empire that is long since dead, but still thinking it was a great thing t subjugate people in other countries the name of it. No one in the world looks at Britain as some mega-world superpower anymore. It’s why they are SO myopic and keep their heads in the sand when it comes to any anti-black racism and such.

I mean, the US is a dysfunctional mess, but at least we’re aware of it. *shrug*.

  27. Edna says:

The anti Sussex hate parade is really amping up because it distracts from several things at once: the release of the sealed lawsuit documents about Maxwell; how badly the British government has handled The pandemic and Brexit; and how people are suffering from job loss, hunger, etc.

    • BayTampaBay says:

@Edna – I agree with you 100%. Sussexit came at the perfect time to distract from the release of the sealed lawsuit documents about Maxwell; how badly the British government has handled The pandemic and Brexit; and how people are suffering from job loss, hunger, etc.

Nobody wants to write about the important issues because the readers and commentariat of the tabloid media are of many mindsets on these issues. With Meghan & Harry it is easy: you are either for or against them.

  28. Pink says:

This is incredibly unhinged…. I’ve read a couple of the excepts and summaries but none of it is as bizarre as this.

Saying that, the vast majority of the British public isn’t that interested in this whole thing because of everything else that’s going on right now, so thankfully people like this “journalist” won’t get too much traction.

  29. Noodle says:

Can I also point out that LA is a great place for a diverse group of people, most of whom are totally uninvolved with “the profession”. Good night, reducing a metropolitan area of millions of people, stretching over a vast geography, to “the profession” and asserting it’s not a place for M&H is idiocy. We have a lot more going for us here than just the entertainment industry.

    • morrigan01 says:

There are MANY of us out here in the LA area who don’t work in the industry. The industry doesn’t run the whole city. People seem to forget we have a really big aerospace/nasa presence here as well: JPL, CalTech, SpaceX. Not to mention a lot of tech companies (they aren’t only in Silicone Valley up north you know).

People who think LA is just Hollywood and the entertainment industry (which is just one damn neighborhood in LA, btw) are people who’ve clearly never been here and don’t know anything about us.

      • Noodle says:

@morrigan, amen! I am an educator and we have a host of world-class colleges and universities in our area. I can’t think of an industry that doesn’t have some semblance of a presence in the LA area. I live in OC, but I still consider it “LA” because of proximity.

  30. anon says:

The only thing their viciousness is ensuring is that – even if he were to leave his wife and son (he’s not) and “go back” – it wouldn’t be to Britain.

Listen up: He’s never. ever. going. back.

So the Brits need to calm down, because all they’re doing is ensuring his permanent exile. He’d live in a cabin in the woods before he’d go crawling back to that mess.

    • MarcelMarcel says:

I Totally Agree! I’ve been thinking about how these articles & public rants reflect deeply rooted misogynior. So I can’t imagine Harry even wanting to go back regardless of his martial status.
IMO Harry would only go back under the firm conditions of… public & private apologies from the institution to his family. As well as clear evidence of consistently positive behavioural changes from the misogynistic racists at fault. Even then I’d understand him deciding that re-exposure to cultural toxicity wasn’t worth the emotional labour. And also the BRF has made very clear that they are profoundly dysfunctional. They are literally helping a rapist escape legal consequences. While simultaneously refusing to release a sensible announcement about the ongoing bullying of Meghan, Harry & Archie.

  31. FridaKhaloLover says:

The scariest part of all this is how there is not a single independent voice in mainstream British media. All the papers and news stations are either centre right or right wing. The Guardian is left-leaning but has dwindling credibility and is materially, and intellectually snobbish. Their take on all this was, ‘in summary, everyone in the royal family is shit’. The BBC is racist. The Sussexs will be vilified for as long as it suites the agendas of the media and Royal family. They picked a big fight with a vicious crew and they might not win these battles, but hopefully, will win a larger war, which to me is a commitment to their ideals, values and each other.

