Miley Cyrus’s “lap dance” video released – it’s not that scandalous

Yesterday, Radar had the scoop that “someone” had a video of a 16-year-old Miley Cyrus giving a 44-year-old gay film producer a “grinding” lap dance. This all took place at the wrap party for The Last Song last summer. I didn’t really doubt that the video existed, or that Miley did in fact give a dude a lap dance, and it looks like both were true. TMZ got a hold of the video (or part of the video, since this thing looks edited). Here it is, courtesy of TMZ:

My first reaction was “This is totally not as scandalous as Radar made it seem”. The party seems very crowded, and it doesn’t even seem like many people are paying any attention to Miley at first. Of course, then she climbs on a chair and rubs her ass on a 44-year-old dude, so people start paying attention. So… it is pretty gross when you think about it. I don’t care if Adam Shankman is gay – why in the world is a 44-year-old man dancing with a 16-year-old like that? Also – this is not Miley’s first time at the lap dance rodeo, even though I don’t consider this particular instance a “lap dance”. It’s more like some gross, underage dirty dancing, I guess. There is grinding. There is a lot of hip action. And she’s good at it, and she’s done it many times before. TMZ reports that “We’re told Miley’s parents were not at the wrap party. Miley’s reps had no comment.” I can’t see how Miley’s parents would object, seriously. What are they going to do? Take away the stripper pole she had installed in her house, where she’s now living alone?

    ugly girls try too hard…

  2. whatevs says:

Wow, what an unfortunate case of horse mouth.

    That is all.

  3. NayNay says:

What, she is just following in the footsteps of Britney. As it is, it seems as if she has no parental control, at all. I mean, if you can call your father sponging off your career, parental control, then I am wrong, I guess.

  4. Marjalane says:

This girl has a boatload of money, why doesn’t she get that horsemouth fixed?

Somebody tell Miley that Mr. Ed called, and he wants his feed-bag back.

  7. Vi says:

1,2,4,5,6 really? you have nothing better to do than say horrible things about an underage girl? i suppose that you must all be perfect.

anyway while i do think some of the stories about her parents lack of control are a bit sad and might end up in a lindsay type situation this video isn’t very scandalous on miley’s part- teenage girls do carry on like that in clubs, the creepy part is the 44 year old guy who’s joining in.

  8. gossip_ho says:

    i blame the parents…

  9. padiddle says:

I think it’s his age that makes it so inappropriate.
I mean, I did stuff like that at school dances when I was 16 – but it was with my male friends/boyfriends who were the same age as me.
It’s natural to be somewhat sexual at that age and to try and push boundaries, but she definitely takes it too far.
Anyone remember the pictures of her in the shower that she sent to her bf? That’s where I think you cross the line from normal hormonal teenager stuff and skanky ho stuff.

  10. ams1 says:

my dad would totally fight that dude if that was me….

  11. ams1 says:

and then he would probably fight me…

  12. Snarf says:

    Much ado about nothing.

  13. Spooge says:

Why should age be any factor at all? Man… talk about an openly allowable prejudice in society. “Age prejudice” A persons age shouldn’t have any baring on what a person does in life, anymore than being gay, black, lesbian or any of the other prejudices we’re finally starting to get rid of.

  14. Missfit says:

Well like someone said, it’s the age issue, not only is he much older, but duh, she was a minor and a kid. And I know some little hood rats dance like that all the time. When I was in school, I saw all the girls dance like that, cause let’s just face it, they had no real dancing skills, but to rub their ass and boobs on boys, when they were supposed to be kids? I didn’t dance like that and even when I went to clubs as an adult and someone would ask me to dance and all they wanted to do was rub up on me, I would just walk off the dance floor and leave them hanging. They’d be like..huh? I was like, sorry, that’s not me, I know how to really dance, I don’t do that kind of shit with just anyone. And even most likely when it’s your partner, husband or what not, then I think it’s ok, depending what age you are, not a child. It’s not about being prejudice, when you’re a child, you’re a child, you don’t need to dance like that with an older man, some people should keep themselves in tact until of age.

  15. Lway says:

That 44 year old would bang Miley in a heartbeat – why else would he have to hold her the whole time – even when shes’ on the chair, he is holding her?

Also, the move in the beginning – his is BANGING up against her –

I have gay friends and none of them are this clingy – it’s like he put “dabs” on her. “dabs, i’ve already been working this ass all evening, if she’s putting out, i am first”

Losers ….. Where The Fuck is Billy Ray when his little girl is hanging out here with a man old enough to be her father dancing like a ho?

  16. Chelly says:

    Girl luvs her short shorts

  17. padiddle says:

Spooge – It’s not ageism to say that a 44 yr old man should not engage in sexual type dancing with a 16 yr old girl. Get real. I think you know what the actual issue is and why it’s inappropriate. If age “doesn’t matter” than I suppose you think it’s appropriate for a 44 yr old to grind with someone even younger than Miley.

  18. Kaye says:

Are we seeing the heads of young children watching Miley grind her butt into the crotch of that guy? If so, I am grossed out. Miley is in a difficult position because she may want to seem all grown up, but Disney still wants to push her onto the young kid demographic.

  19. Huma says:

    Ams1 – Hahahaha.

