Don Trump Jr. has coronavirus, did it happen at a WH superspreader event?

On Tuesday, November 3rd, the Trump campaign was yet again violating the Hatch Act by throwing a little campaign party in the White House. It was Election Night and there were taxpayer-funded hors d’oeuvres to eat as hundreds of maskless dumbasses congregated in a few reception rooms. In the wee hours of the morning on November 4th, Donald Trump waddled out and gave an unhinged press conference where he “claimed” a bunch of states would end up voting for Joe Biden in large numbers. That too was a maskless superspreader event. In those hours, dozens of people caught the coronavirus, including Ben Carson, WH chief of staff Mark Meadows, many Secret Service agents and, you’ll never guess, Don Trump Jr. Don was there that night, and by my math, that’s when he caught Covid.

Donald Trump Jr. has tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). A spokesperson for Trump Jr. tells PEOPLE that he tested positive earlier this week and has been in isolation.

“Don tested positive at the start of the week and has been quarantining out at his cabin since the result,” the spokesperson said. “He’s been completely asymptomatic so far and is following all medically recommended COVID-19 guidelines.” In a Saturday morning update, Trump Jr.’s father Donald Trump said that his son ” is doing very well.”

Trump Jr.’s father and Melania Trump both tested positive for the contagious respiratory virus in early October. At the time, Trump Jr. and his brother Eric Trump tested negative for COVID-19. Like his father, Trump Jr. has continuously downplayed the severity of COVID-19 throughout the pandemic. In July, he was blocked from his own Twitter account for 12 hours as punishment for spreading misinformation about the virus.

The United States has had more than 11.8 million positive cases of COVID-19 since the pandemic began, and at least 253,223 people have died from the virus as of Friday, according to data from the New York Times.

My timeline makes sense, right? The incubation period varies from a few days to about 8 days or so. My guess is that while Don might have only tested positive a week ago, he was symptomatic days earlier (which is probably why he got the test in the first place). As for Don… yes, I think he’s a cross-eyed cokehead loser dumbass, but am I really the kind of person who laughs when a Trump gets coronavirus? Yes. I am. Oh, and apparently Andrew Giuliani – Rudy’s dumbf–k son – also has the virus. *clears throat*

Also, just further evidence that the Biden-Harris people are probably going to have to wait a few days before moving into the White House and Naval Observatory. There needs to be a deep cleaning everywhere. And then bring in some shamans, healers and priests to decontaminate the demons and bad juju.

He tweeted last week that media coverage of the virus before the election was politically biased and now that the election is over, there’s no more news about the virus and it magically went away. Karma!

I suspect his five kids are relieved they won’t have to see Daddy for Thanksgiving

    • Esmom says:

The level of gaslighting this family has perpetrated about the virus blows my mind. Here in IL, the governor had to impose heavier restrictions because it’s gotten so bad. Yet my MAGA former co-worker is posting all over FB about how he’s not a “sheep” and will continue to frequent his non-compliant bars and restaurants and F masks. Meanwhile those of us who are trying to adhere to safety and common sense will keep paying he price for their selfishness, fueled by deplorable Don Junior.

      • Swack says:

The County Exec here put in new restrictions, no more indoor dining or bars indoor, and people are pissed. Restaurants are suing. It’s because our governor is an idiot and won’t do a mask mandate and people are stupid.

      • (TheOG) Jan90067 says:

Most of California is now purple and restrictions are back, along with a 10 pm curfew to prevent congregating around bars/restaurants (which can now only have outdoor tables (with a reduction in those as well). And yet, I still see SO MANY walking around w/out masks. What part of 255 THOUSAND DEAD IN LESS THAN 9 MOS. do they not “get”? What part of 12 MILLION INFECTION with long term health issues do they not understand??? Do they think the *entire world* decided to pull a “hoax” on the Lame Duck á L’orange to “make him look bad”????

I am an introvert by nature, but even I am sick of staying home. But I keep my a$$ inside, or wear a mask when I have to go out, because that is the fastest way to curb the spread.

