Angelina Jolie, almost 50, ‘appreciates getting older because she lost her mom young’

Two queens have their birthdays on the same day this week: on June 4th, Princess Lilibet turns 4 years old and Angelina Jolie turns 50 years old. Sometimes, I can’t believe how much life Angelina has fit into her years – an Oscar-winning actress, a global humanitarian, a director and producer, and the mother of six. Angelina felt like she had to live fast and live big because her mother Marcheline Bertrand got sick when Angelina was so young, and then Marcheline passed away at the age of 56. Angelina thinks about her mom a lot these days:

Angelina Jolie has a positive outlook as she nears turning 50. On June 4, the Maria actress, 49, will hit the special birthday milestone and, according to a source, it’s all the more meaningful due to her mother, Marcheline Bertrand, who died in 2007 at the age of 56 after a battle with ovarian cancer.

“[Jolie] appreciates getting older because she lost her mom young,” a source exclusively tells PEOPLE. “Her focus is returning to her foundation work as her family needs her less.”

Jolie shares six children — Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, Zahara, 20, Shiloh, 19, Knox, 16, and Vivienne, also 16 — with her ex-husband Brad Pitt. The actress founded the MJP Foundation in 2003, which is named for her Cambodian-born son and provides support to communities living in extreme poverty in Cambodia.

There have been rumors for a while that as soon as Angelina’s youngest, Knox and Vivienne, turn 18, that Angelina will move from LA and base herself in New York. I’m sure she’s itching to travel more as well. Knox and Viv turn 17 in July, so it looks like that New York/world-traveler era will have to wait another year or so. As for thinking about her mom… she was super-close to Marcheline, and she recently spoke about how it was hard for her to act after Marcheline’s passing. It feels like something has shifted in the past couple of years – like a weight has been lifted, and Angelina is remembering how much she enjoys acting? I hope that’s part of the plan for her 50s as well – more acting work!

Nobody from Angelina Jolie’s side is giving any interviews to anyone especially not to Pople Magazine, who are Brad Pitt’s PR mouthpieces.. also people’s magazine havd allowed their comments filled with hateful posts against Angelina and her deceased mother, shaming them as mother’s. It’s deplorable behaviour that people magazine are Pitt’s apologist enablers and shade Angelina at every opportunity..

I must admit Angelina Jolie’s blond hair is growing on me as much as I wanted her to return back to her brunette hair. Still beautiful lady inside and outside.

Marcheline’s passing impacted so much on Angelina especially when she needed her the most , especially as she’s been surrounded by snakes vipers who harmed her in many ways .
I hope the children spoil their mama soo much, give her hugs and kisses and tell her she’s a great mama..
