Here are some great photos of Dame Angelina Jolie (YES) and four of her children arriving in Japan yesterday. Angelina is going to be premiering Maleficent in Japan, that’s why she flew in with the kids. I’m counting four – Knoxy, Vivienne, Shiloh and Pax. No Maddox, no Zahara. Madd and Z got to go to London two weeks ago, that’s probably why. Now it’s time for Dame Angie to spend some quality time with the other kids.
I sort of miss seeing Zahara’s street-style fashion, because Z has much better style than her mom. But I enjoy seeing Knox and Vivienne so much – they’re getting so tall! Vivienne is going to be such a beautiful woman. She seems like a girly-girl too. Knox’s wave to the paps is killing me! He must be low-key like his dad. I should note: these kids are remarkably well-behaved considering they just got off a 10-hour flight, easy. Probably longer.
Shiloh’s shaggy pageboy hair is killing me too! It’s so cute. She probably wanted it to look like Mick Jagger circa 1973, but it basically looks like Shy Di circa 1981, maybe even the famous Dorothy Hamill haircut. Also, is seems like Shiloh is a skateboarder now, and Brad and Angelina just installed a HUGE skate-park at their Los Feliz home – you can see the photos here.

Wow, the twins are getting big/tall–every time I see a picture of them, I’m reminded of my own little cousin who’s the same age….he just shot up this past year, and he looks so much older. He’s not a baby anymore–I don’t have to chase him around the house to get him to take his naps anymore 🙁
I finally saw Maleficent–it was amazeballs…loved it.
*SPOILER ALERT*
I think my favorite scene was when she woke up and found that her wings were gone…that cry….and then of course when she found out why he did it….but I think what I loved the most was when the Prince’s kiss didn’t work. That’s one thing I never liked about the Disney movies–well, it was least believable in Sleeping Beauty for me–dude just met her. There is no true love’s kiss…I guess it’s a fantasy, but dang. Make it a little more realistic. Let them exchange more than two words before they’re in lurve.
I loved it too, and Angelina totally OWNS that role. *SPOILER ALERT*
My favorite scene was the one with Maleficent and the baby Aurora. It was weird and oddly touching to see Angelina interacting with her own baby. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that before — lots of pap shots of the kids, but no live footage, at least that I’ve ever seen (but I’m not a Brangeloonie, so I could well have missed it). Anyway, when the baby says, “Up,” my mean old heart just kind of melted, and I almost teared up. Weird reaction, because, as noted, I’m not a Brangeloonie. I do love babies, though.
Yeah–that scene was so odd, when you think that it’s her own child. And yeah-I’ve never heard any of her kids speak, so there was that too.
And am I the only one who thought that the media completely inflated Vivienne’s role? She was in the movie for like, two scenes–the scene where she says ‘up, up’, and when she falls off a cliff. I’d say it took a week, week and a half (bc of the special effects involved w/one of the scenes) to do it….I was expecting a lot more.
And look at the pics–Vivienne is improving her mother’s shoe game….they’re wearing the same shoes, diff. color…
Angie said in the press junket that Viv was only in 2 scenes and it only took a few days for her to film her part. I think as some have said the media as always made it a much bigger deal. She basically had a very small cameo. But I remember comments of nepotism and how Viv had stolen some work from struggling young actors.. LOL.
All the special affects came after. I remember Angie saying at the LA premier that the kids were going to be seeing it in 3 D for the firs time and that Viv was going to be confused by the tree catching her.. because obviously when she jumped her Dad was there..

As a seasoned Brangeloonie it’s near impossible to see anything other than Dame Angie walking with her kids. She knows how to act around paps and how to avoid them.
That Movie was awesome. Just good entertainment if you’re a fan or not.

Lovely pics of (half) the Jolie-Pitts. I like Angelina’s dress, probably because it resembles something I’d wear – comfy, casual and classic. The kids all look adorable, I love Viv’s dress! Angelina’s already said she’s very girly and you can def tell by her mannerisms and the way she dresses.

If it is possible, these kids just get more good looking as they grow. I love the way that Angelina and Brad navigate fame with their children, no complaining, no fame whoring, just a nice occasional photo. My only complaint is that Zahara isn’t there, her style is top notch.

And no hiding either. They know how to play the game. They play along for the paps if necessary and stay under the radar if possible. That’s how you should handle the media if you’re a superstar.

Oh my god! Love seeing Jolie-Pitt’s family! Anyway I love Shiloh’s hair and her style is just so cool. It’s going to be interesting as she grows up, is it bad to say she’s my favourite of the JP clan? Well, she is.

The pictures of the house were very intrusive. But I will say they have an amazingly gorgeous home. It looks like a HOME and not a cold mansion. Just a place you feel is really lived in; very child friendly. I could see the pool and trampoline too.. Yes fun times at La Jolie-Pitt home.
there are pics of Angie and the kids with the singer Miyavi and his kids. He is in Unbroken.. nice they are enjoying the time before the work starts.
I think Shiloh is Brad with Angelina’s lips and wow, is she leggy. She is almost taller than Pax. Pax seems to be using the headphones to drown out the noise and just move along. They seem to just get on with it, keep moving and have no public meltdowns, which is quite amazing with all the craziness they have endured. This trip seems to demonstrate how they split them up and share the travel for the children. Z and Maddox went to London, the other four go to Asia. Everybody gets to travel. The photos of the house are intrusive, but it is a great compound. Keep your privacy by buying up surrounding land….smart move.
Yeah regarding the home.. I’m amazed at the privacy. Beside Brad bought the first house years ago. And has been buying the surrounding properties as they years have gone. It is obvious to me that this is the place he meant to raise his family..
I love it. so lush; trees and plants and just really gorgeous. While it is obviously a “regular house” but it just looks so much more homey then most of the celebrity mansions we see.

