Kensington Palace released a photo of Prince George for his eighth birthday

george eight bday

Well, here we go. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge released a new photo of Prince George for his eighth birthday, which is today. There was some consternation inside Kensington Palace, apparently, about whether to even release a photo this year. Something about people making “negative comments” about George’s appearance at the Euro football matches, except most people sussed out that William was using “George is being bullied online” as an excuse because Bill was the one being ripped to shreds on social media. In any case, the royal rota has Will and Kate by the short hairs so of course a photo got released. The photo was taken by his mother.

George is a cutie but he doesn’t look that different from his seventh-birthday portraits! I guess there’s just a span of a few years where kids aren’t aging that much and then BAM, puberty starts. George still has time before all of that happens though. I also appreciate that George’s mother didn’t dress him up like Little Lord Fauntleroy. He’s just a cute kid in a striped polo. On a Land Rover. Sidenote: Land Rover is an Official Sponsor of The British Royal Family. The Cambridges just had to get in the Land Rover branding so they’ll get their check! Next we’ll see Charlotte sipping Gatorade while Louis plays with Beats By Dre headphones.

Incidentally, the Cambridges still have not confirmed or announced their plans for George’s schooling for the next school year. We still don’t know if George will be going to boarding school in the fall, and we still don’t know if Kate and William are going to “move” to Berkshire to be closer to George if he does go to boarding school. It’s all very curious!

    He looks just like William!

    • cassandra says:

Yeah that smile is ALL William. Those Windsor genes are strong.

      • tempest prognosticator says:

I agree, he has William’s smile, but I think William got his smile from Diana. William looks more like Diana than he does the Windsors.

      • Snuffles says:

William USED to look exactly like Diana, then those Windsor genes slowly took over like a curse.

      • SarahLee says:

I barely remember what William’s genuine smile looks like.

      • (TheOG) Jan90067 says:

I was hit immediately with “James”, Kate’s brother. I think he looks way more Middleton. Let’s hope it stays that way. Those Windsor genes… Let’s hope he doesn’t get hit with THAT ugly-stick. *shudder*

I think, personally, the only thing he has from TOBB right now is his and Diana’s long legs.

(Although there are *some* pics where he favors Louie Anderson, but that’s another thread 😊 )

    • My3cents says:

He is. Let’s hope he gets his personality from his uncle.

    • terra says:

You really think so? I see a LOT of Michael Middleton in that face.

      • Seaflower says:

        +1

      • notasugarhere says:

        +2

      • GRUEY says:

George looks like he’s on his way to being a tall handsome guy. He’s got the genes for it (though there’s some dicey dna in there for sure). I personally think James Middleton is quite handsome, despite his issues. Hopefully George will get his looks and personality from various uncles…

      • Jaded says:

I do too – he’s way more Middleton than Windsor.

      • minx says:

I see much more of Kate’s side.

      • BooyahB!tches says:

+3! And we haven’t even STARTED on Louis, who is like Michael Middleton’s mini-me! Seriously, check him out: NOTHING of his parents in him, just Grandad M!

I love this post, especially this got me laughing: “…Charlotte sipping Gatorade while Louis plays with Beats By Dre headphones.” I’m waitin’….

Also, Gary Janetti’s Instagram is fake, it’s actually George :))

    • MerlinsMom1018 says:

That’s what I thought when I first saw this yesterday!!! looking more and more like his Dad.
I still see lots of Middleton in him as well, but Dad’s genes are starting to push through
He’s a cute little guy, looks happy

    • Sof says:

I know Kaiser hates this kind of debate, but yes, I first thought of William, it’s the eyes for me. Thank God he didn’t inherit his mother crazy smile, can you imagine a kid similing like that?

    • Korra says:

I might be the lone wolf here, but I see Diana’s brother/William’s uncle, Charles Spencer, when I look at George.

  2. Becks1 says:

He looks cute, but yeah, kids don’t typically change that much from 7 to 8 in my experience, and factor in that we have seen him a couple of times in the past week and this picture isn’t as….interesting? exciting?….as they sometimes are. Maybe that’s part of the point?

  3. The Amazon says:

Came here to say the exact same thing !!!!
He really looks like his Dad!

  4. Ariel says:

I say again- what kind of monsters send an eight year old to boarding school?
How bad is your parenting if you think – yes, I’ll pay a school to do it, so tired of this kid, in the house right long years. Get him out of here already!
Yea, I know it’s a rich person tradition.
I believe even Cher did it to Greg allmand’s kid- at SEVEN!
    It is weird and wrong.
Yep, child free 49yo, over here, sitting in judgment.

