Do the youths even remember Cameron Diaz? Do they know that she used to be one of the biggest superstars in the world? Diaz was also one of the highest-paid women in Hollywood for years and years, and many believed that she would inherit Julia Roberts’ rom-com queen crown. Cameron was fun for gossip back in the day, especially her messy relationship with Justin Timberlake. But then Cameron got married to Benji Madden and became a mom. She quit Hollywood, focused on her family and friends and just stayed out of the public eye for years and years. She hadn’t made a movie since 2014’s Annie. But slowly, after a decade off, Cameron is coming back. She took a part in Back in Action, costarring her friend Jamie Foxx. Yesterday, they premiered Back in Action in Berlin. One thing Cameron needs to find again is her sense of style, because this baggy ensemble ain’t it.

Cameron gave a lot of credit to Jamie for convincing her to come back to acting, and he apparently asked her directly to take this role. I had no idea what this was about and I thought maybe Cameron took a smaller role to ease herself back into the groove, but no, she’s the co-lead. Netflix dropped a trailer a few days ago and it looks cute? Like Mr. & Mrs. Smith, only they have kids. Cameron looks like she hasn’t skipped a beat. Good for her, her comeback makes me happy.
