Lindsay Lohan’s crack-tears earn her 90 days in JAIL (updates: video)

LOS ANGELES, CA - JULY 06: Actress Lindsay Lohan attends a probation revocation hearing at the Beverly Hills Courthouse on July 6, 2010 in Los Angeles, California. Lindsay Lohan was put on probation for her August 2007 no-contest plea to drug and alcohol charges stemming from two separate traffic accidents, but the probation was revoked in May 2010 after missing a scheduled hearing. How much do you love Judge Marsha Revel? I want to send her flowers. I loved that Revel doesn’t take any sh-t. I love that Lindsay is going to JAIL. FOR 90 DAYS. And there’s mandatory 90-day stay in rehab too, right after jail. And real probation. I loved Judge Revel’s laundry list of Lindsay’s crackhead shenanigans. She said it all in her little mom voice too! Oooh, who loved the coke pants reference? And Lindsay cried the whole time!

Also – Lindsay doesn’t have to surrender for two weeks, and her lawyer asked for Lindsay’s SCRAM to be removed at that time. Meaning Lindsay wanted to party and get drunk and smoke crack before she went to jail. Crackhead was denied! The judge knew what was up! So the SCRAM stays on.

So, yes, I’m sorry I’m being such a spaz – Lindsay Lohan was found in violation of her probation, and then she was allowed to make a weepy crack statement for the court. You could tell two things for sure:

1. Lindsay considers her crack tears her best performance EVER.
2. She’s crying because someone dared to call her out on her delusional bullsh-t, not because she’s actually sorry for any of her crack shenanigans.

I started getting the feeling that Lindsay was going to jail when it became apparent that the prosecutor and the judge both wanted her ass. And the look and overly-dramatic tears came back again when Judge Revel announced in her mom voice that Lindsay was going to JAIL for 30 days for this, 30 days for that, and 30 days for being a CRACKHEAD LIAR.

I just wanted to mention a few things – how crazy and crackhead-lie-filled was Lindsay’s statement? Some commenters already noted the “trip to Morocco” where she was “working with children”. Really? She did an appearance at a hotel, tried to bone Gerard Butler (“for the CHIDLREN!”) and got high. Did she mean India, not Morocco? And all of that sh-t about her “working” and “supporting herself”? Really? Oh, and Lindsay really should have been coached on her trial behavior. The drawing and writing, the total spastic attention-deficit disregard for her surroundings, the eye-rolling and pouting and huffing needs to stop. NOW. And it will. Hopefully. Let’s give it 90 days in jail, shall we?

I’ll be updating!

UPDATE: Oooh, video of the sentencing and the crack tears, courtesy of IDLYITW. I could seriously watch this all day. This is the feel-good movie of the year:

And here’s my new girlfriend, Judge Marsha Revel:

Oh, and Ali Lohan was there too:

I’m waiting for more photos of Lindsay’s crack tears, but these will have to do:

  1. Nuharoo says:

    She deserves more.

  2. viper says:

Yeah I watched this live shes not out of the court house yet.

  3. bubbs says:

I love how the judge handed her arse to her on a silver platter.

  4. la chica says:

very good legal decision. finally she will be forced to grow up, stop making excuses, and take responsibility for being an entitled dopehead.

what a sad waste of talent. i hope the parents are pleased with their handiwork. and this has been allowed to be an influence on Ali. sad sad sad.

update to add: Michael Lohan’s last words in the impromptu interview thrown by his lawyer — the courts have failed Lindsay. ha ha ha. now we see where she learned to NOT take responsibility for her behavior.

  5. viper says:

Frankly her lawyer was a complete idiot and seriously blamed every one except Lohan. It was discusting how she insulted teh intellgence of the court. Lohan deserved so much more.

  6. YT says:

Hot damn! Don’t cross the judge!

I hope this means full jail time and not the sheriff sending her home after 84 minutes.

This might save Lindsay’s life if her personality and character don’t get in the way.

  7. Lemon Poundcake says:

This is the best day. EVER.

  8. bubbs says:

Also will her lips deflate in jail?

  9. qb says:

I wonder how many she is going to actually serve.

  10. flourpot says:

I heard 90 days in jail and then 90 days in “residential”. Is that rehab? Or did I hear it wrong.

  11. Ruby Red Lips says:

I really hope that the jail time and the rehab and probation wakes her up and helps her realise her actions and behaviour have consequences.

She is obv an addict and does need intervention, so good on you Marsha Revel!

Don’t think Lilo was expecting that verdict!

  12. Nudgie says:

90 days in jail AND 90 days of in-house rehab AND probation. This Crackie will be climbing the walls!

Finally – a Judge in California with balls! (pun intended)

  13. Chris says:

So Michael and Ali were apparently there – where was her mom? She can show up for a party, but not for this? Honestly, she is one hot mess.

  14. Kate says:

    Yeah. Right.

I will believe this crack-head is going to jail for 90 days when the 90 days are over.

  15. kimbo says:

OMG I missed it cause a damn customer walked in! Please replay that over and over yessss bitch deserves this.

  16. Sassy says:

Loved the judge and her sweet mom voice. See ya, crackie! Maybe those duck lips will come in handy.

  17. umabrasileira says:

Love this judge. I think we should send her a gift.

  18. Dr. Remulak says:

Oh did she ever get schooled, the judge was mighty kind to give her 2 weeks because she fully intended to toss Linds in the clink right then, right there. Lindsay’s performance was cringe-worthy: sobbing, lots of references about “working”, lots of “if I’d only known…” Oh boy, did she ever bury herself with that showing. Oh well, no more clubs, coke and swinger weekends in Cannes for a while, they are going to be up her little butt like fleas on a monkey.

  19. electric says:

Thank god she’s such a tough bitch. She can handle jail.

    Bwah ha ha ha

  20. bizzy says:

um, did lindsay draw a prison-tattoo dot on her hand …?

i don’t know why i’m mad at a drug addict/alcoholic for being completely out of touch with reality, but, somehow i am.

  21. roxi says:

@YT and qb: I agree. It’s really good that she got sentenced to 90 days jail and rehab but how much of this is she actually going to serve?

  22. bellaluna says:

Thank you, Santa, thank you! You gave me my Christmas Wish! Jail AND in-patient rehab upon release!

The jail time may be reduced (though I hope not), but I doubt the rehab time will!

Sorry for all the exclamations, but I’m just so darn excited!

  23. viper says:

She was told to surrender -my favorite part- lol so hopfully all of it.

  24. Lucky Charm says:

Finally someone has had enough of her bs! Too bad it wasn’t her parents years ago. Now let’s hope that she actually serves the full sentence. And that part of her speech where she said as far as she knows she was in compliance, and would have rearranged her work schedule to accomodate her weekly classes if she had known?!?!?! Listing Lowhands needs to grow up while she’s drying out, hopefully she’ll have the full 180 days to do it.

  25. cprincess says:

Might just save her life and the further away she is from those dreadful parents of hers the better…

  26. Jackson says:

    Butch up, crackie!

Also, some helpful hints: get rid of the extensions, go back to your natural color, and if anyone bigger than you invites you to their cell have a few hits of prison hooch before you go – it’ll make things easier for you.

  27. jane16 says:

    Terrific post, Kaiser!

  28. Bella Mosley says:

Should have happened long ago but it’s great that it is finally going to happen. Well, I’ll believe it when I see it.

I do applaude the Judge. Wish I could have seen it. Anyone know where you can find it?

  29. Liana says:

She’ll definitely serve the 90 days in rehab, hopefully she’ll actually serve some of her jail time – actual sleepover time. I liked her once upon a time. I didn’t like the way she got away with so much more than others and I didn’t like the way she made excuses for her own piss poor behavior.

