Brad Pitt sued Angelina Jolie more than four years ago. He sued Angelina because she lawfully sold Nouvel, her half of the Chateau Miraval property and business. He sued her because he didn’t *like* that she sold Nouvel. He doesn’t have any legitimate legal arguments here. His case boils down to “I’m mad that she sold something which was legally hers to sell.” Angelina countersued him for being a f–king abusive jackass. In the past four years, we’ve seen Brad try to smear Angelina using this lawsuit, and we’ve seen Angelina’s lawyers wipe the floor with him. Well, it looks like Angelina is possibly trying to draw this out, at least according to Team Pitt. Team Pitt is suddenly furious that Angelina wants a delay in the trial. Team Pitt rushed over to TMZ to cry about Mean Angie.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are going back and forth in court about when the trial will begin in their bitter legal battle … with Brad claiming he doesn’t want to delay too long, saying he would LOVE to start using his mega-mansion in France once again — TMZ has learned.

According to court docs, obtained by TMZ, the exes can’t agree on the start date for their trial in the fight over the French winery Chateau Miraval, which they purchased together while married. Brad sued Angelina, claiming she sold her stake in the winery without his permission … while Angelina said she didn’t need him to sign off on the deal after her negotiations with him broke down.

According to court docs, the yearslong dispute is currently set for trial on February 1, 2027 … but Angelina is asking for it to be pushed to November 2027.

Brad said he was willing to move the date by two months — but not until late 2027, like his ex-wife wants — claiming the delay has been depriving him of “the quiet enjoyment of his home in France.” Brad has issues with the new owner, who he believes has attempted a “hostile takeover” of the winery business.

In his filing, Brad also claims the winery business has been “stymied by the dispute,” and says he wants the dispute resolved as soon as possible so that everyone “can move on with their lives.”

Brad also insists that a quicker trial date is necessary to ensure key witnesses are still around … adding that Angelina’s former business manager, Terry Bird, “unfortunately passed away” and her other lawyer may be “too ill to testify.”

Brad said Angelina has provided no valid reason to delay the trial.

For her part, Angelina said that Brad was the one who brought a lawsuit with complicated issues and out-of-country witnesses. Angelina is also scoffing at Brad’s statement that he has not been able to enjoy Miraval, claiming “there is no evidence anywhere that Mr. Pitt’s ability to live in his own home has been impacted by this case one iota.”

Regarding the trial delay, I’ll wait to hear Jolie’s side of things before making up my mind about it. As we’ve seen many times in the past decade, Brad’s side loves to lie about anything and everything regarding Jolie, and I strongly suspect that there are good reasons for any delay request. As for Brad whining about not being able to use Miraval – Angelina hasn’t been back to Miraval since 2016. That’s why she sold her half. She’s not keeping Brad out of Miraval. He’s just f–king furious that Tenute del Mondo (a Stoli subsidiary) now owns half of Miraval and they’re crawling up his ass about his sh-tty business decisions. But this leads me to believe that Brad thinks this trial will solve his Miraval problems by somehow nullifying Jolie’s sale of Nouvel and “forcing” her to continue to co-own the property with him? Does he really think that’s what will happen here?
