God help California. What a horror show.

It is great to see a dress look better on someone who is not a model! Go Taraji!
Jimmy’s “Aunts” are adorable but I just can’t click on anything else right now. Praying that we will wake up to a better world soon.

    Go Naomi!

  4. Tiffany says:

    Good on Naomi.

  5. MissMarierose says:

I’m glad that Naomi is standing up for her principles. Since Serena didn’t make it to the finals this year, I will be rooting for Naomi to win it all!

Lily Allen and David Harbour got married in Vegas.

Lily posted a couple pics on her social media.

Just some joyful news to share in this hellscape called 2020.

Taraji looks amazing in that dress. She has a mixture of intensity and sweetness that’s so compelling. I’m so thankful she’s getting the attention she richly deserves….

In that second photo, that was where the interviewer breathlessly asked Naomi how she chooses what mask to wear each game. To which Naomi replied she didn’t really have a method, that it was a feeling. Then the interviewer cheerfully announced she was “excited” to see what mask she would wear next match. The tone was so disturbingly clueless and I found myself furious. Naomi, bless her is young and still coming into her own voice and was very polite about it, but I wanted to scream through my TV “THIS IS NOT SOMETHING TO BE EXCITED ABOUT”. This isn’t fashion, and it isn’t a fun gimmick for christs sake. It is a sad fact that Naomi has far too many options for who’s name she will wear. It’s not F*&ing exciting, it’s tragic. I hope someone told that stupid woman to give her head a shake.

Naomi is on track to win US open tomorrow so I’m sure she’s just fine

  10. Suz says:

If Naomi wins this year, at least Serena stans won’t be there to boo her. Nothing against Serena. But that was horrible to watch two years ago. I realize they were booing the penalty on Serena and not Naomi, but time and place. That poor woman (Naomi).
And the booing football fans are trash.

    • BabsORIG says:

Can’t Naomi have her moment without people putting Serena into it?

      • Lolafalana says:

Sadly, the answer to that question is no (at least until that episode is well and truly in the rear view mirror), and that’s all thanks to Serena and her fans. That’s the point.

    • kerwood says:

You’re the one who brought it up. No Serena fans have had anything to say against Naomi. It seems that extreme hatred of Serena make people see thing that aren’t there.

      Go Naomi!

Oregon too! We have massive fires that are 0% contained about 30 miles from Portland, coming straight for us, and no one is talking about it.

    • ravynrobyn says:

@ JENSIES-man, I’m so very sorry. Sending prayers and hugs. I’m in CA, north of San Francisco and south of Healdsburg. We’re ok so far, but it’s damn scary. Take care 💕💕

    • Nana says:

      Hi Jensies,
You may already be across this but here is a site to help you have a wildfire plan – https://www.ready.gov/wildfires

We had bushfires come as close as across the road where I live in Australia – we lived with the risk for over a month… raking the yard every day because it was so dry from years of drought. The public messaging here is to make a plan about what you’ll do and leave early if you are not planning to stay and defend your property. It’s when people decide to leave too late that causes deaths and injuries, as they get trapped on roads by fires as they’re trying to leave. Here’s the gist of the public messaging we receive before and during bushfire season: https://www.rfs.nsw.gov.au/resources/bush-fire-survival-plan.

      Good luck and stay safe.
