Ivanka Trump is big mad that Karlie Kloss dissed her in tweet after the Capitol siege

Donald Trump signs new law to fight human trafficking

Words cannot describe the depth of my contempt for Ivanka Trump. It’s festered for years now, and I’m worried that one day, very soon, it’s just going to come tumbling out in a barrage of profanity which will get me banned from every social media site. As we saw last week, Terrorism Barbie tweeted-and-deleted a post in which she called the Capitol terrorists “American Patriots.” After deleting that, she replaced it with some feeble, mealy-mouthed “let’s all come together” statement. Years of incompetence and complicity have led to this – Ivanka sitting by, baby-whispering into the wind as her father incites a terrorist mob to abuse, threaten, harm and/or murder the Vice President, the Speaker of the House, journalists and Congressmen. When Ivanka’s sister-in-law Karlie Kloss made a strong statement about the Capitol siege, someone in her mentions asked her why she didn’t talk to Ivanka about it. Karlie replies “I’ve tried.” So now Terrorism Barbie ran to Page Six to get HER side of the sister-in-law beef out there:

Ivanka Trump was left “surprised and hurt” by sister-in-law Karlie Kloss’ social media comments amid the attack on Congress — as sources close to Kloss said the supermodel hasn’t had a “close relationship” with her for “quite some time.”

A friend of the family revealed: “The tweet was brought to Ivanka’s attention and she was mostly surprised because they’re so close and talk on a regular basis, but never really about politics.”

The insider added that “Karlie likes to position herself publicly as an activist, yet she’s never approached Ivanka on any of the issues [the model has] championed like paid maternal leave, women in STEM and criminal justice reform.” They said that for Kloss to claim she’s tried to discuss her different views is “simply not true.”

“Karlie is public with her politics, but privately shies away from discussing them,” they said. “But they are very close and they really enjoy each other’s company, so Ivanka is hurt.”

Kloss later made it clear that she truly meant her tweet, as a source close to Karlie told Page Six: “Ivanka understands Karlie’s views perfectly. They’ve had many political discussions contrary to what she and her team would have you believe. Karlie was proud to campaign for Hillary in 2016, Biden in 2020, and, in addition to supporting many key issues, has made the maximum financial contribution to Democratic campaigns across the country. She hasn’t had a close relationship with them [Jared and Ivanka] for quite some time due to the policies of the Trump administration. I think Karlie feels it’s pretty unfortunate that this is what Ivanka is choosing to spend her time on while our democracy is facing a crisis fueled by this administration.”

Meanwhile, the family friend of Ivanka and Jared added: “Understandably, the moments of the day left everyone feeling fraught and upset, but Ivanka would of course be open to hearing from Karlie about her views.”

[From Page Six]

While I will enjoy some seething Mean Girl drama playing out on Page Six, I feel like it’s my duty to remind everyone that this story came out on Friday, January 8th, two days after Ivanka’s father incited a deadly terrorist attack on the Capitol, and that Ivanka still holds the position of senior advisor to the President. Instead of, say, spending her time trying to convince her father to resign, Ivanka is actively seeking to squabble with Karlie Kloss. Two days after a terrorist attack which was promoted and incited by the Trump family.

As for the actual Ivanka-Karlie beef… Ivanka is so f–king disgusting. She’s part of the most reprehensible, bigoted, corrupt, racist, craven, misogynist administration in history and Ivanka is whining that Karlie has *never* brought her “issues” to Ivanka to discuss. What really upsets Ivanka is the dawning realization that she and Jared will be so much lower than even the lowest social pariahs in their social set. Vanity Fair had a big story about how the Capitol siege has utterly destroyed the last vestiges of Javanka’s respectability, their carefully curated “we’re not that complicit” branding. They are radioactive now, with one of Ivanka’s former friends telling VF: “People used to fear Trump’s wrath. Now they fear his affiliation. The stink of his family is nearly impossible to get off. How do you associate yourself with the worst, most toxic people in U.S. history?”

