Radar is reporting that another woman is about to come forward at a press conference today and claim that she was the victim of a sexual crime perpetrated by Roman Polanski. I think. We don’t know this woman’s name, but Radar says that she’s got Gloria Allred representing her, so I really don’t know what to think. Good Lord, is it Rachel Uchitel? Does Uchitel have a tape of Polanski telling her how much he loved her? Of course I jest. We all know that whatever happens, Polanski is the real victim, right?
A new woman is coming forward with sexual charges against Roman Polanski, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively. In what is sure to cause an uproar, the new alleged victim will hold a news conference Friday with famed attorney Gloria Allred in Los Angeles, RadarOnline.com is reporting exclusively.
The shocking twist to Polanski infamous story comes as legal wrangling over his 1977 case has heated up with the filmmaker under house arrest in Switzerland, fighting extradition to the U.S. where he faces up to two years in California state prison.
In 1978, Polanski pleaded guilty to unlawful sexual intercourse with a 13-year-old girl. He reached a plea bargain deal but when the judge in that case said he would renege on the deal, Polanski fled to France. He has been a fugitive since then.
He was arrested in Switzerland on September 26, 2009.
It is not yet known if the new woman will charge that she was underage when she was allegedly the victim of a sexual crime by Polanski.
Polanski has long been a controversial figure, celebrated for his art and demonized for his actions with an underage girl and subsequent flight from the United States and avoiding punishment.
Now, with new sexual charges about to be leveled against him, the controversy surrounding Polanski is certain to erupt and grow. RadarOnline.com will continue to update the story as it develops.

This is kind of a non-story until we know the exact nature of what this woman is alleging. It could seriously be anything from sexual harassment to statutory rape to infidelity to bullsh-t. I can’t say that having Gloria Allred for an attorney at this point really gives this whole thing an air of credibility, but I’ll save my judgment until I hear this woman’s story.
With Gloria Allred as her attorney, I would question her story, though it could be true and she knows Allred is the one to get money as opposed to justice.
Can’t wait to hear if it was “rape rape”, or just rape.
Does Allred do anything besides represent allegedly wronged women?

I despise this man, but I also despise Gloria Allred. So I am going to wait and see on this one.
I feel awful saying that but I can’t think of any woman represented by Gloria Allred as thruthworthy and reputable. It seems to me that she devoted her whole practice to taking care of ..well …women with questionable morals.
I really hope this isn’t true. Obviously if she was really a victim, I hope she gets justice/$$/closure or whatever it is she’s looking for, but I never want to see his scummy face in the news ever again for whatever reason.
Considering Polanski hasn’t set a foot on US soil since 1978 pretty much anything would be covered by statute of limitations at this point. The only reason the original case still haunts him is the fact that he was already charged with it.

I just read that the alleged offence took place over 16 years ago in Paris. The alleged victim is a British erstwhile actress, who is coming forward because she just heard that Polanski has been involved in this sort of thing before. Not sure what planet she’s been living on for the past 40 years, and I’m not sure why an American attorney is dealing with the LAPD on this. I am pretty sure however that I know why the alleged attorney would not allow the alleged victim to speak with the alleged journalists who had convened for the announcement.
@Badrock she’s was what 16 when this happened? and the age of consent in the UK is 16, and the allred says that shouldn’t make a difference? i’m sorry to say but team polanski. i bet more is going to come out of the woodwork. people smell blood then come and get it.
i think he should pay for the original crime in some way-if there was no misconduct, if there was then sadly charges need to be dropped-laws and such. but these things coming out of the woodwork need to be ignored. if nothing else there is a statute of limitations. also since this alleged incident took place in the UK it shouldn’t be able to effect the case here. it has no bearing.
Gloria Allred lost her credibility a long time ago.

As much as I think Roman Polanski is a dirty, rotten scumbag, this allegation seems suspect. All I can think of is a money scheme in the making and Gloria Allred as ring leader.