    • BayTampaBay says:

“The Guardian is left-leaning but has dwindling credibility”

I would not agree with the above statement but would agree with the statement ” ‘in summary, everyone in the royal family is shit’.” The Guardian supports the abolition of the Monarchy and a Republic UK with a written constitution.

    • February-Pisces says:

I think it’s scary there isn’t any publication in the British media to challenge the likes of the daily mail etc. Not one voice has come out to defend harry and Meghan. It’s incredibly sad and disgusting too. I know that KP are know to threaten any media outlet that dares to challenge them, always threatening to take away access to the Cainbridges. Given how they reacted to the Tatler article, threatening to sue, even though they collaborated with them, only goes to show how tyrannical KP are over anyone who dares criticises the Cainbridges, or defends the Sussex’s. The Cainbridges don’t receive positive press because they are genuine nice people, because if they don’t, most journos, will either be threatened with the loss of their job, publications with be threatened with lawsuits, and access will be revoked. Also I’m pretty sure most major media outlets in the UK will be on some sort of retainer, so KP may actually be financially supporting them too.

  32. minny says:

Can’t you hear it? The gasp. The last one that is. What was it that Harry said, “If you knew what I knew…” The establishment seems to be in some sort of death spiral- the government, the media, and the monarchy. The British government (Tories) are a bunch of crooks and traitors just like their American counterparts. – The Racist Media -Murdoch did you say? Go look up his connections with Putin and the Chinese. Wendy Ding did you say? Isn’t she Ivanka’s BFF. Interesting. Murdoch owns the government. Yes he knows where the bodies are buried. Looking at you BOJO. – Ahh yes last and absolutely the LEAST- The Monarchy owned by the Media and known by the government to be racist crooks and pervs. Paradise Papers, and Epstein, and whatever secret thing Betty did in Australia many moons ago, arms dealing/ money laundering- looking at you Andy, and yes LIZ knows about this too. And lastly, for good measure slap Brexit on this crappalouza. So, now you understand some of the reasons for all the breathless pathetic pleas for Harry to comeback. Yes, Harry knows his brother is a back-stabber, but what else does he know? “If you knew what I knew.” Hmm. Harry knows the establishment is circling the drain. There will be nothing to comeback to- even if he wanted to.

    • BayTampaBay says:

“If you knew what I knew.”

All reporters and journalists in the British tabloid and mainstream media knows what Harry knows. They just do not want to write about it.

This was also true with Diana. The reporters were well versed on everything printed in the Morton book plus more and had been openly discussing it around the luncheon table and/or drinks table for five years prior but THEY DID NOT WANT TO WRITE ABOUT IT.

      • Nic919 says:

And yet they continue to promote lies.

In the world of social media nothing is kept a secret for long. It will come out. Billy tried to hide his gardening activities but he couldn’t control what was being said out of the UK media, and people in the UK can now find out quite easily what is being said. I’m sure there is much more to be discovered.

      • BayTampaBay says:

@Nic919 – I want the whole truth to come out ASAP because I just want to know who started all of this and why.

There has to be a ground zero somewhere and for some reason.

  33. one of the Marys says:

If Harry was at all ambivalent about his decision everything since must be very reassuring to him that it was the right one. I really hope they’re not reading this stuff but paying a staff member/PR firm to survey the media and address anything particularly aggregious.

  34. starryfish29 says:

If these people weren’t getting paid to write this nonsense, they’d rightfully be considered stalkers. It’s creepy as all get out.

  35. Lizzie says:

I liked Diana but she was vengeful during and after her divorce – not saying she was wrong or I wouldn’t feel the same in her shoes. She arranged pap shots to overshadow Charles whenever she could plus the Morton book.
Meghan has never been vengeful, never said one word about the anyone in the RF. She continues to be pure class.

