Amelia Hamlin is the daughter of Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin. While I don’t pay too much attention to Lisa Rinna, I’m aware of the fact that Rinna has been trying to make her two daughters “happen” for a few years. It’s not full-on like Cindy Crawford/Kaia Gerber or Kris Jenner/all of her daughters, but there have been enough planted stories in People Magazine to make me aware of the fact that Lisa has two attractive young daughters and they want to be famous. Amelia is the younger daughter, and she’s just 19 years old. Over Halloween, Amelia was hanging out with Scott Disick, and they seemingly attended some parties and nightclubs together. There were some conversations about whether or not they were dating, especially given that Scott and Sofia Richie broke up months ago. Now there’s a confirmation: Scott and Amelia were photographed strolling together on a beach, with Scott’s arm around Amelia. They’re together, and this is the rollout.
Scott Disick can’t stay single for very long … and his latest fling is with a 19-year-old with some very famous parents. Disick and Amelia Hamlin — daughter of Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin — were arm-on-shoulder Monday in Santa Barbara. The two recently hung out at a Halloween party … so it appears things have gotten way past the friend zone.
As you know, 37-year-old Disick recently split with 22-year-old Sofia Richie after dating for 3 years. Sofia’s dad, of course, is none other than Lionel Richie … so, more famous parents.
Scott and Kourtney Kardashian — with whom he shares 3 kids — recently took a few trips together … but we’re told the two were strictly co-parenting and having fun together as friends.
Disick had a brief stint in rehab earlier this year — the word was he was dealing with some lingering emotional traumas including his parents’ deaths.
As I said in my previous post about this, I don’t get how Scott Disick, with ALL of his issues and baggage, continues to “date” these super-young girls. Yes, there’s nothing “illegal” about a 37-year-old man dating a 19-year-old. But it’s still disgusting and reprehensible. And I do wonder what Lisa Rinna and Harry have to say about this, just as I wondered what Cindy Crawford had to say about Kaia’s relationship with Pete Davidson, or what Kris Jenner had to say about Kylie and Tyga. I don’t get it from a “Hollywood mom” perspective. Why would you want your teenage daughter to get famous by dating some gross older man with issues and baggage? Ugh. (Also: I keep bringing up Kaia Gerber because I honestly think Amelia looks so much like Kaia. Like a mix of Kaia and Sofia Richie, bizarrely.)

It’s because they are super young that his issues don’t raise more red flags than a communist picnic for these young women. I guess for a time it is romantic and dramatic that he is a fu*k up, with three kids and a Kardashian ex. Them against the world, however I don’t get why the parents of these teenagers are not dropping in there out of helicopters Apocalypse Now style and dragging them out of there by their hair.
I try to not comment on these age gap posts anymore because I’ve started to repeat myself to much (although I will NEVER stop reminding people of how Leo have known his latest squeese since she was a child, so I’ve slipped a little on that), but how can anybody scroll past “It’s because they are super young that his issues don’t raise more red flags than a communist picnic for these young women” and not tell Zapp that he/she/they just won the internet?
Agree. What do they see in him? He’s such a loser but with famewhore in-laws. Maybe these girls think he has real connections in Hollywood somehow? (shrugs)
They see fame in him. “Dating” Scott Disick gets you paparazzi pictures and 15 minutes of fame. Something this family has been chasing for years.
Exactly! I can see how the teens are romantic and naive enough to be overawed by an older man with fame and some cachet, but I also wonder what the parents are doing. I know that by age 18, they are adults, but it seems like these ladies were still on the parental gravy train, so I don’t understand not putting a stop to it.

I agree he’s gross for this but I actually understand the parents taking a step back. 1) these girls are legally adults and they can’t force him out. 2) they need a place to land when the inevitable happens and often teens and very young adults will stay in bad situation as a sort of #@$& you to their parents even if it’s a bad situation.
Look at Kaia Gerber and Pete Davidson. Her parents waited it out and when he had an inevitable breakdown because he still hasn’t gone back to getting healthy Cindy Crawford swooped in took Kaia home and got him out of her house over a weekend. The best thing to do here is state your concerns one time in a nice way then be supportive, listen, and wait.

Lisa have been trying to make her girls a thing for a while now. I believe she sold her soul to the Fail just as Kris Jenner has, because every time one of the girls post a bikini shot, there is an article about it.

Who does he think he is? Leonardo DiCaprio? The Scott Disick girlfriend experience is a whole lot less fame inducing than the Leo girlfriend experience. They age out, then fall back on their famous parent(s) names for anything. Scott is not the ticket, girls.

My take is that these Hollywood Moms / Parents have commodified their kids from day one and do not think of them as kids. they’ve been pushed to ‘work’ from a young age, ie. build a brand, get famous and therefore, they are not children, they are working “adults” who can do as they please as long as it makes them more famous and more money. it’s sad to me that these kids are pushed into this lifestyle so young and i never got the sense that Amelia was really interested in it other than her mother pushing for it. she even said as much regarding being on Housewives (ie. her mother “pushed her” into it).

But honestly, if my 19-year-old daughter even acted like she was gonna get with a divorced addict with three kids who’s pushing 40, I would put my GD foot down. Apart from the fact that he has no discernible character or ambition (other than going on pap strolls for money), he should be taking care of his kids.
As for her, at that age, she has no business trying to be a S.O. for this loser and her parents should step in. I don’t care how “famous” he is. Take away all the cameras and the PR, the reality on the ground is that he’s a loser.

What I REALLY came here to say is how much I can’t stand Lisa Rinna. I’m 38 and it feels like she’s been famous for nothing my entire life! I know she married Harry Hamlin (ehh) and is now on a Housewives show, but what did she do before? Those baboon anus lips and terrible flip haircut are horrible.
She was, way back when, a popular character on a popular soap, Days of Our Lives, where she originated the character of Billie Reed. I remember her because that’s when I watched DOOL (90s)

So they are unable to have relationships with maturity past the time they became addicted.
If Disick is unable to date women over a certain age, it says something about his maturity. Hes had a long time to address it, as well. It’s now just predatory. Younger women tend to be less aware of red flags, just by sheer experience.

After Lisa shared Amelia’s mental health struggles that led to her dropping out of college on Real Housewives, I got truly concerned. I always liked Rinna but there was an awkward scene where, on air, she asked Amelia if she caused her ED by “flaunting” her body publicly. I really hope she is getting support off air. I’ve had a soft spot for Scott after he lost both his parents suddenly in one year and the K family did not seem supportive. I remember an episode when Kourtney seemed annoyed to help him clean out his family home on Long Island and didn’t understand why it was so difficult for him. But I am disappointed to see him date a series of very young women. Scott do better.
