So, Princess Eugenie & Jack Brooksbank really did move back to Frogmore?

Eugenie Jack wedding Windsor

On Friday, Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank left Portland Hospital, about three full days after Eugenie gave birth to Baby Boy Brooksbank. Since Portland Hospital is a private hospital and since Eugenie isn’t married to a future king, there was no photocall outside of the hospital or anything like that. Some photographers did get some snaps though:

Very cute. I hope Jack is a safe driver! Precious cargo! Anyway, for the past two months or so, we’ve been absorbed in the very strange drama of where Eugenie and Jack are living, and why they seemingly moved out of Frogmore Cottage shortly after they moved in. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex chose to lend Frogmore to E&J in what was seen as a final nail in the coffin for Meghan and Harry returning to the UK this year. Considering how much Harry and Meghan “paid” back for Frogmore, it’s theirs to sublet to whomever they want. So why did E&J move out? And why are Eugenie and Jack… back at Frogmore?

Princess Eugenie’s newborn son is following in his second cousin Archie’s tiny footsteps as he’s settled into the Windsor home of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Harry and Meghan lent Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, the use of Frogmore Cottage as they begin their new lives as parents.

The family of three left London’s Portland Hospital, where Eugenie gave birth on Tuesday, on Friday. Archie was also born at the same hospital in May 2019.

Frogmore Cottage, which Harry and Meghan renovated from five separate staff quarters into their 10-bedroom home, is the perfect place for Eugenie and Jack to spend their first days as a family of three. The property is close to Royal Lodge, where Eugenie’s mom, Sarah Ferguson, and dad, Prince Andrew, live, which means the first-time grandparents can be on hand to help when COVID-19 restrictions allow. And it’s a short walk from Eugenie’s grandparents, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, at Windsor Castle.

[From People]

The timeline is this: in November, we learned that Eugenie and Jack had already moved into Frogmore, which caused a lot of consternation and weird press. By mid-December, we learned that E&J had moved out of Frogmore and they were living at the Royal Lodge, with Prince Andrew and Fergie. And yet, there has been some indication for weeks now that E&J moved back into Frogmore. Outlets like Hello Mag kept referencing the idea that Frogmore really is E&J’s new (borrowed) home. So what happened behind-the-scenes? It’s still a big royal mystery. I still believe that either the Queen or Prince William tried to throw their weight around and ban E&J from Frogmore but something else must have happened too. I wonder.

Maybe they moved all their stuff in a few months ago and we’re getting it all set up while staying with Fergie and Andrew and this “moving in and out” is just a misunderstanding.

    • Startup Spouse says:

Maybe it was being painted and they moved out bc she was preggo and didn’t want to live with the fumes?

    • Anne Call says:

Just announced-Harry and Meaghan expecting their second child. Good for them.

      • Mrs.Krabapple says:

Happy for them. This would also explain the leaks to the tabloids last week that Kate is planning to have another baby. (Kate must have also know that her story would publish around around the time Eugenie gave birth). What a toxic family — or at a minimum, what a toxic future-future queen and king.

      • Amy Too says:

I’m so happy for them too! I love the photo they shared. Does she have her hair done differently or is it just the shadow and light from the sun coming through the trees?

Also so obvious now why the duchess of Cambridge is all over the place with her “we’re trying for a baby TOO!!! Don’t forget about MEEEEE!!! We also MIGHT have a baby!” It is so obvious and so gross. The family must have just found out a week or so ago. That’s when all the Kate wants to get pregnant articles came out. They are absolutely shameless. Anyone who wants to have a fourth baby wouldn’t put those plans on hold during the pandemic, that’s the best time to have your pregnancy: you’re home, everything is virtual and remote, you can be left in peace.

      • Queen of the Universe says:

Gosh, when you say Kate wouldn’t put 4th baby plans on hold during the pandemic, it’s almost like you don’t realize how busy our Top CEO is. Zoom calls. Clapping. Train trips. It leaves so little time to bring the hubby home from the rosebush to do his duty.

  2. Amy Bee says:

May be someone pitched a fit about the Brookbanks living at Frogmore and tried to get them out but was unsuccessful. Someone definitely whispered to the Sun that they had moved out, probably thinking that his tantrum was going to make the Queen cave to his demands as always. But for once she didn’t.

    • Kaiser says:

ding ding ding I think this is completely possible

    • GraceB says:

I really think in all honesty that they moved in with the parents while she was expecting due to the impending lockdown because there was lots of talk about that coming at the time when they moved out. I know of several people who have either moved in with the parents or had the parents move in with them around the same time.