I try to stay relatively nice about celebs because I don’t really know them other than occasionally seeing them around or running across them on a set or something, but this one – I have actually run across her self entitled butt on many occasions and while I’m not “happy” to see her go to jail, I think she deserves it.

  30. YT says:

Does she still have to wear her SCRAM monitor and have random drug checks until she checks into jail?

  31. Sluggo says:

Roxi, good point: It looked like Lohan’s attorney was a) trying to get her so-called “96 hours” into some adjustment of the 30-day jail time; b) That post-pokey 90-day treatment program may be ALSO adjusted to reflect time spent in the original program. I was watching the live courtroom feed when it went down and it seemed to me that Lohan was MORE upset to hear that her SCRAM bracelet wouldn’t be removed before jail, than she was about going to jail (and I still cannot believe her attorney would ask for that!). Now I’m sure we will hear the usual “overcrowding” excuse for Lohan serving her full time (“if they are eligible … will do 25 percent of the sentence”) but of course, that is only if she plays by the rules — which she has never done, right?

  32. Ruby Red Lips says:

    Commenting again, sorry!

But does Lilo’s lawyer want 2 weeks b4 she’s surrended to try and get her out of serving the 90 days??

Would an appeal go to Judge Marsha? If so am I right in guessing there will be no lenience…

  33. Jackson says:

oh, of course – she’ll only serve 25% and not in the general population. geez, if i ever get in trouble i hope it’s in LA county.

  34. Obvious says:

i feel bad for her. no seriously. look at her face. she thought she was above it all and it just came crashing down on her. those are real tears.

thank you judge! hopefully this will work for her, and years later (hopefully not that long) she can look back and say “that judge didn’t have it out for me. she had my best intentions in mind.”

  35. Diva says:

Long winded explanation on why she won’t serve 90 days in jail. Disappointing.

  36. lena says:

well not being in the general population increases her chance of serving a full sentence doesn’t it?

  37. bellaluna says:

@ YT – Yep, the SCRAM stays on until she surrenders for her jail time.

  38. irena NL says:

Good for the judge…she may just save this young woman’s life. Her mother is her main enabler.

  39. No Sensei says:

Sheriff was just saying female prisoners normally do 20% of their sentence due to over crowding n budget probs…

  40. buckley says:

    Yikes…so much rejoicing.
    I think it’s sad.
I know I know, she deserves it.
Hope it helps once and for all. Parents are good for nothing.

  41. Love the Viking says:

Well, 20% of 90 days is 18 days, so thats something. Hopefully she will do the full 90 in jail.

  42. d says:

Boundaries. We all gots to learn them sometime, Lindsay.

  43. bitterbetty says:

    BYE BITCH.

  44. Gwen says:

Michael’s a loon but at least he was there. Where’s Dina? This is JUSTICE after all..

  45. serena says:

    Oh thank god justice!
Finally someone punish her for being a crackhead, liar, idiot. And she deserves it all.

  46. d says:

I also hope she loses her loser “friends” over this and gets some proper, healthy, on the straight-and-narrow types.

  47. Dena says:

The upside: the next 90 days may just save her life and her career. She also won’t be running up bills.

The downside: her parents are going to try to work this into a money deal.

  48. Amy says:

Loved the way the writer of this article reported the story. May God help this girl called Lindsay.

  49. d says:

I think the thing that got me was Linday’s “what?!” at the sentencing, like she just beyond all this, like it’s too much, like laws don’t apply to her. She’s crying like a little kid who finally got told whereas before, everyone let her get away with everything. I still have my doubts as to whether she REALLY gets it though.

  50. Alice Tripp's ghost says:

Somebody responsible better keep a close eye on her for the next two weeks. I am betting there will be a (half-hearted) suicide attempt by LiLo.

  51. flourpot says:

@Alice. You’ve read my mind. Edit: I’m gonna give Linds the benefit of the doubt on this one. And just this one. Everyone is looking at her. If she’s smart, she’ll use that. Get her shit together in rehab/jail and come out with a splash. Job offers, anyone? I’m sure there will be if she does it well. Go Linds. Fuck your parents, you can do it on your own.

  52. Sophie says:

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA It’s about damn time

  53. d says:

Also: Excuses ALWAYS sound bad, no matter how old you are, no matter what. That was sad on Lindsay’s part. She really has no idea how to be an adult.

  54. JJ says:

Even if she serves a fraction of the time, that’s at least a couple of weeks we won’t have to see or read about her!

  55. QueenchromeB says:

Where’s the Mother of the Year at? Pretty sad n revealing if Dina was told to stay away..

  56. albeli says:

I loved that Judge Revel also wants to look into whether her Rx meds are contributing to her problem. I think the tears turned real at that point.

  57. albeli says:

Alice, I was thinking the same thing about a half-hearted suicide attempt.

  58. d says:

Aaaaaand so she’ll likely spend less than 90 in jail. Here’s my bet: NONE of this will make a BIT of difference. This cycle will repeat.

  59. oxa says:

If she tries to off herself then she will be in lockup sooner.

  60. Angel says:

I doubt she will serve the full 90 days in jail. I am happy for her, as strange as it sounds, for the rehab, though. Hopefully she utilizes the opportunity to get her life together without the drug haze. I definitely believe she has some substance abuse issues that is sadly, as is often the case for celebs, entirely enabled. (I am willing to bet my life Rx drugs are at play here, big time. And someone is banking in on yet another damaged celeb. Such a sick cycle we are witnessing here.) She may one day consider herself lucky; only time will tell.

I’ll admit, when she starts sobbing it was hard to watch. This poor, maladjusted and misguided child has no concept of reality, and she is about to take a crash-course.

  61. Crash2GO2 says:

Any time in jail is better than no time. we’ll see how long she stays. But remember, then she’s been sentenced to a 90 day rehab. There is no getting out of that one. And they will be scrutinizing all of her meds, you can be sure of that.

Still – my feeling is, it will make no difference in the long run.

  62. andrea says:

oh, i hope she stays in jail for the 90 days and in rehab for another 90 – think of it – six whole months w/o this idiot in the news! oh joy!

  63. CYANN says:

HOW SAD U ALL ARE, TAKING JOY IN HER DOWNFALL. IF ONLY THERE WERE TV CAMERAS AT YOUR DARKEST HOURS. HOW DIFFERENTLY WOULD YOU FEEL?

SHE HAS DONE NOTHING TO ANY OF YOU BUT ENTERTAIN YOU WITH HER SHENANGANS. MEDIA OUTLETS HAVE MADE COUNTLESS DOLLARS REPORTING HER BECAUSE ALL OF YOU EAT IT UP.

WHAT WILL YOU ALL DO WITHOUT HER TO MAKE YOU FEEL BETTER ABOUT YOURSELVES?

  64. jane16 says:

God, look at the pic of Ally. Looks like she’s dropping an f-bomb. What a gross family. The judge is great. Glad to finally see a celeb have face consequences for their actions, which is pretty rare here.

  65. andrea says:

p.s. i love the look on her face, like she has just been dealt some egregious injustice ala nelson mandela or something and looking at her lawyer like “how could YOU let this happen?” shows the extent of her total expectation that she’ll get away with shiz. homegirl got a slice of reality, here’s hoping she gets more and becomes capable of dealing with it appropriately

  66. EzE says:

Be Strong Lindsey and show the Haters up,they’re just bastard covered bastards with bastard filling.

  67. Blondie says:

Let’s pray she can get her life on track this time. Look how many jail and rehab stints it took for Robert Downey Jr to get his life together. And he’s been churning out hits left and right lately.

  68. other says:

Just saw some other pics of her laughing as she cried. Wonder if the tears were fake, or someone just tried to comfort her?
Oh well hope this will let her know she can’t get away with anything because of her “celebrity”

  69. Kaiser says:

Well, now we know where Dina is. Hi Dina!