Go to Hell! I hope you ends up in prison for a long time, you piece of s&$#.

    • Bibi says:

the most hated family in America…. The most hated family in the world… wow…
Ivanka taking the time to respond to karlie’s tweet is just out of whack. This is how disconnect this women/family is. Poor kids, they are goign to have a miserable childhood and those teenage years are going to be hell. They are the only ones lucky to be in lockdown.

      • (TheOG) Jan90067 says:

And Melanoma cried about being “victimized” today as well. Mrs. “I Don’t Care, Do You?” was doing a PHOTOSHOOT about RUGS while the her husband was inciting sedition and the Capitol was under siege.

I hope they ALL get jailed, if not for this, then for their corporate/financial crimes. And if there is justice, Melanoma should join her husband for a time since she signed joint tax returns!

      • Seraphina says:

@OG, the statement was all about her. How she is a victim and when she named the deceased from the event, the lady who was shot breaking into the capitol’s hallway is the first name she chose to honor. What a joke. The signs are all around us – they will not change and they see nothing wrong with their behavior so why would they have to. TRASH

  2. Eleonora says:

I hope she and her husband will go to jail

  3. TIFFANY says:

Eh. Karlie was always playing both sides and has been called out on it before.

I prefer Toni tagging Karlie and giving a receipt on IG. That was great.

    • Angel says:

Right ? she seems nice but she is an hypocrite. Her and her husband just bought a house next to Ivanka and Jared in Florida. Nothing prevent her and her husband from cutting ties with Jared and Ivanka. I know they are siblings, but I would most definitely cut ties with my siblings if they were trying to establish a dictatorship in a democracy.

      • cheche says:

Yes. Let’s not forget where Kushner money comes from. Even without the Trump connection, her husband is dirty. He’s a college educated white male, he could have a decent career in many different fields but chooses to remain a slumlord. Hmm…

      • sunny says:

This. I don’t think she is a bad person but she is complicit and willing to go along to get along. Yes, she has campaigned for the dems and supported social causes but she continues to associate with her known racists, hateful corrupt family members.

I think it must be particularly hurtful to Karlie’s close friends who come from marginalized groups such as Jourdan Dunn(who is black and Karlie is godmother to Dunn’s son). Just yikes.

Also Jared and Ivanka are trash. I hope they go to prison which is unlikely but I hope they are iced out socially for the rest of their lives and reminded of their crimes wherever they go.

    • Elizabeth says:

Agreed. She deliberately married a Trump in-law. (The Kushners aren’t very nice people either. Look at the dad. Look at the sister using their presidential connections to sell shit in China.) And as for her “maximum contributions,” it’s a negligible fraction of her wealth. Karlie is not some innocent naive girl and she’s not a progressive activist either.

  4. Chill says:

I just had it out with a family member on Facebook over their subvert racism and Maga views. I told her that I was drawing a line in the sand. I cannot be complicit in any way any more. I will confront and argue and if they don’t like it, too bad. I stand shoulder to shoulder with my family members who are not lily white, but POC and LGBTQ. If they want me in their lives then get on board.

  5. Midge says:

    Get used to it, Ivanka.

    • BearcatLawyer says:

Yeah, the jig is up. No one with half a brain will want to associate with Jarvanka now. Their exile from polite society could not have happened to two more deserving people!

      • Seraphina says:

News sources have been awfully quiet on these two since 01/06. And I for one am quite happy knowing they will not be excepted in “polite” society. Let them go hang out with their “patriots”.

      • notasugarhere says:

They will flee the US to a non-extradition country and continue to run the Rethuglican table from there.

  6. Seraphina says:

She is a traitor and an enabler. She is far more dangerous than her father. Don Jr is like his father – loud mouth and quick to move. She is more calculated. I hope what happened Wednesday stains their name forever, socially and politically.
She should be upset at what her “patriots” did to the capitol and upset that five people died. But having no moral or ethical compass will do that to you.

