Pax Jolie still hangs out with Brad Pitt’s side of the family, but not Brad

For years now, 22-year-old Pax Jolie-Pitt has stuck close to his mom, Angelina Jolie. In candid paparazzi photos, he assumes the air of a bodyguard, keeping his eye on anyone getting too close to his mother and often putting himself in-between Angelina and the paps. He’s worked behind-the-scenes on several of Angelina’s films, sometimes as an on-set photographer, and sometimes as more of a catch-all production assistant. He’s also started producing, and he was in Sundance earlier this year to promote a film he produced. Several years ago, Pax also reportedly went on a big social media rant about how much he hates Brad Pitt. I’m not sure if it was confirmed to be Pax, but I believe that’s how Pax really feels. Still, Pax has not legally removed “Pitt” from his name. And according to Page Six, Pax still hangs out with extended Pitt family:

Pax Jolie-Pitt remains close with dad Brad Pitt’s side of the family.

“Pax still has a relationship with his dad’s side of the family and continues to spend time with them,” a source exclusively told Page Six. “He recently joined his family as they went out to dinner and celebrated his cousin Sydney’s engagement to Archimede Jerome.”

According to the insider, Brad’s sister Julie Pitt Neal also attended the gathering, along with his niece Reagan Pitt and numerous other close family members.

Sydney shared the exciting news in March on Instagram, captioning the post, “I said yes (duh).”

Despite Pax’s close relationship with his father’s side of the family, he “doesn’t have much of a relationship with Brad,” a second source exclusively told Page Six.

Reps for Jolie and Pitt did not respond to Page Six’s requests for comment. While Pax, 22, continues to spend time with his paternal relatives, several of his siblings have taken steps in recent years to distance themselves from the Pitt surname.

I have no idea if Brad’s side is trying to act like “see, at least one of the kids still associates with the Pitt family!” Because this actually proves the opposite of what Team Pitt has been crying and lying about for years, that Machiavellian Angie “alienated” all of the children and the kids all ignore Brad’s family too! That’s clearly not the case. Good for Pax for still having a relationship with his Pitt cousins. I hope some of the other kids do as well. Pax “doesn’t have much of a relationship with Brad” – I’ll bet.

This entire family has become insufferable.

    • Gail says:

You’ll have to clarify….who has become insufferable, exactly?

    • Michelle says:

Then why waste energy looking and commenting if you feel that way?

Since the split all the kids stayed in touch with Pitt’s side, instagram photos of Pitt’s mom and nieces at Angie’s house proved this years ago, but the media blaming Angelina for ‘keeping them from his family” narrative is keeping Pitt’s sob story alive. Nothing coming from Pitt’s camp has any truth to it, sick of people falling for his PR bullshit.

He seems like a sweetheart. I hope he has whatever relationships with whoever that are good for him.

  3. NikkiK says:

Archimede Jerome is such a cool name. LOL. I would hope all the kids have a good relationship with the Pitt family. Especially since Angie doesn’t really have much by way of family.

  4. Jais says:

Good for him if he’s close to his cousins. Idk that’s all I’ve got.

  5. FIFI says:

lol you know they’re feeling the heat when they have to backtrack their previous lies that they hadn’t seen his family in 10 years.

  6. jferber says:

Starry Owl, totally agree. He is such a cutie as well as a sweetheart. Angie has great kids (I guess not kids anymore).

  7. Lily says:

I’m glad to hear the kids have a good relationship with other members of their paternal extended family.
