Angelina Jolie was on the Budapest set of her directorial debut (for non-documentary films) when her lover Brad Pitt showed up and ruined everything! Miss Bossypants (excuse me, SAINT Bossypants) had to stop yelling at people long enough to greet Brad and look all lovely dovey. Temporarily! Because as soon as Brad was out of sight, she went back to yelling at people.
Totally unfair? You know I love her. But the paparazzi caught her in several “compromising bossypants” situations, with her mouth mid-yell. It’s funny though. I wouldn’t mind if she yelled at me. And after all, she is the director. She’s supposed to order people around. Or order people to order other people around (delegating!). Anyway, Us Weekly has the “scoop” on Brad’s visit to the set – hint: they started making out in front of EVERYONE. Not really, it just seems like a little kiss. Scandal.
Angelina Jolie got a pleasant surprise Wednesday on the Budapest, Hungary- set of her Bosnian love story: Beau Brad Pitt!
The actress, 35, was all smiles as she showed Pitt, 46, around. At one point, they even smooched!
The still-untitled film – which is being produced by Oscar winner Graham King — centers on a love story set against the backdrop of the Bosnian War.
After wrapping up Moneyball in Boston, Pitt arrived overseas last week — with 2-year-old twins Knox and Viv — to join Jolie and the rest of their family.
With the kids enrolled in school, the Jolie-Pitt clan will likely remain in Europe for the next several weeks as filming continues.

Honestly, I’m still depressed that Angelina is doing this film. Sure, I’m proud of her for stretching and doing something different, but I have the sneaking suspicion that this might be a crappy film, based on a crappy screenplay (which Jolie wrote). I can’t comprehend how she would do this as opposed to Gravity, which she rejected twice, even after the producers offered even more money than her already high asking price. If Angelina would have signed on to Gravity, she would have been one of the most highly paid women in Hollywood history. Instead, she chose to go to Budapest and direct this. Sigh… we’ll see, Angelina.
UPDATE: Bosnia just revoked permission to film there. Apparently, some Bosnian ladies don’t want their grief to be exploited by Saint Bossypants. I guess she’ll probably film the whole thing in Budapest. Just my guess!

I mean she wouldn’t half ass this if she is doing it for the first time. Its something she is passionate about and wants to do well and I believe it will be. Angie has tons of talented friends to help bring out her natural talent. This is gonna be a great project.
It’s great to see them together. And It’s interesting that while all these other couples are imploding after being practically ignored by the tabloids, these two are still going strong. Live long and prosper Brangelina.

Turning down someone elses movie to direct a movie that you wrote is one of the perks of being a MOVIE STAR!! There are people who would kill to get a script produced and all Angelina has to do is mention her passion to an Oscar winning producer and it’s done!! That’s what being A++ list means. “Gravity” is just another movie and another one will come along. In fact, the way things are going for “Gravity” right now, they might still be trying to get Angelina to do it whenever she’s ready. Natalie Portman has turned it down and they have now gotten around to asking Sandra Bullock. That makes about 10 actresses they’ve asked to do this thing.
I have no idea how Angelina’s movie will turn out but for people to already say it will be a stinker, well you are vastly under estimating Angelina Jolie.

Yeah, I kind of don’t get these two. They are so in love, have plenty of money and then some, have huge charities they are a part of, have 6 beautiful children, and friends and family who adore them. Why must they go from doing one project, to the next, to the next. I suspect they cannot be alone together for long periods of time and use work as an excuse the get away from each other and all of the kids. I am not saying that it is unhealthy but if my girlfriend and I could afford to take 6 months or a year off of work (and had the kind of jobs that allowed us to do so), I think we certainly would, even if we had a litter of children.

these people look so fake to me, it’s appalling. what a coincidence that every time she and brad kiss or she goes out with all the kids there is always a photo op. she looks very controlling and manipulative. nannies never show up in pictures, even though she has at least 5 nannies for the kids. in my opinion she is a great manipulator of the press. those kids are dragged around the world every few weeks with no roots whatsoever. you never see them playing with other kids, since they can’t make any friends because of the constant travelling. do you really think brangelina spends more than an hour (if that) with those children? one day these kids are going to grow up and it will be interesting to see how they turn out. i just hope for their sake that they get some sort of normalcy (even if the parents are famous).

I think Angelina Jolie is one of those people who find comfort in constant change. Unfortunately her six kids will suffer the consequences of instability and inconsistency no matter how good of a parent she tries to be. Good thing she has floormat Brad to help hold down the fort. That’s what’s keeping these two together. I’m guessing he’s a frustrated man who loves his children dearly and is trying to make the best of the situation.

Actor’s pet projects are usually crap no matter who makes them. I think if an actor wants to get into directing, they should do it with a project that is isn’t something they’ve obsessed about for however many years. At that point they won’t compromise on anything and won’t get fresh opinions.
Having Oscar-winning people on a project doesn’t mean a damn thing. Kevin Costner is an Oscar-winning producer.

#39 sorry I cannot read your name. I am only making this assumption based on my own experience as a child who was uprooted from my home and schools because of my father’s occupation. My husband had the same experience growing up. We both come from a large family as well. It was unsettling. It was my father’s occupation and means of supporting his family,not a choice. Travel is great for kids and educational but it appears to me these kids are constantly moving around and they are so young.
It’s not that I really care. It’s just an observation and MO. I dont hate on these people, I just see it as a little selfish. They seem to be here there and everywhere. I could be totally out to lunch too!