  7. GRUEY says:

As my one of my favorite writers of our era, Sarah Kendzior, says, the Trump term has seen a lot of reporting on scandal instead of reporting on crime. Ivanka is facing SERIOUS legal liability for grift and inciting these assholes last week. This is the function of this story and why her camp put it out there. People say don’t get distracted by this stuff because it works.

    • Golly Gee says:

Exactly. Look at the shiny, bouncing ball over here kids! Nothing to see over there.

    • Skyblue says:

Sarah Kendzior is amazing! I recommend everyone give her podcast Gaslit Nation a listen. She and Andrea Chalupa are spot on. They have been reporting since day one that what happened at the Capitol has been Trumps intent all along. The Trumps are a mafia crime family. So insane!

    • Nana says:

Whatever the beef is, that people have with KK’s two-sidesness, she brought the issue into sharp focus pretty well in the page six article… “Ivanka why are you focusing on this petty issue when you and your whole family should be doing everything to talk these insurrectionists down and tell them the truth: daddy really did lose the election.”

  8. Suze says:

That Vanity Fair article warms the cockles of my heart. Apparently a moving van was spotted outside Javankas home in DC, and I cannot wait for them to get the hell out of my city.

    • Mac says:

Goodbye and good riddance. Is it me, or do Ivanka’s clothes always look like they are made of polyester?

      • Suze says:

Which is ironic, considering how much she certainly spends on clothes.

      • NotSoSocialButterfly says:

Meh. You could put Chanel on her and it would look like trash, because that’s what she is. Cheap, tacky, knock off, hideous and unctuous- as ugly inside as out.

  9. Xantha says:

In terms of Ivanka-Karlie feud, it is so easy to believe Karlie here given the Trumps’ established history of lying about every damn thing. Not to mention I think people overestimate how much power Karlie has over her in laws. The Kushners reportedly didn’t like her and banned her from family gatherings prior to marrying Josh so how much does she actually spend with them?

    • GRUEY says:

She has Zero and I mean ZERO power with the kushners. The dad had been in bed with the Russian and Israeli mafia for decades (believe me as a Jew I hate to say this, but Russian mafiosos have been gaming the right to return system for a long time and, like the US, Israel has not done what’s necessary to uproot these people). Have you read what Kushner Sr was prosecuted for?? It’s a deeply personal mob style vendetta against his BIL. And his son is still carrying out the grudge by ousting Christie. So yeah, no, she ain’t changing shit. Honestly she was stupid or brave to marry into that family. Fame definitely does not protect you when you are dealing with criminals at that level.

      • Xantha says:

Oh I am very much aware of what Charles Kushner did to get himself in prison. I guess she must love Josh to deal with her snobby, criminal in laws. When this is all said and done, the Kushners and Trumps names aren’t going to get anyone any kind of clout. She and Josh should just completely sever ties at this point.

      • Ponchorella says:

Looks like Kushner did Christie a favor at the end of the day.

      • Nana says:

Does trump’s pardon now cancel out Kushner senior’s crimes, or were they state crimes?

    • Honora says:

Sounds like quite a messed up family dynamic, I guess she really likes Josh. He’s not the only rich guy she’s met I’m sure

    • schmootc says:

Yeah, I give the benefit of the doubt to people who have NOT proven to be lying liars who lie.

  10. Mignionette says:

“Ivanka understands Karlie’s views perfectly. They’ve had many political discussions contrary to what she and her team would have you believe. K”

^^ This appears to be trademark Trump family behavior i.e. to minimize things they don’t want to hear that shame them or place them in a negative light, along with the obvious lying.