    *coughCYANNcoughEzEcoughFudgietheWhalecough*

  70. Jackson says:

Ali is just pissed because she’s gotta go back and live with her mother again.

  71. popcorny says:

God, that was fantastic! *lights a cigarette*.
First time since OJ that I watched a celebrity trial/court proceeding.
-Satisfaction! *lights another denouement bliss butt*.
The judge and her wig had me nervous with the July 15th talk, looked like Blowhan was gonna skate again. But then she cracked 3 pterodactyl eggs of incarceration over Dimsy’s delusional head -and all was right with the world, if even just for a moment.
*lights a 3rd relaxing cancer stick*
    Ahhhh … and I don’t even smoke.
    It’s that good.

  72. Alice Tripp's ghost says:

    @other:
No, LiLo was not laughing. She was in utter shock and was protesting to her lawyer while the judge was handing out the sentence. Not a lip reader, but LiLo seemed to be uttering, “…But I did what they told me to” or “…but I did didn’t do…” or something like that. She was freaked and yet still had the gall to whine while the judge was speaking!
    B*tch please!

  73. M says:

HA HA HA YES! Glad to see she will spending some time in jail, I hope that experience will sober her up for good…but then I realize she will probably no doubt get some kind of “special treatment” like Paris Hilton did. Which means, I’m sure she’ll go back to her partying ways.

Plus it cant help that her moms Dina and her is dad is Michael. She’s doomed forever.

  74. Angel says:

No joy here, Cyann. I am happy, I suppose you could call it, that her self-destructive behaviour, as well as the people surrounding hers enabling of unhealthy, said destructive bahaviour because they PROFIT from it, has been halted long enough for, God Willing, this young woman to snap into reality and get herself together, for her sake. I am hoping that this is a good opportunity. Why would you call rehab and jail time (she will not be in prison, ffs, trust that, she will be well taken care of) for a addict (which she is, we just have no idea the extent) who is hurting others (stealing, lying, et cetera) a downfall? This is finally her chance to redeem herself, get healthy, live healthy, and return to the Lindsey Lohan many of us grew up with, and frankly, I think people are more relieved that overjoyed. Judge yourself before you judge others; you seem terribly confused about both LL’s situation and people’s reaction to it.

  75. gg says:

    REVEL FOR PRESIDENT.

  76. Listerino says:

Where can I watch this so good its almost orgasmic event? Is it on youtube?

I hope this makes her finally straighten her ass out but I strongly doubt due to all the negative influences in her life – namely her mother, father, and little crackwhore in the making sister – that it will have any effect whatsoever

  77. dragonlady sakura says:

Oh please, the jails are overcrowded, so she’ll get a nanosecond in jail! Hopefully, the rehab will work this time, though.

  78. Kaiser says:

Listerino – I just added the video of Judge Revel’s sentencing in the update!

  79. Solveig says:

I hope she’ll take this chance to grow up and leave all this s*it behind.
I smell “suicide attempt” right now.
I’m almost sad, and concerne, too.

  80. nolanative says:

This story just warms the cockles of my cold dark heart. Imagine someone having the audacity to say to this little narcissistic twit, that, yes, you do have to play by the same rules as everyone else. “white oprah” will be releasing her sanctimonious, my child has been wronged, statement in 3,….2…..1

  81. jc126 says:

Yay! She deserves it. And really, she NEEDS jail, and the in-patient rehab.

  82. Listerino says:

    Thanks Kaiser

  83. jane16 says:

Kaiser, you’re so funny! You and the judge & the prosecutor are my heroes!

  84. Jayelle says:

it’s about DAMN TIME. She should have got more! Totally deserved.. she has NO respect for the court and that is obvious through her body language, actions and talking while she’s being sentenced. she has no fucking respect for the justice system or for other people in general. I hope she has to fulfill her full 90 day sentence.

  85. CB Rawks says:

I hate her, and I hope the stupid little bitch actually LEARNS something from this.
I think the sentence should have been longer, because she is a constant scofflaw who has been giggling and sneering at all previous court dates (if she actually showed up), and I LOVE that she broke down in fake-ass tears when she realised she couldn’t slime her way out as she usually does.

  86. Sharopa says:

That video is awesome! I got the impression that her lawyer doesn’t really care for her either.

  87. bellaluna says:

    @ cyann:

LH’s “downfall” has been going for years; it’s not like she’s a novice at flaunting the laws, which govern, and rules, which apply to EVERYONE.

This is called “being forced to take responsibility” for her own actions. The “joy” you (think you) see is that she’s finally reached the dead end of “Getting Away with It” road.

And please don’t shout, dear; it’s rude.

  88. CB Rawks says:

Cyann? Without Lindsay we will feel safer driving on the roads and safer going out in public, because the little psycho will not be there to run us over or glass us in the face.

  89. Hautie says:

The thing that stunned me was Lohan did not have enough sense to sit there with her hands in her lap.

All the fidgeting and looking behind her while the Judge was talking.

Then kept trying to talk to her Lawyer while the Judge was sentencing her, and her Lawyer one step away from telling her to “shut the hell up!”. All good times… cause Lohan really did think she was going to skate on this.

I do want to say, the Judge came prepared for her close up. Nice blow out and perfect makeup. Now had she went ahead and did the fake lashes, she would have looked perfect.

  90. jane16 says:

Whenever the pr flacks and celeb buddies start in with their “you’re a haaaater” crap, it just makes me laugh and want to be even meaner!

Is there any internet phrase that has jumped the web shark more than “hater”?

  91. EzE says:

    @ jane16:

“jump the shark” is fairly lame.

  92. Lem says:

have to work for one little hour and all of crackdom breaks loose 🙁

  93. Fluffy Kitten Tail says:

Finally! She is held accountable (a bit) for her actions over teh last 3-4 yrs. Most of us would have been in jail a long time ago. but it is nice to know that she will serve, even a small amount of time!

Not to mention 90 days in-patinet treatment. Maybe she can incorporate that into working with Dr.Crew and get some cash doing Celeb Rehab!

  94. Lem says:

WOW just WOW big fat ♥ for Judge Revel. Can we get Sicko Sheen into to see her too

  95. jane16 says:

@ Eze, yeah, you’re right, it is pretty lame. But not as lame as haaaatttteeerrs!

  96. CB Rawks says:

Heh heh! Actually EzE, Jump the Shark is a legitimate phrase with a long and awesome history. Unlike your lame-ass text speak. But here’s one for you that you will recognise intimately: Epic Fail.

  97. bellaluna says:

Blohan mouthed “Are you kidding me?” to her attorney after she heard the jail sentence.

Links for her excuses and anything else that would be entertaining, please?

  98. jane16 says:

@ Eze, However, I don’t think “lame” could even come close to describing the bastardy custardy fillings with bastards, uh whatever the hell it was you said. Still obsessing about that ice cream cake, are we? Which brings me to a great idea…I think all of America should celebrate this victory for justice by having an ice cream cake this week.

  99. hellen says:

Boo f*cking hoo, Linds. Suck it up, tough bitch.

  100. d says:

    oooh! SNAP!

  101. la chica says:

Second comment (sorry I can’t stay away):

White Oprah has made excuse after excuse for how Lindsay is “spending her college years”. I wonder if she will think of this as a 90-day Spring Break? LMAO!!!!!!

  102. Mia says:

    schadenfreude-licious

  103. Lem says:

in her plea did she say ??

    “I was working, mostly…. I respect you and whatever…”

    transcript???

  104. Kelaa Khaa says:

Dina should have been at the sentencing and I could see her doing the famewhore thing over this, ala Jake and Vienna, so should this can Celebitchy ban any news of Dina should she attempt these kind of shenanigans?

