Yay! Last night was the big Salt premiere in LA, and Angelina Jolie was in attendence with Brad, who has officially recovered his hot. Initial thoughts: Angelina is doing a black dress with nude shoes AGAIN. Damn, Angie. Work a pair of crazy Louboutins in black or red or navy or something. As far as the black dress – strapless, glittery, and shorter than she usually wears, but not too short. Not her best or most original fashion moment, serviceable but boring. It would have been nice to see her do something different with her hair too. Brad however… he looked really good!
Guess who else was invited? James Haven and daddy Voight. Voight looks half in the bag.
And Liev Scheiber and Naomi Watts, who are still together, although neither of them really looks happy about it. I wish Angie had worn Naomi’s dress.

Angie, Gollum called – he wants his arms back. Brad, however, doesn’t look too bad here and the shoe/dress combo would have looked amazing on AJ back in the days when she still ate.
I really don’t mean to sound catty, but I think she’s too skinny for that dress. Her arms and legs look so gangly. Her makeup is gorgeous, but I think she looks better in longer, more simple gowns. The dress looks almost ill-fitting, and may I say too young? It’s really similar to a homecoming dress I wore in the 90s…she always has great makeup, tho.
I recently attended LaineyGossip’s SMUT Soiree, and there was a photog there who told some stories, and he talked about Brad Pitt, and how one of his signature red carpet moves is to put his hand on the small of his dates back/upper butt, and lean in and “whisper” something in her ear and she laughs, and it always gets printed and it’s a classic picture that they probably practice in the mirror. He had a ton of them with Aniston too, and now when I see it, I have to laugh…They look so cool and happy, but it’s all so calculated. And celebrities wonder why people are obsessed!!! It’s such a soap opera!
ps. not saying that they aren’t cool and happy – don’t need to start that. Just that, even if they are, their moves are all just a calculation to get the best shot…which always happens to be the same shot
The shoes in the close-up are not the shoes on Angie. Angie’s shoes have black heels and the ones in the close-up have beige heels. Also her toenails are not red in the full length photos.

She looks lovely and elegant, although I’m sure the nasty comments about her thin arms will soon abound. If she truly was too thin, you would see it in her shoulders and chest area as well, and they look fine. She has naturally long thin arms. I do too, pretty much no matter what I weigh. And veiny I might add.

I think it’s super refreshing to see Angelina in a short, fun, young number! She’s only 35 after all… She looks beautiful! Her hair and makeup are flawless, and the shoes are fun too, I love the black heel with a nude pump. Very chic.

I don’t like the flesh colored shoes with the black dress – they don’t look good together. Black shoes or any other dark color would have been better. Yes, this is boring. It looks like them circa 2006. Why can’t she ever just throw on a bright red dress, hair maybe up in a side pony or something? And those tats are soooo boring. Brad looks better, but still not his crisp hotness. He looks like he’s kinda thrown together. I don’t get the slam on Voight, he looks like he always looks, why assume he’s lit? Naomi and Liev look like the props department stood them together and they are trying to make it work. No one looks genuinely happy here. It’s actually sad.
That first picture makes her arms look scary skinny, her hands too. She really needs to gain back some of her weight. I love some of her clothes, but her tatoos just ruin the overall look for me. They make her look trashy, and she isn’t the only one in hollywood who I think looks trashy with tat’s. They both look so happy and very very attached to one another after going on 6 years together, and are so supportive of one another. There is a lot of love between these two and it shows.
Angelina is built like her Dad, long and lean, that is her body shape. She trained months for Laura Croft, something she said she did not have lots of time to do with 6 kids including 2 newborn babies for Salt. She is no thinner than most of Tinseltown women. AmyP, head of Sony, had the same combination of black dress and nude pumps as Angie at the premiere.
Saw a pic at the afterpary where Brad hung with JonV, and read that Angie and JonV hugged. Happy to see adults work things out and move beyond the past.
Wish everyone could do so and live in the present. What’s past is past and over and done with. Neither Brad nor Angelina have been this openly affectionate and totally attentive to anyone in their pasts for as long as they are now with each other, never being more than 3 days apart. So Sweet.

Fact -AJ is thin she has been thin for 10 years+ w/ the exception of Lara Croft Movies when she “bulked up”.Her arms and legs were even thin and veiny when she was pregnant .Fact- If Brad hadn’t attended the premiere the tabloids would claim they broke up.AJ only does interviews when she is promoting a movie, last interviews were in 2008.Like most mothers she is going to discuss her kids when asked in an interview.Personally I like the dress I’ve never seen her in a sparkly dress. Relief is in store, however. Once you hit your 40s your metabolism goes south and your weight goes north, and you’ll start having to give up that second cupcake.

The “too thin” comments don’t make sense at all. Angelina has always been thin and doesn’t look any thinner now than any other time for the past 10 years. The fact that people keep saying “Tomb Raider” and not “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” or “Taking Lives” should be a huge red flag that she was always thin. Somebody posted a bunch of pictures of Angelina’s premieres and she looked like the same weight in all of them. The only time she was too thin was when she made “Wanted”. She’s a lot heavier now.
Also the “fake whispering” comments are also ridiculous. Are they supposed to not speak to each other on the redcarpet? That’s a long time to ignore somebody. If you’ve bother to look at footage of redcarpets, the press and fans say and do crazy things. It’s not ridiculous to believe they made a joke or comment about something.
Good catch on the shoes. I didn’t notice the black heels until I checked the closeup. She has lot of nude-colored shoes. I’ve seen her in nude flats and they aren’t the most flattering. But the woman has 6 kids and still manages to look amazing so I’m not complaining.
I’m looking at the closeup of Brad’s face and I hope he’s not growing his beard out again. I saw him really clean shaven in a photo a few days ago. He needs to let that look go because he looks so amazing now.

Angelina is also too skinny – those arms, legs and knees! Yikes! She would have been better served wearing something floaty that didnt show just how skinny anorexic she is (and that’s even with the obvious padding on the dress).

I guess everyone knows by now that obesity in north american is at epidemic proportions. Morbidly obese people make up the majority of the population. This explains why people like that are outraged to see a naturally slim woman like Angie. They all want her to eat so she can become fat. Not gonna happen. Your cries of ‘eat a sandwich’ are only being heard by your own damn ears and like robots, you go right ahead and mindlessly continue stuffing your piehole. I know that misery loves company but dont expect Angie to join you anytime soon.

Naomi always looks like she’s about to lose her temper at Liev. It makes you wonder what’s going on behind closed doors with those two when one still photo makes her look like she’d rather be anywhere else.
So is the close up shoe pic of Naomi’s feet? I’m confused…if those are Angie’s, why are the heels black in one pic and nude in another, with different colored polish?
