Apparently, Robert Pattinson recently completed filming on Water for Elephants. So what’s a Sparklepants to do? Go home to England and get wasted with his buds? Or tag along with Kristen Stewart, his girlfriend, while she begins filming for On the Road? I think we know what Robert decided – after all, he’s a good boyfriend, and he’s totally in love with Kristen’s eye-rolling, lip-biting angsty ass. Kristen is playing Mary Lou, Jack Kerouac’s fictional take on Neal Cassidy’s first wife Luanne Henderson. By the way, Garrett Hedlund is playing Dean Moriarty (Neal Cassidy) and Sam Riley is playing Sal Paradise (Kerouac). But I digress – Pattinson is going “on the road” with Kristen, so they’re still together and still in love and everybody’s so happy and sparkly!

Pattinson, 24, and Stewart, 20, were both wearing shades and dressed low-key, with Pattinson carrying a guitar in a case on his back. The young A-listers were mobbed by fans and cameramen as they returned from the Canadian city, where Stewart had been working on her latest film, On the Road.
Need proof these two are box office gold? As of Tuesday, the pair’s latest film, Eclipse, had taken in almost $300 million in the U.S., less than two months after its release.

I like that Pattinson visits Kristen on-set and even has the audacity to kiss and nuzzle her in public (photos here), because you know she hates that sh-t. She’s all “get a room, Sparklepants.” I also like that he doesn’t seem to worry about the optics of traveling with her while she works and all of that – he seems to be the one devoted to the relationship, I think. I also love that he travels with his guitar. That’s so… cute. And young. Between the guitar, and flannel motif, and the “Che” shirt, I feel like it’s 1996 all over again. Sigh… Sparklepants.

Yes, he cares so much about her that he always brings his boyfriend, I mean best friend Tom Sturridge with who “coincidentally” happens to also be in that film. Pattinson was in Montreal to visit him and along the way made sure that those gay rumours don’t get out of hand but his “best friend” was still present when the absolutely straight couple “kissed”(no lip action actually) and the papparazzi that “caught” them just had good luck and certainly wasn’t tipped by the managment of the butchy Bella.

I just saw KStew in a movie she made when she was about 13 called “Speak.” Such a good movie. It received high ratings and she was so excellent in this movie. She CAN act. I think she has gotten a bit self-conscious with all the attention in connection with the Twilight films, the fan base for the books, and her relationship with Robert. The only films I have seen her in where her acting isn’t up to par is the Twilight movies. Her love is Independent Films. She has been excellent in any and all other movies I have seen her in.
So she’s not a girlie girl. That doesn’t make her gay. I’m defending her because I understand her awkwardness. She’s not like most Hollywood actresses. The girl is gorgeous and unique, and I can understand Robert’s attraction to her.

Why is it ok to accuse someone of being gay as a put down or criticism? It happens daily, with Rob, Kristen, Zac Efron, Bradley Cooper and others. It’s sad and hypocritical. Criticize the acting, the movie roles, the way they dress, an interview, etc, not their sexuality. Haven’t we moved past this in 2010? Are we not more open minded and tolerant?

These 2 young people are definitely in love and I am so happy to see them together. They may be young but I am impressed by the way they handle their careers and lovelife.I am pretty sure Kristen and Rob will end up happily married, with a very successful family life, financially stable, in or out of movie world. After all one has to only look at their family background to know that these two adorable and amazing people are in for a long and lasting relationship.
