Jesus, how f-cking gorgeous is Jeremy Renner? I love this kid. He’s not a kid, actually. He’s much older than me. He’s 39 years old, but he’s got that boyish thing going on, and he’s also got that naughty sparkle in his eye. Sigh… he’s my new Gerard Butler. My favorite imaginary boyfriend. He’s been getting pap’d like crazy ever since he got his Oscar nomination for The Hurt Locker, so it’s pretty much every other day that I get to stare at photos of my boyfriend. He’s a pretty snazzy dresser too. And he loves hanging out with his male buddies at LA hot spots. And you know what that means… the gay rumors are coming! He should take them as a compliment. As soon as people start calling you “gay” you’ve arrived.
Anyway, there are a couple of little pieces of news about Jeremy. Apparently, Jeremy has been vocal about his desire to play Kurt Cobain in a potential biopic about Nirvana, and the casting rumors are growing. Nothing seems to be solid, but it wouldn’t be the worst casting choice, actually. Jeremy has a lovely voice, and he’s quite musical, as evidenced by his recent appearance on The View, where he performed a little song he wrote at the piano. Just to let you know, this killed my attraction for him temporarily, and it will likely reinforce whatever gay rumors there are about him:
See? It’s not that he’s a bad singer or anything, he just doesn’t turn me on when he’s at the piano. Anyway, he’s not going to win the Oscar, but his career should have a significant boost with the nomination, and hopefully he’ll become a household name. Because I enjoy seeing photos of him, and I’d like to see him in more movies – just make him avoid the piano, please.

On a non-Jeremy Renner note, a Kurt Cobain biopic MUST be played by Joe Anderson, Max from Across the Universe. I really really hope that if they do this movie (which doesn’t sound like a great idea), they choose him. Looks and voice, he is uncanny.

He may be cute now, but he’s not going to age well. That nose is gonna take over his face, swallow that small chin, and those cheeks are gonna spread.
Crystallball is right: J Renner may not age well and besides, he used to smoke heavily and still drinks. But right now, all eyes and ears are on him.

Does no one remember him in 28 weeks later? Playing a similar character, a soldier, he was quite awesome. Glad he is getting recognized for his skills, haven’t seen the new film, looks a little too intense for me. I like my action in fantastic plots, like raging psychopaths suffering from a virus that wipes out all of England…
I’m happy with my 6’5″ man but I admit Renner’s performance makes me fantasize about him a little. Different strokes for different ladies, huh?

If you haven’t seen The Hurt Locker, absolutely, you should rent it. I didn’t see it in the theater because I though it would be depressing, but it’s a great thriller and a thoughtful character study.

Its unsettling how gorgeous Jeremy is in real life. He literally left me floating after meeting and talking to him.
I loved that he sang a cappella on Jimmy Fallon’s show. He sounded great and it made him sexier! Plus the fact that he is a bay area boy (I’m from SF) made it even better. He is a great actor and would love to work with him someday. Yes he is gorgeous, too!

Jeremy Renner is not from the bay area, he’s from Modesto, Ca. I’ve seen him on many occasions downtown when he comes home to visit his family.
He is uberhot, and you guys should check out his singing in the Jesse James movie he was in with Brad Pitt. The man can definitely sing! Also check out 12 and Holding and Neo Ned, he’s amazing in those two movies too.
And yeah, the gay rumors have arrived. The Enquirer says b/c he wants to be in a musical, took his mom to the Oscars, etc, that this means he’s gay. Oh,, and some acting coach surmising as such as well. Homeboy is not gay, that’s for damn sure.
He is fine as hell though, and a wonderfully talented actor. Can’t wait to see him in The Raven and The Town, plus anything else he does.
I don’t care what anyone says bout Jeremey, gay or not, he’s hot, and I be willing to bet that who he marries is the luckiest person on the planet!!!