Also, you know what IS sexy? Women/girls who have enough self-respect not to try too hard.

  20. kelbear says:

She is the best role model ever! LMAO

  21. mimo says:

    OMG she’s a HO!
    where’s her parents?

  22. EMV says:

I am so tried of this person…she and lady gag gag need to go away, far away.

  23. Saor says:

How could she happily do that? I’m 17 and the idea of grinding up against a 44 year old man with his hands on my hips -be he gay or not- seriously grosses me out big time.

  24. Blaster says:

I’m gonna need the moms to un-clutch their pearls, and stop going after Miley for dancing with an openly gay man almost a year ago!

I went to Prom in HS and they should’ve been more worried THEN about what their child was NOT wearing (actual fabric) to that event, let alone how they were dancing. And trust, their dates weren’t gay…meaning they wanted to bang their daughters later. Like it’s better if they’re dancing with someone straight and younger.

Yes, He’s older, that’s not okay, but I hate it when people make a fuss about someone famous but not their own children, or pretend like they haven’t done worse. It’s a year later and Miley hasn’t gotten a DUI, overdosed or made the career choice of being a stripper. She’ll be okay.

And please. This is NOT a lap dance.

  25. GatsbyGal says:

@Saor – Something tells me Miley is used to showering affections on older men. How else do you think she’s made it so far? I’ll tell you right now, it’s not because of talent, and it’s certainly not because her dad’s a big-name star.

  26. Constance says:

I am not age prejudice (Worst Concept Award), I’m understanding of the lawful means and boundaries to which I do not like to see pedophilic behaviour. Let me remind some that not all gay men were always gay men. Not all gay men are female abstinent. No grown ass man should be grinding publicly on 16 yr old girl in a club-like environment with other grown adults standing there watching that horse-faced girl try to get her gay producer hard.

    It’s gross.

  27. Clue Up says:

In most states, 16 is the age of consent (not in CA, tho). So this is not exactly a child we’re talking about.

  28. MissyA says:

My bf is doing his course work for his teaching certificate, and I’m about 85% sure I’ll follow suit after he graduates.

It’s kids like the Cyrus girls that give me reservations about my intended career. I don’t think I’d get through a school year without some good old fashioned corporal punishment.

Maybe I’d be better off being a librarian. . .

  29. thebutlerdidit says:

The biggest question is why a gay man of any age is grinding on a chick? Yes, he’s the one that shouldn’t have been hanging onto and pulling her against him. He’s the adult, not Miley….she’s been going with that Liam Helmsworth kid since last year at this time. Wonder where he was?

  30. Jeri says:

Explicit sexual behavior as a tween/teen, living on her own at 17, parents major source of income, no parental guidance.

    Lindsay all over again.

  31. I should be working says:

To the sensitive Miley supporters: Saying she’s ugly and has a horsemouth isn’t “saying horrible things about a young teenage girl”; it’s merely being observant. Nobody hates Miley. We’re just tired of seeing her. Especially like she’s trying to be now- you can’t go from HM to seductress *snort* and it be believable. Especially when your baby teeth are still sticking out of your mouth.

  32. Lady D says:

@ I should be working…saying she is ugly and has a horse mouth may not be horrible, (I think it is, but that’s me)it is however cruel.

  33. The Bobster says:

I’m certain she’s going the slut route on the advice of her manager.

  34. daisyfly says:

I’m not going to make fun of her appearance. Neigh, I’m not going to do that at all. Hay, you know what? It’s not okay for her to hoof around the way she’s been, but she’s not a foal anymore. And if she’s philly-ing like she’s grown enough to handle the consequences of this hot-to-trot behavior then let her.

  35. alexandra says:

Everyone is such a puritan now. Honestly, think back when you were 16. Maybe is just me, but just like Miley my cooch was itching for some bone.

  36. GatsbyGal says:

@DaisyFly – I’m pretty sure you win Comment of the Month now. That was hillarious.

  37. damn says:

wow wow wow!!! I HAVE NO WORDS!

look at 50 seconds, the man has sex with her practically.

damn! this girl is a damn slut. and this guy looks like a pedophile.

  38. M says:

I’m surprised that out of this whole scandal, that Adam Shankman isn’t taking any heat. He’s the adult here. He shouldn’t have allowed her to grind up on him and vice versa. Now I watched the video and I didn’t see any lap dances. Grinding yes. But it’s the typical kind of dancing you would see at a club. It’s not that bad. The only creepy thing I got from it was Adam Shankman.

  39. MingMing says:

She’s still just a hick from the sticks!

  40. doublestandard says:

This is really, really sad. A forty something year old who is her producer? Poor Miley. Seriously, no one is looking at for this girl and she’s headed down a sad road. 🙁

  41. I Choose Me says:

@daisyfly. You made me laugh so hard I think I broke something. 😀

  42. hey says:

on the seventeen magazine miley stated that she doesn’t want to turn out like those stupids. what a FAKE! she’s bringing heller disgrace to her father and her family’s last name.

  43. sky says:

I was doing worse than lap dances at 16. Im sure most have done this. Hypocrites that is what all you are. Leave her alone, It wasn’t even a lap dance, she was dancing on him plus hello hes gay not into the whole girl scene.