    • Tessa says:

Diana was up against a pair of manipulators Charles and Camilla and his friends. They went to the press and leaked stories. She had no choice. The actual divorce was relatively peaceful. She and Charles met up at William’s Christening and things looked civil then. But I don’t think Charles and DIana totally trusted each other. The Morton book was to get her side out and in retrospect it was a good thing otherwise all the “leaks” by Charles cronies would never have been defended. Charles is super vengeful, Penny Junor said he and Camilla cooperated with her on her series of books Charles Victim or VIllain and THe Duchess, which trashed Diana. And DIana could no longer defend herself. I think Charles jealous attitude towards his wife was always a problem even before the two started not getting along. Even when she was a teen and newly engaged to him he said “I guess I’ll have to get used to the backs of photographers when she’s around.

    • Tessa says:

Meghan and Harry are so happy together and Meghan is so lucky she has a husband who is proud of her and not pettily jealous. Meghan supports Harry and the two are a great team.

  36. MsIam says:

I think this is very sad. I can’t even work up any more anger or even righteous indignation, I’m just done. I do know that I hope William or Kate or any of the royals never ever gives any more speeches about “bullying” or “kindness”. If they do I hope they choke on their words.

  37. S808 says:

Everyone else finds this highly disturbing as well right? This is…….unhinged and dangerous. Actively hoping Harry will leave his wife and 1 yr old son and never return to them is disturbing. People want them BOTH to disappear so Harry will come back(he won’t) and start a new family with a white woman and they never have to hear about Meghan and Archie again. This is so sinister.

    • morrigan01 says:

You’d think they’d understand that talking this way about his wife and son will make him NEVER go back. That, just from *talking* this way, *writing* things like this *saying* things like this . . . if anything actually ever DID happen to his wife and son, he would blame THEM for it and STILL never go back.

Because that is exactly what would happen. Harry has the same internet the rest of us do. The book already said he’s had secret social media accounts. What makes people think he doesn’t have any right now? He’s seeing what people are saying, and – just as he himself has said he does – is taking down the names of who is saying what.

What people better do is hope and pray nothing happens to Meghan and Archie. Because if something does, Harry’ll come for you. He’ll come for this woman and anyone else he feels put their lives in danger. They just do not understand that this man Is. Not. Playing.

    • Sid says:

It’s downright scary to see self-proclaimed journalists behaving in this manner. Telling a person to dump their spouse and baby. How can you be that unhinged?

    • Lanie says:

I’m never shocked at the lows white supremacy will sink to.

    • A says:

The worst part about it all is, the press and the tabloids would never take responsibility for the stuff they incite in their pages. They insist, time and again, that they only publish things, and they’re not responsible for how their readership interprets what they public and how it shapes their views.

But it’s just not as clear cut as all that, is it? They would like for this to be true, will insist that this is true, because they want to be able to sleep at night, after putting pen to paper and destroying lives to make a wage during the day. But the fact is simply that they lack a conscience, and they choose to lack a conscience every day they do things like this.

  38. Mina_Esq says:

This made me sad 🙁 Why can’t these people let go already? It’s really mean-spirited. They are actively rooting for a young family to fall apart. Garbage people.

Toxic people think youre holding a grudge when really youre holding a boundary
Stay away from people who think youre arguing when you explain yourself
Ive had past relationships with toxic people and these are just some of the things that some to kind reading this.
The British press and monarchy are just revealing how toxic they are just like kates friends in that magazine interview-they have no self awareness so they actually think theyre defending themselves and painting themselves in a flattering light. But remember Meghan had a hand in the magazine article about kate right? Kate assumed that because thats what she did to meghan, they project-accusing others of the very things theyve done. its like a cheating spouse accusing their spouse of the cheating -because they know they were able to so it without being caught redhanded

  40. JillyBean says:

There’s a reason why so many North Americans’ ancestors left over there!

  41. L4frimaire says:

I don’t bother to read any of the screeds Morgan or his wife writes. It’s more of the same. I hope the book mentions the stalker level abuse of Piers Morgan, calls him out. These people are constantly shouting abuse at Meghan, told her to “ go back to America”, on national TV, which is so incredibly racist and xenophobic, then have the balls to criticize them because they left, don’t want the taxpayer money or protection, and decided to put their family first. They really want to destroy this woman. They can all go directly to hell, do not pass go, do not collect $200. Straight to hell.

