Oh, for Pete’s sake, she does look 22. It’s the truth. She’s a young woman who looks even younger than her age. If some people want to take that as (God forbid) a “compliment” to Zendaya and get angry, so be it. And, as they say, the truth is an absolute defense to slander and… compliments.

I’m in agreement with Constance. Why the need to look 22? Why focus on looking younger than our age? Why can’t women age? I’m so tired of the vicious comments on women like Madonna, Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock for trying to appear more youthful. And yet many of our Celebitchy commenters seem to equate youthful appearance with relevance. Sigh. I’m not angry about the original comment. I can celebrate Zendaya for possessing so many extraordinary gifts, talents and her strong advocacy that her youthful appearance doesn’t enter my mind. It’s 2026.

Death of a Pastor’s Wife is really rough to watch. I went into it thinking he drove her to suicide and came out of it thinking there was a distinct possibility that she bought the gun for protection and then was forced to make the call to 911 saying she was going to kill herself and wanted her family to know where her body was (oddly she didn’t exactly know where she was). If her intent wasn’t to kill herself and this is really a homicide, I think his new wife played a pretty big part in it

I understand she is taking more mature roles but I would’ve milked the looks. She can pass for a big middle schooler with makeup. Go the nick cannon route and play teen until they shame you. Nick played teens until he was like 35. He made some nice movies that still get air time.