I have love for pax. He has grown out of his shyness, as in no purple bear hiding his beautiful face. All Brad and. Dame Angelina’s kids are beautiful.

The children are all so cute! everyone has their own personality shining even when walking away. There is no escaping the fans and paps at Norita, but in Japan people are usually nice to them, hence the smiling.
AJ looks great, the whole bunch of children arecute but to me, the prettiest is Shiloh, I could see her in the role of Aurora when they showed her growing up, but wearing a longer hair wig, but alas, she would have preferred to act as a Maleficent minion, well, well… at leat Zahara and Pax got to be princess and prince, I saw them for a second!

Remarkable how at ease and well behaved the kids seem given the circumstances (painfully long flight + paps). That’s good parenting.
The kids look uncomfortable to me. Like let’s just hurry through this airport and get this over with mentality. Besides Knox, they look tense and guarded.
There just children, famous because of their parents. How weird it is for them to have perfect strangers analyzing their every move, what clothes they wear etc…..

I think they look like sweet, happy children but the analyzing and speculating about them (both positive and negative) freaks me out. Wouldn’t you have been freaked out by total strangers discussing you as a child? I think Brad and Angelina do a good job protecting the kids and in reality, we think we know their personalities, but a lot of it is projection.
tbh I don’t even have kids’ names straight. Just commenting on these and the last few pic I’ve seen of them. Regarding the “good parenting” comment, I had the celeb angle in mind. Many celebs give off very uneasy vibes to their kids, teaching them to fear the paps, and it shows in pics. Not saying the paps should be embraced but these kids appear (should I further stress ‘appear’?) to be as at ease as could be expected given their circumstance. Like it or not, their parents are world famous. A healthy balanced approach is necessary and it looks (stressing ‘looks’) like Brad and Angelina are successfully cultivating one.
I seriously doubt they put in a skating park for Shiloh. That’s a huge expense for one child. More than likely the other kids would use and enjoy it as well. The kids never act out yet the tabs and the general public claim the kids are so horrible. I don’t remember a single time that the kids were acting out yet it’s always claimed they are wild and out of control.

Is the Shiloh thing totally legit? I grew up around plenty of skater punk/tom boys and even the most butch girls grew their hair out. So did the boys. Maybe it’s generational and this is how butch girls roll now. I truly hope for her sake it’s all her own choosing.

I was merely wondering whether or not this hairstyle was of her own choosing given that in my time it wouldn’t have been fashionable for girls or boys of the skater crowd to wear their hair that short. I just said the same thing below without even seeing your comment. Maleficent is having a successful run at the box office. I predict it will reach $600m by next weekend and it will cross it because it is yet to open in Japan. So happy for Angelina. I remember some people saying it was going to be a flop. Now that it is successful instead of them to bite the dust they are now saying its needs $600m to break even I guess when it passes $600m they will increase it to $700m.

For the last few movies most sites have been claiming that any movie Brad and Angelina releases will be the biggest disaster of all time. Then when they are hits the critics say it has to make a far-fetched number, like a billion dollars, to break even. It’s weird that people so desperately want them to fail.

IMO, Shiloh and Knox strongly favor Angelina, right down to the cleft chin all 3 inherited from Jon Voight. Shiloh is also a southpaw like her maman. Vivienne looks the most like Pitt to me. All SIX children are really photogenic and appear to have distinct personalities. I wonder where Pax’s ubiquitous purple bear has been stashed.
Yay for Maleficent! I am beyond pleased about its box office success given all the gloom and doom predictions before its release.
Before seeing the pics, I thought it was just one of those makeshift ramps made out of wood. But dang! That skateboard park is huge and super cool! Brangie are legit the coolest parents in HW! And those kids are going to have some awesome childhood memories.

Um, preferences in clothing and hair style have nothing to do with sexual orientation for adults, so I hardly think it means anything in children. It’s about comfort and activity level, what would get in the way and what wouldn’t. Dresses and skirts require a lot of thinking to wear (sitting down, wind, crawling under big electromagnets to reset a sample in the lab), not to mention the chronic lack of decent pockets…. I don’t even own such things any more, and I’ve never felt any sexual attraction to women. I wore them when institutional dress codes required it and ditched them fast when the codes changed.
The J-P kids’ parents don’t fight hair and style battles, so the kids do get to choose with no fuss.
I think they did try other kids for the role Vivienne played, but it was hard to find one who wasn’t terrified of Maleficent! Viv knew it was just mom and could respond as required. She wasn’t entirely cooperative on set, which can be a problem with any kid that age, “professional actor” or not. They had to do quite a bit of creative coaxing. But the results seem worth it.
They have gorgeous children. All of them. Knox looks so much like Angie but favors Brad and Shiloh looks so much like Brad but favors Angie. Vivienne looks just like Brad, the spitting image. I think the twins lost their baby fat. Pax has finally gotten rid of his purple bear. I love all his watches. Angie looks very happy and beautiful. I’m very happy Maleficent is a success at the box office. It should crack $600 million and thats not including DVD sales.
