That’s odd, considering she’s been in at least 4 low budget sci-fi / horror movies made this year. Methinks your story is FUBAR or a lame joke, Jaybird.

  2. Kaiser says:

I clicked on this hoping there would be enough material for a bad joke.

Now I just feel dirty. How is Tara even able to function in society?

  3. JayBird says:

vdantev: Pop Tarts said they spoke to her directly, and their website is part of an actual news organization. The entire quote is there and isn’t taken out of context, so there’s no reason to believe Tara didn’t mean what she said.

According to IMDB she has been in 3 movies which were released this year. Considering how long the process prior to a movie’s theater distribution takes, it’s likely they wrapped filming in 2007.

Or she is just very, very stupid.

Are you sure she’s talking about the writer’s strike? SAG and AFTRA were recently fighting about going on strike… but decided not to. Maybe she was thinking of that? I mean, I know Tara Reid is not the brightest crayon in the box, but I find it hard to believe that she’s THAT much of an idiot.

  5. Jinxy says:

Oh wow, she was never talented and I guess her manager is lying to her and she’s so disinterested in her own union she doesn’t know the truth, or care enough to find out. Embarrassing for her, but hilarious for the rest of us.

Good luck with that clothing line, coming from one of the worst dressed women in H’wood this should be hysterically funny to see. She should stick to her restaurant, which is well reviewed and call it a day.

  6. aleach says:

bahaha the thing about her clothing line being inspired by the secret is just toooo much!! i mean, i like to put thought into what im wearing, but…”green you might get lucky tonite!” what a dumb-dumb.

  7. JayBird says:

adleisia I thought of that too; however Pop Tarts clearly says the writer’s strike. Can’t know what she was thinking (probably nothing), so all we can do is go with the quote.

As far as I know the impending issues with SAG haven’t caused anyone not to work. And more importantly, they’re not striking, though they are talking about it. Tara Reid says she’ll go back to work when the strike is over, implying it’s begun.

Her comments on the economy are vague but reasonably accurate, and that’s caused a slowdown in movie production. I think at best she’s mixing up her topics.

Not very well. Note her butchered body, moronic reputation, and apparently empty head.

  9. kate says:

how is tara able to function in society? margaritas.

    Drug flashbacks are a bitch 😀 .

  11. WTF?!?! says:

There’s never been a real threat of late of the actors’ unions going on strike. When the split in talks happened, AFTRA settled separately, and SAG has said they will continue negotiations or may have to eventually strike, as they threaten every year. And that, too, was months ago. She must mean the writer’s strike.

  12. Jeanne says:

Was 32 her age that I read recently or the proof of her vodka?

  13. paris herpes says:

    This is b.s.!

  14. Candy says:

Aww sweetie! They have been filming non-stop for months now, just not with you honey! I’ll tell you what, stay out of the sun, go for a chemical peel and lay off the booze. You’ll get a job at Starbucks in no time.

  15. Randy says:

I think she is talking about the Actors Strike, which is about to happen..

She was never very pretty, but goddamn! What a dog!