  105. Rebecca says:

I never comment on these sites but this is horrible. You people are awful to her. She is just a kid who has had a horrible start in life; look at the parents. How many people, with terrible parents, are doing allot worse than Lindsay? I agree she needs to get her act together. But she is still young and has allot of time, hopefully, to do that. This may be just what she needs to start on the right road and I hope the outcome is positive for her. But give the girl a break; considering her parents it is amazing she is not laying in a gutter somewhere with the state swooping in to take her crack addicted babies away. She has not had a stable beginning. Cut her some slack, for God’s sake. What real harm has she ever done to anyone besides herself?

  106. Liana says:

Cyann? Without Lindsay we will feel safer driving on the roads and safer going out in public, because the little psycho will not be there to run us over or glass us in the face.
    ________________

There’s that. And not having her try to get you kicked out of your prime table at a club where your man is playing because she wanted it. And also, Cyann, most of us wouldn’t have gotten ourselves into that situation because we would have actually followed the judges directives the first time we basically got away with crap instead of acting like we were above it all and could do whatever we wanted because we were a “celebrity.”

Rebecca – she’s 24. She’s not a kid. At 24 I had a job, a condo, and no sense of entitlement. And she could have killed people during her little drug and alcohol fueled driving incidents. Actions have consequences and it’s time she learned that. I would like nothing more than to see her come out the other side of all of this with a new lease on life.

  107. Tia C says:

Justice would be more like 6 months solid time, IMO. She kidnapped 3 dudes and went on a high speed chase! That’s f*cked up!

The videos on TMZ got me in touch with my inner 5 year old – when I watched them all I could think or say was “HaHAH!!”

And I used to root for her, I used to think I liked her work. I’m not just being mindlessly malicious. She has been degenerating the past couple years. Best of luck to her.

  108. original kate says:

her courtroom breakdown was the best performance of her career, but it was still crap. hopefully she will learn something from this and come out a better person…you know, like paris hilton did.

  109. bellaluna says:

    @ Rebecca –

    1) LH is NOT “just a child” – Dina, is that you? – she’s 24 or 25!

    2) Bad parents are not a license to behave however you’d like; bad parents are something you live through (if you’re lucky!) and then get away from as far & fast as you’re able. Many people have parents who are even worse, and they don’t pull this crap.

    3) As for doing anyone else harm: ask the all the people at whom LH has thrown drinks; had kicked out of clubs; put at risk while driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs; and taken on wild drunken/drug-fueled rides in THEIR OWN vehicles.

@ Kaiser – Are there any links to the RightOn person’s testimony? I’d like to see the judge’s response, as well as hear RightOn’s excuses. Thank you for such great coverage!

  110. CityInDust says:

I have to say, people are deriving way too much joy from this tawdry mess.

I get that LiLo has behaved like a spoiled, entitle brat and that she deserves this punishment, if not worse.

However, the deluge of thrill people seem to be getting off on… kinda weird. I mean, she’s going to jail for doing something wrong. Enough, right? What’s it to you? Who gives a f-ck really? My world is 0.0% better or worse as a result.

    Meh.

  111. jane16 says:

Rebecca, she’s a kid who had a horrible start in life??? Are you kidding? Shes a spoiled, pampered, obnoxious little beast that treats other people like sh*t and could care less what her actions have or could have on other people.

A lot of us are fed to the teeth with obnoxious celebs getting away with disgusting (& illegal) behavior. Regular people, like us, actually have to pay for the consequences of our actions.

  112. FUTURESTARdelux says:

You know what? i find it morbid and disgusting that people laugh and take pleasure in her missfortune. Yeah i get that she commited the crime and i 100% agree that she should do the time but please remember she is just 23 and has no real friends or family that support her at all in her life.
If you or i was shot to stardom at a young age, was raking in millions and didn’t have any responsible influence we could end up just like her, Hollywood is a cannibal that eats it’s own children.

I am a Lindsay Fan but her life (and career) is a complete mess, in Jail she will be forced to spend time alone with her thoughts and face her demons and she will get thereapy, be kept off prescription drugs and alcohol too.

90 days in rehab will also be great help, i hope when she finally comes out of jail and then rehab she will be a stronger person who can take controll of her life and use her tallent productively.

Good luck Lindsay, some people are rooting for you. x

  113. andrea says:

ok, my new absolute favorite is “bastard covered bastards with bastard filling”. i plan on using this extensively.

  114. DD says:

I’m rooting for her to come out of this a better person. This girl needs serious therapy to deal with the issues that are making her act out like this. Even her parents are toxic.

  115. badrockandroll says:

Me, I like schadenfreude-licious (how do you guys think of words like this – the best i can do is throw in an extra – F*%&ing syllable)

  116. jane16 says:

Hey FUTURESTAR, I have a great idea for you since you have such a caring heart. We just took our disabled child to Muscular Dystrophy camp yesterday. Kids in wheelchairs, some in constant, lifelong pain, lifelong physical therapy, that will never get to have party lifestyles like your icon Lindsay. MDA is always looking for young people to donate their time and help out. Why not channel your compassion & time for some human beings that actually deserve it? Go to mda.org.

  117. Eileen Yover says:

She looks confused in that top pic…like she’s struggling to add up 30+30+30=??? Yes Lindsay: you will be missing out on all the epic raves, clothing events and crackfests in your 90 day stay…poor baby.

  118. Mrs Odie 2 says:

allot is not a word. And she would be LYING in a gutter. Good thing she uses birth control (aka anorexia).

You can’t make an addict quit. An addict has to want to quit. The people around her would need to want her to change, and I doubt they do.

  119. Aussie Mama says:

I was disgusted when this morning in Australia this was getting live TV coverage as it was happening in the court room.
    Unfknblvble!
The BP oil gusher in the gulf (the new 911)has not been mentioned on the news for 2 whole weeks, like it is all over, and this piece of shit, dominates the channels!
What the hell is going on with the world?
I rang local radio, to have a spew about it, cos Lindsay was the topic.
They wouldn’t put me on, cos it’s not what they want to hear. Divert the attention as usual from the things that really matter.
    What is happening to people?
Talking with fake friends on facebook, ploughing the imaginary farm on facebook, having groceries delivered from the internet order. People are insular, living in a cocoon, not having a clue on what the hell is going on in the world. This disaster will affect us all and the terrorists are bp.
What a sad world we live in my friends.

  120. purelife says:

I hope they will throw away the jail key! When shes out she will overdose herself with pills or drive dunk. hopefully no innocent life will be taken because of her. Shes not a loss to community.

and yes, if she serve full 90 days in jail, her lips will deflate. its fake, you know.

  121. EzE says:

    @ andrea:
    Stolen from the great Scrubs.

  122. Teri says:

I feel too many enjoy the suffering of the rich and famous. Only in America would little people enjoy the downfall of celebrities. You don’t care about the rehab you only want entertained like Britney.

  123. Anastasia says:

I’ll echo what others said: she’s 24 YEARS OLD.

I had horrible parents and a horrific upbringing, if you can call it that. Physical and emotional abuse and neglect like you wouldn’t believe. My parents were mentally ill and alcoholic. It was a nightmare.

But by 24, I had a college degree, was teaching high school, happily married, and a mother to a baby girl. We also owned our own home. I was healthy and productive and happy.

Not out scoring crack rocks, popping pills, thumbing my nose at the law and endangering myself and others, for starters. You can only use your childhood and your crappy parents as an excuse for so long. At 24, she’s past that point.

  124. d says:

I can see that there should be an effort to separate the person from their behaviour. Like, you can love your addict brother, but hate his behaviour.

I think society/adults in general, at a very basic level, has the right to call bullsh** on bad behaviour because it’s how order is kept in the community. I think it’s part of our human biological/sociological conditioning (humans live in groups, “good” behaviour ensures the survival of the group, etc.) There’s some other sociological reasoning in there, but I’m too tired to look it up.