  11. Snazzy says:

Ivanka was hoping to be next in line in a political dynasty and now sees that it may not be possible (only time will tell – remember the Reichstag Fire…). She definitely planted this story as a way to get back in with NY society. Hopefully NY society doesn’t let her back in , though who knows. I mean only money talks for those people and they stole enough from taxpayers to be able to pay the yacht club membership for many years to come…

    • Nana says:

I’m picturing the penultimate scene in the (US version) of Dangerous Liasons, when Glenn Close, dressed to the nines as the Marquise Isabelle de Merteuil, fanning herself, enters her private box at the opera.
The whole room becomes silent; one person boos and that sparks off the whole room – the whole theatre audience is booing and hissing at at Marquise de Merteuil… The horror and shame on her face as she nearly trips over when backing out of the box. Wiping off her makeup later on at home, the self-loathing is very clear.
That’s how I like to think Jared and Ivanka’s first NY/DC social event, post inauguration/post covid will go. It’s ok to dream.
Also – we used to have an addon for an old, much hated conservative prime minister in Australia, Tony Abbott. It was called Stop Tony Meow 🙂 For every single photo that came up of him in your browser, it turned the pic of Abbott into cute kittens. Wish we could find an addon like that for I & JK, so we don’t have to look at their images for one second longer than necessary.

  12. Merricat says:

No one of standing will give the Kushners the time of day. Lol. They’ll have to lower their social expectations. “Dear, don’t forget that on Sunday, we’re having dinner with the horned man and that fellow who invested his entire life savings in a MAGA wardrobe.”

    • Esmom says:

Lol, exactly. I mean, Ivana did call them American Patriots in the tweet she then scrambled to delete.

I don’t think even Betsy DeVos or Elaine Chao will be taking their calls. Not that they ever did.

  13. Esmom says:

“Instead of, say, spending her time trying to convince her father to resign, Ivanka is actively seeking to squabble with Karlie Kloss.”

This. Just like Junior is more outraged at his dad’s de-platforming than than the violence he helped unleash at the Capitol.

The fact that Ivanka used page 6 to try to get in some of her “accomplishments” is truly pathetic. Every day, practically ever hour, brings some abhorrent new tidbit about this sick, sick family.

  14. Rapunzel says:

Vankie baby was hoping for a future in politics, and the chance to be the first female president. She sees that going down the drain. Jail looms. After this mess, nobody will have any second thoughts about prosecution.

Instead of worrying about Karlie, Vankie baby should be more concerned about Stripe cutting off their campaign fund raising ability and the PGA taking away their lucrative PGA championship deal.

  15. Josie Bean says:

I am sure when someone explained to Ivanka that the domestic terrorist attack at the Capital last Wednesday was extremely dangerous and, no, those domestic terrorists are NOT “American Patriots”, it finally dawned on her that from here on in the Trump brand and the Trump name will likely forever be toxic.

  16. LightPurple says:

Nearly 400,000 Americans are dead from Covid19, thanks to Nagini, and her contractual sperm donor Tom Riddle, advising Trump to divert monies from the pandemic preparedness units to his Wall of Hatred and her never-ending, lavish, illegal , tax-payer funded personal vacations and business trips. back in 2018. When the virus hit, she and her husband advised letting it kill off the blue states and hoarding PPE while Karlie’s husband sought to profit with Tom Riddle in a testing scheme. Nagini has stolen millions from the American people, all while ending programs that help us and slapping her name and face over some programs that do that were started decades ago by FDR, LBJ, Nixon, Carter, Reagan & Bush I. Government cheese is now Nagini’s Box program with a significant increase in overhead to cover her photo ops and fancy boxes with her name on them. Two Capitol Police officers are dead today, thanks to the attack she launched on the Capitol while dancing to “Gloria” with Daddy. Every horrible thing Trump has done in the past four years was done with her full support, if not on her advise, accompanied by dog whistles so loud sled dogs in the Yukon can hear them.. A Muslim ban? Contrast news videos of crying women in hijab stuck in airports with Nagini posing in a silver evening gown with a mirror behind her showing her husband groping her ass. Kids in cages? Well, it’s Sunday morning in America with Nagini posing with her toddler in perfectly mismatched off-white printed sleep wear, carefully tousled hair on her and the supposedly just awakened toddler who looks like he just got out of the tub. Nagini played a huge part in this ongoing coup attempt and spend more of her time lining up her legal defense team instead of trying to clean up her image by having public spats about how hurt she is by her sister-in-law. Ivanka Trump is responsible for the deaths of thousands of Americans, be it by disease or violence. She needs to shut her whiny, treasonous, evil trap and sit herself on the floor. No seats for Trump trash.