  42. February-Pisces says:

All this hate is apparently justified by the fact she sent an email at 5am, ate an avocado may or may not have made poor Kate cry over tights. Seriously the reasons to hate Meghan are so f*cking weak. Meghan would literally have to be a serial killer to justify this level of hatred. Except for the fact the DM are actually sympathetic to killers, like the one who murdered jo cox whilst shouting ‘Britain first’.

The RF can hate Meghan all they want, they absolutely adored jimmy saville, and Lord Mountbatten, not to mention Epstein. So what does that tell you about them?

I suspect the Vipers lurk these threads so I would like to say to them, keep going with your racist behaviour in the press. The more the press trash Meghan, the stronger her case looks in the future. They are pushing their hatred so far to the right, that those who are central will no longer be able to deny what the palace, the media and the Cainbridges are doing. Just like Donald trump, the only supporters they will have left are the hard core racists. The central/don’t really care people will jump to meghans side.

    • BayTampaBay says:

“Except for the fact the DM are actually sympathetic to killers, like the one who murdered jo cox whilst shouting ‘Britain first’.”

What a line. This should be the post of the week!

I don’t think Harry’s idea of leaving the monarchy was to live under the microscope of HW.

    • Nic919 says:

It’s the British media scrutinizing him not the American media. It’s the British media sending drones over his house not the American media. It’s a lie to pretend it would have made any difference where he lived because the paps were trying to get to him in North Saalich BC as well.

      • Ginger says:

Exactly. Their coverage here has been pretty fair. I have noticed when Katie Nicholl talks about them here in the US, it’s a lot nicer. She saves her vileness for the U.K. I’m sure Harry is liking the media here. We don’t obsess over them.

    • Vanessa says:

Hollywood is not attacking Harry every move it’s same people who have been harassing and bullying his wife for three years now . It’s the British tabloids that have been stalking them since the move to Los Angeles the British tabloids were the ones who leaked their location their the ones who are paying photographer to fly drones over their home to get pictures of the Sussex’s. Everyday the daily mail has over a dozen stories about Meghan the British tabloids and royal reporters who boldly claimed that the Sussex’s we’re irrelevant that the royal family will be better without them can’t go day without having Meghan and Harry name in their mouths . This is literally the eighth article that the British press has written begging Harry to come back to them they have reached desperately new low . The royal reporters and royal family Know they need Harry but Harry doesn’t need them him and Meghan are international couple .

      • 809Matriarch says:

OMG. Did Quill say they are “stuck in someone else’s house?”

What the heck do you think they were doing in FC. Stuck in a house that was not their own. That ramshackle piece of property was decrepit and had to be revamped to make it a single family home. It was up for renovation anyway. The Queen didn’t GIVE them that heap. She rented it to them and gave them the key. So, they paid for renovations that any LANDLORD would be responsible for doing to rental property in the first place. They just wanted to get out of there so bad, it was worth the however many millions they are paying just to be away from the constant sniping about “tax payer” funds. They are not STUCK, they are guests of a very successful, rich and generous African American man, who probably feels compassion for them after observing the insanity of folks like Piers Morgan, or the slanderous coverage of people like Camel Tomato and the gaslighting passive aggressive “reporting” of folks like Dickie Arbiter and Chris Ship. I would love to be stuck in a luxurious home like that!

    • notasugarhere says:

Their family unit moved back to Meghan’s home town to be near her mother. As written above, the greater L.A. metroplex is not made up solely of ‘Hollywood’.

      • The Quill says:

I think somewhere in Africa where no one cares who he is would have been his first choice. Not Hollywood! Stuck in someone else’s house. Whether it be British press or American he’s going to be hounded. He’s an outdoor person. This isn’t his choice and will be the end of H&M because I think it ‘s what she wants. That’s all fine if they want the same thing but I don’t think it is. I cant imagine the stress they must be under. They must take some responsibility for the situation they now find themselves in. It’s not everyone else’s fault.