Anyway, I think what most people object to in Lindsay is her behaviours and the sense of entitlement that she projects. And that entitlement is what got the smack-down today and why everyone is rejoicing. No one likes an entitled jerk…it’s just wrong. Deep down, we know that.

Also, again with the “just a kid” excuse? Are you her mother? Yes, when you’re in your 20s, you do dumb things, but there is a limit. At 24/25, you’re treading a very fine line if you’re still doing what Lindsay’s been doing. I will truly pity her if she’s in exactly the same spot this time next year. It’s not that her own mother constantly makes excuses for her while Linsday’s career is utterly in the tank – I get it, she was a child star, she needs a break. But. Constantly partying? Always hanging out with do-nothings? Doing nothing but laughable “work”? Really? You find that acceptable? Why not school? Why not a break from the limelight and cameras and Hollywood then? I mean, listen, calling bullsh** on someone CAN be doing them a favour. And always allowing someone to get away with something does them a HUGE disservice. I wish more people would realize this.

I have to say, that bastard’s bastard insult was brilliant and I may use it myself.

  125. Constance says:

I think it’s a good day when real justice sees paper. I mean honestly, it’s been 3 years and she still hasn’t wised up. Other celebrities have gone through the system for chemical abuse and various traffic incidents without having issues. It could have all been handled properly by her and swept away into the past.

“Shattered the lie but you think I don’t already know,
Don’t try to deny ’cause my fuse is ready to blow
Its your turn to learn I think that you know where to go
It’s a shame, shame, shame for you”

  126. FUTURESTARdelux says:

@Jane16 I live in the UK so i couldn’t do that but i think it’s a great thing and i fully sympathise with your childs dissability and the pain it causes you & him/her.
Lindsay is not my “idol” why would i idolise a drug addict? i do have sympathy with her because unlike your child she doesn’t have loving parents to look out for her she has spongers and enablers.
I’m sure she didn’t just pick up drugs on her own she was in an environment whare she was offered them and her parents shouldn’t have allowed that to happen but didn’t they let her move in with a 30 year old man when she was 16?

Again i agree that she is getting this becuse of her own actions which i don’t condone but she is a product of her upbringing (or lack of) as are we all and i hope she gets back on the straight and narrow.

  127. fc2010 says:

Bet she serves most of the 90 days… Judge will b watching… This will save her life or kill her….Her choice.

  128. Constance says:

I think we all believe Linds should find a way to a more legal, healthy way of life.

I think that’s really the point of laughing at her when this is all her own doing. She’s done nothing but deny any responsibility for herself and the situations she’s got into. I don’t think anyone truly wishes harm on her. She deserves to go to jail, and to find out for herself what consequences are for doing illegal activities.

It is not misfortune to go to jail when you have committed a crime. It’s f–king reality!

  129. Fluffy Kitten Tail says:

I have no empathy for her. She is an adult, she has had more privileges than any of us and she has blantantly pissed her talent and her oppportunities away.

She has not learned from her mistakes. I was her age once, and I was a partier, but I decided one day that being a decent person was more important than a party girl. We all makes choices in life, and she has continued to make poor ones, in addition to flagrantly spitting in the eye of the law time and again.

  130. Jag says:

I hope she has to do more time, like Paris did, rather than the “90 minutes” crap they sometimes pull.

This judge and prosecutor probably just saved Lindsay’s life. At least for a while.

Expect drama, a la Paris’ breakdown, and whining, a la Hoganboy.

  131. jane16 says:

@ FUTURESTAR, thank you for your nice response. I agree that her parents are atrocious, but at some point people have to be responsible for their own selves. There are a lot of child actors in our homeschool group & they are all great kids with nice manners, take their education seriously, and all spend time doing volunteer work (as does my son). Just being a child actor does not always mean that a person will end up being a druggie or otherwise screwed up. Like you, I hope she finds her way onto the straight & narrow (not sure she was ever on it), but I think she will have to conquer her spoiled, entitled, everything is about me side for that to happen.

  132. Liana says:

but whatever happened to personal responsibility? People TRIED to help her. She just wouldn’t have it. Perhaps she’ll learn some humility in jail… IF she spends more than a few hours there.

  133. Wif says:

I’m pretty good at lip-reading (it’s a requirement of my job) and I noticed that at 1:32ish of the above video, when the judge is delivering the sentence, she looks at her lawyer and says, “Help me.” A moment later she looks at the judge and says, “What?” Meaning that she had absolutely no idea that things could go this way for her, and considering that we all knew, she must have a strong network of enablers around her. I agree that she should do the time, and I also agree with others who have shown her some empathy; she has no one that loves her enough to be honest with her.

  134. Katija says:

This is a better clip because it shows her little speech/plea before the sentencing.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jnI1_YHETsE

She is such a bleeping bullshizzer, and then she completely breaks down like a little girl.

To quote the great Tyra Banks in her epic mama-knows-best tyrade, “LEARN FROM THIS!!!!!!”

  135. mollination says:

I can see how she often used to get away with shit though because I did start to waver a tad while watching her “Right On” coach talk, and then I had to pinch myself and remind myself that this is the chick who freaking DIDN’T SHOW at all to court, or showed up hours late. She expects some “too little too late” bs make-up classes to save her ass after all the nonsense??!?!?!

You know bitch is going to snort like, 70 oxycontin tonight. Girlfriend is gonna be twacked out of her mind for the next 14 days. She’s probably like “can we get out of here” so fast so she could go get her damn fix.

**And on a note of the her damn prescription use: How does the court not realize that 14 days worth of “injury related” pain-killer prescription (or even a month’s worth) should not still be showing up in her system in the ammounts that I imagine they probably do?!!? It’s math. Or crack-equations. However you want to slice it.

  136. FUTURESTARdelux says:

@Jane16 i COMPLETELY agree with you that she needs to take responsibility, it so strange that she is 2 years older than me but seems to have the mentality of a child when it comes to this stuff.
I remember when she was younger (around the mean girls time) she seemed really focused on her career etc but obviously being surrounded by enablers and hangers on affected her.
I also agree with you that not all child stars are like that look at Charlotte Church (the opera singing girl)she is now the same age as Lindsay still successful, a mother of 2 and really down to earth (she lives in my cit and we see her around a lot) but yeah i guess she had a more stable family to keep her grounded.
Hopefully LL takes this opportunity because if she manages it right this could be a big comeback.
Also you seem like a great mum too so i’m happy for your child ^_^

  137. la chica says:

Last comment/observation based on re-watching the video:

Lindsay had such difficulty staying focused and paying attention that she did not realize she was going to jail until someone behind her started sobbing. That’s when it hit her. She herself had completely tuned out the judge and was in her own mental world. It’s only after the person (Ali?) behind her started crying that it triggered Lindsay’s tears. And then she frantically started asking the lawyer what was going on.

What I can’t decide is if she tuned out because she was so convinced that she wasn’t going to jail, or if she really has such bad ADD.

  138. dovesgate says:

@ mollination Thats why the judge wants to look at her prescriptions. Weeeee our lil crackhead is finally going to get sober!

I do feel for this girl. I’m hoping that finally, FINALLY being held accountable for her actions will be a huge clue by four upside her head.

The judge told her lawyer that nothing mitigates the time ordered in the in-house rehab program so even if she only spends 3 days in jail, she’s still going to rehab for the next 90 days. Hopefully she learns something from this.

  139. Hottiemommy80 says:

Hooray!!!!! Finally cracklohan gets to spend 90 glorious funfilled days and nights in jail…and for a added bonus 90 days in rehab..the hits just keep on coming. 🙂

  140. Crash2GO2 says:

@mollination: Why do you think they are talking about pain meds? I assumed they would be discussing her Adderall and maybe an anti-depressant – something she takes on a regular basis.