I suspect the story about them moving back out was just to create drama and make it look like somehow the Sussex’s home wasn’t good enough but in reality, staying with the in-laws was always supposed to be temporary.

      • BabsORIG says:

This doesn’t explain the leaks to the Sun though. These leaks to the tabloids come from respective palaces. First it was a leak that the Brooksbanks had indeed moved into FC (which was true), a leak which forced the Sussexes to issue a confirmation statement. Then another leak weeks later (also true) that they had moved out and into RL. The only plausible explanation is the one above (see Amy Bee); there definitely is a SOMEONE leaking to the tabloids, only THIS time, they overestimated their own weight/influence/authority and bragged too quickly too soon.

      • truthSF says:

I think it’s a combination of Amy Bee’s theory with an added reasoning that once the the news of E & G’s move came out, the tabloid freaked out that M&H were gone for good! 😳 One of them contact their Palace Leaker…aka little willy, and he decided to throw his weight around to appease his (weknowwhereallthebodiesareburiedifyounolongerhaveaccesstomeghanandharry) friends!😏

      • JT says:

Yeah if they planned on moving into RL because of the lockdown, why not move there first? Why move into FC and then leave while heavily pregnant?

    • Where'sMyTiara says:

I could see Billy of the Tantrums doing this, followed by Uncle Pedo having “A Quiet Word with Mummy”, and Messy Bessy turning round to tell Workshy Wanderdick to go mind his own parterre for a change.

Does Messy Bessy of House Petty understand yet, does she fully grok how much damage to herself and the Firm she’s done, by pushing out Harry and Meghan? I still don’t think she does; I don’t think any of the courtiers do either, b/c they’ve not been made to feel consequences of it yet.

    • February-Pisces says:

From Willie’s perspective it’s all about optics. He doesn’t give af where eugenie lives, but harry and eugenie striking a deal behind his back ruins the illusion he’s trying to create. The fact that harry and Meghan would let eugenie live there for rent free is an act of kindness. Also it shows that he and Meghan still have close relationships with some members of the family, ruining the narrative that harry has ‘turned his back on his family’ and that everyone hates him and Meghan. Also I think the York sisters have and will always be #teamharry. They tolerate Willie only because of his position.

By leaking to the Sun that they ‘moved out’ even if the hadn’t, it’s willies way of undoing the story. Also it puts pressure on the broooksbanks to actually move out, which they haven’t.

  3. Elizabeth Phillips says:

I wonder if there were some complications with the pregnancy and she wanted to be with the family. Three days in the hospital after childbirth is a bit unusual these days.

    • Roserose says:

Not after a complicated c-section, unfortunately. Source: my uterus.

      • Green Desert says:

Or an uncomplicated one – it’s standard to keep mom and baby in the hospital for 3 days, at least where I live but I think in many parts of the US. I had a standard non-emergency c-section.

      • TrixC says:

I had an emergency c section in the UK and the hospital wanted to send me home the next day. I had to plead to stay another night because I couldn’t walk and their policy was not to send you home with any painkillers. So 3 days isn’t normal here for regular folk, but I imagine in a private hospital like the Portland it is.

      • Green Desert says:

@ Trixc – Ugh, I’m sorry. There’s not much good about the US healthcare system compared to other “Western” nations but I guess that’s one thing we do right. I’m sure it depends on the state/city/hospital here though too.

      • minx says:

I got sent home a day and a half after giving birth, per my insurance. Granted, I had easy births, but it would have been nice to have the option.

      • Betsy says:

@TrixC – they bounce you the day after a c-section with no painkillers? I’m absolutely appalled. Granted, after my c-section, my baby was in the NICU so while I wanted to leave the hospital I stayed the whole four days so I was as close to my son as I could be, but… YIKES. I was in no fit state to leave the hospital one day out.

      • Vavavoom says:

I was also sent home a day and a half after giving birth to my preemie… and he was still in the hospital for 2 weeks with a feeding tube and in an incubator. I had to stay at a volunteer home for moms since the hospital was 1 1/2 hours from my home. It was hell and I was going to the home to get 2 hours sleep and then driving back to the hospital to try to feed every 3 hours. I’m in Canada and they send moms home too soon nowadays.

      • PrincessK says:

Most government hospitals in the U.K. give you one nigh in hospital if the birth is straightforward. Not enough. In the 1950s /60s you could expect to be in hospital for a week which is nice.