      • Ennie says:

Yeah, right. Please, do tell, besides the exile in the middle of nowhere, how would he become financially independent then?
He might be active and outdoorsy, but he knew that leaving and putting the royal rota in the spot would mean attacks and criticism on his finances. He has to become independent, and that is not reached in utopia.
Ps: I can see the press criticising him/ them for daring To take planes to visit her mother in LA. The horror!

      • BayTampaBay says:

@The Quill – Do you think the Sussexes would have attracted less British media attention if they had stayed in British Columbia, Canada or relocated to New York City?

Also, what do you think the Sussexes should have done differently? I would really love to hear your thoughts on this subject .

      • Nic919 says:

Wow sending them to Africa is totally not racist. There is no reason to have them live there. Neither Meghan or Harry have any links to Africa meanwhile Meghan is from Los Angeles which is her hometown and where her mother lives. Why can’t she live near her mother? William gets praised for being with the Middletons but Harry can’t be with his own mother in law? The only parent who hasn’t sold them out? Stop with the racist tumblr tropes. It’s gross.

      • morrigan01 says:

Oh look, some one who, once again, is promoting the racist idea that Africa is one collective monolithic backwater without mass media or the internet. What a shock. *eyeroll*

First off, “Hollywood” is actually one *neighborhood* in Los Angeles. It’s not even its own *city.* Because Los Angeles County is actually made up of several incorporated individual cities that usually get collectively referred to as LA.

Harry and Meghan are living in Beverly Hills which, guess what? Is its OWN CITY in Los Angeles County. So no, they actually do NOT live in Hollywood. Not even West Hollywood which funny enough IS its own city in LA County.

Second, the American press are not the ones hounding him. The press here in the US actually have bigger fish to fry and focus on than them and ARE. (Pandemic and upcoming Presidential Election). The people that haver been bothering them with drones are NOT the US tabloids or other US media because they know pulling that shit in LA County is ILLEGAL. It’s all foreign tabloids and media that are focused on them and doing things like the drone stuff. We here in LA actually have anti-paparazzi laws – yes that is what they are called – that protect high profile individuals who live here. So the microscope they are under is NOT a Hollywood one. “Hollywood” as you call it, has pretty much left them alone.

      • notasugarhere says:

morrigan01, that’s what I was thinking. A very thinly disguised troll who thinks ‘Africa’ is a monolith. Who agrees with William’s racist idea they should be banished to such a place, which they assume is filled with wildlife and no technology of any kind.

      • BayTampaBay says:

“A very thinly disguised troll who thinks ‘Africa’ is a monolith.”

@nota – A thinly disguised troll who does not play by the rules. If one is ask to defend one’s posted position on CeleBitchy (for purpose of debate) then one does it. Great debate and so many knowledgeable regulars is why this site is so awesome.

    • Sid says:

What HW microscope? If it weren’t for the British lunatic fringe masquerading as press, we would barely be seeing any stories about Meghan and Harry.

    • Lanie says:

Good thing your thoughts aren’t facts. Hollywood isn’t bothering them. UK tabloids are.

Maybe those papers should focus on their own country and the pedophile rapist being protected by the queen.

      • The Quill says:

Finding Freedom added fuel to the fire. I agree the British press are relentless but so are the paparazzi in HW. That’s reality!! H&M going after the tabloids is a mistake. They’re only making it worse and the book doesn’t exactly cast a positive light on either of them. The whole thing is sad.

      • BnLurkN4eva says:

@The quill you are either not reading the responses to you, or not understanding them. The American media aren’t bothering H/M, just like the Canadian media didn’t bother them. The UK media are the ones stalking H/M, but they’ve been doing that since it was revealed that Meghan was dating Harry. It ramped up later when she proved to be excellent at duchessing. They hound them out of their first rental home, they hound them by purchasing information when H/M lived at KM and they hound them at Frogmore. During her maternity leave she was written about more than all the other royals put together by, none other than the BM. Except for the petty annoyances brought to them by the stalking BM, they are just good in LA, that is as much as anyone can be during a pandemic. They didn’t write the book, so the blaming them for the BM harassment because of said book is ridiculous. Besides, book, no book, it seems as long as Harry is with Meghan, his stalkers, the BM are intent on harassing them both.

