Personally, after having spent nearly 4 years going to school in the West Village, I’m rooting for the Olsens. In my experience the “character” of that neighborhood is so unbelievably rude and exclusionary that I’m glad someone’s pâ˘ssing them off.

I hate the Olsens so much. These girls have every chance to do so much good and they do stupid crap like make coffee table books! You have fame, money and an audience (after spending years making really successful straight-to-DVD movies for kids that all grew up right on track with them) – what do they do? DRUGS. Dress like hobo’s. They are useless and I pray for the day they wrong someone badly, get sued and lose all their money, because they don’t deserve it. Screw ’em!
I always laugh when someone talks about how the Olsens “built their own empire.” Please. They had grownup marketing/business minions do the building while they slapped their names and faces on the resulting merchandise. And after all the money they’ve made, both girls always seem so miserable and bored.
What are they doing, slipping through the mail slots at night and stealing their jelly doughnuts?
These girls used to be so sweet, seems it has gone to their heads and they think they are made of gold…to bad, with their money they can help many people who are not as fortunate.
The baristas snuck in whole milk instead of skim milk into their coffees? Maybe that’s why MK looks like she’s gained a little weight possibly? If so she must be over-caffeinated constantly like I am. I LOVE coffee! That neighborhood is totally uppity…I’d love to live there but I can only afford to live with four other people to a two bedroom in the West Vilage. It’s so over-priced!
The terms of the building’s lease must surely have some clauses preventing tenants from causing nuisance (eg the security vehicles engines running constantly): that’s standard and would apply to anyone who lives there. The Olsen Sticks are not above the law – the other residents should sue their skinny size-00 a**es.
You would figure they would want to blend in quietly with their neighbors. I mean isn’t that the point of NYC, the anonymity?
They may want to respect their neighbors wishes and tone it down, they are adults now, with an adults obligations, and responsibilities.

If the girls are that concerned about their safety, why are they living in New York? No one would think to look for them in Lincoln, Illinois, or McAlester, Oklahoma.
if a bodyguard tried to muscle me off my own steps so a celeb could walk down them i would kick and scream like a banshee. no way would they move my ass. why don’t the twins either blend or just live in LA where that kind of behavior is typical?
Who cares how cute they were as kids. Now they’re just freakish like Michael Jackson. Two little stickpin druggies with too much money and no more talent. Although could you really call Full House and supplying the voices for cartoons acting?
First of all, their rep denied they kicked anyone off the steps. Secondly, they NEED security. People would totally stalk them or worse, they’re two of the richest 20-something year olds in the world. Thirdly, MK is still acting, and not too bad, either! They have great style and are pursuing what they believe in and care about, what more can you ask of these girls? They’re still young! Chill out, everyone!