    • Coco says:

Someone is quoted at the end of the Vanity Fair article saying that other rich people believe Jared’s plan to further enrich himself is “to buy up all the distressed assets created by the pandemic he created, like a f***ing oligarch.” I thought that was really telling.
Ivanka is chin-implant deep into it, too.

    • Prof Trelawney says:

LP, I think you and I are both in MA, and when the federal government tried to block our access to PPEs and ventilators, that’s when this really started to feel like civil war, and I say that as someone who lived through a civil war abroad. I’ve been so surprised at the lack of coverage and analysis of this. An ER MD friend was closer to it all at the time and was shocked and devastated. Just one inkling of what this admin is capable of doing… And as someone above said, this isn’t scandal, it’s crime… Also why Mueller’s total failure to follow the money was absurd.

      • SamC says:

It started long before COVID, when the immigration crackdown was underway and feds were threatening to pull funding from states that didn’t comply with their directives. I was at a breakfast where Charlie Baker and Marty Walsh spoke, both noted that it felt like Washington (Trump) was trying to create state dissent. Interestingly too, both discussed the financial impact and noted Massachusetts sends far more money to DC in taxes, etc. than is received back in federal grants and funding (and go figure, Kentucky receives something like 30 billion more back than they pay). Of course, someone in the audience asked why they don’t then simply stop paying, esp in light of MA fiscal shortages, but both avoided a direct answer. COVID further amplified it.

      • LightPurple says:

It was horrific. Baker repeatedly tried to bring attention to how Trump had started a bidding war between the states and the federal government for PPE, driving up prices, and how very few states could outbid the federal government. And even when a state did manage to purchase supplies, the federal government would swoop in and confiscate it and not reimburse the state. Baker lost three orders, worth millions each that we MA residents paid for, confiscated in warehouses and loading docks. That’s when he turned to Robert Kraft. He knew that the media would pay attention to THAT airplane going on a rescue mission to China. He knew that people across the country would pay attention to the media coverage of THAT well-known, red, white and blue plane traveling to China, being loaded up with PPE and ventilators and flying back, and the whole world would see if Trump dared to confiscate it. What the world didn’t see when Baker greeted that plane at Logan was that Baker had called up the Massachusetts National Guard and surrounded that airport with soldiers and a large State police contingent, both on land and in the water (a cousin works for the State Police marine division) ready to protect that shipment from any attempt to seize it by Trump.

    • ican'tanymore says:

Let’s not forget carrying a Bible in her purse across the street for his insane photo op while casually strolling through people being knocked out of the way like giant slalom course ski gates with rubber bullets, smoke and tear gas and cries of surprise and fear all around them. Of all moments, that made me the angriest. Com.Pli.Cit.

      • LightPurple says:

I’m still convinced that she was the one who gave the orders for that crowd to be attacked. Her father is just her puppet at this point.

      • trashaddict says:

Made me angry too. My parents were married at that church! Thanks for another stain on my memory, Javanka!

  17. Nev says:

    sit down karlie.

  18. MM2 says:

I was thinking that it wasn’t too late for Karlie & she should hire Wasser asap to divorce the Kushner family…. but isn’t she pregnant? I would be beside myself if I realized that I was tying my child to the Kushner & Trump family for life. Run, girl, run.

    • (TheOG) Jan90067 says:

Yes, she IS pregnant. WHY anyone would want to carry this cursed name/gene pool into the next generation is beyond me. I feel infinite sorry for the minor Trump kids, who will bear the stain from no fault of their own.

      • sunny says:

I mean, her husband also seems to share her views( supporting Biden, Clinton, going to the women’s march) and you can be different from your family. It is pretty gross that people are writing those things about her child.

I do think if she and Josh are serious about disagreeing with his trash family the smart move would be to cut them out of their lives.