Eugenie was in a very expensive private hospital and could stay as long as she wanted the bill to be.

      • Bloemheks says:

@Green Desert in the US they only let you stay as long as your insurance covers, because America. Congratulations on having unusually good insurance. I had to go home the next day for my 2 uncomplicated births.

    • BabsORIG says:

It’s not unusual at all. And with the raging pandemic, privately paid hospital bills, a new FIRST time mom can make all the choices they want based on their needs as first time parents. Plus, let’s not conveniently ignore that there were leaks from one of the palaces that the Brooksbanks moved in an d then out of Frogmore cottage. Something DID indeed go down.

    • Chelle says:

I thought so too. However, in rethinking it, doesn’t she have rods and spins running up and down her spine? Perhaps that could be the source of the complications or the complexities. I don’t know. Just throwing it out there.

  4. (The OG) Jan90067 says:

I would think that legally, as H&M have “paid the lease in advance” as well as back-paid for the personal interior reno (seems they also paid for EXTERNAL & wiring, which SHOULD’VE been Crown expenses, as Cheap Ol’ Brenda NEVER upkeeps the properties as they should with the actual monies allotted through the SG), it is theirs to lease to whomever they want who meets the security requirements. After all, even KP property can be leased out at “fair market rates” to peasants who meet the standards.

OR…perhaps E&J moved major things in, wanted to make some minor tweaks that may’ve necessitated moving out for a bit, and now are settled back.

OR… H&M just told Ol’ Brenda, Chuckie, and Willileaks to cut the shit out, they know where all the bodies are buried, and all it will take is a phone call to “certain ears”; H&M are *done* being pushed around.

Who knows! 😊. I want to know the baby’s name now!

    • dogmom says:

Your tweaks theory is what I think, Jan. Maybe they decided they wanted to paint a couple rooms or do a few minor renos, so they moved in with her parents while work was being done and their stuff was getting moved in/unpacked. I doubt if Will had thrown a huge tantrum and gotten them thrown out of Frogmore, suddenly they’d be back a few weeks/months later.

      • BabsORIG says:

I still agree with Amy Bee above thread, none of this explains the leaks to the Sun that they had SUDDENLY moved out and into RL.

      • JT says:

I don’t know about the major tweaks. FC is essentially a brand new home. It was recently renovated and only lived in for such a short amount of time. What work would need to be done? Meghan’s style is pretty neutral, so I doubt paint colors were too out there or something. And why move in and then move out if there needed to be retouching? Also if there was work to be done, who would pay for it? I doubt it would be E&J, and it for sure wouldn’t be anything from the SG. This whole thing is fishy.

      • dogmom says:

@JT Maybe Eugenie wanted purple walls like Kate. :p

      • JT says:

Lol. Purple rain, purple rain 🎶

    • notasugarhere says:

They could have moved to Frogmore, then temp stayed in London for a week or so in anticipation of the birth. Back to Frogmore after the birth with the intention of staying there for an extended period.

    • Queen of the Universe says:

Pardon my ignorance, but why would Will even care if Eug and Jack live at FC or not? Is there some hidden meaning to their being there? He doesn’t want H&M back so that can’t be it.

      • Gobo says:

The assumption has been that the BRF want it to sit there, empty and unused as a sort of petty waste of Sussex money. A public testimony to their wastefulness in the tabloid press. But that sort of falls apart if it is occupied.

      • PrincessK says:

It is evidence that Eugenie and Harry are tight. I don’t think William is very close to any of his cousins, although they probably have to be careful because he will call the shots one day.

  5. ABritGuest says:

Not sure Eugenie is happy being papped leaving the hospital? The Sussex team pulled some ninja moves to get Meghan home without pics as some photographers confirmed they had staked out various hospitals.

Hope they are settling in well with their baby wherever they are (and really who is updating media on where they are living🤨?)

    • (The OG) Jan90067 says:

That COULD be Fergie. To that woman, there is NO BAD publicity, if it gets her name out there!

    • Amy Bee says:

It would seem the paps were tipped off as to when she was leaving because that jesal guy was giving regular updates from outside the hospital the day she left.

    • Sofia says:

Paps were definitely tipped off. If the Sussexes could get away discreetly, I’m sure Eugenie and Jack could. Portland has discrete entrances and exits I believe so famous people can leave without being papped.

  6. Jenn says:

So we are still going with the 10 bedroom lie @People? American magazines should really stop hiring British royal reporters.