Sigh…these republiTHUGS (and no, not *all*, but you know the ones we’re talking about) GGRR&*^%$#@!!!!!!!!!!

      • Lizzie says:

Swack, are you referring to St Louis County? I wish there was a better solution for restaurants but I’m glad the lawsuit failed.
Surrounding county’s no masking is causing all our hospitals to start filling up.
With so many still having company for thanksgiving I just cannot imagine how bad it will be by Christmas.

      • Swack says:

@Lizzie, yes. And they all flaunt how they can go to the city or other counties and eat in. My 16 yr old grandson is out of a job right now because of it. It drives me nuts to see people not doing the right thing. I haven’t been hiking with my BFF since this began because her husband has compromised lungs and her mom is 95. While I do l the right things, I still won’t take the risk. Not doing Thanksgiving and am hoping to do Christmas. We’ll see.

Let’s stop giving this family media time. Full stop.

    • ola says:

Honestly, I didn’t know he has 5 kids. I will pray for them tonight.

  2. fluffy_bunny says:

I read somewhere else that the rumor was he’s in rehab and the covid positive is a cover story.

    • Bre says:

I could believe that but if he his I doubt Trump knows. remember he mocked texts between Biden and Hunter when he was in rehab.

I don’t want the the trumps to die from COVID but I wouldn’t mind it they got a side effect of hair loss.

    • Louisa says:

That was my first thought when I heard he had tested positive. I can’t believe anything that a Trump says at this point. While I don’t think he would voluntarily go to rehab, I wouldn’t be surprised if is ex wife insisted he went or she’d pull visitation rights from him (if he even has any)

      • Lightpurple says:

I think she has taken steps to reduce or cut his visitation. He used to post pictures of the kids all the time, usually for some snarky political reason, but the last time he even mentioned them was Father’s Day with some sad pictures and a video in which he repeatedly wrenches the youngest boy’s little arm. Since then, he doesn’t seem to ever be with them. He’s on Twitter non-stop every weekend and Vanessa tweets about dealing with remote schooling of five kids by herself.

    • Lightpurple says:

Would he still be tweeting from rehab? Don’t they usually limit access to phones/social media initially? He’s still tweeting.

      • Chaine says:

He could just have someone tweet for him. Probably his awful girlfriend.

      • fluffy_bunny says:

My BIL was recently in rehab and he didn’t have a phone. But he wasn’t in a fancy rehab that I’d imagine a Trump child would be in.

      • Marietta58 says:

He’s Don Jr, pretty sure he’d be allowed. The fancy rehabs let the rich/famous do whatever they want. Trust me, its not such a bad thing having equine therapy and spa treatments. Rich/famous people have it easy. Go to the rehabs that are state funded and it’s a different story.

Also, pretty sure I’ve heard of a few rehab centers that allow celebs phones. He would fall under that unfortunately.

      • AmyB says:

My ex-husband had been to rehab before – they definitely cut you off from access to anything. LIKE nothing. No phones, no social media. PERIOD. Maybe one ten minute phone call per day. These are pretty common practices in rehabs, if he actually went to one. But as someone else said, if he is at one where they are more privileged, then who knows?? Probably why those people don’t really succeed in getting sober LOL. If you are still engaging on your phone and distracting yourself, you aren’t focused on your sobriety and the work you are supposed to be doing on yourself. But it’s not like Don, Jr. gives a shit about that ! What a truly horrible person he is. Remember when he said, just recently, that COVID was “next to nothing” – meanwhile some 250,000 people have died from it, and now that asshat has it. I loathe him almost as much as his POS father

    • Digital Unicorn says:

That was my thought, he’s getting clean to make a run for office against Jarvanka. There is def sh!t brewing between him and his sister and I can see him taking advantage of the lawsuits that are coming her way to throw her to the wolves.

Plus I wish COVID-19 a speedy recovery from its case of ‘Coked out Trump’.