      • Nic919 says:

Honestly the trolling is tiresome. This book will make a ton of money and the media will have fits but who cares. They also went on about lady Colin Campbell’s book and basically everything Meghan and Harry do is scrutinized. The UK media prefers to be racist than do their job and focus on why the Queen is harbouring a rapist of underaged girls in a sex trafficking ring.

      • notasugarhere says:

Well now we know. The next time The Quill shows up, we can label them an established troll so their comments can be deleted.

      • BayTampaBay says:

@nota – Do not forget to take The Quill off the Christmas Card list!

    • 809Matriarch says:

I just saw Tyler Perry this morning being interviewed by Gayle King. She playfully asked him about Harry & Meghan living in his house and he playfully responded by pretending the sound went out on his ear piece. The people in their new neighborhood are not the ones putting them under a microscope. All of the drones, the fence wire cutters, the pap shutterbugs have been deployed by unscrupulous UK tabloid outlets. Also, it is not your business to speculate on what you THINK Harry’s motivations for leaving are, Mz. Quill. He made his reasons quite plain. They wanted to stay and work for the Queen but NOT be required to deal with the royal rota who work for outlets that have hounded Meghan in particular for nearly 5 years. The UK media relentlessly deployed hostile envious and greedy family members to bash the Duchess of Sussex almost on a daily basis. Even though most people with critical thinking skills have observed the obvious animosity Scamantha Grant-Markle and Meghan’s sperm donor have toward her.

Of note, none of those Markle-billies have EVER been given carte blanche to malign Meghan’s character in American media, print or otherwise. Even this new book, which Tubby Markle (sperm donor) has had no input in, was dragged out to give his opinion on their “whining”, when that monstrous man has made whining an Olympic style marathon, culminating in his stupid pronouncement earlier this year that the royals, Harry and Meghan OWE HIM. Harry and Meghan are not going to be subjected to seeing that scruffy scrounger lying about her for money in the US.

Per Tim Shipman, Harry’s own brother, reached out to media big wigs and got them on board to utilize and magnify the most negative information about Meghan’s relationship with that sperm whale. Meanwhile, Tyler Perry is acting more like a brother than William ever did. Nacho Figueres is also a brother to him and not William. William colluded with Flybe last summer to troll H&M, pretending to be budget and eco-conscious by taking the Cambridge fam on a budget flight. But a Scottish newspaper broke the news that Flybe ended up having to fly empty aircraft – leaving a gigantic carbon footprint – all done to make the Sussexes look bad. Meanwhile, Meghan, Harry & Archie are enjoying being close to THE ONE FAMILY MEMBER (Meghan’s mother, Archie’s grandmother and Harry’s mother-in-law), who has NEVER sold them out. Heck, I don’t even know what Doria Ragland’s voice sounds like.

In conclusion Ms. Quill stay in your lane PLEASE! As another poster said. H&M are not in HOLLYWOOD. They’re in Beverly Hills. They are in a place where there are STRICT anti paparazzi laws in place to provide them with remedies to address invasions of privacy. Captain Harry Wales, the Prince and Duke has got his family covered. He has a battle plan and I for one am excited to watch him work it!

  44. Busy Bee says:

    If something happens to
Meghan like it did to his mother I see Harry taking a scorched earth approach against the RF. They would be wise to step in and shut down some of the talk.

    • BnLurkN4eva says:

I agree. But these people have never been smart just callous and vengeful.

    • morrigan01 says:

Harry will burn the entire RF to the GROUND if something happens to his wife and son. Now, given that Rupert Murdoch doesn’t like the RF and reportedly has a whole bunch of dirt on the RF that he’s going to release once the Queen dies, I don’t think he’d care and would actually encourage it. And the RRs do get marching orders from him some times, I’m sure of it.

But the RF and courtiers and such are just playing along into such a thing head first in how they are working with the RRs to do this stuff, and putting Meghan and Archie in possible danger.