    • Over it says:

I thought it had 5 bedrooms? Am I wrong or is frogmore like hogwarts and makes magical rooms?

      • Steph says:

I said that when I first saw the piece online yesterday and down thread before reading the comments. I was pretty sure it’s a 5 bedroom house.

      • Jenn says:

Its 4 bedrooms and a nursery. They just lie on purpose.

    • SarahCS says:

I rolled my eyes at that point and figured it’s just another “Tyler Perry’s $$$ mansion/they can’t have nice things” gripe but I take it Frogmore isn’t actually that big anyway?

  7. Smices says:

They may have just moved in with Andrew and Fergie for the holidays.

  8. Sofia says:

She may have moved out for a bit to be with her parents and then moved back in so her, Jack and their baby could have a place of their own

    • SarahCS says:

If they’re following the official lockdown rules (ha) then you can hang out with the people you live with but not anyone else (two people from different households can exercise together outdoors but that’s it). So if they were living together while she was pregnant it would allow them to all be together and have Christmas etc. If they now live separately then they should (!) be joining all the other new parents who are managing without friends and family in order to limit transmission of covid.

      • Sofia says:

I know the rules. I do live in the UK after all. I was just thinking they could have moved out after the November lockdown (can’t remember the timeline) and spent Christmas with her parents and then moved out afterwards back to Frogmore.

Of course this is me assuming they followed the rules.

      • Lionel says:

Establishing themselves as a “household” with Andrew and Fergie in November also allows Fergie (and/or possibly some staff) to move in with then at Frogmore now to help out on the first few weeks. I never thought that someone tried to kick them out, just figured that issues with her pregnancy required help (eg. bed rest) or they had advance knowledge of covid restrictions and were smart about planning for help after the birth.

      • Vera says:

you are also allowed a childcare ‘bubble’ with one other household. My friend is getting regular weekend childcare help from the grandparents so she can catch up with housework.

  9. Snuffles says:

Well, I’m glad someone is enjoying the cottage.

    • kelleybelle says:

Sure, great. But why everyone is so fascinated with where Eugenie and Jack are living is beyond me? Why the fixation?

      • HeyJude says:

Because it’s in any way connected to Harry and Meghan. And the tabloids have to be hysterical over Harry and Meghan.

Someone checking their hysteria is accountability for the toxic environment they’ve created.

  10. STRIPE says:

It’s possible that a William tantrum made them move but I tend to think Occams Razor may apply here: she was just wanting to be in the same house and her parents for the holidays and towards the end of her first pregnancy.

    • Wiglet Watcher says:

Any Occam’s razor application here would be not what a family does, but what the norm is that This family does. And they do play selfishly, misrepresenting details to tabloids.

I think it’s as simple as the BRF and the BM want desperately for frogmore to remain vacant. And j and e want privacy while they adore their newborn son. Frogmore is ideal for them.

    • Amy Too says:

It makes sense to me that they would get all set up in frogmore before moving in with her parents for the holidays. That way frogmore would be all ready for them to return to once baby was born. You don’t want to have to do a major move of all your stuff with a newborn, so why not get the post-pregnancy home set up first even if you planned on living with your parents for the holidays and until baby was born?

  11. Izzy says:

If they were ever pushed to move out, I’m guessing it was Prince Keenbridge who pitched a fit in the first place. But Eugenie is the daughter of Petty Betty’s favorite son, so all she had to do was go to Dad and ask him to ask his Mummy to intercede. Anyway, that’s one theory. Doesn’t matter as long as Eugenie and her family are happy living there.

    • February-Pisces says:

Yeah this is all William. I doubt the queen or Charles gives AF about where eugenie lives, especially if someone else is paying for it. If anything the queen would probably like having eugenie on the Windsor estate. But with eugenie and harry coming up with an arrangement privately, it ruins willies narrative that everyone in the family hates harry and they all love him best. That was why the Keens and the Wessexs did that lockdown breaking Xmas appearance together. If was his way of saying, ‘look at how much the rest of the family loves me’.

  12. Southern Fried says:

Ick and ewwww. So Sarah and Andrew will be in and out? It will have to fumigated before anyone else lives there. And who believes any York has better taste in home decor than Meghan? Wonder what pretentious dusty old paint colors and other tweaks they may have done. Yes, I’m petty and a little sore about Yorks living there.

    • Wiglet Watcher says:

York girls always had funky style. I would imagine they could enjoy modern art.
Kate appears to be the only younger royal that leans into the old, stuffy styles.