      • Elle Eagle says:

Ugh. You think that he might be gearing up to compete with Ivanka? Totally possible except there’s another way this could go down: ivanka’s being the favorite means that she benefited the most from her her family’s tax avoidance schemes (Like Fred senior did with his kids). Possibly her big bro’ knows that she is likely to go down with the Trump family ship “Lax Tax Enforcement”?

Either way, we win. Can you imagine a Trump-v-Trump campaign???

    • Swack says:

His tweet did mention something about not having red eyes like in the fall when he was accused of being a drug addict. Makes sense now why he tweeted that.

    • Lizzie says:

While I can believe he needs rehab it goes against the trump family motto to never admit they are not perfect.

  3. Teebee says:

Every time these awful people on the Republican side gets COVID they cannot wait to brag about how they are feeling great, no symptoms, no discomfort, all in an effort to downplay the seriousness of the disease and concern for contracting it.

It makes my BLOOD BOIL. Partly because I think most times they’re lying so they can continue the right’s narrative that COVID is no big deal. But it angers me most because it just seems to be another opportunity that they take to ignore and dishonour sufferers and their loved ones. There is no room for empathy with fellow citizens all in the name of supporting Trump.

Even as we appear to be waking from this nightmare we cannot seem to escape it. Pleeeease. Make it stop.

    • Swack says:

Ben Carson revealed he was pretty sick but Trump saved him because Trump approved, for him, the same cocktail of drugs that Trump had gotten.

      • BeanieBean says:

I saw that & thought my god, really? Your Dear Leader approved your medical care? Did trump’s daddy buy him a medical degree, too? The ego, the hubris, the narcissism is off the charts with this guy.

      • Ponchorella says:

So basically taxpayers saved Ben Carson’s life- at a cost of hundreds of thousands of dollars in experimental therapies that we would never receive.

    • BeanieBean says:

      My thinking exactly, teebee.

  4. Also Ali says:

Unless he ends up in the hospital, I won’t believe he has it.

  5. MaryContrary says:

I’m surprised he didn’t get it over the summer when his crazy girlfriend had it.

  6. vertes says:

Why are his eyes so red & swollen? Lately he always looks like he’s got eye infections with some slave melting on his lower lids.

  7. Rosemary says:

What was his first clue he had caught the ‘rona? Couldn’t smell the sweet floral chemical smell he loves so much?
He’s not in rehab. There’s no downside for using, no need to quit. Not seeing his kids? Please!

  8. Rapunzel says:

I think Jr. would have just quietly taken off to rehab if that was really where he was going. No need to use the virus as a cover if he can post videos and tweets from rehab. Plus, rehab normally takes 30 days, doesn’t it? Is he likely to want to pretend he has the virus for 30 days?

  9. Ivy says:

I like the other name the press gave it:
    Rose Garden Massacre!

  10. Elle Eagle says:

This pic??? Could he be any more in the closet? Like I don’t have a medical degree but it helps explain why he grew a real beard and went full MAGA when his faux beard wife left him, after having 5 kids with her definitely straight husband.
I could go on, but he is a text book example of what happens to one’s psyche when parents / society forces one to live a lie. Not excusing his behavior on anyway and not trying to out anyone – if he isn’t hiding it tho’ are we supposed to pretend that we don’t see it?

    • Betsy says:

Well, huh. I think it’s possible that his mental problems come not from being a gay man in the closet but from growing up with a horribly abusive father.

  11. LadySwampwitchGivsNeauxFux says:

I cannot wait until the trump show is over. I will never spend anymore time thinking about any of their worthless , empty husks they call people. I do hope Jared & Ivanka get it & then just go away. I don’t care anymore. It’s 59 days until the inauguration focus on that

  12. Valerie says:

Do you think these vile pieces of shit are really symptom-free? Or is it just too early for them to be feeling anything? I can’t believe that they’d all end up with mild cases that confirm their misguided belief that it’s “just like the flu.”

  13. jferber says:

The last picture where he has his very small mouth open like an O, I imagined standing back and pitching golf balls in, maybe for a charity that truly doesn’t go into these grifters’ pockets (oh yeah, real charity is probably for losers and suckers).
