This year has been one of the worst in America’s history. Donald Trump is a fascist authoritarian who has sent the military and militarized ICE agents into American cities. Trump is going to war with Americans, with ICE acting like a 21st century Gestapo. In Chicago, over the weekend, ICE used chemical agents on Americans, and Chicago police have been tear-gassed. ICE is using flash-bangs and zip-ties on American citizens. They’re pulling their weapons on unarmed civilians. None of this is about immigration. None of this is about the rule of law.
Meanwhile, every time Donald Trump opens his mouth, he sounds more and more demented. His mental decline has been profound in the past two years. Over the weekend, Trump went to the US Navy’s 250th anniversary event. He turned up an hour late, then tried to make the event into a MAGA rally. Keep in mind, these Naval officers have not received their paychecks because of the government shutdown. Trump then told a story about Osama bin Laden, 9/11 and Pete Hegseth.

He really and truly is nuts.
There is no way we can survive another three and a half years of this. I don’t know what will happen or how it will happen but this country will either rise up as one and take back our sovereignty or we will submit to tyranny and oppression. The video of the thugs trying to kidnap that man gives me real hope. He fought like a tiger (unfortunately not everyone is strong enough or young enough to fight like that). But the citizens stepping up as they did proves that there are still heroes among us. We need to channel some of that great American energy which the neo-Confederates are trying to kill.
Me in zombie-mode: it’s only been 10 months since he took office. 10 months. 10 months of damage that will take a lifetime to fix.
That’s what we do – non violent resistance – get in their way, block them from their vehicle, block their vehicle in, distract, take lots of photos and video, They realized that they were outnumbered and it wasn’t going to work so they just took off. That’s another thing – who were these plain clothed thugs? Real law enforcement would not have just quit and left. They didn’t look like they knew what they were doing.
Those “agents” are clearly not trained and they also used multiple illegal holds, which means the guy has a nice lawsuit against ICE, which will cost us more money.
It is scary how incompetent and aggressive they are. I watch those cop cam videos on YouTube and this wrestling, tripping, falling over, in the street, etc, etc, etc, never happens. Disgusting. Dangerous. It’s no surprise they are making false arrests and people are dying getting away from them.
They aren’t checking id to make sure that is the person that they want. There is no proper arrest procedure. No rights recited. They just grab and shove them into a vehicle to take them to who knows where. THIS IS NOT NORMAL!

I think we are too. People with any of his suspected conditions can live a fairly long time with varying degrees of quality, but this is not a well man.

I would fight like hell if masked men approached me with zero identification trying to get me in an unmarked car. WTF. Are they gang rapists? Are they kidnappers? Human traffickers? What law enforcement snatches you off the street with zero identification forcing you into an unmarked vehicle? What fucking fresh hell is this? It’s 1933 Germany those men are committing crimes in broad daylight.
I really think the children separated from their parents are being trafficked. Where are those children and who is keeping track of them?
That’s the thing – they aren’t showing a badge and saying who they are. They aren’t wearing a badge or anything that has their name. They are masked. They are in plain clothes and unmarked vehicles. Who know who they are. Those vests that some are wearing you can probably buy online.
I’m afraid that a spark is going to ignite in Chicago soon. The tension is so high.

Trump is talking about the 1993 bombing of the WTC, for which bin Laden provided funding. He has spoken about that a number of times before. However, this is the first time he mentioned calling a 13-year-old Hegseth to warn him about bin Laden.
I just gotta say it was really brave of those residents to rescue that man. The agent had a weapon and could have easily shot all of them. Murica!

I think they WANT people to focus on how unhinged trump is, his rambling and lies, rather than questioning what is going on behind the scenes with the cultural, economic, and medical changes that are about to hit hard . Wouldn’t that be something if they threw T to the curb before next elections picked a new person to woo the base who will be electable after the changes they want have been made.
At some point people will focus that Trump not only always lies but that he is getting substantially richer while they are getting substantially poorer.