I finally watched the video – I was at work before. She honestly had no idea this was coming. I agree with the poster who says she has a strong group of enablers and succubi around her.

  141. Morgs says:

Where are they going to send her for rehab? I mean, what place is going to work? Where the fcuk is Jeff Van Von Vonderen?

  142. Morgs says:

If she’s that cracked out on Adderall, you best bet she’s got her hands on major downers as well.

  143. Maghreid says:

I don’t think the world would end if we showed Lindsay a little compassion. 9 years ago I was in her shoes, and still haven’t gotten the taste of that bitter pill out of my mouth. Jail IS NOT the answer nor a solution. If I was Judge Revel I would have sent her to 18 months lock down rehab. Only when the “bonds” with the enablers are broken, can she truly get well. The enablers want her this way to exploit her. It was hard for me at 23 to see this and I can only imagine how difficult all this is for Lindsay to comprehend. I wish her well and hope none of you ever experience this for yourselves or your children. Sorry this is so long and rambling.

  144. Annicka says:

I just noticed how super smooth her forehead is, and usually it’s all creased and lined. She clearly had her lips done, I think she had a little Botox too. Only in the very top photo is there any hint of a line by her eyebrows. You’d think her forehead would be all messed up when she’s crying, but it’s totally smooth.

  145. Leek says:

The rejoicing is funny and I wish I could say I wasn’t joining in, but I am. However, I think we all know that if she serves time and can come out clean and sober and stay that way she just might have a great comeback ahead of her. Unlike Britney, Lindsay is an addict and that can be cured. Insanity cannot.

  146. Liz says:

I found her grabbing at her lawyers arm to be heartbreaking, in a sense that it should have been a parent.

I also agree this is probably the best thing for her, but all the vitriol that is being spewed her way is a bit out of line. Believe me, I love a good ol’ case of schadenfreude but I just find this whole situation sort of sad.

She definitely does deserve all that’s being thrown at her, and then some after all the shit she’s pulled, however some of the comments being thrown her way are kind of nauseating. Again not defending her, just stating an opinion.

  147. OC lady says:

@Future Star. Not all of us are enjoying her downfall. However, what she did was VERY dangerous and she could have easily killed someone. My friend was killed in a drinking and driving accident 5 yrs ago, and it’s still hard to think about. Lindsay was given 7 chances to attend an AA meeting as part of her initial sentence and she didn’t show up. What do you expect to get through to her? I think she had built up such a wall of BS and denial that this was basically the last straw by everyone. I hope that she sobers up and finally puts herself together. It’s pretty sad. The girl had a every opportunity and she blew them all.

  148. Cheyenne says:

@Future Star: What this young lady needs is a good old fashioned dose of tough love, and since her parents never disciplined her, the court had to do it for them. Sadly, though, I don’t think going to jail is going to make any difference in the long run. She’s going to come out of there with an attitude of okay, I did my time so let’s party. I’ll be very surprised if she lives to see her 30th birthday.

  149. FUTURESTARdelux says:

@Lady i didn’t say she shouldn’t go to jail, actually i totally agree hat if she did the crime she should do the time and it’ll probably be good for her anyway.
All i was saying is that i hate how (some) people are so nasty about her, she may be f***** up and on drugs etc but she is till just 23 and without any decent rolemodels or friends.

  150. L says:

Look, I’m not happy she’s an addict. I am happy she is doing the time for the crime (thank you johnny cochran)

Having seen people I know have to go through much worse for minor offenses, it is insane that this woman who has done so much worse, and has thrown back all of her 2nd, 3rd, and 4th chances finally get the jail time she deserves is a relief. She needs to also do the rehab yes, but she also BROKE THE LAW. And her probation. Several times. It’s time for her to understand that breaking the law has consequences, and I hope she learns from it.

But pity her? No. Feel sorry for her? No. She deserves to go to jail, but I hope that and rehab will work for her. If it can clean up RDJ, it’s gotta work for Lilo right? Right?!

  151. Mayday says:

does anyone think its weird how much ali looks like sam ronson?

  152. purelife says:

cyan, people are happy because finally someone gave her sanction for her behavior. its for her own good. she was given many many many second chances but she never changed a bit. actually she got worst and worst. she abused the chances given to her. if u let this girl just roam around the city, she may even cause a loss of life to others because shes so reckless, bad influence, etc. the govt will give her disciplinary action if her parents cant do that role. its for COMMON GOOD.

  153. nona says:

    good for her!

  154. Ken says:

blah – tried watching her whine, couldn’t see it through. Scatterbrains. The umms were killin me. I’m hoping this is something she will look back and be thankful for. She is young, 90 days (if it turns out to be that much) is a cakewalk in the grand scheme of life.

  155. OC lady says:

@Future. She’s ONLY 23? Really??? I thought she was way older. Wow. She’s a hard 23! Well, I see your point. I also hope she gets it together. Hey, if Britney could do it . . . 🙂

  156. yae says:

Did Amy white house get simular sentences?

  157. SFinsF says:

Best thing that could have happened to her. Get her into a different reality — and also get her away from the pushers who talked her into injecting whatever the hell it is into her top lip — she’s 23 and already having bad procedures done as though she were 70-something Joan Rivers! Eeeeeeeesh!

  158. SFinsF says:

We are supposed to have the same justice system for all. Do you think that, if Lindsay Lohan were black, 30 and had 4 little kids and no husband she wouldn’t have been sentenced LONG ago? Of course she would have (and I don’t play “the race card” very often, nor am I black). The girl seems to think that somehow her job is more important than anyone else’s. It isn’t, honey. In fact, I’d argue that makinga movie is a whole lot LESS necessary than…oh, driving a garbage truck or being a secretary at a small company or a mother or a teacher or a janitor or bank teller — well, just about any “normal” job I can think of. No one NEEDS to go to the movies, Linsday. And no one needs another spoiled brat little drug-abusing alcoholic smashing into their car in a fit of pique or throwing things in restaurants, either.

  159. Aussie Mama says:

Where were her big mouthed, devoted parents?
the enablers and cash hungry traffickers who sold her for $$$ in the 1st place. they should do the stint with her too.

  160. RhymesWithSilver says:

I know people who were practically raised by wolves, and who didn’t get into a fraction of the trouble or make any of the excuses Lohan has. She’s nearly 24. She left childhood and adolescence in the dust years ago. You’re done, honey. Go to jail.

  161. joe says:

I don’t think that there is any proof that jail time decreases drinking and changes lives. 90 days in jail will not change a life that has been struggling for years now. The rehab is a good thing. I am really sad that there are so many hateful people on this site. This women/child is struggling, her parents have treated her in an awful way, and she has an addiction. There are thousands like her however, because they are not famous no one cares. Instead of supporting Lindsey and rooting for her people hate her. Go figure. THis site sure must have some holy, perfect people on it.

  162. Michelle says:

I just want to remind everyone that there were actually some “victims” in that original “drug-fuelled” car chase that Lindsay was responsible for. Imagine you’re two guys sitting in the back of your friend’s parked car and all of a sudden some enraged, stoned out of her mind chick, jumps into the driver’s seat and takes off after some other person she’s supposedly pissed at. If I recall the story, those guys were terrified for their lives and begged her to stop the car and let them out. She had no empathy for their terror and kept driving like a mad-woman out of control. Eventually Lindsay speeds up to the driveway of the girl’s home, only to completely terrify the mother who was backing her car in/out of the driveway. This mother didn’t know who the hell was in this car and probably thought she was about to get robbed and murdered by some “punks”. Elderly people have died of heart-attacks from lesser shocks.
Lindsay’s lucky she didn’t get charged with kidnapping and car theft by those guys and the owner of the car who was left behind! What if it was your little daughter sitting in the back seat and Lindsay had taken off in your car while you’re left on the sidewalk just sick with worry?
OC lady, I’m a doctor and I’ve watched too many families bury their loved ones because of someone’s reckless behaviour behind the wheel of a car. My heart goes out to you for the loss of your friend.
Lindsay had no right to risk those other boys’ lives and terrorize a mother and daughter just because she was having a drug-fueled temper tantrum. Those people still probably have nightmares about that night. She needs to be off the streets and away from cars until she can reassure the courts and society that she won’t do it again. The same applies for any other person who did what she did. Cars are lethal weapons, not to be taken lightly by those who drive them.

