On February 18, Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva attempted a tree-and-placenta planting ceremony for baby Lucia and Mel freaked out because Oksana was speaking to a gardener. According to reports, Mel began screaming at Oksana for flirting with another man (the gardener), and his rage-o-meter went into overdrive. So Oksana left. But nothing is that easy. Mel decided to call her repeatedly that night, telling her answering machine how much he hated her and how awful she is. Once again, Mel’s rage-filled stupidity would be amusing if you didn’t get the feeling he’s playing with a loaded Colt as he speaks. Mel left a total of eight voicemail messages, and it’s just… like “Monologues From Crazy McTerrorist”. You can hear the messages here, on Radar.
Mel Gibson made up to 30 “terrorizing” phone calls to his ex-lover, Oksana Grigorieva, on the same night she walked out on their volatile three-year relationship, she has told law enforcement investigators. Included in the barrage was eight profanity-laced voicemail messages the clearly irrational Lethal Weapon star left on Oksana’s answering machine at her home.
RadarOnline.com has exclusively obtained those tapes — which are more evidence in three separate law enforcement investigations. The rantings are a twisted mix of more misogynistic insults and rage as Mel again ripped into the mother of his illegitimate child, at one stage labeling her “f*cking disloyal and f*cking weak” and “such a f*cking sl*t”.
In one tirade that lasted just over two minutes, Mel dropped a staggering 23 F-bombs.
In another bizarre message, that lasted just 13 seconds, the words coming out of his mouth barely sounded like words.Oksana has told investigators, who are probing the Oscar-winning actor/director for domestic abuse, that she was “terrorized by a stream of harassing and threatening telephone calls” from Mel after she fled his Malibu mansion, on February 18 this year.
“She estimated that from the time she arrived at the Sherman Oaks home, after she escaped from his house, that she received approximately 30 calls from 8pm to 6am,” said a source, familiar with the case. “Mel told her he wanted to keep her up all night.”
As she attempted to care for the couple’s daughter Lucia, who was just three-months-old at the time, Oksana was unable to answer all the calls and allowed to go to her message-bank. What Oksana recorded will provide investigators an insight into Mel’s state of mind. In another message, he taunted the mother-of-two: “Just making sure you’re awake, if you were trying to sleep. Because I am awake — and you deserve to be. Don’t ever sleep again. Don’t sleep as long as I don’t sleep.”
In the space of 17 minutes, from 2:29am to 2:46am, a seething and scorned Mel made five calls to Oksana. Seemingly paranoid, he also accused Oksana of wanting to destroy him and “see me die” because “subconsciously that is your whole f*cking aim,” as he claimed.
The messages also provide a window into the events which led to the explosive end to their relationship. As RadarOnline.com revealed as part of our headline-making investigation, Oksana walked out on Mel after a tree-planting ceremony in honor of their daughter Lucia, who was three-months-old at the time. At the event, Mel and Oksana buried their daughter’s placenta in the backyard.
In one message, at 2:31am, Mel told Oksana she was “a sour faced bitch” at the ceremony, at which his one-time love supposedly smiled at a maintenance worker. The first voice message was left at 10:27pm and the last at 3:06am, RadarOnline.com has learned.

As a victim of mental abuse in the Mel Gibson degree, I cannot defend his actions towards Oksana. They are completely uncalled for. He clearly needs help. On the other hand, it’s possible that he is a good father. If his other children were raised well and Mel provides them with everything they need, then he should be credited for that endeavor. All Child Protective Services has to do is investigate how his other children have been brought up…they can easily interview his other children and conclude what type of father he is. I also believe that most of his rage comes from the break-up…he finally reached the boiling point and lost his mind. It’s probably unfathomable that this woman had the nerve to dump the almighty Mel Gibson.
I think he does make a valid point about her career in the sense that it ties back to one of the earlier messages, where he says that ‘there is no career’, meaning her career. I thought he was referring to himself, but he was referring to financing her career. He financed some of it, and it didn’t go well so he cut his losses, and in his view, she has cooled her heels.
No, this doesn’t justify him going off the deep end and leaving so many messages and being a prick, but at the same time, this is a reaction of a really unhinged person who hasn’t really realised that venting isn’t a functional form of catharsis. It’s a short term measure, but not a long term measure.

God, ain’t that the truth? I wouldn’t be at all surprised if that was something that was on Oksana’s mind when she met him. Yeah, she is foreign, but you can’t not know Mel Gibson and know some of his history. She may have thought she could fix him and show him the road to true happiness. He’s not a good father if it is true that she was holding the baby when he physically assaulted her. For him, the baby didn’t even exist while he was completely focused on Oksana during his rage. What happens when his child challenges him in some way or asks something of him emotionally or physically that makes him feel helpless, impotent or angry??
Anyone with little children and grown children knows that this is a constant internal journey to navigate.

A lot of amateur psych 101 going on today, so I’ll add mine. His rage could be from any of those things, or it could be that he realized she was in it for the money and a propped up music “career”. As soon as he stopped forking over the money, she was done. Realizing he’d been played, his narcissism surfaced and the result is rage.
I have come to the conclusion that he is a psycho and she is a cold hearted, gold digger who wanted a fake career bankrolled by Mel. He’s a grown man and should have spotted her coming a mile away and I think he is pissed that he fell for it.

If anyone talked to me, or threatened me in that way, I would not sit back and take it.
Unfortunately Child Services all around the world ignore mental and emotional abuse unless it is accompanied by neglect and physical abuse. It is sad and it is wrong, but if a child is materially provided for, e.g. lives in a relatively clean house, wears clean clothes, is fed, schooled etc. they won’t do anything. I have seen it first hand and nothing has ever made me so angry.

I stopped sleeping with my face in the pillow a few years ago after noticing lines that weren’t there the night before on my lower jaw and cheeks and it’s made a huge difference.
It’s an adjustment to change sleep postions but better than having a Chinese Checkerboard on your pretty Pookie face. 🙂

@Pookie: There is hope! I sleep using a satin pillow case now, because I’ve learned it’s healthier for my curly hair. Subsequently I’ve noticed that it lets my skin ‘slip’ better on the pillow – doesn’t grab it and hold it in place while my face mushes thus forming lines. So really, the line is barely visible now, whereas 10 years ago, I was really struggling with it!

Why should she be deported back to Russia? Is she a dangerous criminal? Is she trying to bring down the American government? So ridiculous…
I hope Oksana gets full custody of this baby and that Mel can finally be forced to confront his issues. I really, really hope that Mel gets the serious help he needs and that it works–that he gets those alcohol and rage demons under control and gets his life back. Because, I do feel sorry for him, too.