      • kif says:

@sunny. karlie’s husband profitted from the pandemic because of jared’s machinations. they are not innocent bystanders. they are complicit and should be cancelled along with the rest of the trump-kushners. burn them all! except the true innocents of course – the children

  19. Mina_Esq says:

I’m loving this fallout. All the Trump children and their spouses were so drunk on power. I think they sincerely thought that it would never end. And then the big mean technology companies cut the main source of their power and control over America.

  20. Trillion says:

Last year at a fundraiser Ivanka proclaimed she got her moral compass from her father. Yeah, Ivanka, we see that.

  21. Emilia says:

“I’ve tried” did you Karlie, did you really? Did you try when your husband’s company was accepting contracts from the trump admin to produce ppe at the start of the pandemic? Did you try when you JUST bought a house next to Ivanka and Jared on billionaire island? I’m so sick of her publicly cosplaying as a good little liberal while privately she and her husband personally profit from their connections to the White House.

  22. molly says:

I still can’t believe HER DAD just GAVE her, totally and completely unqualified, one of the highest jobs in government. Like, just gave it to her! Bring your daughter to work day! Blows my mind that that was okay.

  23. Jess says:

I feel the way you do about Ivanka, Kaiser. She is just loathsome.

  24. Zaya says:

Ivanka is horrible, that’s not up for debate. But karlie doesn’t get a gold medal for her “I’ve tried.”

Did you read Tavi’s response to Karlie? That was great.

  25. Lanie says:

    Are the Kushners still slumlords?

    Yes.

    Fuck both Karlie and Ivanka.

  26. Coco says:

I don’t know very much about Kloss, but, even if she’s a bad person, I don’t think it’s her responsibility to make Ivanka Trump stop being a monster.

  27. Darla says:

It’s kind of hilarious that Taylor has that song “this is me trying” on Folklore, isn’t it though?

She’s having Kushner’s baby. The deal is sealed. I don’t know what to make of any of this isht, but she gets no pass from me. Ivanka is the real problem though, and her evil husband. Don’t even get me started, I totally relate to Kaiser worrying about flipping out and getting banned. Actually, I am currently serving a 7 day twitter ban, my first ever, because of something I tweeted on Insurrection day.

    • Noely says:

That song is about mental health issues and has nothing to do with Karlie or with politics though.
It’s about people with mental health issues often try so hard to live a normal life that it exhausts them but their internal struggles are overlooked. She explained the background of the song in her Folklore studio sessions on Disney+.

  28. Temperance says:

Terrorism Barbie can be ‘upset’ until her empty mind and hearth-three-sizes-too-small bursts.

  29. Bess says:

Given the amount of legal problem Mango Mussolini and his crime family are facing, I don’t understand how any of the adults expect to be able to live on US soil.

I’ve always though Complicit Barbie and Kusher will fly off to Israel the second Biden is inaugurated and their legal protection ends. They would be able to get into politics there or at the very least be power brokers. Very few countries like Trump and Israel is one of them.

  30. caroline says:

Karlie is full of it. So easy to claim whatever you want on social media. Oh my gosh you guys, I totally tried to talk to Ivanka about it. I told them that if they don’t stop, I’m not coming to the next family party…maybe. And I might not sign up for the family scuba trip when we go to the Carribean, although I will stay with them in the same villa, but I’ll be wearing a Biden bra. Puh-lease.

  31. KrystinaJ says:

All of you judging Karlie Kloss for not being able to change Ivanka better make sure you don’t live in a glass house.
I’ve seen SO MANY OF YOU say you’ve given up on changing your Trump-supporting family members’ minds. Yet here you are, screaming about her. If YOU can’t do it, WHY tf would you think she could? Hypocrites.

  32. dara says:

I’m judging Karlie, because she puts herself out there to be judged. It’s hypocritical to associate with and marry into a family knowing full well what they are and then do little social media photo ops of lame protest. And no, her husband’s hands are not clean- look it up. I certainly don’t expect her to change anyone, but she chose her crowd. At least Ivanja can say she was born into it.