  163. Canucklehead says:

    Hey Futurestar!

    You’re an idiot.

  164. glee says:

well, this sucks for her. she needs this though to clean up her act. Get with it Lindsey!

  165. hmm says:

Futurestar, I appreciate your attempt to lessen the vitriol a bit. I understood your comments as expressing sadness for the state of her life and not once did you say she shouldn’t go to jail. I too hope she gets the help she needs before it’s too late and I don’t find anything idiotic about your comments.

  166. popcorny says:

I was only rejoicing because now she can get the help she needs (*sticks finger in dimple*).
-phhhhlt … not at all (can’t keep a straight face on that one).
I’m elated that the lying loser is finally getting some legal beat-down.
I’m joyous that an over-privileged celebrity is finally (almost) being treated like anyone else.
I’m psyched that someone saw right through her sneaky and snakey-ass bs.
-oh, that’s just terrible, isn’t it? (*phhhllt*)
And this bit about her having no “real” friends and terrible parents, blah blah blah and etc., it’s all a load of henny hogwash (and the chief enabler of her scumbagging ways via making excuses (for a grown adult).
Nothing (especially folks making excuses for her) was going to stop that hoodsie rat -only the legal system.
“Who did she hurt?” -Start with Ali, the “kidnapped bunch”, all the people she stole from (didn’t she also just get served, today, on yet another act of thieving scumbaggery?)(hint:yes), etc. and so on all the way to, and including, the slap-in-the-face to everyone else who did far less but who’ve been penalized far more (just because they weren’t famous and/or priviledged).
so … from the rooftops …
    -HALLELUJIAH!!!!!
    >:^D
    and …. -MUHAAHAAHAAAHAAHAAA!!!!!

  167. Mia says:

She’s an out of control, delusional adult. A drunk and drugged driving fool who could kill like Vince Neil and clearly doesn’t care. Any responsible career woman, as she says she is, would have some respect and trepidation today. She’s going to court after failing to comply, after fourth, fifth, and sixth chances.

However, not so with Linds (from Popeater, I think):

The actress may not have been fully aware of how badly her day could end. She took to Twitter in the early morning to voice her excitement about a sale on Louis Vuitton bags.

Tell me again why I should feel bad for Princess de Louis Vuitton?

It’s time for her to face consequences. If you really do care, you know darn well she and everyone needs to see that happen.

And if not, tough. Finally a court is doing its job, protecting the public and enforcing laws from an entitled out of control celeb. Great job Revel, you just saved a California driver’s life.

  168. skeptical says:

where does the honorable judge talk about lindsay’s crazy high-speed chase? Does Revel mention it at all? I heard somwhere that she read out what happened to justify the sentence or something like that?

I’m totally Team Revel on this but I was curious about the car chase.. since i don’t really know anything about it beyond Lindsay JOKING about high-speed chases on the PCH.

  169. mai tai says:

This judge is Linsay’s best friend even though Linsay doesnt realize it yet.
She is helping to save Linsays life.

But Linsay needs to do the full 90 days plus the rehab.
I hope it works out for her and she gets well.

  170. MissyA says:

    Just tuned in. . . and . . . AWESOME!!

I’m sure I’ll have more to say after mulling over the comments, but I really hope something sticks in her twisted little noggin. I hope she gets some sense of self-awareness and humility. I hope she ultimately leaves county/rehab with a new perspective.

    . . .

But knowing who her parents are, I sincerely doubt it.

  171. My2Cents says:

Personally I think her mother should be chucked in the clink as well for being such a bad mother and role model.

  172. Lia says:

She’s not going to jail. The two weeks her lawyer asked for was more than likely a ploy to give her enough time to flee the country, or to find a way to appeal the sentence. I’ll believe jail when I see it.

  173. SolitaryAngel says:

Yahooooo! I’m sending Judge Revel a big old CARVEL ice cream cake!!!!! 😀

  174. GatsbyGal says:

This is the best news I’ve heard ALL YEAR.

Who wants to bet me that she either overdoses and kills herself in the days leading up to her jailtime, or overdoses and kills herself immediately after getting out?

  175. Richi says:

It’s a fair & square verdict by judge Revel. Awesome! I hope at least now Lindsay pull up her socks & start a new life after jail & probation!

  176. Lenore says:

@Lia – so you’re saying Lindsay Lohan is planning a kind of really low-rent Polanski?

I can’t wait til they catch up with her in thirty years in Switzerland, still downing Red Bull and tweeting that she totally meant to get back after the two weeks were up but a dog ate her passport. Mama Dina in a wheelchair on the porch, hitting the arresting officer with a cane, wailing that the whole world is a conspiracy against her poor family.

  177. gloaming says:

Just for those of you who have sympathy for her……….

She had “Fuck U” written on her middle finger nail.
That was pointed at the Judge throughout most of the day.

    Nice and classy Lindsay.

    http://www.wwtdd.com/enlargedimage/?back_to=/2010/07/lindsay-had-fucku-written-on-her-nails-the-entire-time/60979051-2/&postid=605561

  178. Ogechi says:

my heart breaks for this girl. she is so beautiful and such a great actress! i think her family is so screwed up and thats a situation hasn’t helped her any either! i don’t see any positive influences in her life. i sincerely hope she does well and gets on the right track. hopefully the media will leave her alone and let her get her life together privately. i wish her all the luck in the world. how sad:(

  179. Jazz says:

I can’t believe her father was there trying to get some camera time. Hopefully she’ll learn something from this, but probably not.

  180. mojoman says:

And when all this chaos went down @ the court, her mother of the year was most probably snorting left over snow somewhere in a N.J club. Great job Dina!!

  181. Brittney says:

Judge Revel, you might have saved her life.

  182. Hannah says:

Years ago, I read Perez. I remember the exact story that caused me to stop reading – the joy he took in Jamie Lynn Spears’ pregnancy. I didn’t really know who she was but reading someone actually it all THAT much was just gross to me.

As much as I’ve enjoyed this site this is it for me here too. I don’t particularly like Lindsay or care but the enjoyment and the pleasure you are taking out of this is just weird. She’s someone who needs help, clearly, from a rut that is not easy to get out of regardless of if you have fame or not.

We’re all here to read about celebs and I understand a certain amount of your opinions will be presented in your writing – it is a blog – but the way you’re enjoying this. You are no better than Perez.

  183. The Truth Fairy says:

Waiting for Dina to blame this on an unfair vendetta by the judge or the incompetence of Lindsay’s attorney.

Maybe this will wake her up. She is so used to getting her own way. But she should be on suicide watch for sure!

The most interesting part was that the judge orders a review of all her prescription meds to determine how they mix with alcohol and also the possibility of self-harm. Hmmmmm

UPDATE!!! I HATE PEREZ BUT HE HAS A CLOSE UP PIC OF LIND’S MIDDLE FINGERNAIL AND SHE WROTE F*CK U ON IT AND WAS HOLDING IT UP TO THE JUDGE!!!

