Amy Winehouse and Pete Doherty posted a strange video under Pete’s YouTube account. They’re handling day-old baby mice, which is a definite no-no because the mother may smell a strange scent on the mice and reject them. (Compared to making your cat smoke crack it’s a minor transgression.)
In a weird angle in a blue-lit room, they hold the mice up to the camera, the tiny creatures wriggling on their dirty fingernails and hands.
Amy then uses one of the newborn mice to tell her incarcerated husband, Blake, not to divorce her:
Winehouse then picks up one of the mice, holds it up to the camera, and says (via the mouse): “This one’s got a message for Blake… Blake, please don’t divorce mummy….. she loves you ever so.”
Her partner in ‘crime’, and some say possible lover, is then heard saying, “If you do divorce her, you’ll have me to deal with.”
“Yeah, he’s right, if you divorce me, you’ll have me to deal with. I’m only a day old, but I know what love is,” says Wino, still holding the mouse.

Amy and Pete had another video up yesterday under his account which has since been removed. The Sun saved it for prosperity though. Pete talks in a French accent while Amy manhandles a baby mouse. She holds up a kitten and makes it wave. Both Pete and Amy look incredibly messed up.

In another video posted under Pete’s account yesterday which is still available, Winehouse picks on a guitar while her 12 year-old goddaughter, Dione D, sings. Amy takes a swig from a liquor bottle before sitting down to strum:
These two just don’t care anymore, and Amy’s career is about to be on the same level as Pete’s soon.

Man, these two creep me out. Apart from that, what’s it gonna take to lock them up in a psych ward? Is cruelty to animals not some kind of crime? I hope some animal rights activists step in and make their voices heard.
Sheesh… they look like two children who are on drugs and have no control over either their mind or their body. I was never a fan of Winehouse or Doherty in the first place, but this is making me really loathe them. I have a hard time even feeling sorry for them.

Wow, that first one is seriously cracked out. It seems like something from a scary movie. Like, now that we’ve all seen it, we will die strange, terrifying deaths within the next 48 hours unless we forward the video on to ten of our least favorite friends.
I’ve never heard her speak, only sing, so the baby voice is really disconcerting compared to how she sings.
I think it’s so sad that she has such a wonderful voice and unique sound and she’s likely not going to be alive in 5 years. Amy! Go to rehab! And comb your hair! And put on a shirt! Try some pants while you’re at!

On all three vids, Winehouse feels no pain. I’m a bit more disturbed by the goddaughter being around intoxicated and half-clothed adults. Normally, Winehouse is a great guitar player, but on this video, she’s out of her head with goodness knows how many chemicals.

They’re both BEYOND disgusting. I don’t know how ANYONE could have ever touched either of them…except for themselves! I don’t think they’re just sick in their heads, but I think they REALLY are sick. If they don’t get help, they’ll both be gone soon.

Okay, maybe this is just me being a lame child of the 90s, but… did anyone else get Drusilla flashbacks watching that first video? You know your career is moving in the wrong direction when you remind people of a crazy vampire, only not as put together.
What is wrong with these two people? I don’t know about him, but I do know that Amy Winehouse is an extremely talented vocalist who has the career and voice that so many people dream about, but don’t have. What is wrong with her parents and record company? Eventhough she is an adult, they could intervene and do something to save this woman’s life. She has won every major music award this year for her album, yet she seems to have no idea what is going on around her. Gotta give the girl credit though, she doesn’t seem to be bothered by what the public thinks of her escapades, nor worried about the police locking her ass up in jail for drug abuse. Maybe she is just sooooo high, she has no idea what is going on. I know that my ex-boyfriend has gotten to that point, and it’s really a scary thing to watch in person, now I am watching a stranger do the same insane things in the media and it is really botheresome. I may be alone out there, but I feel really sorry for Amy, I just wish someone would help her. She will end up another Kurt Cobain, Hendrix, Morrison, Shannon Hoon and everyone will point fingers, but no one will accept the responsibility. 🙁

As to why her parents haven’t stepped in, they have. Over and over and over. It doesn’t work on her. Read up and catch up on the story.
I am up to speed on her situation, but I know that if I was spiraling out of control,( which at one time in my life, I did)my parents would not stop intervening until they had my life saved. I am not someone who judges anyone harshly for the choices that they make in their lives as far as drugs and alcohol, I am just horrified to see a great talent like hers on the brink of total and absolute destruction and not anyone around forcing her to make necessary changes in her life in order to just survive. Jaime Spears was able to get Britney under control and she seems all the happier now that someone has stepped in to help her. Yes, you can only do so much, but if I had a daughter that was in the shape Amy is in. I would do anything and everything I could to help her. If it meant a daily barrrage of visits,calls and interventions, then so be it. At least when it is all said and done you don’t walk around with blood on your hands having contributed to that persons demise because of apathy or frustration. People with as serious of a problem as AW, need someone to be persistant and unrelenting in their efforts to help them. If everyone threw in the towel when things got tough while helping out a drug addict, no one would survive drug addiction or be in recovery.
Yeah, whoever has “tried” to save Amy didn’t try very hard. If I was Amy, my parents would have locked me the hell up by now, and if Amy was my daughter, you can bet your ass she’d be doing better than she is here.

The reason all of you write on message boards and worry about baby mice is because you live in a sham-world, and when you wake up to that fact and realise all you can do is make art about it, it’s a little bit miserable. Try being 23 and having the whole sham world loving you as a commodity but knowing nothing about you. Fuck it’s like a bunch of mothers over the washing line. None of you ever do anything wrong?

Addiction is not something we as a group can cure, one needs to want to get clean, for it to work.. Then as a group you can help but the drug addic needs to want to get clean! If over 18 your parents can not force anything on you, you have to do it..
My brother was on Heroin for 15 years, sober now for 11 years, no matter what we did it did not work, he had to do it himself.. No matter how much my mom tried nothing worked, tough love worked when we all stepped back and did not enable the behavoir whether it be with trying to help to sending them to a drug rehab!
Now if any one actually watched the video’s as sick as they are (yes I agree very sick), you will see a child like side to Amy? Take that into account maybe she as so many others in the “lime light” these days are, just kids that never grew up or make their mistakes in public.. Also she seemed very nervous and proud when around her “god daughter” maybe just maybe being around and innocent child may wake her up? Body language say alot even if actions and words do not!
Too much money and fame causes alot of these issues but look at the general public how many druggies do you see daily and don’t really give a shit?
Think about it same problem just not on the NEWS.. If everyone would just leave her alone as requested by the father maybe she can get help, maybe not, but just maybe ease the pressure and she may be able to grow, to where she herself needs to be! Kicking addiction means giving up so much from her “husband” to everything she has known for years now.. Ask yourself would be able to give up everything you know and love?