      • Nic919 says:

Kate just likes what she thinks will make her look aristo even if it’s in poor taste. Like that painting of the slave boy in her living room at KP. For someone with an art history degree she really is quite superficial in her taste in art.

  13. JRenee says:

Where did they live before November?

    • Sofia says:

Ivy Cottage which is in the grounds of Kensington Palace

      • KW says:

Maybe the news of KP not congratulating them on the arrival of the baby, all the history that’s been reported about the York sisters hating the Ivy Sisters aka Kate and Pippa, they left KP and Ivy Cottage with their f@ck you fingers out and headed to the nicest, newest and welcoming Frogmore. That’s what I’ve got. Who knows.

      • notasugarhere says:

Or they’re keeping Ivy Cottage as their London place (still paying rent), while living at Frogmore for a few months heading into summer. UK still in the midst of a pandemic, why not stay for free at your cousin’s country home when he offers it to you?

  14. Laura says:

I was thinking that immediately following a birth is when you really want to be with family, your mom hopefully.
It can be overwhelming, esp for a first time mama. Hormones crashing, no sleep, recovery etc.
That’s when she should have stayed with parents. But what am I thinking, Sarah could very well be at Frogmore and I’m sure there’s a nurse. #just like us.

  15. Over it says:

I think when they moved in wondering Willy got more incandescent with rage because NO one told him beforehand. Then he threw a fit and they had to move out , then Harry was like F that , I paid for that shit it’s mine to do with as I please for the foreseeable future so mind your own damm big headed business. And now they are back because Harry has balls and no longer gives a flying F what any of those petty assholes think anymore.

    • Celia456 says:

😂 at @over’s “mind your own damn big headed business.” Stealing it!

    • Harper says:

I think this is what went down including a call from Harry’s lawyers informing Eugenie and Jack that they were legally allowed to be in Frogmore and Prince Incandescent could stomp his feet and huff and puff but he had no legal leg to stand on in making them move out. And the Sussexes, fine people that they are, don’t tit for tat inform the press when Wee Willy Incandescent gets over-ruled, either, so we were left with the impression they were kicked out. Will is probably still mad that his threatening phone call was ignored by Eugenie so no congratulatory post from KP for her baby! That’ll show her!

  16. Yoyo says:

Harry is a stand up guy, it was always said he and Eugenie are very close, clubbing together and all the fun stuff.
Eugenie was the first Royal to meet Meghan, there are pictures of the of them trick or treating in Canada.
I think William was one of the last members of the family to meet her, wonder why? Harry’s excuse was they were always missing one another, but some how Charles was able to meet Meghan in Scotland.
By now you would think Fergie would’ve learn to live within her means, she always broke, hope her girls have a better handle on their spending.
Jack and Eugenie are both working, why can’t they afford a place of their own?

    • Steph says:

I have no idea how much money they have but their costs of living and the logistics would probably be a nightmare if they gushy live in royal property. They’d have to find a place for themselves that came with separate housing for their security. I think the royal properties are already built with the privacy and security issues in mind.

  17. Cecilia says:

This is just the tabs not being able to keep up with their lies.

  18. Other Renee says:

Maybe Jack had a dose of living with Fergie and Andrew and said, “Hella no!” for starting life as a family of three under the same roof with them. 🤷‍♀️

  19. AMM says:

Something is odd about all of this. Them leaving KP to live in Harry’s home, and none of the Cambridge social media accounts have acknowledged that there’s a new royal baby. Something is off between the Cambridge’s and Eugenie.

I don’t find the moving in, out and in that weird. With the lockdowns and holidays, I’m guessing they just moved their stuff into Frogmore and had staff getting everything set up and baby proofed while they went and stayed with her parents so they can be together over the holidays.

  20. Maliksmama says:

I’m wondering why no one has moved into the apartment next door to W&K. That huge apartment would be great for Beatrice or Eugenie.

    • Bren says:

Maybe no one wants to live next to William and Kate. I wouldn’t be surprised if family members try to keep their distance from W&K after what they put Harry and Meghan through.

    • Ginger says:

The York girls and Kate do not get along at all. Kate was known to be very mean to them during the dating years. I don’t think anyone wants to live near the Cambridge’s. They don’t seem well liked.

      • swirlmamad says:

@ginger, I hear this all the time and it’s just crazy to me. (I totally believe it.) How on earth did Kate ever get her head swelled so big that she thought she could mean girl bully members of the royal family that she wasn’t even officially a part of at that point. Nuts!