    • Marigold says:

I honestly think, given how dim-witted and dug-in these idiots are, they’re going to push him to precisely this.

These two people come from dysfunctional families that do not show the love and normal attachment of regular families. They instinctively went to live with/near the ONLY relative either of them has who could be called family (Meghan’s mother).

I’ve heard Harry speak obliquely about his family and his opinion of being royal since he was old enough to answer questions in interviews. He has NEVER been all about that life. He’s a rich white kid who exposed himself to the unwashed masses and discovered that he likes us better.

If they don’t sit down and shut up, Harry will end up going nuclear on their backsides. He will absolutely burn that situation to the ground if they don’t stop. He has lived his entire life trying to come to terms with the duty and responsibility of being royal despite his distaste for it. He has shown up, posed for the cameras, and tried to find his niche in the work of that world, but that will stop cold if even moving his family to another hemisphere doesn’t stop the BS.

  45. mk says:

Tax Rupert Murdoch at 90% and all of this nonsense disappears.

  46. ravynrobyn says:

I’ve never read anything more depraved.
I’m literally terrified for this sweet family.

  47. The Recluse says:

I don’t think Harry is even likely to pop in for a visit if they keep this foolishness up.

  48. Deeanna says:

I ALWAYS suspected that Diana was murdered, right from the get go. It was just too, too convenient for Charles. I am not saying he directly ordered it, but someone may have wanted to please him by accomplishing her death.

Since the car crash I’ve read most all of the investigation documents and many, many of the books that were written. And my mind has not changed.

    Here’s why:
1.) The chauffer, Henri Paul, was supposed to be drunk. Very drunk. The videos at the hotel of him prior to the crash do NOT support this. Walking, bending over to tie his shoe, etc.

2.) The blood of Henri Paul had a VERY high level of carbon monoxide. Extremely high. So high that various doctors have stated that anyone with that level of CO would barely be conscious. The blood test information is a FACT, not a supposition.

And what it means is the blood was switched. To show a high level of alcohol. But somebody screwed up, not knowing that the substitute blood would be full of carbon monoxide. As in a suicide.

The never explained – because there just is no rational explanation – high level of carbon monoxide gave away that there was indeed something not right with the whole “accident” scenario.

3.) The speed with which the tunnel was cleaned up, washed down and re-opened to traffic. The “accident” was shortly after midnight. The tunnel was cleaned up and open to traffic again by 7:00AM. A record, according to people who lived in the area.

4.) The traffic camera at the entrance to the tunnel was inoperable that night. Hmmm…

As time went on and more and more facts became public as one investigation after another took place, I just became more and more convinced it was a murder.

I’ve always wondered if one or both of her sons don’t think so too. They can read about it as easily as anyone else. Wouldn’t you if it was your mother?

    • Clarissa says:

Wow. I’ve never dug that deep into Diana’s death, but if those are the facts, than that IS very suspicious !

  49. Alexandria says:

This must be the weirdest most insane method of asking someone to come back.

    Take care Harry and family.

  50. A says:

“Perhaps these two will grow out of their rancour and grow old, in a Beverly Hills mansion so large there’s a new bathroom to be discovered every month of the year.”

These are big words coming from a dumb bitch speaking up in favour of a monarchy that, to this day, doesn’t know the full extent of the assets and jewelry they have hidden in their vaults, because it serves them perfectly well to not know this information and have it written down for the record.

  51. What eating you says:

Some of these trolls are so insane that it’s almost scary. Someone used there work credentials to look up information on Doria and Meghan.

    • Tessa says:

The trolls now are all shrill about Harry taking ARchie from Meghan and running back to the Cambridges so Archie can be with his Aunt, Uncle and Cousins.

      • 809Matriarch says:

These people are unbelievable! I feel for Harry. He THOUGHT the royal family was the family Meghan never had, when in fact – they seem like a rich shiny version of the Markle snake pit she left behind. That entire firm is nauseating. Glad they got outta there!