    • Jezz says:

My heart would have broken in two if I had to spend a single night away from my boy when he was eight! I just do not understand boarding school.

    • ChattyCath says:

      It’s PROTOCOL!

    • KoolaidDrinkergal says:

I know! Who would send their child away for school? I homeschool, I can’t even imagine sending my kid away all day. Once you get used to having your kid at home all day you realize how amazing it is. Why have a kid if you aren’t going to raise him?

      • PrincessK says:

I don’t think it is so common now. But weekly boarding is. Sometimes it can be better for children who have two working parents who have little time, and it does instil independence and ability to cope with situations. I went to boarding school, it was tough but l made life long friends and my children went to boarding school and made life long friends, and my children want to send their kids to boarding school if they can afford it.

    • Steph says:

I’m not against boarding school but not at 8. Wait till HS (I think it’s called college that side of the pond?).
How did this become the norm for the BRF? And why?

      • liz says:

Boarding school for British royal children isn’t traditional. They were historically all educated at home by private tutors. Charles was the first to attend school at all.

They started sending them to boarding school because that was what Philip wanted.

      • BayTampaBay says:

Actually, the first “modern” male royal to attend a “modern” school was Prince Henry, Duke of Gloucester. In September 1913, Prince Henry started at Eton College when he was 13 years old. Prior to his attendance at Eton, Henry spent three years at St Peter’s Court day school.

    • Chica says:

Kate is the perfectQueen and very royal! Child must go to boarding school. But the Keens made a mess and they really need to work and be seen as working royals, they had 10 years to royal and family. Besides Keens do not have access to Sussex calendar so they need to work because never know when their news cycle will get trampled.

    • Piratewench says:

I agree, I could never send my children away like that. My son is 7 and I consider all of our
time together so precious. Getting up in the morning, playing in the afternoon, listening to him read to me in the evening (what an amazing switch, he’s reading to me now!). I do send him to school now but had a year of covid homsechool and while I loved having my kids home, I’ll be sending them to school in the fall because I’m pretty introverted and I feel I struggle to offer them all-day engagement. Any time away is my time to recharge and then I’m ready to give them my full attention again. But weeks and weeks apart?! Never. They only have one childhood. And they are still so vulnerable at 8, they still need their parents and their home so much.

    • Ann says:

British Toffs generally sent their kids to boarding school young, though I don’t know if it is still prevalent. Even more appalling, even as late as the mid 20th century Brits living abroad would sometimes send their young kids to England for school and not see them for YEARS.

I went to boarding school at 15 (in the US), the same one my older brother had started attending at 16. We were only a few hours by train or car from home and we saw our parents every couple of months, on average. We both went for academic reasons.

Going as a teenager is a completely different thing. It was my decision, and though it was a difficult transition in some ways, I didn’t spend my time calling home (by pay phone in those days) or writing letters to my folks. But looking back, I honestly think that even 15 is too young to be living away from home, at least without a lot of adult supervision and attention, which we didn’t really have. Rules, but not attention.

My sister’s husband is from Delhi, upper class and educated in English. He went to boarding school in Rajasthan when he was only 5. I can’t imagine!

      • liz says:

My mother-in-law was a diplomat’s child in India in the 1950s. She was sent to boarding school in Uttarakhand at 7 years old (she’s still friends with some of those kids, 70 years later). Her father was back at the State Department in DC when she was a teenager, so she went to a local high school in Virginia. My father-in-law went to boarding school for high school. They refused to send my husband or his sister to boarding school – they stayed home until college.

    • bettyrose says:

I thought the reason that aristos sent their kids to boarding school was that they mostly lived in the country with minimal options for high end schooling. I don’t get the point of sending your kid to boarding school if you live in London.

      • BayTampaBay says:

@bettyrose – you are very correct in you thinking.

Aristos also sent their children to boarding school so they would be educated and “socialized” with other aristos children.

      • Anne Call says:

No, rich people in NYC and affluent suburbs have been sending their kids to boarding school forever. It’s just what they did for generations and you could meet the “right” kind of people there. I met a bunch of east coast guys in college at UC Santa Barbara who had all gone to boarding school back east and were all big druggies (it was in the 70’s). Wondering if all that is still going on. I knew a few rich kids in calif that went to boarding school but much less common.