    • Nic919 says:

I suspect we will hear that it has been taken over by W and K.

      • notasugarhere says:

I agree, Nic919. W&K will take it over as additional living space or for more of their staff. We’ll hear something about how the space has been updated at the taxpayers expense, W&K never intended to use the space, but don’t want it to go to waste. H&M will of course be blamed for this somehow.

  21. Catherine says:

I think the fact that they had an arrangement with the Sussexes ( as confirmed by them ) was accurate. The rest was just speculation and drama. So I believed the Sun got the story from Fergie/Andrew that there was an arrangement. There is no question in my mind that they would sell Eugenie out to the tabloids. So the tabloids knew that the Brooksbank were using /going to be using the house. The rest of the details were speculation/embellishment. Which is why they have been so wrong about are they there or are they not. The tabloids really didn’t know any details. There are any number of reasons why they may have gone back and forth between staying in London and staying in Windsor. There have been no reports that they are giving up Ivy Cottage. So they may still stay there when they want/need to be in London. My conspiracy theory is that very few people knew that the Brooksbanks and the Sussexes had an arrangement so when the story was leaked it was obvious who the leaker was. Remember when the story first broke it was reported that BP didn’t know. They made a big deal about the fact that the Sussexes didn’t get permission to make such an arrangement. So since it was so obvious the leak had to have come from her parents Eugenie shut them down from leaking anything else. That’s why the tabloids haven’t been able to get accurate details.

    • Tasz says:

@Catherine – I agree the original leak probably came from the Fergie/Andrew camp. However, Prince H and Duchess M refuse to ride in the royal clown car. So maybe they were like, “Happy to have you stay at Frogmore but the clowns must go back to the carnival.”

I also think there are plenty of reasons why Eugenie may have been going back and forth from Royal Lodge to Frogmore. If that was indeed the case.

  22. Jumpingthesnark says:

Speculation: FFK had a tantrum to Betty and wanted the Brookbanks to move out. Pedo Andy then had a tantrum to Betty and wanted the Brooksbanks to stay at Frogmore ( which is close to him and Fergie at the Royal Lodge. He also wants is daughters close to Betty and they are v close there). Betty went with fave son,as she does. Also explains why no social media congrats from the Cambs.

  23. Murphy says:

He could be the best driver in Britain but everyone has white knuckles on the wheel that first ride home!!
Can’t wait to hear the name 🙂

  24. LeonsMomma says:

Kind off topic, but I really like them as a couple. Like I think they really love each other. That announcement of his title with Casaamigos might have been him — or her — trying to establish himself in the narrative of the birth of his child. I don’t think it’s been an issue before, but I can see him wanting to remind everyone that the child comes from two families and he is the father.

I feel sorry for Beatrice, because that seems more like an arrangement.

    • Dl says:

I agree. I think they truly love one another which is why they understand H and M. The other b heads do not understand the power of real love as they have not experienced it. Too much dysfunction

  25. Julia says:

Eh, this seems like an occasion where the never complain/never explain thing makes matters so much worse than it needs to be. Why not just say: Eugenie’s husband is trying to get as much stuff done before the baby is born as possible, but they don’t want her to be alone during the tail end of her pregnancy, so they’re going to spend a couple months with her family? And now that the baby is born, they’re all going home to bond as a family of three? Why allow so much drama to fester?

  26. Nic919 says:

I think they moved in with Andy and Fergie when the lockdown rules were getting more serious so they could be in the same household in her final days before delivery. That some courtier turned that into having to leave in the middle of the night seems more like an attempt at fresh news for the tabs to keep some pressure off the cambs. It was also around this time that the palace source went to the DM to provide information about the palace four.

  27. Janey says:

Meghan is preggo!!!!!!!!!!!! SO happy for them. Blessing for a safe and healthy and sane pregnancy.

    • Betsy says:

      Just saw it! So sweet!

    • Joolz says:

She got pregs pretty soon after the miscarriage by the looks of her bump in that pic! Congratulations to the Sussexes and I hope they are able to enjoy the experience this time around!

    • VS says:

Just saw the news as well……I think a lot of people suspected it after that appearance to celebrate Black History Month as well as the pap’s picture where Meg was wearing a huge coat while H was in T-shirt
I am so happy people didn’t speculate publicly and I am so happy for her……..wish her a very happy and relaxed pregnancy at home, safe & secure……

      • Nic919 says:

When the trial got adjourned back in November for personal reasons that the opposing counsel never objected to, I assumed she was pregnant. There are very few personal reasons that a judge would adjourn a trial for, but pregnancy and travel, especially during covid, would be one of them no questions asked. I am just surprised none of the reporters covering the trial and in court that day didn’t leak the information. I have to assume there was a publication ban on that information to keep the, quiet.