  184. lucy2 says:

Jail is needed to show her there’s consequences and that she has to respect the court system (which she clearly does not). Rehab was needed to save her life. I sincerely hope she uses the rehab time to get clean. I suspect she has no interest in it since she still doesn’t think she did anything wrong, and with that attitude she could go right back to partying after rehab, but I hope not.

  185. WoooHooooo says:

That poor “child”, why is everybody always picking on poor Lindsay LOLOL…. The judge deserves a medal….

  186. simplicity says:

How much do I love Judge Revel? Enormoously! She stated the truth in regard to numerous infractions over the past 3 years.

Also loved the way Judge Revel handled the DUI school. They did have a responsibility to notify the court and follow up for a docket or minutes.

  187. Ruby Red Lips says:

I think the message on her finger nail says all about her attitude and why she thought she was going to walk away free

It is sad, I hope she gets help with th rehab but I’m not convined long term anything is going to change.

    Hopefully she’ll prove me wrong

  188. gloaming says:

    @Hannah 184.
I see your point and I agree with you to an extent, but the fact remains she lied through her teeth all the way to when she was addressing the Judge. I can only speak for myself, but it’s difficult for me to have sympathy for her.

She expected special treatment and thought she was above the law.

So many celebrities get away with this kind of thing or worse – like hit and run accidents, had Lindsay only received probation we’d all be furious. I for one am glad she’s going to prison, it’s been a long time coming!

I know her actions are those of a drug addict and her Doctor’s aren’t helping her by providing her with prescription drugs, hopefully this will be reviewed by the Judge. She’ll have no choice but to dry out in prison then go to rehab and come back and make millions on interviews and special appearances.

For everything she’s done she should be celebrating. There’s no way she’ll spend anywhere near 90 days in prison, more like 20.

And I’m sorry guy’s but her performance in the court moved me to tears (of laughter).

  189. Johnthing says:

It’s the best thing for her that could have happened. Not so much enabling in the pokey. Besides, we all know she won’t be there long enough for any real self-realization.

  190. ams1 says:

yeah um who are all these people that feel bad for her? you make your bed, you hop your ass in.

gotta go through it to get through it. she will either be alright or not & either way, its totally up to her.

  191. Anne de Vries says:

I have some empathy for her, but it’s very stretched and tired. Yes, it’s true she got a crappy start as far as life skills go. Idiot parents and a difficult world to navigate. Stuff she was in no way equipped for.

BUT – SHE is the one who didn’t show up for court days. SHE is the one who talked all the way through the judge’s verdict. SHE is the one who surrounded herself with enablers and sent anyone vaguely critical away. SHE is the one who choses the go out and get wasted every night. And she is the one who continues to blame everything and everyone except her for messing up.

Responsibility for your own fuckups has to start somewhere. It should have started when she was a kid, but she got a crap deal on that, so now there’s a massive backlog of responsibility and it just fell on her head. I hope she comes out of this as a healed person, but I can’t say I feel terribly optimistic.

  192. Kirsten says:

I really hope that the jail time and mandatory rehab help. It has to be hard to get sober in regular conditions, this girl has most of the country waiting around for her to fail. Hopefully things work out for her. I’ve got your back Lindsey… hope everything ends up great at the end.

  193. Victoria says:

Finally! I mean FINALLY! This is LONG over due you guys and I agree this will probably SAVE HER! No one wants her to die and actually can she lay off the DYE?! ha ha ha!!! Im say we all have ice cream cake to celebrate! Oh and by the way I am SO SORRY she has to go to jail…NOT! Tough it out girlie!

  194. Wif says:

@Canucklehead. How is Futurestar! an idiot? They stated their opinion (which IS that Lindsay go to jail) respectfully, without name calling, and with a great deal of empathy. If you’re ever in a place of trouble, this is the exact kind of person you’ll need. In fact, this is the kind of person that the world needs to help us be peaceful towards one another; healers instead of judgers.

    I’ve got your back Futurestar!

  195. kelbear says:

She also had the words F*CK YOU on her finger nails

  196. DoMaJoReMc says:

As far as the subtle “F*CK U”message on her nail, I’m surprised that her attorney didn’t tell her to cover it, or at least to hide it.

    Flagrant disregard for the Judge.

    IDIOT.

  197. Gwen says:

    Good God people.

    She is not a GIRL.

    She is not a CHILD.

She is a grown ass woman who has had every good thing her whole life, millions of dollars, more chances than any of the rest of us will ever get, and she threw that away. Why on earth should we feel sorry for her?

  198. cprincess says:

The mother is an enabler who put her out to work from a young age the father is a total asshole who also just wants a payday and personally I think its the best thing that can happen to her -the judge may just have saved her life….
They need to detox her off all the perscription meds and keep her away from her family when shes in rehab after jail.
Look, she’s obviously an addict and in this case the only way for her to maybe get clean is with what the judge has ordered.
She truly is talented and not a complete waste of space like Paris Hilton etc-I hope she makes it….

  199. Music says:

Her last hit movie was “Mean Girls” she is not some child, she is a adult and she has been given so many passes, because at one time people felt she had a bad upbringing. But she is totally self entitled and completely drugged out crazy little snit.

I’m about to be 26 and I know what the rules of life are, I can’t go rob a bank and expect to be “let off” because people think I’m pretty. How insane is that.

Maybe she can pull her life out the gutter, like Robert Downey Jr, and he actually SERVED TIME again and again, and made a legitimate comeback in late 2000’s now he is one sought after star. The SAME can happen to Blowhan, she just needs time to reflect, a therapist and GET RID of her mom out of her life and money. I think the poor young adult money is ALL GONE on drugs and to pay for whatever Mom wanted. I bet she has less then 20k left.

  200. Iggles says:

Wow. This is gotten over 200 comments. Simply amazing…

No, I don’t feel bad for her. She made her own bed.

  201. skeptical says:

Thank you, KO. Wow I had no idea that it was that bad!

If a normal peep like me had commandeered someone else’s car, sped through red lights and ignored traffic laws with passengers in the car while chasing someone scared out of her wits… I would have gone straight to jail!

This sentence was overdue. Lindsay had been given all her celebrity-driven mercy chances and she screwed even that up.

  202. juiceinla says:

As tired as I am of this twit-twat’s snozzberry shenanigans, I am sooooo very glad the judge gave her the additional 90 days of rehab.

I did not want to read about her untimely death. I just hope the jail time plus rehab will start her on a path to recovery.

I jadedly wonder though, whether a less “celebrated” criminal gets this sort of sentencing in Bev. Hills. And of course I know better. Let’s hope they make her pay for all her jail/rehab costs.

  203. Sway says:

Look at that b*tch, you can tell she’s saying ‘WHAAAAT’,even NOW she cannot believe that someone DARES to put her, the great ‘celebrity’ in jail. Moron.

  204. Naomi says:

And to think I used to like this bitch back in the day of Mean Girls.
I’m glad she’s getting put in jail for almost 3 months.
The faces she pulled when her sentence was being said disgusted me.
A really ”Oh my god how can she? I don’t deserve this!” look.
    And that Judge is awesome.

  205. danny says:

Judge Revel for the win!!! Finally someone stepped up and gave this girl some home truths. Its a blessing in the disguise for her. Revel may be the parental figure she never had who can teach her what her parents clearly didn’t care to.

  206. daniel says:

Considering we are talking about a person that has made a number of errors and mistakes along the way, Please don’t forget your compassion. As humans, we are all just as capable of equal or even worst steps and at such times would welcome not only the discipline needed to wake us up but also the heartfelt expression of love, faith and supporting encouragement to give us belief and strength to make the changes needed.

  207. jazzazz says:

OMG, you are too funny whoever wrote this commentary…. I LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE IT

  208. Smoker says:

Lindsay looks like a 40 year old woman who smokes and tans too much. She has aged very BADLY!