      • bettyrose says:

Anne – That’s true, but actually in Manhattan, where the private schools are legendary, I think a lot of the kids who go to boarding school had specific reasons such as not getting into a top day school or if they’re not rich and got a scholarship to a boarding school. Even then, we’re talking high school not age 8.

We are very different here in California. Not only is boarding school not very common, but plenty of wealthy children actually go to public school (if they live in places like Santa Monica or Marin County) and definitely to our public universities rather than private colleges.

    • Sandy says:

I’ve a 4 year old and a second one on the way, and while I could strangle the 4 year old at times I’d NEVER make her go to a boarding school. That is effed up imo.

      • bettyrose says:

        @Sandy –
I was about to make a joke about how a four year old should start being pushed towards independence, but then I pictured a five year old bawling on the first day of school as parents slowly leave the classroom, and I couldn’t even joke about sending a young child to boarding school.

  5. atorontogal says:

So the other day it’s…..”they might not release a picture of George this year”..to releasing a picture of George this year. WTAF goes on with the British media? I read the Daily Fail for laughs but sometimes sprain my brain from all the head shaking that inevitably ensues.

    • PEARL GREY says:

I highly doubt there was ever any real question about whether to release a birthday photo for George this year. The press just wanted to create drama around his football match appearances for clicks, to make William and Kate look like “responsible, protective parents” for considering scraping the photo after people finally started to notice that they have been steadily parading their children around left and right and to imply that Archie isn’t the only royal baby that gets harsh comments online so it couldn’t possibly be racism if George gets it too. Of course the British press know all too well that the Cambridges wouldn’t dare withhold pictures now because they owe them access in exchange for protection and favourable coverage and that includes serving the kids up on a platter and leaking like a busted pipe. Gone are the days when William and Kate could afford to demand their children’s privacy and normal upbringing. The U-turn has been drastic.

      • h-barista says:

“Gone are the days when William and Kate could afford to demand their children’s privacy and normal upbringing.”

        Which day was that?

      • L84Tea says:

@h-barista, the days when William wasn’t cheating on Kate yet. The first few years of marriage, W&K definitely did not trot George out right and left. Months would pass before we’d see a photo of him. But those days are gone because, yeah, the BM are holding Willie’s affairs over him in exchange for shots of the kiddos.

      • PEARL GREY says:

        @H-BARISTA

William and Kate (William especially) were openly making their desire for their children to have normal childhoods known, and regularly pleaded with and warned the press and photographers with statements, letters and threats of lawsuits if they breached their children’s privacy. This went on between 2013-early 2018, after which they suddenly did a 180 and decided they didn’t mind their children being made child stars of the royal family after all. They’ve gone from limiting their children’s exposure to mostly timed photo releases only (and a couple of overseas visits), to then Kate’s Cuties calendars, bringing them to football games and engagements and being hugged by strangers at the Christmas walk.

      • Wiglet Watcher says:

        L84tea
William was definitely cheating from dating to marriage. They just had so much goodwill and no competition that they dictated their demands to the press.

Remember the famous private meeting some RR leaked o twitter? They would grant Kid photos to them in exchange for good press. Meanwhile the Cambridge’s were suing Or threatened to any photog for stalking and harassment. So from there on only Kate owned the copyrights and credits to her kids photos.

But now that the kids are older and they’re not leverage.

  6. Jezz says:

Would be funny if that photo was from last year.

    • BabsORIG says:

That’s exactly what I came here to say. I believe the pics to have been taken on the same day last year but George told to change outfits 😉😉. Thats my theory and I’m sticking to it.

      • Vavavoom says:

It does look almost like the same day, but you can tell by his teeth that it’s a year apart. 🙂 😉

    • Mac says:

It’s a new photo. The Range Rover is clearly a tribute to Prince Philip. I bet Edward is ticked he didn’t think of a family portrait with his father’s favorite car.

  7. Louise177 says:

I don’t understand why this is such a big deal. He’s been seen several times the last couple of weeks.

    • Chrissy (The Original) says:

Well, he is the heir to the heir to the heir and so, they think every birthday is a milestone. Just wait until he gets his first pimple, the RF will make sure it’s breaking news around the world./s

  8. Lizzie says:

He is a cute kid and you can tell he is laughing not just smiling for the camera. Looking like his dad.

  9. Merricat says:

As if there were really any doubt that they would post a photo. Lol.