But seeing as it was mentioned then, of course the palace knew of this as well.

    • anotherlily says:

THIS is why she won’t be travelling to the UK in the summer. Not ‘snubbing the Queen’ as the DM was claiming. Lovely news!

    • HeyJude says:

I actually gasped in delight for them. Such wonderful news.

    • Sofia says:

      Massive congratulations to both!

    • windyriver says:

Makes you wonder about the US Weekly article 2 days ago, about how Kate has ‘convinced’ William to try for another child. Was it related to Eugenie giving birth, or to the news about Meghan? Omid just posted that a source confirms the RF had been told about H&M before today’s announcement, so it looks like the Cambridges probably knew when that article came out.

In any event, congratulations to the Sussex family. “Captive” Harry looks so happy in that picture!

      • Harper says:

I am doing a happy dance for H&M today but you are right about the US Weekly article being Won’t’s way of staying relevant. It’s been a great week for Meghan and Harry and Kate can’t deal!!!!!

      • Nic919 says:

They probably knew months ago when the trial got adjourned for personal reasons back in November.

    • Sayrah says:

Just saw! Congrats to them ❤️

    • alibeebee says:

I’m so happy for them! were about the same time along in pregnancy. she’s probably due maybe late July or mid August!! yay!!!

      • osito says:

I just saw the news! May they stay blessed, joyful, and unstressed for the duration of this pregnancy and beyond. And the same to you Alibeebee!

    • swirlmamad says:

I am so, SO thrilled to hear this news and for them. Can’t wait for the write-up tomorrow!!

  28. Steph says:

I thought Frogmore was 5 bedrooms?

Isn’t 3 full days a long hospital stay for a royal? Or is that normal since she isn’t birthing an heir?

I bring it up bc I thought she might be having a difficult pregnancy and that’s why she stayed with her parents at the end. Baby Brookbanks was big! She might have been there in November for the planning of the house but fully intended to stay with her parents until the delivery for support.

  29. Bibi says:

They have their own family now, no way they were gonna go back to Mom’s and Dad’s. With coronavirus, they probably felt best to stay with her parents and people she could trust until the baby arrived. They made sure the house is ready before they could get back. But there’s no way Jack, a grown man with a wife and a baby, plus the bad press associated with daddy andrew paedo would make him go back. they both are probably anxious to get some privacy back and live their precious moments between them.

    • Vera says:

exactly this. and they didnt respond to the Sun or correct it, because it’s a vile rag that the Sussex’s said they no longer engage with

  30. Jaded says:

Just read that Meghan and Harry are expecting!

    • minx says:

Yes, such happy news! She looks at least 5 months along, judging from the picture.

      • Wiglet Watcher says:

Very happy news! The think we all had that guess, but didn’t want to speculate out loud.
The recent story about Kate wanting a 4th child felt like confirmation that news would be coming out shortly.

    • Alexandria says:

Just found out! Wishing my Duchess a happy and safe pregnancy!!

  31. February-Pisces says:

    Meghan is pregnant, yay 🥳🥳🥳🥳

I’m so happy for them, and judging from the pic they released, they are bumping along nicely.

Also it got me thinking how this weekend Willie and Kate leaked they were ‘trying for a baby’. I wonder if they found out a few days earlier. But in typical Keenbridge style, they always announce they are planning to do something, before they do it, where as harry and Meghan don’t announce anything until it’s in the bag.

Congratulations to harry and Meghan xx

    • Vavavoom says:

      I bet you’re right! Sheesh.
So happy for them! I also had my only son after a miscarriage and was full of emotion. Harry looks so happy in the photo.

      • February-Pisces says:

Yes the same happened with my sister, 2 back-to-back miscarriages and she fell pregnant for a 3rd time 2months later. She now has a very happy 12 year old daughter who is wonderful.

    • windyriver says:

I wondered the same thing! Just posted above. Their property looks so beautiful, and love Harry’s bare feet! Wishing them the relaxed and happy pregnancy experience they weren’t able to have with Archie.

    • harla says:

I felt for a while now that Megs was pregnant but honestly didn’t expect an announcement until the baby was born!! I’m so happy for Meghan, Harry, Doria and big brother to be Archie!!