I find it hilarious that people are always claiming that the children are going to grow up “instable and inconsistent” and that they’re always dragged everywhere when they always look like nothing less than really happy and well adjusted kids. I don’t think AJ is a saint, but I do think she’s a good mom.
And the thing about Gravity, the lead character is pretty much on screen by herself for the entire movie so they need to cast an incredibly good, strong actress in the role who could carry a movie basically on her own. If AJ is really passionate about the film she’s making I can see why she turned it down.
These two have been together a lot longer than some people would have guessed, and longer than some would have liked. I honestly don’t get the hate for them as a couple. I think it’s cool they’re still together and still seem solid.
Just to add that there are plenty of unstable children in the US, having lots of issues (child pregnancy, violence, drugs, illiteracy, can’t even speak proper english aka the only language they will ever speak, fed with trash culture all day long, to name a few)…who will never see the color of a passeport.
Just to let you know that changing coutries and being uprooted from different countries to countries is one of the least reason for someone to turn out an unstable and unhappy adult and that so far there is no proven corrolation set between children who have lived this type of life turning out more miserable and unstable versus the exclusive homebred type turning perfectly fine.
True you lack some of the things you would have if not but you also get other things, experineces in terms of language richness, various culture, different perspective to see the world, higher capacity of adaptation, ect.
So until there is a correlation set, people should just relax and stop putting their own presumptions and concern unto something that is not related to begin with and let those children live teh way their parents chose to raise them….at least until stats prove that those children raised the same way turn out worst than the others who are’nt.

Personally I think Kaiser hates Angelina. She always says that all of the tabloid rumors are true or mostly true. Nobody knows what this movie is about so I’m baffled why people say it’s horrible. The rape story is rumor. Nobody has seen a script. Also for some reason people think this is a big budget, mass appeal film. It’s a low-budget art film. The dialogue may not even be English. The studio will be happy just to get their money back.

We all know people besides actors have jobs that require their families move around quite a bit, members of the military, diplomats, and even regular Americans whose job requires that they move to a new place for a better position opportunity. Their kids turn out fine so will the Jolie-Pitt children.
They know Angelina has done one a film year since really starting her family. If they can’t understand why they WORK to bring in money thats on them. Never mind the fact I never seen Brad nor Angelina on any of the richest couples lists, they don’t make that much money, they donate large chunks of their paychecks to worthy causes. Acting is how they do that.
Some parents work several hours a week, leave that job and go to another job at night, barely seeing their kids. Brad and Angie are with their children all the time. The kids are with them on set and plus Brad and Angelina have taken long stretches where neither work. The kids are always around their parents. Not alot of people can say the same thing.

The Real News Here is in the Update. What is this script really about??????!!!!!!! Is the premise really about a rape victim who falls in love with her rapist???!!!!! If so, CNN should be all over this. How can a humanitarian of the highest order condone (write, even, though I doubt she actually has writing ability) the making of this kind of movie?

Futhermore Angelina is very respectful, and she will be as a film maker and plenty of films have been made that a country doesn’t agree with. Again its hard to judge a film that hasn’t come out yet. People are gonna judge hate before there is anything concrete to hate on. Do what you do haters. I am not here to stop you. Angie is gonna do something magical here and even if the people don’t understand the story, I know something sweet is coming from it.
We haven’t read the script, there is a Bosnian actress in the lead of the film, so I highly doubt she would do the film if it was disrespectful to an extreme degree. We will see. Just wait and be patient.

This movie that she is making,”bosnian love story”, is beyond insulting. Story is about a serbian soldier who rapes bosnian girl, cuts her breast and then they FALL IN LOVE!!!!

I don’t understand, it seemed clear that the movie was about the story of Bosko and Admira, and as far as I can recall he wasn’t a rapist and she wasn’t his victim. Or at least I hope so…
I’m not a fan of hers by any stretch, but if she really has decided to make a movie of this story of rapes, well I feel quite disappointed. Considering that she was crying golden tears of desperation during her visit somewhere in former Yugoslavia, I think that she should’ve found a better script to render homage to the victims of that war, just saying… she’s not Kusturica, for the sake of good Cinema.

Uhhh a hater is a person who will believe any negative thing about someone they hate. They go will out of their way to straight dog their name. They cling to any lie or rumor like its an effing fact. They at every moment and at every chance say something negative about that person. That goes way beyond disliking somebody. That makes you an effing hater.

Oh redlips Hamm is a good example of a hater. Hamm, no matter what the post about Angelina, digs in the ground pulls out a negative comment. NO MATTER WHAT. It can be Angelina’s bday and guess who has something negative to say…Hamm. Angie is in a new movie, guess who has something negative to say…Hamm. Its kinda crazy because she isn’t outright mean but the comment is sooo negative no matter what. I have never seen Hamm say anything nice about the Jolie-Pitts who she clearly hates because everything from her is negative, I mean who goes out of there way to post something negative like that. Its usually after I have said something too that here Hamm comes with the negative.

Just because someone says something negative about something or someone does not make them a hater. HATE is a very strong and powerful word. I personally don’t hate anyone however, there are people that I loathe. Big difference!

I am remain highly suspicious about all this. Call me cynical, but I believe Jolie has fabricated and leaked this story to create controversy. It will shortly be revealed that the plot is more innocous, permits will be restored, Jolie will look like a victim, and more publicity has been generated for her film…

redlips as far as I know the word HATER isn’t in the dictionary and I gave a very accurate description of what a hater is above which you clearly didn’t read well. Hater is my generations word, it originated from my age group, I know what that word means better than anyone in the there mid to late 30s and early 40s so I don’t need a lot of you trying to tell me what it means, you stick to what you learned in your days and let me school you on what it is now.