  10. Amy Bee says:

The blurb KP gave to the royal rota with the photo was that George sitting on a Land Rover Defender was a nod to Philip. Anyway, I think their initial refusal to give birthday pictures to the media was justified. They wanted to protect his privacy but I think posting annual pictures is overexposure. And it shows their agreement to provide pictures was done from a position of weakness not strength. This is what the media wants not the Cambridges. If they had any power in their relationship with press they would have been able to have some say in when they would provide photos. A better balance would have been every 5 years or milestones in his life instead of every year. I’ll add that George and Charlotte’s appearance at Christmas 2019 was demanded by the press because Harry and Meghan were not there.

    • The Duchess says:

This is how people are going to get real tired of the Cambridge’s shtick. The public are already tired of the overexposure and that showed with George’s appearance at the Euro matches. In terms of the initial refusal, that was definitely a power play that flopped on behalf of the Cambs. The invisible contract yanked their chains and they soon shut up and provided the goods. The press will always win and the fact that they have lots of dirt hanging over the Cambs head is what kills W&K daily. What a life.

    • Chica says:

The other Europeans royals do this or something similar. We get pics of Spanish infantas during Easter and summer vacation, Dutch and Swedes too. Rest of the year, the kids are left alone and unbothered.

    • notasugarhere says:

Protecting his privacy would be keeping him away from places where he can be publicly photographed, like the footie match and Houghton Horse Trials. I don’t see how releasing a pic taken by his mother at some unknown time impacts his privacy. Or at least, how it impacts his privacy *more* than trotting him out for the paparazzi when his parents need good PR.

    • Ann says:

I don’t really think posting one picture a year is that much exposure? It’s just a picture, it’s for a birthday. He doesn’t have to talk or answer questions or perform, just smile. They would probably be taking the picture anyway. Most parents do.

      YMMV.

  11. Sofia says:

Happy Birthday to George! Normally I’m “oh look how big they’ve become” but yeah there’s not much difference between a 7 and a 8 year old and we’ve seen him a lot too.

    • Lightpurple says:

The differences in kids that age tend to be in the mouth. How many teeth are missing? How many baby teeth still show? How many adult teeth are fully or partially in? That’s where the aging shows.

I do like that George is giving a full, natural smile and not being told by a parent to hide missing or uneven teeth. Ivanka was photoshopping perfect teeth into pictures of her daughter ages 6-9.

  12. Harper says:

Very cute kid and pic. The Fail said his posing on the Land Rover was a tribute to Prince Philip so good to know they are helping the Keens keep that Land Rover Royal sponsorship for the next year.

    • Sure says:

A tribute to Prince Philip and maybe also a reminder to Prince Edward that he won’t be getting the DOE title.

    • Nic919 says:

The photo is fine but dragging in the Range Rover as a reference to Philip just seems pathetic.
But Kate will get money from this copyrighted photo and she’s going to monetize things as much as she always has done with these things.

      • Saucy&Sassy says:

Nic919, that just made me wonder if Duchess KeenMcButtons ever got paid for the numerous stories she leaked about Meghan.

      • Nic919 says:

Carole likely gets paid for it so there is no direct link.

  13. PinkBerry says:

Sorry, I don’t care for the Cambridge kids. I know they will be like their parents one day.

    • Jamie says:

How can you say that about a kid? Do you know them personally? They did not choose the life they were born into. Don’t hold them accountable for the actions of their parents. Jeez…

  14. Roo says:

He’s a cute kid and he looks happy in the photo.

  15. Scandi says:

    Lovely little lad.

  16. DuchessL says:

George is such a cute boy. Hope he has a great personality like his uncle.

  17. Maria says:

Adorable kid. William and Kate don’t deserve him.

  18. HeatherC says:

    Hahahahahahahahaha

Well they sure folded like a cheap card table and whipped out of a photo of their oldest for the BM.

Maybe Charles is tugging on the leash a little bit and Kate needs to copyright this photo to buy more buttons?

  19. Linda says:

    Happy birthday George.

  20. Susan says:

My daughter was born a month after George and I was showing her and my ten year old this pic and they both said he looks older than 8. Maybe my kids are younger looking than most but we all agreed he looks 10 or 11. I suspect he’s had to mature quicker than my kids. My son has never worn a suit (LOL) and certainly hasn’t learned BRF manners. And hopefully not BRF crazy either. Ha.

