I think Adam Kinzinger is a d-bag, but holy crap, I am on his side in this narrow circumstance. He was one of the few Republicans to understand how dangerous Donald Trump was and is, and he voted to impeach. [Towleroad]

LAPD has always had deeply embedded racists. No surprise there. I’m just surprised that someone on the inside actually had the sense to share it outside of the force. Those people are usually pushed out or fired.

Adam Kinzinger is DEFINITELY a d-bag. And he’s doing all this to set himself up for a Presidential run in 2024. But I do give him a TINY grain of credit for doing the unpopular but right thing.

It boggles my mind that these MAGAts STILL think dump was god sent and god was on his side through everything he did. They obviously still haven’t read any of what Jesus preached. I firmly believe most of these people never crack open the Bible on their own. They just read what and believe the interpretation that their pastor preaches and if their pastor wants them to think a certain way he will make it so and twist it into their agenda.
Like finding out that the previous admin never had a plan to get vaccines into people, not a surprise to us here but how can you still be all in on this person who so obviously doesn’t give a flying rats @$$ about you or anyone else in the country. SO CHRISTIAN, SAD.

I feel like at any other time in history I would not give any credit to someone for being against a violent insurrection of our government, because that should be assumed. But I’m honestly at the point where I’m terrified of what’s going to come next, so I will heap praises on anyone for being anti-coup, even if I hate everything else about them and/or their views.

I was hopeful after Biden won the election (it was limited hope because over 70 million did vote for Trump), but that Jan. 6 didn’t even put a dent into the Republican cult’s slavish devotion to Trump has knocked any hope out of me. I don’t think any of us know what happens the next time a democrat wins an election and republicans are in charge of certifying the results.

That Moschino coat looks beautiful until you zoom in. Love those names. We are expecting and looking for original strong boy names but Shiloh is a family friend, so that name is out.

  4. Kapland says:

Their names are Luna and Shiloh but some reporters are getting confused calling them both girls- Shiloh is a boy, named after the Hebrew definition.

    • Chaine says:

I guess it’s because I live in the South and surrounded by white people with their delusions of the confederacy, but whenever I see someone naming their kid Shiloh I assume they are referencing the Civil War battle. It’s like naming your band Lady Antebellum or your neighborhood “Smith Plantation.”

    • fluffy_bunny says:

It’s probably because everyone associates Shiloh with the Jolie-Pitts and assumes it’s a girls name but it was actually Angie’s brother’s childhood nickname.

    • NorthernGirl_20 says:

I always think of the song by Neil Diamond.

  5. Miranda says:

Oh dear God, no! Kitzinger disappointed the likes of Tucker Carlson and Rush Limbaugh!? How awful! I think he has to drink some hemlock now, doesn’t he? Or at least wear a hairshirt and whip himself through the halls of Congress or something.

Seriously, can you imagine giving a shit about the approval of that pantheon of pricks they listed? Jesus.

  6. Elizabeth says:

Kinzinger’s relatives’ comments are legitimately self-parody. “God is disappointed in you” — mmm hm, it’s amazing how god conveniently feels exactly the same as you.

  7. tsk says:

Ugh. Don’t come for me, but I love Moschino. If I wasn’t broke I’d buy all my clothes from them.