    • Dl says:

I was actually kinda hoping she would give birth then they would announce. Anyway bawling my eyes out with happiness. I adore this family

    • February-Pisces says:

I’m so happy for them. I’m guessing she’s probably had her 20 week scan and all is good. She looks more than half way. She probably wouldn’t be able to hide her bump for much longer.
I’m gonna take a stab in the dark and guess she’s due in may/june.

It said on the news that the family were told a couple of days before the announcement. So I’m guessing that the second Willie and keen heard, Kate called up the trash rags to tell them she was trying for baby no 4. What I find weird about them is that they always announce their pregnancies before the 12week mark too. I think they announced Charlotte at 9 weeks. I know kate is desperate to start maternity leave as soon as the egg has been fertilised, but literally anything could happen in the first few weeks. Thinking about it, it’s clear Kate hasn’t had a miscarriage before, because if she had, she would be much more cautious about announcing anything so soon.

Also the Keens didn’t congratulate Eugenie on her baby on twitter, but trolls are going on about how Meghan is upstaging her because she hasn’t announced her babies name yet. She literally living in meghans house for free, lol.

Anyway with Kate announcing she’s ‘trying to get pregnant’ is just going to get the ratchet rota on bump watch as they wait for any news. Well I don’t think they are going to care about no 4 anymore since Harry and meghans baby will hold their interest more.

  32. JennEricaMS says:

I just saw Omid Scobie’s post that exactly 37 years ago Princess Diana announced on Valentine’s Day that she was pregnant with Prince Harry! I’m going to be a bit selfish and say that I hope it’s a girl because I think their genes would make a gorgeous daughter but I’m overjoyed either way! I wish them all the love and happiness that they so clearly deserve!

    • UptownGirl says:

Saw that bit from Omid as well! That’s such a lovely reference to his birth to the announcement of their next child. The picture is absolutely gorgeous and I love how they are posed. I am so happy for them! I feel like they deserve so much happiness after what they have gone through, especially Meghan. The article mentioned that the picture was taken with an iPad by a close friend. I think the timing was purposely set for Valentine’s Day as for the reference of Harry’s mother. I wish them all of the happiness as they live their lives freely from hate and racism.
As for Eugenie and Jack, they do seem very much in love. Plus, living with her parents would sound reasonable for any new mother. And to them arrive at Frogmore having it set up to their liking was perfect as they start their new life as parents. I love that Harry is so close to his cousins. Harry takes his relationships with relatives very seriously s evident that his aunts were in attendance to his wedding to Meghan. Unlike PWT and Keen who only use people to their liking otherwise they are of no use to them. Keen is so desperate to stay relevant that she has to make certain that she upstages anyone, hence the trying for #4, which I think will never come to fruition!

  33. Vera says:

I don’t think they ever ‘moved out’. The Sun can say all sorts of crap, no one ever believes a word they write. Hello magazine always said in their articles that Eugenie and Jack is staying at Frogmore. They probably moved their stuff there before the birth, had everything unpacked and ready for themselves and also spent some time with her parents who live nearby. They didn’t correct the Sun because they don’t care about that rag.

  34. tolly says:

I swear, half of the people who are outraged on Eugenie’s behalf over the Sussex pregnancy are getting her mixed up with Beatrice. I’m glad the two couples seem close, and have a lot of happy news to share.

    • Lanie says:

And the other half billed Bea and Eugenie as the ugly stepsisters to Kate’s Cinderella/Myth of Pippa’s Ass.

      • UptownGirl says:

Yes, but Pippa’s ass is in a sling now with the news of what her husband and her BIL did with UK taxpayer funds!!

    • BABSORIG says:

I just don’t get why some people put so much pressure on these women. I wish people would stop policing and putting such expectations. Maybe Euge and Jack aren’t gonna announce their baby’s name for the next couple of months. I mean,
its their baby and they can do whatever they want whenever they want. So the entire world stops spinning till Euge announces baby’s name? And who said the world can’t deal with both announcements and be happy for BOTH families at the same time? Geesh.

    • Lex says:

Wasn’t it at Eugenie’s wedding she announced she was pregnant the first time?

      • lanne says:

Yep. She jumped up on the altar and announced her pregnancy for all to hear! No—the family already knew and some people congratulated her at the wedding.

  35. The Recluse says:

Perhaps they had had enough of Sarah and Andrew hovering over them 24-7?
We know that Sarah is rather manipulative and Andrew….well, we know what he is and how criminal that is.