    • Piratewench says:

The extremely fair skin of the British isles ages very quickly and it’s just fragile and delicate. Especially around the eyes. But it’s also lovely to see the lines that come from smiling, in my view anyway.

      • Piratewench says:

Just adding, my comment was originally in response to someone saying something negative about how he’s aging. That comment was deleted and probably for the best. There’s nothing wrong with this little boy whatsoever.

      • Jules says:

@ piratewench quite. He looks perfectly normal and perfectly happy

      • Jules says:

@ piratewench British people are an almighty mix of genes, They are not all fair skinned by a long way

      • Piratewench says:

@Jules True! Some in my family can even get a nice tan!

    • Lucy says:

Maybe he’s tall? My nephew is 8 but is wearing size 14 in boys clothes (he’s 100 pounds of muscle). He looks much older than 8, but it’s entirely about his size and how muscled up he is already.

  21. Digital Unicorn says:

    Cute kid and happy birthday.

So much for the stories from last week where it was all about projecting George’s privacy – someone yanked their chain to get a photo.

Also, let’s face it no one is interested in either the Cambridges or their children much – much burn their asses to know this. Now if this was a photo of either Archie, Lili or both then wow, the press would go crazy.

    • Linda says:

      @Digital Unicorn
Well at least you care enough about the Cambridge kids to do a research to prove that no one is interested in them.

  22. Catherine says:

There was never a real chance they weren’t going to release a picture. They are in too deep with the tabloids and as usual the pictures were available online on all the tabloid websites before they posted on IG. Which ensures they get the bump from the initial online traffic. I think the reason why he doesn’t look so different than last year is because he was so overexposed at the football matches and he was dressed in such an adult manner. This more relaxed photo with his curls loose instead of combed hair gives the impression of a younger child. Also, it was reported the photo was taken earlier this month but I suspect it was probably taken during half term which which was at the beginning of June. So because he attended the football matches we had already seen a more grown up looking George. The fact that they had the Prince Philip Land Rover connection means they’ve had this planned for awhile. Clearly, soon after Philip died the BRF started planning engagements/events they could use the Philip connection. Which also lets you know they weren’t going to miss the opportunity to put the photo out. They tried to use the George was trolled narrative to distract from the criticism that William was getting for his hypocrisy. It got no traction except among some stans. But no way was the carnival going to support a narrative that could lead them to having less access. I also think the “threat” not to release a photo was because the carnival gave George too much attention for William’s taste. IMO. He wanted the focus to be on him having his Dad moment not so much on George. When he attended the semi final alone. The chatter was about George’s absence not his presence. William wants to use his kids as props but he certainly doesn’t want to be overshadowed by them.

  23. Gina says:

Honestly, I was a bit shocked while I looked at this photo. My first reaction was that he looks just like William, sadly. It’s the teeth and the smile. BTW, I don’t think he is genuinely smiling. He is posing. He smiles like William when he knows he need to “smile”. Just opens the mouth and shows the teeth (I’m speaking about FFK not FFFK here)
He is losing his childish “roundness” and cuteness, but this OK. He enters the phase when kids are rarely looking “cute”.
I just wish Kate asked professional to photograph George.
It’s my impression from this photo. Apart from that I just wish this kid happy birthday and good luck. He’ll need it.

    • Isabella says:

The Middleton men retain their hair, right? So perhaps George will be a handsome Will. We can hope. God knows the family could use some glamour.

    • flowerpot says:

What a terrible comment. He sadly looks like his dad?

    • Jaded says:

He looks like an adorable, naturally smiling kid and radiates cuteness. I don’t know why you would say such negative things about a little kid.

    • Susan says:

      Way harsh, Tai.

  24. Harla says:

What a great product placement ad for Land Rover! I wonder what new model the Cambridge’s got in exchange?

    • Royalwatcher says:

Right? Where are all the concern-trolling cries of “merching” and how real royals don’t act like this, blah blah blah.

  25. Meghan says:

I’d like to say that this morning I saw a couple comments I was gonna go off about and now they appear to be gone so thank you to whoever took care of that!

I did feel like having him sitting on the Range Rover was a bit odd. My kid’s yearly birthday pictures are him playing on his playset in the backyard or digging in the dirt. Should I pose him atop my Ford this year?!

George looks cute. My son will be 5 on the 1st and sometimes he still looks like a toddler and other times he looks like a 7 or 8 year old, its the weirdest thing.

