Joshua Jackson has been in New York this summer, filming Happy Hours with Katie Holmes. Holmes wrote the screenplay, she’s directing it and she cast her best-looking ex as her love interest. Kudos to her, honestly – I would also do the most to spend the summer with Joshua Jackson. For the past month, we’ve been inundated with paparazzi photos of Joshua and Katie filming in NYC. Then something different happened this week – Joshua was seen walking around with Simone Ashley. It looked very much like a summer date, although they were not holding hands.

People Mag and other sites bought the photos and ran the story as “Joshua and Simone were hanging out.” No one is saying “dating” yet, but People noted: “This is the first time Jackson and Ashley have ever been seen hanging out one-on-one publicly.” Joshua has been single, I think, since his romance with Lupita Nyong’o fizzled out. Simone broke up with Tino Klein in February, and she spoke about the split this spring. It sounded like she was enjoying her single-girl era. Sure, we ALL love our single-girl era until Joshua Jackson comes around. Joshua is 47, and Simone is 30. [Insert age gap discourse.] Honestly though, I would enjoy this. I always root for the Indian girls to date hotties though.

Except they weren’t alone, there was another person with them that had hey cropped out of the photos. He was also seen in NYC with Eric Dane’s ex-girlfriend. So maybe he’s with her too according to the rags. Simone looks gorgeous per usual and Joshua’s hair is just 🤌🏾

Its a pretty big age difference, not a crime but not something you want in your life forever. If I were Simone I’d enjoy the summer fling then give him the turkey dump.