  26. Dee says:

It would be nice if the photo was more about George and less about his great grandfather, a royal sponsorship and making money for the Cambridges.

  27. Jules says:

I doubt very much that he will go to boarding school before he is 13

  28. Julia K says:

Cute little guy. Hoping that his parents raise him away from politics and protocol and let him just enjoy being a child. Childhood is a journey not a race.

  29. Sophie says:

    He’s so so adorable!

  30. ABritGuest says:

Cute! Hope George had a fun birthday.

Knew Angela Levin was talking out her ass & if anything comments on George being trolled is because press are probably trying to pull same mess where they acted like Meghan & Kate received equivalent SM trolling but this time suggesting all royal kids face awful trolling not just Lili & Archie.

This pic didn’t make loads of front pages- even the Fail didn’t have it. Guess we’ve seen George quite a lot recently.

  31. MangoAngelesque says:

If Kate AND William are going to move to be closer to George’s boarding school, or if Kate OR William is going to move…?

Because wouldn’t that be an opportunity?

“The children need Catherine to be close at hand, but my future-future-kinging must be handled elsewhere at othertimes, mmhmm…”

  32. Green Desert says:

George is a cutie and looks like a happy kid. I feel sad for him, his future being set as it is and the toxic structure he’ll have to navigate. Hopefully things change for the better for him.

  33. L4frimaire says:

It’s a nice picture, even with the Landrover sponcon. Why would anyone want to send their child off to boarding school away from his family at such a young age? I can understand for high school but an 8 yo? That’s a weird tradition that makes no sense to me.

  34. NotSoSimpleTaylor says:

George seems like a really sweet boy. I just hope he’s insulated from whatever is going on with his parents. I’m no psychic but I just get the feeling there will be a lot of rebellion in his future. I hope they don’t break him the way they broke William and tried to break Harry.

NSSTaylor, I wouldn’t be surprised if he is rebellious. He not only has the issues with his parents marriage, and W&K may be telling him conflicting things, but he also has the influence of Ma Mids. He’s supposed to learn about being King, too. I wonder who will teaching him that? This kid is in an almost impossible position. The only real positive in his life I suspect is his Nanny.

Despite what the press says and despite all the William and Kate haters, I love seeing pictures of all their kids no matter how often they are released. The pictures are cute to me.

  36. Nivz says:

Sweet boy. Be happy and healthy. What an adorable baby George was.

Ima stop there because I don’t want to discuss his parents on George’s thread, or I’ll be a concern troll.

Looks like a happy, average 8 year old. Any idea why Lainey calls him “Big G”? He is not big for his age and was average birth weight – certainly not a 10 pounder!

  38. Grant says:

I actually think he looks a lot like his Mom — that big smile!

  39. Tyrant Destroyed says:

He will be a very tall man. Nice photo I like to see genuine smiles.

  40. Keen Kate says:

Love the rare brown eyes and blond hair combination.

    Happy birthday, Prince George!

  41. TheOriginalMia says:

Happy Birthday, George! Hope he had a wonderful day.

I was struck by how he looks like William when he smiles.

As for boarding school, why? He’s still a baby. Let him stay with his friends at Battersea. There’s plenty of time to ingrain the aristocratic way into his psyche.

  42. The Recluse says:

And that was perhaps how he should have been dressed when he went to the game with his parents or perhaps the dark solid shirt with a light jacket over it, instead of as a mini me of William.

  43. Demi says:

So Camilla Tominey aka Camel Toe wrote an article about Prince George for the Telegraph.. I find it oddly suspicious that she has been quiet about H&M lately.. some squaddies on Twitter speculated that she might be threatened with a legal lawsuit letter. Do you guys find it odd that she has been quiet?

  44. SusanRagain says:

He looks like his Grandpa Michael to me.

No way would I ever consider sending an 8 year old to boarding school.
Over my dead body. I would openly tell William to Fight.Me.
They would sell some tickets to see Kate kick the stuffing outta Wills on the front lawn of BP. lol

Prince Phillip shipped Charles off to the boarding school he chose, and it was widely reported that Charles hated it and was miserable there.

Will these royals never learn from past mistakes?
Best of Luck to the little royals, I do not want their lives.

  45. AnonyCat says:

I think this is one of the better birthday photos because he is just being a genuine, fun kid! I worry a lot about how him and his siblings will turn out with the set of parents he has and Ma Middleton doesn’t help. But hey, let’s hope for the best
